I've never cried leaving a tire shop but today was that day. I was headed to work and heard a weird sound. Pulled over and there's a nail in my tire. Thought about going to Bud's but decided to try Tire Choice. Mike quickly checked me in and told me that I'd have to wait for a bit so I set up my work laptop and started working remotely from their waiting room. In less than 30 minutes , Mike informed that I was good to go, tire fixed and no charge and just to remember them the next time that I need tires. I broke down in tears on my way to work due to their kindness and generosity. Life has been a battle and challenge for me lately and this kindness gave my heart the boost it needed. They have absolutely terrible customer service. The guy that works the front counter is terrible. I've been in there at least three times now and he just has a poor attitude like as if he doesn't want to do the work. One time I got quoted for a tire sensor and absurd fee. And then I realized I had warranty coverage so I called him back and said oh great most of it should be covered under warranty and he basically gave me the runaround and said that they did not want to do the work and didn't have time. And I've also been in there twice for a screw in my tire and he's told me that it would be over three hour wait. He's just rude and not friendly and clearly doesn't want any business. I get there to a little before appt time, only to be told they need to keep my car and won't be done til end of day! Why make an appointment? I was told they are short staffed. Absolutely horrible service. I came in due to a radiator issue. I also asked them to look at a noise coming from my right tire. After inspecting my vehicle, they said they can take care of the radiator and have it done by the next day, however the struts needed to be replaced and that means my vehicle could potentially be at their shop for two weeks due to the mechanic going on vacation. Gus was explicitly told to not do the struts, we will come back another time for them. The full price was over $4000. I'm also in the market for another vehicle, therefore weighing my decisions on investment. Gus took it upon himself to approve the work for the mechanic. He was told to hold off and not do them. We picked the vehicle up and we were given the pricing (just the radiator was over $2000 which I expected). Gus was not in (granted it was Christmas Eve), so Mike was there. Mike was as rude, argumentative and lazy as it gets. He flat out treated us like he did not care. Initially not wanting to make any phone calls, telling me to come back another day to get my vehicle. I explained I have to get my kids somewhere and this is their error not mine. He finally got Gus on the phone in the back, refused to let us have a conversation with him and Gus said it was approved by us and their calls are all recorded and to come back after they pull the recording from corporate on Saturday. I felt like things would then be resolved because - at no point could there have been any misunderstanding on approval of this, and the recording would certainly prove it. I show up on Saturday, now they don't have the recording. Terry, the Manager first said we can put the old struts back on and refund your card but my vehicle would be there all day. He was told, I have kids with places I need to be so they will need to reimburse for a rental car at least. Then he called someone who agreed to split the cost of the struts. No where do they have audio or video recordings for authorization. The service was not agreed to verbally or in writing. The work was performed on Dec 22, and the kicker is, the price adjustment was added to the invoice after the work was done on Dec 23. Gus made a mistake and lied and covered his rear end and they charged their customer for half of it. I would never use them again. And I am filing a complaint with their corporate office and with the BAR. Their business practice is illegal. read more

WORST experience with any car repair business EVER! We brought my wife's Mercedes to Tire Choice for a simple tire repair and oil change. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the car when it was brought in. Immediately following the oil change, they turned the car on, white smoke came out, and the dash flashed engine error codes. Tire Choice said they didn't know why it was happening and didn't have the ability to work on the engine, and we needed to have the car towed to the Mercedes dealership. Mercedes did their inspection and conclusively determined that oil went down the breather hose, getting oil into the intercooler, air filters, and spark plugs. The only way oil can go down the breather hose is if they didn't use a funnel when filling the oil reservoir or if they overfilled the oil reservoir, causing the oil to back up and then go down the breather hose. Their responsibility was crystal clear from their check done before the oil change, confirming no oil appeared in the air filters or anywhere else it should not have been in the engine prior to their oil change. The receipt even showed they had drained the oil after filling it and refilled it, obviously because the mechanic must have suspected his mistake. The Mercedes personnel got on the phone with them and us to explain everything, and they simply replied combatively and belligerently, "we're not going to admit anything or take responsibility" and they "weren't interested in talking about it." They caused almost $4,000 in damage to my wife's car, and we had to file a claim with their insurance company, which was decided in our favor. Even after that, they still wouldn't admit their fault and never apologized. All for a simple oil change. Tire Choice tried to hide their clear incompetence by draining the oil and refilling it to the correct 7-quart Mercedes requirement. They never admitted to anything despite clear photos and video evidence from the Mercedes dealership where their gross errors were patently obvious. Tire Choice's insurance, Travelers, agreed to pay for the full repair, but only after a 3-week delay caused by Tire Choice employees insisting that they did not make a mistake. Both GUS and TERRY (assistant manager and manager) were complete and utter jerks, wholly unprofessional and unethical. Rather than simply acknowledging their obvious negligence, Gus and Terry were extremely rude to us and the Mercedes service technician who got on the phone with them to explain how the only way oil could get where it was in the videos was by somebody making a mistake during the oil change. Gus slung in petty insults at the Mercedes technician. Neither Gus nor Terry could have cared less, repeating "my technician says he did nothing wrong," "talk to corporate," and insisting they had "no idea" how oil got into the intercooler and air filters and "couldn't explain it," making the ludicrous suggestion that perhaps the turbocharger system went bad during the oil change -- when the engine is off -- causing all the damage as soon as the car was turned on. They forced us to file a claim with their insurance company, Travelers, and continued to insist they had done nothing wrong to Travelers. Travelers ruled 100% in our favor, finding Tire Choice 100% liable for the extensive damage to my wife's car. As everyone knows, insurance companies are not in the business of giving away money, but even following Travelers' determination of Tire Choice's full responsibility for the significant damage, we never received an apology from Gus or Terry. In fact, Terry refused to refund even the cost of the oil change, which had to be redone by the Mercedes dealership. Terry hung up on both me and my wife, and both Gus and Terry spoke over us and the Mercedes service technician when we tried to have a rational conversation, not letting us get a word in or even listening to what the Mercedes technician tried to explain to them. We had to speak with the district manager, Misty, who refunded the oil change as well and apologized for Gus and Terry's conduct and the extensive damage to the car. However, Misty also promised to refund the cost of the tire warranty yet never followed through or responded to numerous phone calls and emails circling back up on this promise. We once again had to go to corporate to get this promised refund. Beware and stay away from this unethical dealership who will cause major damage to cars, take no responsibility for errors, and treat customers so abominably! Even the Mercedes technician was aghast at how ignorant and rude they were in all communications. read more

