So... called to make this appointment for pedis and manis. Took 3 people on the phone to do so; very frustrating. Arrived and was greeted by a lackluster attendant. Went back to pick polish. The girl asked if we would like something to drink. At this point I ordered a chardonnay (she walked away before my daughter could order) After some time, and seeing my glass of wine get warm at the bar area I walked over to ask for it. We were sat for our pedicures. As a former nail tech, it was not good at all. Great disappointment. (i think the best was, as we were almost through with our pedicures the receptionist asked someone "where did the mother daughter go that wanted pedicures" to which she pointed at us to let her know we were already being serviced.) My daughter opted for a manicure as well. It was quite the uncomfortable experience as the tech asked WHY I didn't want a manicure etc. (I simply did not want one, nor did I want to be pressured into one) All said and done the salon used to be a classier, higher end salon which is now run down and dirty. Wine or no wine, the pedicure was substandard and the place was not up to par. Won't be returning. I do not review places unless I want to warn people to stay away! I got a gift card to this salon and thought it would be fun to go with co workers. I got a regular pedi, gel mani and my eyebrows threaded. The only thing that turned out well was the eyebrow threading (the cheapest thing I had done.) I have been battling an infection and possibly the beginning of an ingrown toenail since the pedicure. I don't know if their tools weren't clean but she definitely cut my nail at an angle in the corner (a really obvious no no unless you want ingrown toe nails.) On to the manicure. I have had gel manicures other places and loved them because it was multiple weeks before my nails needed to be redone. This manicure started pealing off near my cuticles 7 days after. It was so annoying because my nails constantly got caught in my hair. I will not be returning to this salon. If they are going to charge so much they should at least do an excellent job. read more

I've gone to Tipsy about 3 times now and each nail tech has paid attention to detail making sure the tips are angled properly and they're all the right length. Zunami is my favorite nail girl there! Always does a fabulous job! read more

I have had my nails and hair done at Tipsy and have been very satisfied every time. Nicole has been very helpful with coloring, hair extensions, and cutting. She knows how to capture exactly what I am envisioning. Jason is FANTASTIC with nails. I'm rocking a pink ombré, coffin-cut style of his as I type. I will definitely continue to return. I was in need of making a major change with my hair style, but not familiar with any hair salons nearby. I remember watching others get their hair done at Tipsy while I was getting pedicures. The stylists looked like they knew what they were doing and I didn't see anyone with a bad hair style, so I figured I'd give them a try. It was easy to make an appointment and they were able to match me up with a stylist familiar with the look I was going for. My stylist Angela was very patient with me! She took the time to have a consultation to make sure she understood what I wanted. She took her time washing my hair/massaging my head, which is always nice! As such cut about 6 inches off my hair, I was still unsure whether I should go shorter or not. Again, she was very patient with my indecisiveness. Eventually as she was finishing styling, I decided that I did want to go a couple inches shorter. Even as I apologized for being such a pain, she assured me it was no problem at all. She finished the cut to my liking, which is always good! On a different note, she was very personable, while not being over the top or gossipy. While the cut and style was very pricey ($60), they do Groupons occasionally, and for the big change that I was making I would definitely say it was worth it! read more

As a background, I haven't gotten a pedicure in 2 years maybe? Not that I needed to get one, it was more of a social activity with friends. I'll just say, I left with sandpaper, skinned up (sore), rough feet AND short short short nails. My feet were well kept, soft, exfoliated before & I left with scrapped up sand paper feet, my boyfriend was actually applauded lol. I currently have Vaseline smothered & socks on to soak up moisture because they are dried out. Seemed like a cool place but won't go there again. I didn't even get asked to turn on massage chair, I asked my friends instead. Honestly, this is why I don't get pedicures. read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. We took my 15 year old daughter in for a hair trim on Sunday 12/8/2019. Her appointment was made over the phone by my wife. She was told over the phone that the cost would be 25 to 40 dollars and that she would be seen by a stylist named Carol. Well, earlier on Sunday, we were called and asked if we could switch the appointment to later in the day. it was supposed to be 1PM, something came up on their end, and people called out, they wanted us to come in at 3. We said, sure. So at 3 we go in and were told that Carol wasn't there, in fact she NEVER works on Sundays. There's confusing issue #1. Whatever, we took the stylist that was working. A gentleman named, I think, Ramon. My daughter got her haircut and we were ready to leave. The front desk associate said it would be $65. We said what about the 25 to 40 we were quoted. The front desk guy then got extremely rude, said we were never told that and called us liars. Said "well the best I can do is $60". This place is a scam and I'll #1 never spend another dollar there and #2 tell everyone I know what a racket they are running. read more

I've gone to Tipsy regularly since it's opened at this location. Yesterday was the worst service that I've ever received there. I went for a basic mani and pedi and it was beyond basic!!! The girl was awful! She didn't massage or use lotion during my manicure , didn't cut the cuticles, and used 1 coat of polish so the color is super see through. The pedicure water was cold and the pedicure service was beyond mediocre with a very limited massage of the legs or feet. I told the receptionist when I was checking out and she didn't even apologize- the owner/ manager was standing right at the counter and he purposely looked away at Nostradamus of asking me about the poor service. As a long time loyal customer I'm very disappointed in the e rite experience including the treatment by the front desk and the owner/manager. I've never had a bad experience in this salon - but this was by far the worst basic mani & pedi I've ever received. Super disappointed read more

