Really strange. Had them remove a stew and plug the tire. When we got in to leave the glove box had been removed from the dash. Got home and put the glove box back in then realized someone had stolen my leatherman knife. Too late to rectify . Don't recommend getting service at that location. read more

I was nervous and anxious to visit here after reading the amount of bad reviews but needed service today and had no choice. I have to say my experience was the exact opposite. I called and was able to be seen immediately, I dropped it off for a verbally agreed 'few hours' for my vague issue of 'steering wheel shaking while accelerating', and was called 30mins later with a diagnosis and action plan. It was finished an hour and a half later and I picked it up. Warranty information was shared to me and I tested my car and the issue was resolved: 2 tires and a rotation later. I knew I needed new tires soon and didn't think the solution would be that simple. If I had other options post-hurricane I would have went and avoided this place due to the reviews on here but as it turns out they communicated and did a professional job. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Came here when we got a flat on the way to Ft Lauderdale to catch a cruise. Long story short, despite multiple assurances that the tires were available and the timing was fine, our car was next, etc., we ended up being told, once the car was in the shop, that they did not have the tires on handed they could not complete the job. We ended up leaving the car at their location and renting a car to drive to Ft Lauderdale, pay for the rental while it sat in the garage and then return Monday morning. Promises to send a text update by EOD Friday were broken, and it was impossible to get anyone on the phone Monday morning to confirm the car was ready. When we picked it up, no apologies were offered, no compensation or discounts discussed, and the staff continued to be rude and disinterested. My fleet vehicle required four new tires, and Tire Choice was recommended by my company as they work with corporate (Fleet) cars and all the approvals required. It was really easy to schedule an appointment. I received the first slot I wanted, and the appointment confirmation was received quickly. This part was really easy. I arrived at my appointment time of 9:30am and the crew were nice and friendly. They obtained all the approvals needed by my company for the work to be done. But from that point on the service unfortunately went down. I told them I was going to walk next door to grocery shop with my wife, and asked if 45 minutes was a good estimate. The person agreed. This was important as I didn't want to have my frozen grocery items sitting out too long. Somehow 45 minutes turned into just under two hours as I am watching my items defrost. When I saw my car pulled out I went in to collect it, only to be told they were going to put it back in the bay to start an alignment- which would take another 30 minutes or so (which is Tire Choice speak could translate into another hour). I needed to get my groceries home and also had to get to work, so I asked for the keys and left without the alignment. I consider myself very reasonable and a 45 minutes extending until an hour or so is not a big deal. But 2 hours? If I had just been told up front it would take a couple hours I would have waited 90 minuted before shopping, just relaxed outside and everything would have been fine. Very disappointing. read more

My daughter took her car in for an oil change. The undercarriage cover was not reinstalled properly which resulted in falling and dragging on the ground. She took it in to have them fix it. They zipped tied it back on with no explanation. It obviously failed again so she took it back. They took the cover off and ordered a replacement. While waiting on the replacement now for weeks we've noticed oil in the driveway leaking from her car. This is typically a result of the oil cap not being reinstalled properly but when she took it back in to have then look at it they said "we told you there was a leak when we changed the oil", which was never the case. Now they are saying they can't fix the leak. Needless to say, we will never use this store again for future services, etc. read more

If I could give them a zero I would give them a double zero 00. This company has terrible customer service. I had my car towed in because I got bad gas and the car died out and would'nt start. They were recommended on the app that towed my car, from State Farm Ins. They said they couldn't look at it that day because the technician wasn't in. So I left it and they said they would get to it first thing the next morning at 7:30am. Come noon, not a word, I called, they didn't look at it, they said we will call you back in 5 minutes. 2 hours later no call, then I call, they final bring the car in and he wants to do a tune, up and change a bunch of censors that I already told him have been checked and are fine, the light is just on. I paid for them to do a diagnostics and all they did was check the tires and took some pictures of the dash lights and charged me $119. I told them, don't touch my car, I'll pick it up. I brought some fuel additive and the car ran perfect. I asked for the test and they sent me garbage, I don't need to know how much tire wear I have left, that's not what I asked for, I called and asked many times for them to send it to me, because they couldn't print it while I was there because their printer didn't work. I don't think they did the diagnosis and just charged me for it. I'm so glad I didn't let them touch me car, it just needed either a fuel filter or an additive which I did my self. Save yourself some time and money and never step foot in this place. VERY Incompetent people . read more

Had an appointment, arrived 10 minutes early. Was not acknowledged/greeted when I entered the store, one employee was scrolling on his phone. I waited patiently and was greeted 20 minutes later. I waited 45 minutes before they asked me to bring the car around, to then which I was not communicated with. I had to go inside and ask what was going on, and was told to make an appointment for another day. A complete waste of time and so rude!!!! read more

