If I could give this place a " no star review" I would. Probably the worst experience my husband I ever had. This is not the place to go to for honest work and to make things right....Expect to get hung up on and told "I don't have time for this". Worst customer service and per my dealership they sold me a bad tire that caused my car to shake when on the highway and they refused to replace a bad tire. Will be notifying The manufacture and make sure they know what's going on where their tires are being sold (shelf life). I've been taking my cars here for years and I have 4 cars that need tires or alignment periodically. since they have been so good with the tires I trusted them to do a good job on oil change and filters if needed. Let me tell you they lost a customer today. They charged me 49.00 dollars for a cheap cabin filter that cost 8.99 at your local parts store and 24.00 dollars for labor. Then they charged me 52.89 for a air filter that cost 16.00 dollars at your local parts store plus another 24.00 dollar labor cost. Customer for over ten years at the location - Recently I had my car serviced by Wes. After an additional day of sitting in the shop, I showed up to pay the bill. Wes had added numerous parts to my bill without calling to confirm, these were not small additions to the bill either. When questioned on why this occurred, I received a pathetic sales line. A light came on my dashboard and I looked up in the manual what it meant. It said I needed air in my tires. I have never put air in my tires before and didn't know where to go. I went to a car wash and they said they didn't do it. Then I remember the "tire" store on Corkscrew. I went in and Anna asked what I needed and I asked if they could put air in my tires. She said sure anytime. She told me to pull around to the side of the building and she would go out and tell the guys and meet me. They were so nice and helpful. I felt that Anna was an angel for me in my "distress". I would recommend them with a 10 stars but you can only give up to 5. I have been going to the Livingson Rd. location for years and today my partner went there for a set of front tires. I just wanted the tires mounted and balanced. He tried to sell road hazzard and a front end alignment. I declined and as they were handing the keys off to the mechanic he heard them say in spanish (Maricon Necesita su coche arreglado) Faggot needs his car fixed. I told him to go get his keys and get the vehicle out of there. We took it to Sam's and got the same tires for less money. read more

I usually asked them to do oil change and tire rotation there because its location is near my home. However I will never go there in the future. A few months ago I went to a long trip, and I had a car problem on the way, it turned out to be low tire pressure for the two front tires. I asked a friend who is also an auto technician, he told me that oil change and tire rotation should take care of tire pressure. I pumped air and never showed low pressure since them. After I got home, I went to tire choice and do oil change and rotation again, the technician there told me that the two front tires needed to be replaced, becaues the worn-out, I told them that these four tires were less than two years old. If I did tire rotation regurally why rear tires were okay? They could not give me a reasonable answer. I suspected that they probably skipped tire rotation when doing oil change. Recently, one of my tires caught a nail and I went there to fix it, again, the guy told me that it could not be fixed, and it must be replaced with a new tire. I went to another place, it took 20 minutes and it was fixed. From my experience I think tire choice is a dishonest business, at lesast at the location I went. Be aware of them. read more

I was driving South on I-75 on Sunday afternoon, hit something in the road that was unavoidable, my tire warning system alerted me there was zero air in my run flat tire, pulled off at the closest exit, went to a fuel station to refill the air and there was a huge gash in the tire so it would not hold air. I pressed my On-Star button for assistance to the nearest tire store and they connected me with Tire Choice. The gentleman on the phone could not have been nicer, I was less than a mile from his Service Center, they pulled my car around and took the tire off and replaced it with a new one. I was in and out in 20 minutes back to Miami Beach. The Team was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend them. read more

I am a college student at FGCU. I have used them in the past and always thought the prices to be a bit high but put up with it because of the pain of finding a new trustworthy mechanic/tire store. Recently, I took my truck in to get looked at because it was making a weird noise when I turned. I has assumed it was a bearing somewhere and they came to the same diagnosis... ON THE WRONG WHEEL. They replaced both rear bearings at an original cost of $1200 in change. I arrive to pick up my truck and get hit with a, "By the way it was actually $250 more than we thought." Two weeks later I have the same issue I had prior to getting it fixed so I take it back in. Come to find out it was my front left bearing that needed replaced and they had misdiagnosed the first time. They tried to justify the misdiagnoses by claiming it would have needed to be done eventually anyway. I equate this to going in for a hip replacement and instead getting a knee replacement because "it would've needed done too" ... it just doesn't fly. Eating a $1400 car bill on a minimum wage part time college job is no small feat. Very dissatisfied with the service and the way it was handled after the fact. Would no longer recommend. read more

