Always a great time with attentive service. An extensive menu that's easily navigated with just about everything you could want from a Mexican food restaurant. Great prices and the chips and salsa are always a hit with the mild and spicy option.. personally I like to mix them. Consistently great! I think my in-laws come here at least once a week! read more

Very, very noisy with the loud music, TV on, and loud conversation nearby. I ordered the fajitas which were served on the same plate with rice, very salty beans, shredded lettuce, and maybe a tablespoon of guacamole. My husband ordered the chili relleno and taco lunch plate. He stated the taco was "fine but the very small chili relleno is cold inside " Service was good, but we would NOT return to eat here again. First time customer - ordered a la carte. Bill reflected wrong pricing. After pointing out the error - bill was adjusted, but still overcharged. Next up - charged 3.5% for using credit card (steep percentage especially since VISA merchant doesn't even charge that percentage). Restaurant is simply looking to take your money. With our daughter and grandson visiting from out of state, we decided to tryout Cancun's Mexican Restaurant for the first time. Big mistake! Started out well with fresh chips and good salsa until the waiter took our order without writing it down, and it went downhill quickly. When the food was brought to the table my Daughter's entree was wrong. We tried to get the attention of the waiter, but he was too busy eating his food at another table, purposely ignoring us. Finally he came to our table at his convenience to ask what the issue was and made the correction. My daughter's Chicken tacos were bland and under seasoned as well as her rice and beans. My order was a beef and chicken enchilada. The beef enchilada consisted of very lightly seasoned fried ground beef and an extremely bland tomato sauce draping the outside. The Chicken enchilada filling was not quite as bland to me as the beef filling although it had the same bland sauce as the beef draped over the top. I could only eat 1 bite of each enchilada and left the rest there. My husband did eat his beef fajita tacos which were decently seasoned. Making things worse, the service was extremely poor. Waiter NEVER revisited our table to inquire if the food was fine, if we would like another drink, a refill, or desert...??? We had to flag him down if we needed anything, including the check. I did notice that he did wait and inquire at the table next to us, refilling their drinks, even though we came into the restaurant 20 minutes before they did. Actually, when we came in, there was only one other couple sitting in the restaurant. By the time we left, at least 4 or 5 other tables were filled. My Take: This is a Mexican restaurant, it SHOULD be adequately seasoned and have some replication of what Mexican food should taste like. The Waiter should always make an effort to inquire about their customer's satisfaction on the food and/or any other requests and definitely NOT be found sitting and eating his food while their customer IS WITHOUT!!! Last but not least, this is a neighborhood restaurant and I believe he was also the owner or at the least a manager. He should have projected excellent customer service for those working under him. Since moving to Easley, we drive by this restaurant almost everyday and are always curious about it. Not anymore. I will check out other local Mexican food restaurants to take our family and friends. I would rather drive to Greenville if I had to. Did we leave a tip??, Absolutely Not!! read more

Went to Cancun Mexican restaurant for the first with my wife and some friends. The service was prompt and courteous although you can tell they are new as our food arrived and we had no silverware. I had Ceviche which was shown as a main course. I have had ceviche many times through the years-some as an appetizer and some as a main. This was an appetizer portion. It was one of the better ceviches I have had but much too small. My wife got the fajitas and wasn't able to finish it so I ended up eating her leftovers. Will go again. read more

I would give this place a zero rating if it was a choice. It was the most tasteless mexican food I've ever had. The rice was dry and clumpie and the refried beans were the runniest I've ever had - and again tasteless. The burrito was made with flavorless ground beef and nothing else. The salsa is something that is pureed and they use it to dip your chips in and they pour it over everything. i don't know what kind of cheese they put in the cheese enchilada, it was an unrecognizable texture and flavor. To add insult to injury, they charge a 3.5% covid recovery fee if use a debit or charge card in addition to a hospitality charge that everyone is charged. There's a reason this place is nearly empty. I got seated around 6:10 and got asked what we wanted to drink around 6:40, we were patient because we love the place, but it is very short staffed and I don't plan on going back around 6, maybe around 3 is recommended. read more