To my surprise, Gustavo called me in only about a hour to let me know that my truck was ready for pick up! When I arrived to pay and pick up the keys, Gustavo told me there was no charge, he was just happy to help me out!!! To say I was completely shocked and happily surprised would be an understatement! Other reviews here state they will patch a repairable tire for free (like 99% of other tire shops). I went there for a repairable tire patch as its the nearest tire shop to me and they told me it would be $24.95. I asked why as nearly all other shops do it for free and the response i got was "well take it to one of those then". Will not be considering them for any future needs. read more

I went to Tire choice cause it was the closest to my job because my tire pressure turned on. I am just a girl so I called to ask if I am able to come in and Mike was able to assist me in putting air in my tires & told me if the light was to come back on to just come back. Lo and behold, I had to go back a couple of days after. I then was helped by Gus who had let me know I had a nail in my tire. They were extremely helpful and unfortunately had to break off one of the lug nuts because the last place I went stripped it & it did not want to come off. I like to wait a bit on reviews till I've used a place a few times and see how it goes after you've become a customer and not just the first time when they want to get your business. I have mixed feelings about this place and maybe it just depends who you're dealing with or who brings in the vehicle how they handle things. We've took our car here a few times , new tires , brakes , shocks and all went fine paid a couple grand. But we have a constant squeak in the front passenger side that I've asked them to look at a couple times and they say it's a break rubbing and basically just deal with it. So we do but with my teen daughter taking over the car it be nice not to just deal with things that can lead to bigger issues. We took our suv to also get tires and breaks as this place is just across the street and the suv fairly new so no squeaks or anything. Had my son drop off his truck just to rotate tires, no rush said it be 3 hours he can walk home being across the street. $25 for something that takes what 15 minutes to do on a lift. All good I get it they gotta make money but you think you bring a few vehicles to them something simple like a tire rotation ya might give a little discount. Seems a women comes in with a flat or such they get taken care of maybe I'll have my daughter or wife bring in the car for it's rotation then again the car probably something we can handle on our own. So I guess if you have a newer car without issues don't mind paying this an easy place to visit get it done and on your way. If the car is older with unexpected sounds and such probably better to use those little hole on the wall that will get down to the source of the issue and want to keep your business. I usually LOVE this location. Wednesday I went in with a flat fix. They told me no appointments were available so I'd have to wait 2 hours. It was 4 hours until my flat was fixed. While I was dropping off my car and waiting for my ride home, a woman came in AFTER me asking to have a tire placed on a new wheel. She magically got in, without any wait, in and out in 15 minutes. She was gorgeous so I wasn't shocked. Unfortunately, I had a second tire go flat on me two days later (I must have driven through something!) and I went on the Tire Choice website and MADE AN APPOINTMENT. I went in at my appointment time and was told it would be a 3-4 hour wait; that they do not honor the appointments from the website and that the appointment system is for lower volume stores. WHY HAVE THE APPOINTMENT FUNCTION THEN?!?!? So I went to another tire shop and got four new tires that were not purchased at Tire Choice. The shop I went to makes and honors appointments, which is more considerate of my time. Their system needs an overhaul to be more thoughtful of other people's time which should include appointments (and honoring those who make them on their website). Such a bummer. read more
