I love Tipsy because all of them are consistent. Great and big portions, awesome service. The spot in Greer has a huge sit down area and bar area. I have been to Tipsy Taco for lunch several times and decided to bring my wife for drinks and food on a Saturday afternoon. This is a really big restaurant with a cool bar venue. My wife and I always like the bar. Well, Ms Abbi did not disappoint us. She provided five star service. The salsa is made in the restaurant (I asked) and the avocado dip had a unique but good flavor. Both very good. I got three different shrimp tacos on soft shell and my wife got three veggie tacos. All were delicious. Thanks Ms Abbi for making our afternoon date time very special. read more

The only bad thing about this experience was the flies. We were seated in the enclosed seating area. It was nice but the flies we a pain. They apparently liked the food too. My friend said the Seoul city was a great combination of pork, sweet and tangy. I had the Gimme Some 'Shrooms and I really liked it. It has a great flavor. It would get it again. I also had the Drunken Piggy. The pineapple habanero sauce was amazing. So so good. My friend also had the Carne Asada. He was a little disappointed and said it was ok. We had a party of 6 and the server was very nice. she was patient and the only thing I would say is that she did not accurately describe the taco size. we asked her how but they were and she described it folded up not the entire taco tortilla size which obviously is smaller folded up so our entire table ordered more than we needed to. We ordered salsa which was mostly tomatoes cubed and watery and then the queso was like canned cheese tasting. The tacos themselves were not the best the cheese is the same thing as the queso dip which i thought would be fresh mexican cheese. My tacos were the blue cheese ones and they were not the greatest but not horrible. the rest of my party said some of their tacos were hard to eat. overall I feel like i've been spoiled due to the fact willy taco in spartanburg, boiling springs and greenville is 100% better than this and honestly this is like a great value version. SO anyways i recommend that this place is good for drinks my piña colada was amazing ! but not the greatest tacos. Also I did want to mention that they have a outdoor patio area that's covered BUT still gets chilly and I say this because when we said our party was of 6 they automatically seated us there without asking us if we were okay on the outdoor patio and most restaurants do ask. so that's something you want to keep in mind. I heard really great things about Tipsy Taco and saw this new location so we decided to eat here for lunch on a whim. The building is unique and has an outdoor patio seating as well as indoor seating and a huge window that opens up at the bar. This place is huge! We came by on a Monday afternoon looking for lunch so there was no wait. It seemed to have a decent amount of people inside. We started off with a flight of the margaritas. I'm not sure what it was but we didn't really enjoy the margaritas. The jalapeño one was awful haha but I have more of a sweet tooth. We started off with some quest with the chorizo. It was the perfect consistency; however, the tortilla chips were flimsy as could be and were barely able to withstand the queso. We also got the chicken tortilla soup. I wasn't impressed, it tasted bland and came with way too much tortilla and pick on top and not enough soup. I originally said there was barely any chicken in the soup but my boyfriend found a huge chunk of chicken at the bottom. I would have preferred it to be more consistent throughout lol but whatever works! He liked it though. We also ordered the elote off the cob (we were feeling lazy lol) but I think the elote was for sure the most disappointing part. It was super dry and came with a mere sprinkle of cotija cheese. I like my elote smothered in sauce and cheese lol. Don't get the elote, not worth. My boyfriend ordered the pork tamales. Those were actually pretty good! It also came with a nice side of guacamole, sour cream and this really good apple salsa relish type thing that I really liked. I ordered a taco, can't remember which, in a lettuce wrap. Was not very good, but I slathered it with the side that my boyfriend got with his tamales which made it much better! The taco selection was actually not great and was pretty basic. I was not impressed with the variety compared to other taco restaurants, and nothing stood out to me. However, if you're in the mood for queso and tamales, swing on by! Cost altogether for I think $60. We ordered quite a bit but I thought it was overpriced and not as satisfying. In my opinion, overrated. I'd rather go to a different taco joint for taco selection and variety. Also, I know this location is new, but I think the wait staff could be a little more helpful with selection. very very underwhelmed.. First, it took a bit long to be greeted by the server. She asked if either of us have ever been before then said "okay what can I get you" after stating we hadn't been before. They also were out of 80% of the frozen drinks. When the food came, they delivered the completely wrong item, a quesadilla when he ordered fajitas. My boyfriend has a serve dairy allergy & informed the server when ordering. My food (picture attached) was not up to par. The street taco was dripping in grease & had no flavor. I had to keep the hot sauce bottle in my hand to drown the taco in it to give it some flavor. The other taco also was not good & broke after one bite- leaving my plate a mess of ingredients. The "elotes" / street corn were horrible to say the least- it was simply a bowl of buttered corn with a sprinkle of cheese on top. I will say I am a harsh critic of elotes but these were just unacceptable. Finally, we were randomly delivered sopapillas because "we were first time guests". Again, the server was aware of my boyfriends allergy and the sopapillas were covered in milk chocolate and ice cream. It would've been fine if it was actually a gift but then it was on the check! Kinda rude to charge guests for a dessert they didn't ask for and one couldn't even eat. We didn't even bother asking for it to be taken off- it wasn't worth the energy. The place is quite spacious, and has several televisions broadcasting various sporting events in just about every direction one looks. However, we just weren't "wowed" by the experience, overall. The food wasn't bad, but we did think it was a touch overpriced for what it was. And, unlike every other Mexican themed place we have eaten, there is a charge for chips and salsa here. The margaritas tasted like they had out of date apple juice in them for some reason.
