Come here all the time for my state inspections. Always gets done in a timely manner. Today I went in for an oil change and was told my car needed a "maximum" oil change. I was a bit confused as I always just go in and get a normal change and they've never used that verbiage. I believe it had to do with my mileage. Either way, I asked "That's around $31-$30-ish right?" And I was told "yeah like $38." Well, something happened with the car idk honestly lol. They couldn't do the maximum change they had to have full synthetic. Either way!!! When I went in to pay, it was $72!! I was shocked and upset. I said it was supposed to be $38. They apologized and said that they should have called before changing the price, and I said yes I would've liked that because I wouldn't pay $72 for an oil change, never have. So they took it down to the price they quoted me in the beginning. Nice people- always done pretty quickly- usually the same day I bring it in. Would recommend! read more

I had a nail in my tire and I was far away from my home. I pulled up and asked if they fixed tires and they said they do permanent patches for $50 which I didn't have. I had $15 in my pocket and 30 on my uber card. He said he would talk to the mechanic to make a deal with me for $20 and when he came back he told me the mechanic said he would do it for free. I gave him the $15 I had on me and the mechanic gave it back to me and refused to take it! James offers to make a deal with me and Aric sealed it! He wouldn't take my $15! There are good people in this world. Neither one of them looked like me either! I have to add that! I would recommend doing business with these gentlemen! I will do business with them myself and I live on the other side of town. It's hard to find good people these days and when you do we have to hold onto them! I'm adding to this post... turns out I had 2 nails in it and technically they aren't supposed to patch those because they were really close together. Took my car here a couple weeks ago to get it aligned after I had done maintenance. They had the car all day and when I called at 3:30 the excuse was only one mechanic. Okay... so I pick up the car and they say they couldn't align it fully due to needing a kit for rear alignment. Okay. I order the kit and take it back today. I called yesterday and was told yep drop it off and we will get it done tomorrow. I get up early and wake up the woman to pick me up. Dropped off before 7 and I call at 5 and not touched. I was told that they had 8 other cars ahead of me from the day before. Ridiculous. I went back and got my car. I won't give them another penny. Just friggin' ridiculous. Car repairs are expensive, especially with people who wait until the last minute. Don't wait. The longer you wait the more expensive the repairs. They're open 7 days per week. You can't find that ANYWHERE else. I called on a Saturday morning for a brake check and they took me in an hour. Are they busy? Yes. Because they're good. Will you wait a half hour or hour for work to be done? Yes, best to drop it off. Do they help you find a discount and explain all the work and reasons for the charges? Yes. I had an oil change scheduled for 9/4/2023 at the Tiffany Rd location #717. I arrive at 9am and the manager tells me he has no staff and I had to reschedule. Rescheduled for 9/6/23 at 5:30pm. I arrive at 5:30pm manager says still no staff, he will have to do the oil change himself. So why didn't he just do that on Monday. So I ask him about a discount since I came on Monday and had to reschedule, I also asked why I didn't get a phone call to reschedule instead of me driving there to be told to reschedule due to no staff. He says with an attitude that he does not call customers when this happens and will not be giving a credit because it was not under his control that I had to reschedule. I've been coming up here before I could even drive because my dad was so loyal to this location. Including all the changes my boyfriend and I made an appointment for an oil change on Saturday the second or third of February for 11 February for an oil change from 1 to 5 we drop the vehicle off at 1 o'clock they hadn't called us, I told my other half to go ahead and reach out to them he calls and the guy on the phone told him that he was going to be one of the last ones and that they were staying open later and keep his phone beside him so that we could be ready to come pick up the vehicle . We sat there and waited until 6:48 PM came up to the store and nobody was here. The car had not been moved out of the parking spot that we had parked it in when we dropped it off, and his windows were back windows were down because he was letting the vehicle air out since it was such a nice day . We're now up here at 7:30 at the Evening, putting plastic bags on his tire on his windows because they failed to call. They failed to notify us and they did not ask if they want if they were allowed to keep our vehicle overnight. I want corporate to have this taken care of. I am not happy right now and please tell everybody at this Holland location to watch out with Miss Saxon walks in because it's not gonna be pretty when we come to pick up this vehicle , and we've lost all faith in this place. I will never bring any of my vehicles up here again or keep buying tires from this place like I have since the 90s. This place has caused damage to both of my vehicles. First time was last summer when I replaced