I heard about this place from coworkers or at least the anticipation of it. A bar with a mini golf course. Some how I thought there would be more mini golf courses, I think when I went in there were only like 4 courses, unless there were other courses on the place I did not know about. Food options felt limited, usually when you know a place has limited food it is usually a good sign because that is what they specialize in. But here I don't know... Most of their foods were tacos and flatbread and bar food. The nachos I had were alright I did wish the barbacoa was a little more tender, but the pretzels tasted stale in my honest opinion. I went here for a work event and it was a lot of fun! Aside from the minigolf, they offer another game that I haven't seen anywhere else, that was something akin to tabletop minigolf and horseshoes (as far as scoring) - it was a lot of fun! Staff was kind and friendly, definitely happy to explain the rules of the games (and encourage you to bend them as needed)! Environment was also fun - casual and not too noisy. One thing I especially liked was that it was fairly accessible. If you are low-vision or partially sighted, you can get in pretty close to examine the course and even feel it if necessary. The scoring however is written on the surfaces, so if you're totally blind you may need some assistance, which is a bummer. The competitor in me came out on the other course where you use a pool stick like object to push the ball into the highest number category possible! I really like they have dedicated spots for your beverage at each station. Keeps things clean and minimized stress. It's the worst when you have to find a place for your beverage before shooting your minigolf shots. The food was a pleasant surprise! The tacos are very good! Fun vibes all around for Tipsy Putt. Came here as a large group and we were able to book the balcony area, with $25 per person for unlimited golf. There's about 18 holes: 9 for the mini golf games and 9 for the standard. My friends and I really enjoyed the mini golf ones! It's sort of like shuffle board but on tables. The regular area is alright, very small and can only go so far. I wished they had more of the smaller golfing games, rather than the standard sized ones. We shared the nachos which were a good portion for 5 people! Also had lots of protein choices, but we opted for the beef. Shot glasses are so cute. Green tea and lemon drop were the perfect ratio of alcohol to flavoring, not too sweet or strong. It was busy for a Friday night until around 10 pm when it started dying down. read more

This place was really cute but not necessarily worth the amount of money for only nine holes of mini golf or 1-2putt. If you pay for both you can get 18 holes total, but it was a bit pricey for half of a regular course. So much fun!!! Like plain good old fun. This place was jumping on a Saturday afternoon! 21+ due the bar. This is a great place to gather with friends, a team building event, or fun date option! Mini golf, table golf, and arcade games (costs extra)! There is also a giant sized Connect Four, and Uno cards (free), with many tables to sit and play your heart away. There is a full sized bar with probably two dozen beers, ciders, and spritzers on tap that rotate. You can try any of them before you decide too! They even have a decent sized menu of food options, when your tummy starts to growl after all the putt putt! This experience gave my inner child so much joy to play the mini golf. My fiance and I came on a Saturday at around 1:00pm and I was super excited. We love mini golf and are golfers so naturally, mini putt/golf is always fun for us. It was quite busy for a Saturday early afternoon, but there wasn't a huge delay in terms of holes and waiting for groups to finish. We opted for the unlimited golf which was $29. I think we got our moneys worth as we paid two rounds of miniature putt and then three rounds of the 1-2 putt. Honestly, I found the miniature putt course EXTREMELY disappointing. It was 9 holes and I would NEVER pay that price in general for just one round. It's super underwhelming and boring to be quite frank. The 1-2 putt on the other hand was super unique and fun as I've never played anything like it before. It's very similar to shuffle board but a fun twist. Again though, I do not think one round is worth $15. To put it in perspective, if there was no line, you'd be able to finish a round of the "9 hole" for literally less than 9 minutes assuming you're in a group of 2. They had great music, clean bathrooms, and plenty of seats. Their drinks were pretty good and decently priced as well. They also had giant connect four and uno which you can borrow for fun. I came here using a Groupon and found it very fun! I think it's perfect for an entertaining and cute date. The employees were very friendly and helpful as they explained to us how everything worked and how to play, and offered to loan us any board games (we weren't interested as most of them were the generic family-friendly ones). The facility was very clean and bright, the noise level was very mild, and there were tons of televisions displaying sports. There was ample seating and it wasn't crowded at all on a Sunday, so you can have a pretty peaceful time here if you go at the right time. It's also a fantastic venue for events or parties. To start our putt putt adventure (shoutout), we headed straight to the bar and grabbed their only cider, which took a while to drizzle out... not a good sign. It was room temperature and flat with no fizz whatsoever. We definitely could have done better getting one of their more popular offerings or a cocktail. They do offer bar food, but we had already eaten. For mini golf, you grab your preference of golf club or putter (kid sizes are available), head to the designated hole #1, review the rules, and go in order from there. You need to wait for parties ahead of you before moving on, so it gets annoying if a group is taking long, though the people around us were trying to be respectful (there's only so much you can do if you have kids). We actually went out of order while waiting around for the group in front of us to move. It's so cute how each hole spells out the name of the business, and each hole is not necessarily more difficult than the last as you move on up. I did enjoy the pacing, regardless. Keep in mind that the final hole, hole #9, eats your ball on most likely your first stroke, so be prepared and don't skip to it! There are small tables for you to put your drinks and stuff on that you should be moving around as you go through the holes. 1-2 putt is basically golf but in pool or shuffleboard format. You shoot your golf ball using this push broom shaped cue stick. I was surprised at how much I liked it - you'll be especially good if you play pool - I actually preferred it over the mini golf. The rules were slightly more complex, but manageable after looking at the play area. Similar to mini golf, your ball gets eaten after hole #9. I'm really happy with my experience and think it's an amazing first or thousandth date (or family outing). Tipsy Putt hosts a unique and comfortable layout, has a fair drink and food selection, fosters friendly and fun competition, and is also adjacent to multiple other businesses to continue your date. The main thing is I'm not too sure if the replayability is there for me, though they have pretty good deals on memberships or daily specials and events that would be of interest to a local. read more

