Had oil change. They broke a part on fender. Tried to cover it up. Went back to have fixed they tried to cover up again. Then they said they would order the part and call me. Went for an oil change on October 5th. The technician failed to tighten the engine splash shield after replacing it, causing it to fly off on I-75, which then ripped off the wheel molding. This caused multiple areas of damage to the vehicle. After filing a complaint with the BBB, this company flat out lied as well. The entire incident is on video, which proves they did not properly replace the clips. The manager of this location lied and stated that my husband viewed the video, and agreed with him. My husband did not say a word to the manager. We are filing a complaint with the Florida Attorney General, as well as a licensing complaint with the Florida Department of Agriculture. A little expensive at $80 for an oil change for a synthetic blend, but the service was outstanding 15 minutes I was done they checked and topped off all the fluids and just a great bunch of guys that work there in particular one fella name Eduardo what a great employee he's a real person, and I would go back just for his attitude alone. Max and the team at this location consistently take great care of me. In fact, I moved to Naples a few months ago and still drove past my local Valvoline to this location because they always treat me so well. This location is for people who don't mind paying a premium price for premium service. They are fast, thorough, and there is never any doubt or mystery on what they are doing and changing as they literally show you the old item (eg filter) and you watch them put in the new one. Took my Dads Texas Olds which is now our Florida ride in for its needed oil change and to check the engine light. Kenneth gave me the options and explained what was really needed on this trip. Oil, lube, liquids checked and engine light cleared. Air in tires. I stopped going to fast oil places because of the strong up sale and guilt of not doing everything that they continued to push. I took my hyundai 2016 in for an oil change and after 15 min they said my plug was stripped they claimed the last person to do my oil change stripped the plug.. so I take it to my regular mechanic and he changes my oil and tells me nothing is wrong with it.. so I officially think this place is. Big waste of time. The people that Work there don't actually know how to change oil.. and if so that's all they know how to do.. do not go here.. read more

I wouldn't take my dead grandma's wheelchair here to get an oil change! If I could have given zero or negative stars I would have. You expect a reasonable amount of competence from the technicians and at lease a sliver of professionalism from the management, but there is none; from either! After sitting in the bay for about 10 minutes it overhead the staff discussing a "stripped" drain plug. The technician could not get the plug out and was "leaving metal fragments" from the bolt, trying to get it out. They claimed a previous oil change had done it, not them. They also reduced my tire pressure to 35, despite the tires clearly stating 45. They ended up sucking the oil out through the dipstick to change it. The receipt stated everything was "checked ok" on the receipt - even the oil drain plug! I called the corporate number when I got home and started a claim. Within an hour I got a call from a lady claiming to be the store manager, corporate later claimed she wasn't. This lady argued with me, was rude and accusatory, and ultimately hung up on me. I recalled corporate and they escalated the claim to a regional manager. 4 weeks later and still no contact. I ended up taking my vehicle to the dealership to assess the damage they did to my car. After a full inspection of the oil pan and plug they determined that the technician attempted to removed the plug with the wrong socket size. They were able to cleanly remove the plug with no issues. The incorrect socket knocked a bit of paint off the head of the plug, but the plug was as good as the day it was originally installed. Valvoline's incompetence not only cost me a quality oil change, it cost me a bill at the dealership to verify their fraudulent claims. I'm not sure if this was a trainee, a horrible employee, or someone that simply didn't want to do the oil change on my car, but the technician clearly needs to find a new job! And what's with the management? Not only have you lost me as a customer, I hope this experience will cause others to look elsewhere for their oil change needs. This place will mess up your car! I have officially requested not only a refund of my oil change, but also reimbursement for the inspection fees at my dealership! read more

Very prompt and attentive service. Staff was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and kind. Staff educated me on the work I may need to have done, but was not pushy in any way. I needed to get an oil change on a Sunday and found that Valvoline Instant Oil Change was open and convenient. I arrived early and was able to drive right in. I was informed that the cost would be $120 for the service. I agreed because I needed to have it done that day. Staff was friendly and service was completed quickly. Unfortunately I was stuck because I needed to have it completed that day but $120 for an oil change without even rotating the tires is outrageous! I paid dearly for the convenience. read more

I drove in about 9:00 Am to get my oil changed on a Hyundai Santa Fe. A very basic common car ... You see a lot of them on the road. The manager said they don't carry the oil filter for this vehicle! I drove to the Auto Zone and purchased the Filter myself and brought it back to the Valvoline store. Then she said good but they don't carry the synthetic oil used in this car and that it comes from Europe ! This is a Korean Car that's built in Mississippi or Alabama. This made no sense! She said if she did have it in stock , it would be $147 to change the oil using my filter. I decided to take it to the Hyundai dealer waited for two hours and they did the oil change and tire rotation for free. The service manager there said all parts are readily available and they clearly just didn't want to do the work. No wonder why there was no line ! read more

What a difference time makes. This location has gotten bad. Tried to get another oil change today and after sitting for for an open bay I was asked to change places with another car. They took the other car ahead of me. I guess the other car picked the wrong bay, so they took my spot because there was a shorter wait time for the bay I was at. Just because the customer in front of me got a quicker oil change, why should I have to change places? Terrible way to treat return customers. You just lost me as a customer. read more

Wow! This location is great. Just had to get our wipers replaced and window wiper fluid changed. The employee was amazing, nice, and honest. Went in there to get my headlights replaced because they seemed dim (but not burnt out). The manager was the person who helped me. He listened to my concerns, checked out my car and in the end explained why new bulbs wouldn't help the dim lights. He could have easily installed new bulbs and charged me but helped me instead. Had came in December for an oil change and had no problems with my car in regards of oil leakage. Since then, my car has been leaking oil, came back to have them check it and was told it was either my oil pan gasket or valve cover gasket. I called the shop that usually works on my car in Orlando after the second visit and was told that everything was just replaced. I asked the workers at valvoline how my car would start leaking oil out of no where and if it has been leaking why was I not told my first initial visit, they didn't have an answer to that. So to keep it simple, avoid this place and take your money elsewhere for an overpriced oil change. read more

I have been a steady customer at this place for at least 4 years now. At one of the service visits, they forget to close the air filter cover. At another visit, I had to wipe off the oil that they spilled on the engine. At another visit, the oil filter was loose, I had to tighten it and clean all the oil off of the frame of the car. At another visit they forgot to put the caps on the tires after filling them with air. These people are suppose to be trained. Can you imagine mechanics like this rebuilding an engine? Look, here is the problem. Valvoline hires people that are trained to do this type of work. What Valvoline does not do, is monitor the work ethics of the individuals they hire. It is mainly a practice platform for new mechanics in the trade until they find a better job. I have a suggestion. Get more experienced workers who take pride in the work they do, offer them better pay and benefits and keep them. Doing this will increase your business and avoid loss of revenue do to bad reviews. Statistics show, bad reviews establish over a 60% loss of future business. You are really not seeing how great your business can be until you change direction. read more