You definitely have to get a good stylist when you go here as the expertise varies. The last time we went, bleach was applied without notifying which led to a bunch of broken hair. Also, the prices have been creeping up steadily this last year. We have had to dispute charges for services not performed or was told one price and it ended up being a higher price. I recently moved to Jupiter and went to this salon once and had a great experience. I had another appointment today. I even received a voicemail yesterday at 4:30pm to confirm my 9am appointment. When I showed up the reception person couldn't find my appointment. I told her the details that I had a 9am with Lauren. She proceeds to tell me "ohh yesterday was her last day and the owner deleted her out of the computer. That is why I don't have your appointment." That is a horrible way to run a business and I will never go back to this salon for that reason. I would have given five stars if Heidi did my refill. She was amazing with my eyebrows and pedicure. Unfortunately, I had to wait almost an hour for "Bebe" to do my ACRYLIC REFILL WITH WHITE POLISH. No design. Nothing special ... Took her two hours and $40 to continue to mess up and redo a million times. Just for me to walk out upset and never wanting to return. I'm on vacation, originally from Philly and I have NEVER had an issue with the multiple nail salons I have been too. I've gotten gel manicures and regular pedicures here a few times and have been very happy with all of my services. I usually get french on my nails and every time they have lasted me at least 2 weeks and I only went back to get them redone because my nails were getting too long! The pedicures have been great and they spent some extra time really focusing on the rough spots that many other places just quickly pass over. I even went back a day later because I scuffed my big toe before it was dry and they redid it for me for free. Also, you can't beat the $20 special they run during the week! My last two appointments here have not been great and I spent nearly two hours, both appointments for a mani pedi. The first appointment no one greeted my friend and I. We waited approximately 3 minutes before one of the two people at the desk asked us what we were here for, despite already signing in. My friend and I both got gel manicures where her manicure lasted 15 minutes, mine reaching 40. My most recent trip I had a nail tech named Tina. She is very nice. My friend requested a specific nail tech, the receptionist informed Tina who was to work on my friend, the nail tech herself informed her but she started working on her instead of me. When she was finally working on me, my gel manicure that should be 15-20 minutes turned into an hour. We sat down at 4:35, we got up to get our pedicures at 5:35. She put on 5 coats of nail polish and was consistently cleaning the edges. When she was done I had nail polish still on my skin and the layers created a thickness of nail polish on my nail. When we were doing our pedicures, my friend had to have someone different do her toes because they overbooked her nail tech that was requested for this appointment. The massage chairs either have broken handles for the remote to stay on the arm rest or unvelcro velcro. My nail tech, Tina, again put layers and layers of nail polish on my toes. My friend did not get someone to do her nails until 15 minutes later. A kind woman came into our section, sat down to get a pedicure and had been waiting 15-20 minutes. My nail tech attempted to leave me prior to putting polish on to go get started on the woman. The woman told her no and that she was leaving as this was taking too long and no one had been by to help her. When I got home from the appointment, I noticed 4 hours later that the polish on my big toe is still MOVING! There had been so many layers of nail polish that there were ripples of paint on my toe and that I could physically take my finger and push the polish side to side. This place is the most expensive place that i have gotten my nails done. At first going there used to be fun and inviting, now it seems to have gotten worse every time I go there. read more

Horrible company and no procedure for employee accidents. I scheduled to get a full set. The poor girl doing my nails, accidentally got super glue into her eyeball. I tried helping her but had the first stages of nails put on so I couldn't do much. I yelled for anybody to help. The other employees and manager just stared at me. I brought her to the doctor in the plaza. Which couldn't help her. Nobody inside tipsy would help her or me. I ended up having to tell my friends whom I went there with to leave cause by the time I got done helping the girl my friends where done with there services. I had to find a ride later to my car. NOBODY apologized or comped my traumatizing service. I sure hope the girl is ok. Horrible place to work... Everybody in that place should have helped her. Only I did. So sad. read more

This place treats their employees like crap. They follow no protocols for injuries and always blame employee. Like that fancy pedicure you are getting? You know, then one with the nice smelling botanical scrubs and lotions? While they charge the customer a high price they are also taking an extra $5 out of their checks to pay for it. WTF??? How do I know this? I am friends and client of some of the workers. Charging your employees to have someone clean your shop is ridiculous. You should be ashamed of yourself. read more

Their nail staff is constantly new. Had a horrible pedicure here last year and got a raging fungal infection. They do not use soap in the water unless you request it and dig at your nails like they have no experience. I stopped getting any nail work here at all last year. However, I do still get my hair done here. That may change soon as well. Their new manager smells of smoke and smokes out front of the entrance. Then she marches up and down the salon scowling and barking orders at the hairdressers. When you are going to a salon to relax, unwind, and drop a couple hundred, you certainly do not want Hitler to be there! read more

Always enjoyed the extra service and ambiance but this location has changed dramatically in the past few years. One main draw is a relaxing atmosphere where you can enjoy a glass of wine but they don't even ask you if you want one anymore. Final straw was this week when I went in for a pedicure and the man who was doing my pedicure pulled out a plastic box full of instruments and started to cut my nails. I had to ask him to get a plastic pouch with sterilized instruments, he didn't understand me so I had to tell the girl next to me and she informed him.