Today I endured an oil change at Tire Choice location at 10441 Corkscrew Commons, Estero, FL. I called yesterday to make the appointment, I told the tech 'any time, I'll have to wait, so what would be a good time'. Appointment made for 11:00, I arrive at 10:45, my car was taken in at 11:53 and returned to me at 1:30; 2 1/2 hours for an oil change. The tires were purchased at this location and included lifetime balance and alignment. I don't know if anything was done to the car, I hope the oil change was. I was not given your "32-POINT COURTESY INSPECTION" sheet (form SS0071) which outlines such things as tread depth, brake pad thickness, plus a bunch of other inspection items. I questioned why I did not get one, the cashier checked and found the blank sheet in the jacket, he said 'it was not filled out, everything must have been good' - THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. After 2 1/2 + hours I had had enough and left. This will be my last visit tom one of your facilities, and the set of tires I need for my BMW will be purchased elsewhere. read more

I have been using this Tire Choice for years. The management there changes frequently which is a problem because you can't really rely on their diagnosis. Within the last year I applied for their credit card which give you a $9.95 oil change and tire rotation if you use their card for the repair. Since I got the card I've received several calls from them while my cars were in for service telling me that I had serious problems which would cost me hundreds of dollars of repairs. One problem was badly leaking rear shocks that were going to ware my tires out. The repair would cost me close to $300. When I inspected them after bringing the car home my shocks weren't leaking? Today it was a badly leaking oil pan gasket for $200. I grew up in a family of car dealers and ran my family business for 35 years. Needless to say it going to take a lot to put one past me when it comes to cars. When I got my car back today I crawled under it with a flash light expecting to see the whole under carriage and oil pan covered with oil as described to me on the phone. It was dry as a bone. As long as they will continue to change my oil for $9.95 I will continue to let them change my oil but that's all. I would never trust any diagnosis that they ever gave me. BUYER BEWARE! The only reason that I gave them one star was because they wouldn't let me post without at least a one star rating. They didn't deserve one star. read more

I would not recommend this place. They told me that they rotated my tires. I had proof that they didn't, then they admitted that it was not done. During that same visit I was told that I needed a new compressor for my a/c for $850. I didn't believe that either and brought my car elsewhere for a second opinion. Low and behold, $200 later, my a/c was fixed. My compressor was fine and the problem was I had a freon leak. After having the a/c recharged, everything works fine. Either Tires Choice does not know what they are doing, or they are deceitful. Either way, avoid them. read more

WHAT CROOKS! I feel bad for the one person who wrote 5 stars and didn't realize they stayed late so he could juice her for "parts about to fall off her car," when it was probably a nail in the tire. That's why she got 3 "funny" marks on that comment. My vulnerable girlfriend went in for an oil change and they called her on the phone and said OMG you have an emergency! You have two nails in two tires and you are in danger. We should replace all four tires and it's going to run you $1200 for those installed (Michelin standard 16"), but we warranty those tires if anything ever happens to them. EVERYTIME they did this to her. Always another danger story. Lucky she has me now :D Her tires were about 65% tread left. I told her the questions to ask and point out the nails to see if they were patchable. It wasn't, it was on the shoulder, but "both nails" were in one tire, which they couldn't find the second one when asked to point it out. Of course... went to Costco and got the same "warranty," and could have got the same tires for $575 installed out the door, but $150 out the door for the one and we were smiling. Those weren't even on sale at Costco when apparently they were at "Good Ole" Tire Choice. I hope you guys got coal for Christmas. BUYER BEWARE! read more

I wish there was such thing as negative stars. I take great care of my car and I'm only 18 years old as a student of FGCU. I brought my car here to have my brakes fixed. They said I needed to replace my rotors and brake pads. I let them charge me 300 bucks more or less. 2 weeks later my car goes up in smoke, I Tow my car back to this place and tell them that something happened to my brakes. After feeding me bull about how my make and year has issues with calipers they tell me they will replace them for 400 dollars, which is not including the rotors and brake pads that they said they would cover cause I had just paid for them to be replaced. I respected that but I do not believe that my calipers failed coincidentally 1 week after they worked on my brakes. They took complete advantage of my age and ignorance, so I paid up since I had no other choice. Never any student from my school will use their business ever again and I will make sure of that. Bad service bad acting bad everything. Please learn from my mistakes, I sure did. read more
