Came in for a last minute tire patch. Technician immediately noticed the structural integrity of the tire was compromised due to me driving excessively on the tire while flat. Let me preface by saying I'm not mechanically inclined, I'm an RN. So I rely on shops to do a good job and do things correctly. I bought wheels online and brought them here to be mounted onto my car. Well turns out they weren't the right size and didn't fit. So they put my original wheels back on and off I go to exchange the wheels for ones that will fit, and the company won't grant me an exchange even tho they sent me the wrong wheels and they don't fit, because this tire shop damaged the wheels so badly when they put tires on them! So I'm out $1000 dollars and this shop charged me full price by the way.. so I have to look into what legal action I can take as I am out $1000 on the wrong wheels and I paid them $80 to damage my new wheels. How does this shop have 5 stars??? Don't come here and they won't help you if this happens to you. 0 stars and hopefully a lawsuit to get some peace of mind. See the pictures I attached, oh and if you buy wheels online look at the size of the wheel they send on the box and make sure it's the right size before you put tires on them or you lose money like I did, because shops like this won't check the box for you, even tho they're a professional shop and you're just a nurse who's excited to put some nice wheels on your car. read more

I needed only 1 used run flat tire since my current 1 tire got a leak that was not repairable, which I got only 1 year ago from another tire business that turn out not to be very honest with their used tires and no receipt given. Central Tire had 2 used tires that fit my car and give me a good deal on 1 tire, but then I decided to get both when I got there and since it was such a fair price for both and in great condition. I came in here after I had a huge nail on my tire! It was so last minute and I wanted to go to a place that I can trust and rely. I quickly sorted through some of the reviews and read really good things. Immediately as I drove in, 2 older men greeted me and told me where to park. When Yelp saves the day! My normal tire spot was not open when I got a flat and I did a quick yelp search in the area and found Central Tire. Small repair shop on Garvey, easy to miss. I drove by this place all my life and probably never noticed it until today. Small entrance way into an alley. Tire patch was $15 which was cheaper then my normal spot. Quick and easy. Most places won't touch a Tesla tire - glad these guys were able to help patch and plug our 19" EV tire. Had a long bolt go through it. Tire was still good with plenty of tread left. 5 stars for changing my TPMS. I brought my own TPMS and they helped me changed it with the best price for labor. I was going to change 5 TPMS but 1 of the TPMS that i brought didn't work for my car.
