As fate would have it, I took the car to the dealership for a recall and they discovered that one of the tires had a small bubble. I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to celebrate almost two years with the car by treating her to some new tires. I reached out to Chris who quoted me $1,200 (including manufacture warranty) for four thick profiled performance tires, which was $1,300 cheaper than the quote that I received from the dealer. Chris quickly placed the order for the tires and called me the next day to inform me that they had arrived. Since the establishment is generally very busy on the weekends, I decided to visit on a weekday in hopes for a quicker experience. Thankfully, there was only one car ahead of me when I arrived. Chris instructed me to pull the car into the shop and immediately began removing the tires (I'm always impressed by a hands-on owner). Less than 30 minutes later, the job was done and I was in the office checking out. As Chris implied, I can confirm that the ride quality of my car has significantly improved. I have been a customer for seven years and have referred many friends and family to the shop. I'm not claiming the shop caused the problem, but mistakes can happen during any service. Tire installations and rotations involve human work, and I expected at least a basic inspection when a new noise appeared immediately after the service. Instead, my concerns were dismissed. As a customer, it's frustrating to leave wondering whether the vehicle is safe to drive and feeling like no effort was made to investigate the issue. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this shop. Don't go here please go across the street your safety is very important!!!!! Thank you for your response. To clarify, my concern was never that a tire rotation requires disassembly of suspension or steering components. My concern was that a knocking noise appeared immediately after the tire installation and rotation, despite the vehicle not exhibiting this symptom beforehand. I did not ask for a free suspension diagnosis. I asked that the shop verify the work that had just been performed. As a customer, I expected basic checks such as wheel torque, wheel seating, and tire clearance before being directed toward a paid diagnostic service. Had someone simply said, "Let's double-check our work first and make sure everything related to the tire service looks correct," I likely would have had a very different impression of the experience. I understand that the noise may ultimately be unrelated to the tire service. However, when a new symptom appears immediately after service, I believe it is reasonable for a customer to expect the work performed to be verified before additional charges are discussed. Taking that advice at face value, I spent the money on a brand-new set of factory replacement rims. Ironically, those new rims were improperly mounted, resulting in a vibration that wasn't there before. So my solution to a balancing problem was... another balancing problem. Fast forward to this visit. I brought in my spare wheel to have a new tire mounted. Simple enough. I returned the next day expecting to pick it up, at which point Justin informed me there was "a problem." It turns out my wheel had apparently gone home with another customer. I paused for a moment, assuming the punchline was coming. Instead, I was offered a black wheel as a replacement. The trouble is, I'd previously spent good money buying matching factory silver rims, so introducing one black wheel into the family felt a bit like replacing a missing tuxedo shoe with a flip-flop. Curious, I asked how this could happen if every wheel is tagged with customer information. I was assured they are. So naturally I asked how mine ended up with someone else. The answer was refreshingly concise: "I don't know." I suggested perhaps calling the customer who had accidentally driven away with my wheel. After all, if every wheel is tagged, surely there would be a record of who received it. That seemed like a reasonable plot twist, but nothing came of it while I was there. The result? I use my truck to haul my bikes on weekend rides, and without a proper spare I decided not to risk it. Weekend canceled. Then came the equally enjoyable task of explaining to my wife why our matching spare had vanished and why the proposed solution was a black wheel that wasn't ours. If you've ever tried explaining that sentence out loud, you'll appreciate how little sense it makes. To the store's credit, they called Saturday to say the other customer had returned my wheel. I genuinely appreciate that. Unfortunately, they were closing before I could get there, so the damage, in terms of lost plans and unnecessary frustration had already been done. Everyone makes mistakes. Losing a customer's wheel isn't ideal, but it can happen. What left me scratching my head was that the systems designed to prevent exactly this scenario didn't seem to prevent it, and no one could really explain how it happened. Honestly, I'm left wondering what adventure awaits on visit number four or five or whatever it is. I'm not eager to find out.

The guy looked at the tire and refused to plug it, saying the screw and the hole were too large and that I needed a NEW TIRE. Keep in mind, this is a tire on a set I had only purchased about 5 months ago. I ended up taking it to my normal tire shop, where they pulled the screw out, plugged the tire with no problem, and did it for free. I understand that sometimes a tire may genuinely be unsafe to repair, but in this case, I was given a completely different answer by another shop that has taken care of my tires before. Based on my experience, I won't be coming back here.