the rack and pinion on my wife's Explorer and brought it here for an alignment, they forgot to re install the weather boots when they were done and a few months later that new $800 part was no good. They did install a new one for me but I had to purchase a new one and warranty a part that was only bad because of their negligence, not to mention it put my wife out of a car for 2 days. Second time was just last week when I had a misfire in my Jeep. I replace coils, plugs and injectors on my own before bringing it to them, so I knew the problem was in the valve train. I told them all of this when I dropped it off and John in the front said they would get it fixed. The next day I got a call saying the problem is internal to the motor and they can't fix it, holy crap why didn't they tell me they can't fix that when I dropped it off. So I paid them $300 and had to take it to the dealership, where I found out that the cracked the intake manifold, didn't tighten the intake tube clamps and the #2 injector safety clip wasn't secured. The worst part is that I had to pay them $300 to do nothing but my my situation worse. read more

I called over expecting there to be a wait and was pleasantly surprised that they invited me to come right over. I did just that and was greeted by a friendly staff and assisted right away. It was no more than 10 minutes before they had assessed my tire and brought me out to show me what was going on. I was able to use a coupon for my visit and one of the two friendly gals working even told me about their price match on tires. If they carry the same tire they will match the price you have printed out from a competitor...I didnt even know that was a thing in the tire world. Yesterday as luck would have it I got a flat tire. Because I never got the lock key to take out the lug nut out I had to wait for a tow truck since we couldn't fix it ourselves. By the time the towing truck got to us it was almost 6pm and this place is close to us and it close at 7pm. I didn't mind leaving the car overnight but wanted to make sure I was able to talk to someone before dropping it off. I'm always reluctant to go to a shop by my self because I sometimes thinks they will try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge...However, I must say... The lady who received me (very bad at names but know she's from Indiana) was super nice and welcoming as well as one of the techs. They both worked with me and my husband and made us feel like we came to the right place. Left the car overnight and this morning they called to let us know the fix. Both ladies I spoke too gave me options and explained everything. Once we went the techs and the ladies explained everything and they were extremely nice. I do have to say I have a Jeep 2017. Went to the Jeep Service store once for an oil change and asked how much would it be to take the locks out and they said at least $300! So, I said no way... Husband and I will definitely be using this place again and I do highly recommend it. I called them to get a oil change on my wife's van. The lady at the front desk was nice and even offered me a coupon over the phone. I dropped my wife's van off and they told me the mechanic was working on a job and I was next. About three hours later I called them because it was approaching their closing time and the guy said he didn't know it needed done today and he just sent all the mechanics home. I was furious as I was attempting to take my family on a road trip. This was the first time I attempted to use them and will NEVER go back. Last time I was here they got a new tire on my car so I wasn't too late for work, when the other shops around all said they'd have to order my new tire and it would take hours. When I called to check on getting an oil change they said they were pretty busy, so they scheduled me a time to come get my oil changed. When I got there they discounted the synthetic oil. Had my vehicle inspected here for 2015 sticker and it failed for brakes...okay, my brakes are shot, I'll replace 'em. No biggie. I found that the inspector had broken one of my wheel studs and then failed to inform me. Back to the auto parts store for a stud I go. I let it slide and made no big issue of it. This year I figured I'd give them another shot and see if they could redeem themselves as my go-to inspection station. HMPH. My vehicle failed again this year, this time for sway bar end links. Okay, that sucks, but stuff fails right? So when I get the phone call from the gentleman to inform me of the status of my ride and the issues found of course they ask if I'd like to pay them the $148 to fix it. "No thanks, I'll take care of it." So I go back to pick up my ride and I'm not waiting too long to talk to the manager, who was handling the front desk, mind you it was NOT that busy in the joint at all. He explains that the bushings are worn out on my sway bar links. I specifically ask "It's just the bushings? There's nothing broken or cracked or anything like that?" He says "no" and proceeds to show me the diagram sitting on the counter. Worn out bushings seems a little fruity to fail me, but I'm rolling with it. I get the kit today to replace my "worn out bushings" and once I've got my first tire off I notice something funny...the links are completely gone. No bushings, no links, no broken piece of bolt, no nothing where my links should be. I call the guy at Advance where I bought my parts and ask him "Hey, is