My cousin and I couldn't decide what we wanted to eat, so we came here to figure it out. I like all the variety of food options, and there were also bars. Lots of seating area, including a nice area to eat outside. My cousin tried a few places: On A Roll, Anchors Fish & Chips, and Pasta Fresca. And what we ordered, we didn't love. I think we ordered dishes that just weren't meant for us.

Definitely did not like the area. It's so crowded. Don't try to even park with their App. I got a ticket for trying to pay on the App and it didn't go through. Sure, this place has lots of great area to visit - if you're not driving. Definitely more places/restaurants to explore.

great for bringing out-of-town visitors. The food options are plentiful, but honestly, a lot of them are on the pricey side, and the quality can range from just okay to pretty good. It's more about the overall experience than any one specific restaurant. The ambiance is what really makes this place stand out. It's lively, energetic, and filled with food vendors, dessert spots, bars, and even a barber shop. There's often live music, plenty of people watching, and a fun social atmosphere that makes it easy to spend a few hours here. Parking can be a challenge. You'll usually need to rely on paid garages, metered street parking, or get lucky finding a nearby spot. Once you're there, though, the area is very walkable since parts of the surrounding streets have been closed to vehicle traffic, making it feel more pedestrian-friendly.

San Pedro Square Market is a very cool place to go to for a wide variety of food, dessert, alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks, and live music. Some food options are... Pizza Bocca Lupe Anchors Fish & Chips Phenomenal Noodle House Urban Momo Pasta Fresca It is a popular place so finding seating "could" be an issue depending how big your group is. If you have 2-4 people, then it is much easier in general. Metered street parking and parking garages are nearby. Check them out. You will find something to satisfy your appetite.

A friend recommended I stop by here before a San Jose Sharks game. It was my first hockey game so this whole experience was a new one for me. Parking is $10 in a nearby garage (a popular parking place for an event at SAP center). This market was huge and had so many restaurants. Anything from desserts to drinks and all types of food. Because we were there before a game and it was a Saturday, there were so many people there. One area seemed to be more popular than the other building (where there was a bar). There was also an outdoor area with a live band playing. Food here isn't the best you can find in the city, it just does the job in a pinch. It's a popular place to hang out as well especially for families. Pros: parking is affordable and there's plenty of options for food and drinks. I like the variety there is available. There's something for everyone. Cons: there was plenty of seating but because the sheer amount of people, seating was hard to find.

Food hall Garage parking , Metered parking & Public parking with a fee . Indoor / outdoor dining options. Some of the restaurants here . On a Roll Vietnamese , I'd cafe Indian food , pubs, pizzeria , Anchors seafood , Gemellos Gallery , hand painted art gallery , old spaghetti factory. I can see this would be a great place to mingle with friends / families during nice weather. When I was here it was so cold so we didn't have a chance to sit out to people watch . Check out their webpage to find some future events .

Came to San Pedro square market during the World Cup and had a fun time, but we did wait in line to get in and parking was $20. We ate at Game Day and Anchor's fish and enjoyed the many options. We got matcha ice cream after at the 2nd building in the market. Overall super fun place to come with friends and everyone can order from the many restaurants if they have different food preferences or allergies.

Can't recall the last time I came here... possibly 12 years ago!! It has changed so much, it's bigger and more seatings available. There's security guards everywhere. My friend said they are strict with outside drinks (even water bottle containers). Bars have water stations. Lots of options to choose from. I love the bars and that you can take your drink outside. Too bad it was raining off and on, so we moved to a table inside. Great for large meet ups! We got food from the pizza place and the tacos. Along with the many bars. Good for kids in the daytime. I know at night it gets crowded and rowdy. Pre drinkers come here then to the club, or that was at least in 2008, lol. Parking was under construction but I think 2 hours were free then you pay every half hour. Street parking was better if you constantly go out to update it if over your time limit.

Came to watch a World Cup futbol match in the afternoon. It was very family friendly. Lately the evening games have had a few incidents. So, as with any venue with lots of people, stay alert as to your surroundings.

San Pedro Market is a fun spot to grab dinner and drinks with friends. On a Friday night, the line for the parking garage was insane; I think my friends spent 30 minutes trying to get into the garage and park. I'm glad I was getting dropped off and didn't have do deal with it. If you're coming at a crowded time, I would recommend parking on the street a couple blocks away instead. I saw a couple spots available as we were driving up. The market itself was popping on Friday night, with long lines at a lot of spots. It was my first time here, so first I walked around first to familiarize myself with the options and get a sense of the selection. There are two buildings, so make sure you check out both. The other building felt much quieter and more like a food court, but there was a good amount of seating across both buildings. I chose to get some fried seafood at Anchors as there was no line there and I was starving, so fried seafood and chowder sounded amazing. Got one of the platters with fried fish, shrimp, and scallops from Anchor and it really hit the spot. Only the fries were meh. I expected them to be more flavorful given that they're seasoned, but they weren't. I would also skip the clam chowder next time, as it was some of the blandest clam chowder I've ever had. I loved the vibes here. There was everyone from couples to big groups of friends and everyone looked like they were having a good time.

