I came in on a Friday around 1PM since my top right tire pressure went all the way down to 11 psi. They were able to replace my tire, rotate them, and fill the rest up with air all within an hour! I noticed my other tires were at 29-31psi but when I picked it up it was all at 35+ which was a pleasant surprise! I love and appreciate that they gave me 3 different price points to choose from to replace my busted tire. I decided to go with the $90 Good Year one ($100 total w/tax). Recently my car suddenly had low tire pressure light coming on and all of my local air and water pump machines at gas stations don't come with pressure gauges. I did a quick Yelp search and discovered that Tire Central performs inspection on Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). There are three locations (San Gabriel, Pasadena, and Arcadia) and I decided to come to the San Gabriel branch for a walk-in visit. I came at 10:45 AM and was surprised to see quite a bit of customers waiting for their cars. After I parked my car within the tight lot, I walked into Tire Central's office and told the receptionist about my car's low tire pressure light. He said the shop is really busy right now and it will take 2+ hours to complete my request. I handed over my key, gave him my phone number & name, and went back home (I used a ridesharing app). At 12 PM, I got a text message from a mysterious number stating "CAR IS READY". I came back to the shop at 1:30 PM and the receptionist said no issues with my tires, but they indeed had low pressure at 20 psi and pumped them back up to 32 psi. I asked how much for the service and I couldn't believe what I heard from him ... "It is free." I was left speechless and in amazement. Top notch customer service!! I had a nail in my tire, the first thing that came to my mind was go to the place I bought and service my tires in the past, at American Tires on Colorado blvd, Pasadena. After waited for two hours they told me because the angle where the puncture is at, it wasn't repairable, and I needed a new tire. I knew for a fact the puncture was well within the repairable area. Hello guys, I've been reading reviews and I'll say, this place is excellent! Customer service was beyond my expectations especially after reading some reviews. The staff were fast and knowledgeable even though it was a little wait, they assured my tires will not be flat when I leave. After the change, i paid, and it occurred to me how not pricy it was! I asked for a certain service the my did not do any further or try to lowball or highball me. I also like the way the front worker guy is very nice and polite. I don't think the place is racist at all! Someone said if you're "black" don't go there. That's not true, my friend "black" and I went, and we got exceptional service, I'm sure that person was just rude and when given the same treatment he didn't like it (you have to do better.) anywho, highly recommend for your tires! I eventually ordered the same stock tire (Toyo A36) and they had it available the next day. I came during a non-busy time, and they took care of the replacement immediately. My total time here was less than 30 minutes. I've waited about 1-2 hours in the past during busy hours, which is very understandable, so this time was very impressive. He asked for my keys and told me it would take about 45-1hrs since there were about 6 people ahead of me at 8:55am (shop opens at 9am). Within 30 mins, my car was done. And they did it for free! I went to Costco to get new tires and was given honest advice that the price I was going to pay for mediocre tires weren't worth it ($220/tire). The rep explained that they don't carry good quality tires for my Honda Fit and instead, recommended Tire Central to me. He said I could get a much better deal and much better quality for what I would have spent at Costco. Went with his suggestion and decided to request a quote through Tire Central's yelp. I got a response from them FAST and during the long Labor Day weekend, where their shop wasn't actually open for business. Pretty great service. I can tell why they have so many 5-star reviews. David was very kind with giving me options. Straight forward, yet informative responses to get the job done as quick as possible. They got my tires ordered and ready for the following Tuesday. I did have to pay a $100 deposit in ordering the tires, which makes sense. I got there at 11:40 and was told the wait would be an hour to an hour and a half. My tires were done at 12:41. Pretty spot on ETA. They have wifi in their shop if you need to use which is nice. It's worth spending a bit more on tires if it means good quality to keep you safe on the road. My car also felt much nicer driving with the Yokohama's that I got, which were $160/tire. Definitely much cheaper than Costco's. Highly recommend Tire Central. read more

I was a walk in for tire puncture repair on a rainy Monday around 9:30 am. Checked in with the front desk and left my keys. The technician started to work on my tire repair about 10 mins later and no more than 30 minutes total time, I was ready to go. Best thing yet, they don't charge for puncture repair / plug. Keep in mind other places charge around $15 for a plug and $25 or more for a patch. Although they didn't charge me, I was grateful for the time they spent on my car so I tipped the technician. Not sure about their tire prices in comparison to other shops or Costco but their service was A+, living up to the Yelp rating expectation. Tire Central is the only place I will go now for tires and installation. They took great care of my X7 while getting a set of new tires installed and I really appreciated their attention to detail. The tires were mounted flawlessly on my wheels. I went from the factory run flats to all season non run flats, and on the BMWs it's imperative that in the iDrive system, the car settings match and configure to the new tire specs. When the car was ready, they had the car already set to the new specs and I left for the road extremely happy. The balancing of my tires was also done to perfection as well and they run incredibly smooth with no vibration or anything at all. Will definitely be back again! read more