it customary for an inspection station to take your old parts off and not put them back on?" Is that even legal? What the heck!? And I already knew the answer. Nope. Not kosher, very shady dealings. The gentleman from Advance said what I was already thinking--"It sounds a bit like there was nothing wrong with your bushings to begin with." Thank you very much. So I call the Treadquarters manager and speak with him regarding the matter. "Where are my links? Why did you tell me that my bushings were "worn out" and fail to mention that you weren't going to be reinstalling the links?" He tells me that the links weren't on the vehicle when they inspected it. They weren't on there at all, it was just the bushings sitting there all by themselves. THAT'S ALMOST PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE. Then he tells me that the terms sway bar end links and sway bar end bushings are practically used interchangeably. At this point I realize that I'm being bulljived and I let him know that I know. He apologizes for not informing me that the links weren't on the vehicle, but he also says that he was the only one working the counter and that it was a pretty busy Saturday. He "wishes he had taken the time to explain everything to me more clearly". It wasn't too busy when I went in there to pick up my ride for him to let me know what my truck needed--that's his job! And especially when I specifically asked him if it was simply a matter of worn out bushings! I asked him for the contact information for the Va State Trooper who heads his operation and he told me that he didn't have that information on hand, that it was locked up in the inspector's box. I'm laughing to myself at this point. I'm told I can call back tomorrow and he'll be able to give it to me then. I noticed that on my invoice it read "Customer Wishes to Discard Old Parts", so I asked him about that--I wasn't asked about discarding any old parts and I wouldn't have agreed to that. He says that's just something that's printed on all the invoices. BULL-CRAP!! And if it's true then that's a policy that needs to change; it's misleading and it's probably a lie in every case. To top this whole thing off, once I got off the phone and took the other tire off to attend to that link, I found the plastic sheath had been placed back over a BROKEN LINKAGE BOLT, with the bushings in fantastic shape!!! What the heck!!?? I'm definitely contacting Treadquarters corporate and the Virginia State Police Safety Division. It's become obvious to me that these guys are doing some shady business. read more

Beware!!! Stopped by to have lugnuts checked and tightened on my vehicle. Mechanic went through each wheel and told me I was good to go and to "get home safely". Got about half a mile up the road and started hearing loud knocking from front of car. Called tow truck and found i was missing 3 lugnuts. Not only could this have damaged my car but most importantly it could've been my life or my wife and kids could've been in the car! ABSOLUTE FRAUDS AND A DISGRACE TO OUR COMMUNITY!!! My elderly parents where having some break issues. They told my parents the rotors where fine by their "master mechanic" and charged my elderly parents $1,000 to change their master cylinder, booster pump, and break lines "that had a hole in it". Nothing changed with the break issue my parents where having. So I took the car to the dealership. $800 later ( the dealership was cheaper?) we where told the rotors where the worst they have ever seen (meaning this place never actually looked at the rotors) and changed those to fix the entire issue. The dealership also informed us that the break fluid needed to be changed. which only needs to be changed ever 4-5 years (meaning our master cylinder or booster where never replace). This place will take advantage of you and will rip you off. I would not even trust these people to change my bicycle tire with me watching them. Do not go here even if your life depends on it. Worst customer service ever! Never coming back!! Stop taking advantage of "young ladies" just because they don't know anything about cars! Took my car for state inspection, they passed it but the "manager" Eric told me I need to get my break fluid, cabin filter, and need to clean my fuel system which would only cost $430 plus tax.But since they are super NICE, he would give me a coupon and lower it down to $330. I asked what is needed to get done right away and he said, the break fluid because it's super contaminated.I said okay. I called my dad to check and he said to not let them do anything. I called them back to see if I can still cancel the service, he said let me check with the technician. He forgot to put me on hold and I heard him talked to the technician asking if they already started, the technician said "NO, I'm not working on any Honda." He then came back to the phone and said they ALREADY started. When I called him out and told him I just heard the technician said NO. He freaking hang up on me! And his excuse when I called back and said, "YOU JUST HANG UP ON ME" was because his phone died? Seriously! So rude and disrespectful. Please be fair and honest to your customers! I bought 4 tires, BF Goodridge, 60,000 Mile tires,in August 2014, My back tires are bald after 17,000 miles on them and the manager says there's nothing he can do. This is after he ordered me the wrong tires at first, and then had to wait another week to have them put on.
