My fiancé called at the beginning of the week, and was able to get my car an appointment for Friday of the same week. All of our interactions with the team members here were positive! Cody took care of our scheduling and check-in, and was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had the car back in less than 24 hours, and it was ready to hit the road. Tires aren't ever going to be cheap ... but this was the best deal we found around NKY, and we'd definitely return the next time we're dealing with a tire debacle. read more

I am absolutely pissed about the way my 2013 Dodge Charger R/T was handled at Tire Discounters. I took my car there for something as basic as an oil change, and somehow they managed to leave oil all over my engine. I didn't even find out how bad it was until I took my car to my mechanic. That is completely unacceptable and shows a serious lack of care and attention to detail. If you can't even do a simple oil change without leaving oil all over someone's engine, you have no business working on people's vehicles. I trusted them with my car and they completely screwed up what should have been a routine service. I'm beyond disappointed and pissed off. I will NEVER take my car back to Tire Discounters again. They get one star only because that is the worst I can give them. I had an 11:00 appointment for a tire rotation. At 12:00, I asked them how much longer it would be and was told I was next. At 12:30 they came over and said it would be another half hour. I left after that. Why make an appointment if they can't come close to the time allotted. Previously on a visit there they took a couple hours to fix a flat that went flat a couple hours later. read more

Had a tire pressure sensor going bad on our Tahoe. After checking the others, they all indicated the batteries were very low. They informed me if I purchased 4 they would only charge me for 3. Arrived upon them opening and they actually started the work prior to normal business hours. Timely appointment but I am commenting on their professionalism. Everybody was very friendly and treated their customers with respect throughout the entire process. Good to see that there are companies that still understand good business practices. Hey Robert S., it seems to me you don't understand what is involved in a 4 hour tire change, how the entire process works, or how any maintenance shop works. Hopefully you had an appointment time set up before hand so that would've save some time. Hopefully the tire's you wanted on your vehicle had been delivered before hand. Hopefully the technician removing the air out of all 4 tires which takes at least 2-3 minutes per tire, removing the old tires, performing the required maintenance checks on the vehicle, Looking over the entire suspension system, the entire hub assembly, brake system, etc....installing the new ones, balancing them, mounting them, torquing the lug nuts, then moving it over to the alignment rack and performing the alignment. If the parts were not there, if the personnel weren't there, if the rack for the alignment was not available, this could hinder how long it took. Sometimes things go wrong. Parts don't arrive, personnel get sick or are not qualified, space is not available. Seems to me you believe in a geocentric model of earth and not a heliocentric model. Sorry your parents raised a spoiled, entitled, person. i am a customer that is understanding, I am a former mechanic, and a veteran and I dislike entitled people that try to make themselves look better by making others look bad. read more

Very poor customer service at the US 42 location. They gave me a quote of $900 for suspension repair and once they start the work they keep asking for more at one pretext or the other. Stuff that was covered in the estimate was charged again. And at the end there appeared to be an oil leakage after the repair which they won't check until paying for the service. Any issue after a $2500 repair should be covered but they keep milking money.. read more

I wouldn't go back here if they were giving tires away. I waited half the day with an appointment. Some psycho came out yelling my wheels hadn't been removed in 15 years after having to go back for a hole in my new tire. It had literally just been weeks since they installed them. She beat on my tires forever trying to get the lug nuts off. I was told they'd supply the lugnuts free to replace them. They did NOT. On the way to work the next day (45 minute highway ride) the sensor showed my tire low. The tire STILL had a leak. The excuse was the hole "was in a bad place" I had to purchase a new tire that was prorated because I purchased the road Hazzard warranty. The cost with the warranty and pro rated tired cost more than buying a new tire. I could have been killed because the psycho girl that screamed at me over my lugnuts THEY put on left my tire unrepaired. I spoke with the manager. He knew exactly who I was speaking of. HE knew she was psycho. He rationalized her behavior saying she was frustrated. Maybe find a job she's capable of doing and not going psycho on paying customers that sit almost 5 hours for her incompetence and dangerous behavior. Making excuses for someone who behaves so crazy is ridiculous. The fact I waited 5 hours and was screamed at over lugnuts they installed and it was all for nothing, my tire wasn't even repaired tells me the manager has the same character. read more

