OMG! I just had the best experience from a tire shop ever! Went in for a wheel alignment. They quickly had my car up on the rack. Plugged and mounted all the sensors. Inspected every thing. The car was off the rack in 10 minutes. I went to pay, and the friendly man said every thing was already in alignment and didn't charge me anything. Wow! Talk about great customer service. My 1st real introduction to Tire Central was back in 08/08/2009 when I wore out the treads on my, Nitto 555 tires, due to neg. camber. I was stuck in the parking lot of my church's meeting hall when I conducted an internet search on my PC phone for the closes tire store. Needless to say I found Tire Central and asked for a quote & stock check of Nitto replacements. They only had 1 in stock, but highly recommended Falken 452's as a safe comparison. They explained that if I was willing to spend a little less money and have a smoother ride and not want to feel too much of the road as the nitto's offer then they had 4 of those in stock. Skeptical as I was I called AAA to flat bed my MKZ to Tire Central. I have to say that though the place is a hole in the wall warehouse style operation, the tech's at Tire Central were cool, informative & professional and the manager Donald was exemplary of the same. The Falken 452's prove to be a gem and exactly what my MKZ called for. What I received in road noise and complete handling and feel of the road from my Nitto's, I got rid of the noise and have less of a complete feel of the road. Now, that complete feel of the road comment is not a bad thing whatsoever, because the handling is still great, but if that's my only sacrifice... I'm good! Thanks Don and Tire Central. This review is long overdue. I just purchased my third set of tires from Tire Central. I've dealt with both Donald and Alan and they have gone above and beyond for me. Two of my purchases required them to order my tires as they did not have them in stock. Both times the tires were there when I showed up and installation was quick and flawless. One time Alan even recommended a restaurant to eat at while my tires were being installed and the restaurant was great! And lastly, their prices on the tires I have purchased could not be beat. Literally, at the last minute when they were late to go to a wedding, i pleaded with the guy at the front desk because i needed my minivan for a day out for my mom's birthday the next morning. He ended up taking my van at closing time. I gave the mexican guy that put on my tires $10 tip for working over because of me. The best and only place for your tire needs. They have very competitive prices and the staff works hard on finding you the best deals possible. Ever since I was recommended to this place by a friend, I have always been coming here for whatever I needed done with my tires. They also have a nice waiting room for you to sit in stocked with lots of magazines. The service guys are also friendly people that don't mind when you watch them work. I was on vacation traveling with my family and our car was packed. I observed a screw in my left rear tire. I could see on the vehicles instrument panel that I was losing air in my tire. I found this shop on yelp and it had excellent reviews. When I arrived, I observed the shop was extremely busy, but they fit us in. They guy at the service counter told me the wait was approximately 30 minutes. I had lunch with the family outside, and within 30 minutes of they where done. I went to the counter to pay and the gentleman said, keys are in the car. I got out my wallet and he said, no charge. I was taken back by this because I wanted to pay. He said no it's okay. I couldn't believe this, as I've never had this type of friendly customer service at a tire shop. I went outside and saw the technician next to my car. I asked if I could see the screw. It was almost 2 inches long. I thanked the technician for his service for taking car of my car. This tire shop service is outstanding, and staff are extremely friendly. Thanks for the help guys!! only place i would trust to handle my car. tire central knows how to handle tires of any kinds. i stretch my tires and other tire places have either scratched my rims or break beads trying to mount but tire central does it like nothing. prices are the best around along with their customer service. A mother of 2 kids. Safe driving is above everything. My car's tire keep deflated overnight. I brought my car into Tire Central to have them help me take a look at it. They were quickly take my name and number, and asked me to wait up to 45 minutes since they were busy. After 50 minutes, my name was called and told me there were nail in my tire, and it was fixed. Best of all its free of charge. I was at other places before where they will charge you for a quick fix or suggest you to buy new tires. Came here because my run flat was leaking air and hoping that they could patch it. Alan there was very helpful and was upfront about everything. No they didn't patch tires though he would gladly look at it, and I should go to LT Auto to get it fixed instead (down a couple blocks). He also said that run flats shouldn't be patched but gave me a good pro and con of doing it. I'm at LT auto right now getting the tire patched at a reasonable price for my 328i. Definitely coming here when I need new tires because I feel I can trust these guys. read more

I went there wth my car...charges a great deal for run-flat tires. so instead i went to Alan, who was able to help me touch up the tires and even lended me one of his older run flat tires to help me out, so he essentially saved me $400-500 bucks. Came home last night with the tire pressure light illuminated on the dash. I checked all of the tires before coming into the house, and they seemed okay. This morning I went out to find out the reason the light came on but instead found the left front to be flat. I located this business and decided to pump the tire by hand and try to drive there before the air leaked out. They were extremely friendly but busy. I asked if they could fix the flat and rotate the tires. Half hour later they were done. I checked my wallet to see if I could pay cash rather than credit card. The gentleman behind the counter indicated, "It's a free service to our customers." Now I know where I am going to purchase new tires for my car. This is old fashioned service at its best! read more

I'm SOOO not the type to write reviews, but what happened to me yesterday pushed me over the edge: I came here about a month or so ago to get some tires installed on my car. I should've been tipped off then because, while I was there, another customer was muttering to his wife about how the guys were "over-tightening" his screws (or whatever you call them) on his car. But he never spoke up so I didn't pay much attention. Then last night I realized my front driver-side tire was shredded, which makes me suspicious about the quality of tires that this place sells. Although I won't go as far as to blame them (I blame the manufacturer) but a defective tire is not a pleasant experience no matter whose fault it is. I called AAA and the service guy began trying to change the tire. I say "try" because the screws wouldn't come off! He told me that whoever installed the tire "overtightened" (that dreaded word again!). He explained to me that, typically, rust on the screws is the reason why it's hard to get them off. But, on mine, he could tell that it was simply because of over-tightening because, get this, there was a crack on my rims!! Granted, it was small enough that I hadn't noticed it until he pointed it out, but still!! He said that when an installer over-tightens, alloy rims can crack. I was livid! Not only did they sell me a defective tire, but they also installed it improperly (what if I was stranded and had to change the tire myself? I'd be screwed!), and cracked my rim to boot!. The guy was ultimately able to change my tire, thank goodness, and taught me a valuable lesson too. So, yes, their prices are great...but pointless when you rack up all the costs and grief of replacing defective tires and cracked rims. I ended up going to another tire place around the same area---they were just as nice and their prices were just as good (actually $10 cheaper). I don't want to name names here because I'm not sure if that's proper Yelp etiquette. But just know that this place is NOT the cheapest or best place around! Sigh, that feels better. Came here based on the 5 star rating and was not disappointed! There was an issue with one of the tires I ordered and I had to wait a bit longer than the estimated time. They immediately notified me of the issue, had a new tire brought over from the warehouse and gave me a discount for the trouble WITHOUT me even asking for it.