He inspected them and showed me how each one was clean, dry, and completely fine. He then inspected the rest of the engine compartment and the undercarriage and showed me that it was all in great shape. Finally, he noticed that a previous mechanic had removed the plastic shroud for my front wheel wells and failed to install new clips to secure the shroud afterward. I had wondered about the gap he noticed for years, but I didn't realize it was anything other than wear and tear. He replaced the clips for no extra charge. I know it seems like a small thing, but to me, it speaks clearly to Roland's character: I believe he genuinely cares about doing right by his customers and taking good care of their cars. When I asked him about some issues with electronic parts on my car (e.g. a digital dashboard display), he let me know that his area of focus was mechanical service and advised me to take my car to an electrical auto shop. I was grateful that he knew the limits of his expertise, communicated them clearly, and stuck to them. I felt his quoted price was quite reasonable, and even after he performed more work than requested (still within about a 1-hour time slot), he stuck to his original price quote. I am very happy with the service he provided and the price I paid! I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

He spent 40 minutes prying at different parts and trying to forcefully remove my fuse box to get to the 100A fusible link that I had to tell him was located beneath and the assembly had to be unbolted to get to it from underneath. After 40 minutes of painfully watching him attempt to force things open. I politely asked him to stop as it was obvious he didn't know what he was doing and broke a few components off my housing. I tried calling him to let him know of the damages. He denied responsibility and said he was only at my house for 5 minutes. He told me to never contact him again and failed to respond to the before and after photos I sent. Do not trust this shady business. What went from a lb easy replacement of a 100A that I could have done myself but did not have the time to do so, resulted in several hundred dollars of parts in addition to more for labor due to gross incompetence. DO NOT TRUST HIM!

I drive a Honda Accord SE when it was time to buy tires (2354518 Goodyear) I called the big tire companies (Goodyear, American Tire and Les Schwab) the prices they were quoting me were RIDICULOUS ($700 for Goodyears)! I decided to check Yelp out, I came across Tire & Wheel Zone. I called and spoke to David, he quoted me $299 for non name brands and $479 for Goodyears! Not only was Tire & Wheel Zone $200 cheaper than the big tire companies, that price included install, mounting/balancing + free tire rotation + warranty AND free flat repair! I was sold! When I got there, the shop was a little busy but David greeted me and got my car in within 10 min. David and his team were working hard and I was on my way 30 minutes later with my brand new Goodyear tires! This is the place to go for great deals on tires and fast and efficient service! The guy working the front desk brought down a tire saying the tire I'm looking for is a little bigger than what he showed me.i agreed to the size and the price of $300 mount and install for my rear tires. That was a little more than I wanted to spend but agreed anyways. I left them with freshly powered coated wheels and ran a few errands and came back to pick up. He then said he had to order the tires and then had me fill out a contract with agreed price and told me to come back at the end of the day. Little upset that the tires weren't ready and now I had to travel back to my place about 45 min away and come all the way back. I drove off and looked at the contract to price match the tires. Looked like I could've ordered for about 90$ each. So mount and balance was another 60$ each which is pretty steep. I turned around and talked to him and wanted to cancel my order due to the price and traveling back and forth. He said he couldn't do it because he already ordered the tires. Pretty pissed he couldn't cancel and let him know but since I signed the contract I decided to come back later. My wife works on the way to their shop and she picked up for me the following Monday. She bought them to me later. I noticed not a single weight has been put on either wheel. So the tires weren't balanced. Had another shop balance for me. DO NOT GO HERE!!! You won't get a deal, they will lead you on. They will not complete the job they are supposed to do!

They really don't care about my road safety I guess... 2/23 edit: went to an honest tire shop and they told me the side wall is damaged, meaning the tire was flattened before and it's not worth $60. I'll make it 2 star instead of 1 because it's not a complete scam but still a scam as they didn't tell me before hand and they have very bad attitude.

This was all done in my own driveway thanks to the mobile service To top it off, i had purchased the wrong TPMS sensors entirely and had to replace them. This required pulling four wheels, dismounting tires, swapping sensors, and re-programming the whole deal. 1 STAR -- EXTREMELY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH APEX AUTO -- COLIN & USMAN…read more My experience with Apex Auto, specifically Colin and Usman, has been absolutely terrible. I brought my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee in because I was looking to address what I believed was a transfer case issue. After their diagnosis, suddenly I was being told about numerous other major problems. What started with the transfer case turned into extensive repairs, including major engine work. My warranty company has already paid Apex Auto somewhere in the range of $8,000 for repairs to my Jeep. After all of that money and all of that work, the underlying problem ultimately turned out to be electrical. What concerns me even more is the quality of some of the work. At one point, my fuel/gas line was secured with a ZIP TIE. That line came loose multiple times, which created what I believe was a very dangerous situation. After getting my Jeep back, I now have oil leaking from THREE different areas. I have also discovered loose bolts, and I am concerned that seals or gaskets associated with the work they performed may not have been properly installed or tightened. Now my Jeep is BACK IN THE SHOP AGAIN. After Apex Auto has already received approximately $8,000 from my warranty company, their solution is for me to bring the Jeep back so they can run more work through my warranty. At this point, why would I feel comfortable continuing to let the same shop work on my vehicle and charge my warranty when I am still dealing with problems after thousands of dollars in repairs? I came to Apex Auto trying to get my Jeep repaired. Instead, I have dealt with extensive repairs, repeated problems, a fuel line coming loose, loose bolts, multiple oil leaks, and my vehicle being back in the shop. Based on my personal experience dealing specifically with Colin and Usman at Apex Auto, I absolutely cannot recommend this shop. I strongly suggest anyone considering major repairs here get a second opinion before authorizing the work, document everything, and thoroughly inspect the vehicle afterward. Nearly $8,000 in warranty repairs later, my Jeep should NOT be in this condition.