I cannot recommend this location at all. People were rude. If I could give it half a star, I would. I called the number associated with this store because I had a flat tire. It turned out to be a call center - which is fine in itself. I made an appointment for 1pm the same day. I got the car to them with the spare on before 1pm. I told them we had called and made an appointment. I was rudely told that I didn't talk to them. I told this person what I had discussed with the call center - flat tire - can't find nail or screw, please let me know. They didn't bother calling me back until after 4:30pm to tell me I needed a new tire - something about a bubble in the sidewall. That I needed an alignment because of the new tire, and that with a tire rotation the whole bill would be over $600. I said "no" to the tire rotation and asked why I needed an alignment. I was not given an answer. I never got a call back that day telling me the car was ready. I'm glad I didn't need it - remember it was a 1pm appointment. I had to call the number again this morning and get the same call center who transferred me to the store where after a 10 minute hold I was told my car was ready. The same rude person told me to go ahead and put my credit card in the machine. I asked if I could see the invoice detailing the charges first. He was not happy about giving it to me at all. Still no explanation as to why I needed an alignment for a new tire. I paid the invoice, over $300 dollars for everything - (so a tire rotation is $300??? - remember the first estimate was over $600). I got home and as I was putting my items back in the trunk I noticed the new tire was not the same brand as the other three! Same size and tread type, but not the same brand at all. Are you kidding me? No phone call saying that my brand was not available or not part of their inventory. No discussion to say that it would be just fine. No asking for permission to use a tire that is not the same brand - no choice to me at all. They completely slid it by. This experience was a complete "FAIL." I will not recommend this company or this specific location to anybody. I feel like everything was a "bait and switch!" And I still don't know why I needed a tire alignment for one new tire??? If there is a legitimate answer to that, I would love to hear it. I also would like to know why they used a different brand without my permission. I've been to this shop more than 8 times, in fact, it was my preferred place for my car maintenance ever since moving to Estero. Today I went again after scheduling a normal drop-off appointment - TireChoice's website schedules drop-offs within a range, meaning you can drop off the car between a set time and closing. Like I've always done. The person there today, 6.16.2023 at 3:40PM refused to accept my car because my appointment started at 1PM... when I showed him the screenshot of the appointment on the website explicitly saying I had until 7PM to drop off (not wait.. drop off) he said he wasn't going to accept it and that I should look for another place. What? This all right after just saying "Hi, I have an appointment - followed by my name" No solution, no suggestion of bringing it over the next day, no re-scheduling. Straight up declined service even when I was still within the time range. I will definitely take my car to another shop, the one in Naples seems friendlier. New people on this one seem to not be properly trained. Wouldn't trust them with a car anymore. read more

I had a great experience here. Had a blow out with a low-profile tire. I had a slightly used extra tire (from a prior blow out where I replaced 2 tires and kept the good one). The manager/desk attendant could not have been nicer. He invited me to leave the blown-out tire/rim and the replacement/used tire that afternoon and the next morning it had been perfectly repaired...and, get this, he charged me nothing. Repeat: he did it for free. That is great customer service. Note that the tire was perfectly balanced, the air pressure sensor had been properly remounted so my dashboard monitor still worked, and they disposed of the old tire. They will be top of my list when new tires are needed. read more

Tire Choices insurance co paid to replace the engine however almost 2 months later they still have yet to refund my $! The absolute worst customer service from reps to the Executive Board. No one has returned a phone call or email other then their insurance adjuster. They destroyed my car, left me without a vehicle for a month and refuse to refund my money. I stopped by here to have my tire looked at. It has had a slow leak since the day before Hurricane Ian hit. I'd air it up to 32 PSI and it would stay there until the weather changed and then it would drop about 10 PSI. Generally, I aired it up every 3-4 days. I'm new to the area and work a lot, so I hadn't had a chance to find a place to repair it. The Hurricane impacted that too. Anyway, last night I had stopped to put air in my tire on my way home from work. The gas station air compressor attachment had to of been jammed bc it released all the air from my tire. I went from 21 PSI to 0. So with the help of one of my employees, I put my spare on to get me home. Today, I went to choice tire bc it's close to where I live. The reviews were okay and I mean, how could they mess up a tire patch? When I arrived, I went in and was fairly quickly greeted. The gentleman came out and took a look at my tire and was looking for the spot to patch, when another guy came out. The other guy said that the tire was too worn down and that they couldn't patch it even if they found the spot. The other guy then said he'd quote me a tire and they both walked away. Nothing else was said to me. I stood out there for 15 minutes wondering if they were coming back or not... I also had been going back and forth with my parents who own an automotive shop in Texas... my parents informed me that my tires probably need to be replaced within the next year and that the spot should be able to be repaired. I just got my oil changed a month ago and they told me my tire were good then too. I went inside and asked the guy to put my tire back in my trunk for me. I didn't tell him what my parents had said but let him know that whether I needed a new tire or not, the level of service I received didn't meet my expectations. I thought it was really unkind for them to be so dismissive of me and to just walk away without saying anything. The guy apologized, but it didn't feel genuine. Needless to say, the people were fine but overall not a great experience. I felt like they just tried to upsell me, and that's dishonest business in my opinion. I won't be back. read more

