Most recently, my wife had an issue with her tire while I was out of town. they were able to plug it very cheaply and could easily have told her she needed a whole new tire of more expensive repair and she would not have known any better. We find this place genuinely honest, they don't try to over sell, and they get the job done as quick as they can. While they do have a waiting room, it's not exactly the most comfortable accommodation so we recommend having a friend or family member pick you up and bring you back later if possible. ( 1/2 star) Frustrating, Unprofessional, and a Complete Waste of Time…read more On September 22 at 4:15 PM, I went to Walmart Auto Service located at 5420 Juliet Blvd, Naples, FL 34109 to buy a battery for my 2015 Dodge Journey. I was told installation was free, but that promise quickly unraveled. The associate confirmed the battery location--behind the front bumper left front wheel, easily accessible by removing a plastic cover. But when he asked the mechanics to install it, they flat-out refused, saying it was "too much work." No inspection, no attempt--just a blanket refusal. I asked to speak with the auto service manager, Wilson, who claimed it was Walmart policy not to install batteries unless they're under the hood. When I asked to see this policy, he admitted he didn't know where it was written. He then changed his reasoning to "safety concerns," pointing at the plastic push pins, and finally settled on "too much work" as the ultimate excuse. I escalated to Victor, the acting store manager, who offered a hollow apology and said he'd pass it along to his superior. He didn't even ask for my contact info until I prompted him. I wrote it down myself. I bought the battery anyway, only to discover at home that it was the wrong one. Returned it, got a replacement--wrong again. The terminals were reversed. I had to go back a third time to find the correct battery myself. And guess what? I installed it at home in under 35 minutes. Walmart Auto Service failed at every level: poor communication, refusal to help, lack of accountability, and poor employees training selling the wrong product--twice.

I thought I felt a slow shift point once or twice in the last few months so I decided it was time. I was right. Artem saved and showed me how dark brown the normally pink trans fluid had become. Yuck! The Naples Volvo dealership wanted DOUBLE what Artem charges and I can guarantee you, it couldn't have been done any better. I noticed a discernable improvement on the drive home tonight from his shop and I'm sure my gas mileage will improve going forward as a result, too. And it's not just Volvo's Artem works on.....seems like nearly every foreign car is in his shop or his parking lot. So happy to have found an honest and reliable car mechanic here in Naples. When I returned home I pulled the dipstick and the oil was obviously not fresh. I called to point out the mistake, but they doubled down and the mechanic confirmed it was done. So I found Naples Mechanics and took it there and they confirmed I was correct. While the car was on the lift, the owner also pointed out that the central arm bushings were shot and that the rear shocks were leaking. I had been taking my car to the previous place for the past 5 years, so they had plenty of opportunities to identify these issues (I only do very low mileage each season), so I opted to have the work done by Naples Mechanics and was very pleased with the work done.

As I approached the gate, the driver was in the process of obtaining clearance to enter. I proceeded to pull into the residential lane to the right and entered the condominium after the gate had cleared. Unfortunately, it appears that the driver, who was left behind me, attempted to enter just as the gate closed. Upon parking my vehicle, I was approached by the driver, who was visibly upset and began yelling at me, accusing me of making a "bad move." I was perplexed by this reaction and attempted to explain that residents have a designated lane and that the situation was beyond my control. To de-escalate the situation, I asked him to leave, as it was becoming quite loud. I also informed him that I would be contacting the police and reporting the incident to the condominium office. While I was waiting to speak with someone at the office, the driver made a threatening remark, stating that he knew where I lived and would return. I have since spoken with Heather at the office, who advised me to document this incident in writing. Additionally, I will be reporting this matter to the police.

Save your time and money. Let me preface this by saying the…read morestaff was always very nice and professional. Unfortunately, my experience with the actual service was the complete opposite. After multiple visits and over $2,000 spent on A/C recharges, labor, and repairs, including a condenser leak they eventually found and repaired, I finally thought the problem was fixed. About a month later, one vent started blowing noticeably less cold, so I brought the car back. They evacuated the entire system, found another leak in the evaporator, and told me they were "legally" prohibited from putting the refrigerant back in. I researched this and could not find any Florida or Federal law specifically prohibiting a shop from recharging an A/C system simply because a leak was detected. If that were the case, they wouldn't have recharged my leaking system the previous two times. The laws I found prohibit intentionally venting refrigerant into the atmosphere, which is a very different thing. I later took the car to another shop, and they recharged it without issue. They were actually confused as to why I had been told otherwise. What bothers me most is that I brought them a car with functioning A/C and one weak vent, and they returned it with no functioning A/C whatsoever. I was not clearly told beforehand that they would evacuate the system or that I would be leaving without A/C. I only discovered this when I picked up the car. Even worse, the technician notes I was sent stated that the system was both evacuated and recharged, which was clearly not the case.(Screenshot below) If this was an internal shop policy, that's one thing. But an internal policy and a legal requirement are very different things. After spending so much with this shop recently, I had been patient and understanding throughout the entire process, but this was the last straw. The staff may be courteous and professional, but that means very little when the actual service leaves the customer worse off. I cannot recommend this shop, and I will not be returning.