I absolutely love San Pedro Square Marketplace. The energy, the layout, the food options... Everything is great. It works incredibly well for groups and gatherings because people can wander and grab whatever food sounds good to them and then regroup outside to talk and enjoy the atmosphere and each other's company. There's an impressive variety of vendors. I was hoping to grab a tea at Urban Ritual on my last visit but I was sad to see that they are no longer here. They will be missed but there are still lots of choices so that nobody feels like their options are limited. The outdoor space is great with plenty of seating and it's kept clean. There are sunny spots and shady spots and busier areas great for people watching and calmer areas tucked away for quiet contemplation. It's like a community gathering space and a food hall all-in-one. It's also really dog friendly, outside anyway. I always have my dog with me and it takes the stress away to go somewhere where I know she will be welcome and comfortable. If you need to run inside to order food or use the restroom you can have someone watch your pup but there are also some restrooms outside too if you needed to bring your fur baby with you. Great food options, great atmosphere and one of the better communal spaces I've come across. I definitely recommend I stop here.

The San Pedro Market had a lot of good food selections. This place was clean and inviting and the outdoor eating area is gorgeous. Great place to come with family and friends. Definitely good vibes! This place was like an international mixing pot. It had Vietnamese food, Japanese food, Mexican food, pizza, burgers, fish and chips, mochi donuts, and a few bars for the adults. Right in Downtown San Jose, this place was poppin!

What kind of parking is it all paid, no free 2 hours?

The first 90 minutes are free across the street at the Market & San Pedro Square Garage:…

Do the bands play outside tonight 12/4 Unamaz 6p-9p?

Hi Brenda, this is weather-dependent, but we do anticipate UnaMaz playing outdoors at our Plaza Stage tonight. Thanks!

    Is it dog friendly?

If you have someone that can wait in the outdoor area with your dog while someone goes inside to grab food and drinks, yes. I've always seen a lot of dogs in the main outdoor areas, but I don't think they're allowed inside the stalls.

What days do they have live music?

Will you be showing the Mexico vs USA game tomorrow?

Yes, be sure to come early as this will be a popular match.

Who do I contact about renting out the space for a private party? I don't see any information on the website.

Call the phone # provided with San Jose chamber of commerce, downtown SJ, they will help you , or visit the concierge office there in person.

Is there any live music tonight, Friday night 6/11?

Not tonight, but we do have live music Wednesdays and Thursdays.

For the Thursday evening concerts (which we're attending tonight!), can people bring their own chairs for seating, or do they prefer we use the seating provided by San Pedro Square?

Hello! The Market does not allow outside seating. If you have any special requirements, please ask one of our staff and we will do our best to accomodate you. We look…

Is there WiFi in the open courtyard outside?

    Yes

    Are there vegan options?

I've no doubt many of the places can fix vegan food. Just ask. We toured and got cookies, which were awesome, but the ones we got were NOT vegan. However, they might have had vegan cookies as well, but I don't remember.

Is it open tonight on New Year's Eve? Or any special event/bar it has open?

Unfortunately not, the Market will be closed at 6pm and re-open for business on morning of the second.

Is the market open tonight on Xmas (Dec 25) for dinner?

Greetings Anu B, Unfortunately the entire San Pedro Square Market is closed Christmas day. We will re-open on Thursday 12/26/2019 at 11am. Happy holidays

    Is it busy on Sundays?

Yes! It gets busy after 11

Do they have a live band on Sundays?

    Yes! Sometimes

Anyone know if San Pedro square is going to be showing the ufc fight or pacquio fight to tonight?

    Nope

Just two and a half weeks before the event, I received a text message from the owner saying he had accidentally double booked my date and was asking if I could move the event to another day. I was completely shocked and devastated. I have family traveling from Mexico and Los Angeles, and I've already paid for the caterer, DJ, decorator, cake, and photographer. When you plan an event like this almost a year in advance, it's not something you can just change last minute. He offered to refund my money or try to find another venue, but how could I trust him again after such a huge mistake? I had no choice but to start over and look for another place, which means paying extra fees, delivery charges, and the inconvenience of relocating everything to Gilroy. Because of this, my daughter will no longer have her church ceremony, and that breaks my heart. This experience has been stressful, costly, and deeply disappointing. I'm a little late to the party on this but so glad I was able to experience it this past weekend for a 75th bday celebration. What looks like an unassuming store front among all the other businesses is actually set up to be a place you could commemorate your next big milestone. While the actual space was on the smaller intimate side, Max Capacity is 120 guests-- so you can still have a good amount of folks for a party. Did I mention it includes a red carpet? It was rolled out for all of us upon entering and added that extra bit of glamour to match the occasion. Once inside, I appreciated the white walls and black drapes. There were multiple TV screens thoughtfully placed on the walls to showcase the celebrant. Later on, these same TV screens were used to present a slideshow of the birthday gal. Uplighting was laid out on the ground to lend to the atmosphere. In the middle was a mini stage that could be used for anything from performances to a DJ. The backlit black drapery behind the stage also gave cabaret vibes. From the looks of it, you could opt to bring your own catered food and also use their in house catering. For this specific party, they had both. The star of the food was their baked chicken-- It was tasty and fork tender. If I had to be nitpicky, the bathroom air freshener scent was off-putting. I couldn't wait to get out of there and switched to mouth breathing immediately. Other than that, this is definitely a place to consider for your next event.