suffice it to say I never write reviews. was recommended by a friend to go here. First it was a nail in my tire they could not repair ,ok. Then I needed an alternator. The female advisor told me it would be a thousand dollars. What??? I was a Ford service advisor for 4 years with a 92% CSI rating. So I went to advance and got my own alternator and said what is the labor?$500.00. what??? by the time it was over it ended up being close to &50.00 dollars with tax,diposal fee. shop supplys. What????????? Then she said I need tires badly ! and front brakes$2000 HA! , well I drove it another 2000 miles and ordered the tires elsewhere for 375.00 and 80 to install I ordered front pads and rotors online for $81.00 total and had Naples mobile mechanic put them on for $100. Angels do exist! I was just rescued by one named Tony. I have a 2014 Infiniti Q70. I get the oil changed regularly, have installed new tires and have driven only 43000 miles. She's in very good shape. Yesterday I went to start her up and all I got was a faint clicking sound. I called my USAA Roadside Assistance who sent a technician out asap. He gave my car a jumpstart, told me to let it run for about 30 minutes and then shut it off and restart it. It worked. He told me the battery was still okay. That was yesterday. This morning I went to start it and again, nothing. I managed to get it started with an old trickle charger I had for an old motorcycle. I drove to Costco but they only sell batteries they do not install them. They recommend Auto Zone or Advanced Auto. I went to the Auto Zone in Estero. Sadly, they too could sell but not install a battery. They suggested I try Tire Choice just a little further up the road. I walked into the office and was greeted by Tony. He was very busy answering phones and told me that he was booked solid and today was appointment only. He must have seen the look on my face because when I told him of my dilemma, he immediately told me he would take care of me himself. He got on the phone, called in a favor from another location because he did not have the exact battery for my car on site. While he waited for them to bring over the battery, he went out and removed my old one. When it arrived, he installed it, made sure it worked and put my car back together. He did all this out in the 96 degree Florida heat while I waited in the air conditioned office. Now being a woman, I am always worried that I will be taken advantage of because I have no idea about automotive issues. I cannot say enough about his kindness, his compassion and commitment to his profession and the clients he deals with. While I waited, I heard him on the phone with other clients. His knowledge of all aspects of automotive problems was quite evident. And I heard him giving all his clients the courtesy and respect that I thought had long gone out of style. I will be going to Tire Choice and Tony for all my future car needs. I trust him and I cannot thank him enough for being my Automotive Angel today. The people were very nice but I got way over charged for replacement parts for my car and they didn't a horrible and lazy job fixing my car. They replaced my battery and didn't even bolt it down, I paid hundreds of dollars for a new part for my power steering and they left it just hanging under my car. My college student took his truck there in August for a noise and the truck was diagnosed for repairs of $1400+. He had the truck fixed and three weeks later the truck was back in for the same noise. This time he was given a total different diagnosis for the truck and they tried to charge him more money this time. Obviously, the truck was misdiagnosed on the first visit and they took advantage of a college student. I have tried to talk to Quncia Walters and Leynier Padilla to make this situation right, with absolute no luck. THINK TWICE BEFORE USING THIS LOCATION!! Rip off!!! I went because my car (Chevy) wouldn't start. I was told the reason my car doesn't start is because I need a new battery AND alternator. Told me it would cost 750 dollars. And that was with my "student discount"....I politely paid the diagnostic fee and took my car across the street to ESTERO bay Chevy ....showed them diagnostic ...Chevy service technician laughed, Checked my car out, told me I needed a new battery not alternator ...got new battery at Chevy and went about my day. I'd give a zero to this place if I could. I went in for a simple oil change, they call me back and try to scam me into having my power steering fixed since I had a "massive leak" and "broken tail lights". My partner had been driving behind me (he works at Carmax, so he is well versed in car knowledge) and said he hadn't noticed any failure in my brakes, nor any leakage. I told them I'd go get it checked out somewhere else and only pay for the oil change. When I got there, they tried up charging me $10 over their original quote cost for the oil change--I corrected it, and they did not seem as "cheery" as when I first had dropped off the car. My partner checked out the car while I paid, and looked under the hood. There was no leakage, not to mention, I had recently gotten my car inspected and my steering passed. They stuttered when we confronted them, plainly stating that there was no evident leaking--they changed their story as an attempt to save their asses. Bottom line, they aren't to be trusted--when I went in by myself and failed to give them the correct year of my car, they clearly saw an opportunity to take advantage of my lack of car knowledge (now I've done excessive research and know I definitely DON'T have a power steering leak). This is not the place to go to for honest work and to make things right....Expect to get hung up on and told "I don't have time for this".