While the room is a little echoing and a bit hard to hear, we had a good time and enjoyed moving through the little golf course. (It's 9 holes that spell out "tipsy putt". We came in the earlier side so there were less people, but by the time we left I could see there was a bit of a wait. Tacos with tortillas, beans rice, chicken/pork/beef, guacamole and some salsas and chips. It was plenty for our group and tasted standard. (I say this as a good thing! The focus isnt the food here, it's nice that it's an option and I was happy to eat it). They have a nice selection of drinks and I'm sure most people could find something they liked. I had a golden state cider and one of their Apperol mocktails. Feels like a great novelty experience, and while I don't know that I'd be interested in coming here often (small course that probably doesn't change much) they do have two types of games so I could see myself coming back to check that out. read more

Tipsy Putt is an indoor bar with several putting/mini-golf holes as well as what I call "tabletop golf". The mini-golf holes were quite cramped playing on them, and not the most fun. I kind of enjoyed the tabletop golf more since it had more novelty, though it still went quickly with ~8 holes if I recall. My company ordered a taco bar as the food, and it was not amazing. The tortillas were pretty dry and the meats were just okay. Typical bar food. I don't drink alcohol, so I have no comments about the alcoholic drinks. My friends and I were looking to do something on a Saturday night. We saw on Yelp and Google that Tipsy Putt opens until 1:30am so we made the decision to come here around 11pm. We wanted some food, but we were told the kitchen was closed. Okay, not a problem, we'll just order some drinks. When the clock hit 11:30pm, we were confused as to why there was last call if the establishment closes at 1:30am. My friends decided to order another beer before the bar closes. By 12:30am, one of the workers straight up told us "We're calling it." Ummm... what? I even pulled out my phone and went on their website to confirm the closing time (1:30am). So basically having patrons of this establishment have to down their drinks so they can close early? That's super dangerous. If we had known they were going to close up shop early, then we wouldn't have bothered to come. I suggest updating the website, Google, AND Yelp to reflect the correct hours. Because this location is located in the Silicon Valley, it can be very busy on a weekend night. Wait times for mini golf can be up to an hour. 1-2 usually has no wait. We did see someone with a giant connect four and admired from afar. If we were going to stay for more than a round, I would have inquired about their games.
