Came here after I had to have AAA put air in my flat tire. I wanted to see if I had any leaks or issues with the 2 tires that were giving me trouble. I pulled in and was immediately greeted and I made my request. They let me know how much it was going to cost if there was an issues and then had me sit in the waiting area. went in there yesterday with my brother in law to change four tires. Got a call today from him saying his wheel almost fell off the Chesapeake bay bridge tunnel and lost 2 lug nuts. I called them. They said they did everything in their part. They said on the receipt to check lug nuts after 15 miles. Never have I heard of that before. At multiple tires and also at the dealership I work at. However it does state it on the receipt. So just be aware next time you go here. And out that your trusting the shop to tighten the lug nuts. They repaired my tire for $35 and the next day I drove to and from Virginia Tech which is a 4.5 hour drive. I'd definitely use them again. Called to verify they had my tires in stock. They did! I put off tires for too long but with winter here I desperately needed to replace at least two. I've been to this establishment twice, both times due to a screw from Norfolk's wonderful roads finding its way into my tires. This spot is first come first served but you can always call them and get someone on the phone to tell you about a potential wait. The owner is such a nice trustworthy guy. He patched my tire the first visit in about 30 min for under $30. My second visit he pretty much helped me on the spot. Upon inspection he let me know the screw hadn't actually penetrated my tire and there was no need to patch. He had my tire submerged in water just to be sure and then put it back on my care at no charge. I will absolutely return to this place for service on my vehicle. read more

brought in a 2019 Camry for a flat repair. As soon as I look at the finish product the tire tech scratched the hell out of the rim taking the tire on and off the rim. I guess lube isn't part of the cost for removing and installing a tire. My Daughter also used them, needless to say we had another issue. We got a flat from one of the used tires we purchased from them. Went to put the spare on and 2 lugs were super tight . I was able to take off all but one . It was cross threaded so the stud broke. They didn't take any responsibility for it even though they were the last ones to touch it.I had to replace the stud my self . Maybe in the future use a torque stick or torque wrench and tighten to spec . My opinion, use a professional tire shop. At least they'll own up to their mistakes and make it right. I now go to Costco for flat repairs. read more

This place is ideal for the saying: "don't judge a book by its cover". The facility is located in a rather busy section of Norfolk and can be easy to miss. However, the important thing to note is that the customer service and pricing here are exceptionally hard to beat. I came here on a whim after hitting a pothole and was wondering what was going on with my tire. After pulling in with a flat tire, one of the people in the garage bays was quick to ask me what I needed. Showing him the tire, he inspected it and then called his manager, John to come out and take a look at it. They made a decision to repair the tire but John suggested that for safety reasons, I get a replacement tire (I drove on the tire a bit while it was really flat). Hesitant, I asked how much a used tire would be. The price he gave was unbelievable. He gave me the choice to do either. It was really nice to have a place be honest and give you an option and try not to force you into a sale. Considering how genuine and respectful they were, I went ahead and got the tire. I went to Hector's down the street and had a terrible experience. I found J&M via Yelp and they were efficient, friendly and fast. $25 to patch a nail hole in my tire that has a lifetime warranty because they patch from the inside. These guys took excellent care of me when I slammed into a sneaky pothole and lost a hubcap and bent a rim. Chris straightened out the rim and only charged me the price of a new tire. Also, he put the the rim on one of the back tires to minimize any wobble I might feel. I needed my front tires replaced and they got it done in 20-25 minutes. They were busy, but they queued me up and the wait was about 20 minutes. I also needed my brakes and rotors replaced and I was booked for the next day, since I already had the parts, it only cost $125 per axle. They did it all quick and clean. They talk to each other like good friends and get work done. Other than that, the location is a bit tricky to understand when you have to get into a vehicle bay, but they do a real good job sorting everyone's vehicle. I came in for a used tire the other day around 2pm.I was waived onto the garage without having to park first and and then walk in. They were very slow but the garage area seemed well staffed. I said i need one of those guys, pointing at my left rear. My car waa up and getting worked on in seconds.