The staff at The Glasshouse went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our wedding was flawless. From the very beginning, they were incredibly attentive, helping us with every step of the planning process. On the day of our wedding, the team was professional, warm, and always there when we needed them. Thank you so much to Savanah, Whitney and Oswaldo for all that they do. They made sure everything ran smoothly, so we could relax and enjoy every moment without worrying about a thing. If you're looking for a stunning venue that offers both beauty and impeccable service, we wholeheartedly recommend The Glasshouse! We loved our experience at Glasshouse, and there is one individual that we would like to specifically mention. Our event coordinator, Savanah, was incredible and really made the entire process and day as memorable as can be. From the moment she took over for our previous coordinator, Savanah exceeded all of our expectations and brought a level of dedication, care, and professionalism that made our wedding day unforgettable. Our previous coordinator was nice but often offered empty platitudes. We didn't feel like she really heard our questions or request and would often have to remind her of our previous conversations and agreement, also constantly having to send reminders for updates - she is no longer with the venue. When Savanah took over, it was a huge blessing. We had actually met Savanah prior when we were touring the venue and loved working with her instantly but the event coordination was handled by the previous coordinator at the time. We couldn't be more thrilled to have Savanah take over as our event coordinator. She was personable, responsive, and always available for questions. Savanah's attention to detail, communication, and responsiveness was second to none. She made sure every aspect of our wedding was flawlessly executed, from the smallest decor elements to the smooth coordination of the entire event. It was clear that she not only understood our vision, but also cared deeply about bringing it to life in the best way possible. Beyond her exceptional organizational skills, Savanah's kindness, generosity, and personable character made for a truly exceptional experience. She was always there for us, offering support and coordinating with our wedding coordinators to make sure everything was well thought out and ran smoothly. Her thoughtful approach and genuine care for us made the entire planning process a pleasure. We always felt at ease knowing we had such a competent and compassionate professional in our corner. Our wedding day was everything we had hoped for and more, and we owe so much of that to Savanah. Even after the wedding, she was still checking in on us to make sure everything was what we hoped it would be and even went out of her way to offer us her congratulations. What more can we say to express how much we loved working with Savanah except simply thank you for making our wedding day the best we could have imagined. We are beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to work with you, and we could not recommend you more highly for all to-be-newlyweds. Savanah is a gem, and we will always remember her as an integral part of our special day.

GlassHouse is a beautiful venue with a modern feel that allows one to plan for a great event. But all of that comes with a cost. Dealing with the management who run the place will make your planning a nightmare. My wife and I very recently got married at the GlassHouse. It ended up being a beautiful event and a wonderful party. However what should have been smooth planning turned out not to be due to new management coming in. They caused unwarranted stress, charged additional excessive costs, and ultimately were not pleasant to work with. Right before our wedding, it felt as if they were trying to make it unsuccessful by their actions. We will never forget our wedding. It was a memorable and a once in a lifetime event. Also a once in a lifetime event, and never to happen again, is booking an event with GlassHouse.

There is a huge grassy area where the ceremony was held but it would accommodate several hundred if the parking doesn't run out. The opening in the Redwoods overlooks the South Bay. A large tent was set up on the Terrace where the banquet was held. The event staff was fast and efficient in moving all the chairs from the ceremony to the banquet tables. Not sure if the food was catered or was made from the event kitchen. There is also a separate house across the lane that can be rented and utilized for the wedding party. The food with at was served consisted of Appetizers Crab cakes Mushrooms Vietnamese spring rolls Ceviche Spring mix with a warm egg Salmon with broccoli and potatoes Tri Tip with broccoli and potatoes Dessert S'mores Cannolis There is limited parking so the wedding provided shuttle buses from the bottom of the mountain.

The space itself is beautiful, and the team was incredibly easy to work with. In the week or two leading up to the wedding, I probably called them 7+ times to coordinate payment, ask questions, make last-minute adjustments, and even upgrade our bar package. Every single time, they were kind, patient, and genuinely willing to help us make everything happen. That flexibility made such a difference, especially during such a hectic period. They were also very accommodating with my family and made the entire process feel much easier than it could have been. And I LOVE that events can go until midnight. We absolutely shut down the dance floor, and having that full evening for the reception was such a huge plus. Overall, Villa Ragusa was a beautiful, practical, and affordable option for a large Bay Area wedding, and the team was wonderful to work with. Highly recommend both the venue and the staff.