They said my front rotors were grooved, and I said go ahead and replace them and the pads. Now I wish I has taken the time to drive over and see them with my own eyes. Or asked for a photo on my phone. I should have at least asked them to put the old parts in my car for my inspection, and so I did not see them. $400. My records said I just did this (myself) 12 months ago............including the rotors. (for under $200) So their work is fine, but I am not happy with myself. read more

They gave me excellent and fast service. I arrived one hour before closing. I had a tire that was slowly losing air. I'm a pilot car driver for oversize loads so I needed some fast help. Within minutes they had my car in the air, etc. It had a valve leaking. They replaced it and didn't charge me anything. They are great! read more

Horrible place to have your vehicle worked on especially for tires, they will nick up your wheels and put deep scratches in them and blame you for it. Daughter got oil changed 2 weeks ago. 77k miles civic. Left on vacation week after. Come home - pile of oil in driveway. After looking - plug was loose and never put skid plate back on. She is stopping by tomorrow - Monday - hope she is done right. Will keep updated to see if they can get it right. Not the first time we have has issues. I Got tires rotated here for lifetime free rotation. Left - kept hearing rumbling from tires. They never tightened my lug nuts to passenger side tires. Severely dangerous. Bought 4 new tires (for $1,200) and according to the alignment report, the alignment was not properly done and was actually worse than when I brought it in. They said to bring it back, so I made an appointment 2 days later for 9:30 AM. After 2.5 hours my car had not been looked at. All they want to do is slap new tires on your car.... Pay for your alignment and tires somewhere else.... If you value your time, your alignment is NOT free. "Out the door with more" means you go out the door and they have more of your money and you have lost time and overpaid for tires with services that have to be done multiple times. read more

Very friendly bunch, but really lousy diagnosticians and mechanics. I've had my car in for the same two things so many times I have lost count and just discovered it's STILL not fixed. Oh, and something else is broken now. In the last 2 months, I've lost two days of work and have made countless trips to this place to get something diagnosed and repaired that should have been done in one trip. Shop claiming wrong parts (blaming on the dealer), poorly made vehicle, etc... Plan to take my car elsewhere, but I'm trying to get them to take care of the issues they created. read more

If I could leave a zero I would. Never Never trust this place to do ANYTHING!!! Lie lie lie. Even the manage Clint lied to me. Never called me to say come and pick up your car. I lost a days work & while I purchased two tires, I highly doubt they changed my oil like I asked them to. I asked them to please deflate my spare tire and put it back in my trunk in the space provided for it and they said they would. I called back the second time and spoke to the manager Clint and he said he would "personally" see that it was done. Got home & the tire was still inflated and thrown in my trunk. When I arrived, they didn't have an appointment for me. My tires were in the shop but no time to put them on. Set up an appointment for the following Saturday. What an outstanding example of customer service! I had a tire I had purchased prior to moving to the area that ended up being repairable. My 3rd party road hazard covered the tire but I had to take it to a repair shop and pay for the labor to mount it. I was ready to checkout and pay and the manager told me I was all set! The repair was taken care of. It blew me away that a shop would take care of that for me without it being their tire. I am a customer for life after seeing how important customer service is to them! And nowni know that you even get an alignment included whej you buy tires from them! I've never seen any other ship do that! Had an appointment at the Walton location for two very specific tires Drove all the way from Lunken airport only to find they ordered the wrong tires. Tony and Sam at the US 42 store in Florence had two of the right tires in stock They were very busy but still took me right in . They even beat Walton's quoted price by over $40 read more

Then given a quote almost $200 more and discount promised not on it. Then was told need to spend an extra $50 for them to do the alignment they promote to be free!! The things I needed done were somewhat sophisticated and certainly not ordinary. I brought in a class b motorhome and wanted to improve the handling characteristics. This involved special order shocks and their help getting the perfect tires. Additionally I wanted their advice on the use of bump stops in the rear suspension. They were the best. Due to some delays on my part I had to leave it overnight and they offered to tell me it would be stored inside any night it was there. Total knowledgeable pros and a pleasure to work with. Took both my cars here for their oil change and tire rotations on two different Saturdays. Both times took over an hour, but I chalked it up to being a weekend and busier. The second time I came in there was no place to even sit in the waiting room and they had no outside seating. The waiting room at this location is no different then the old Florence location. I'm not sure why they are doing all this rebuilding and opening stores just for people to have to stand by a bunch of tires for an hour. At least ONE location in Mariemont has a proper waiting room. Anyhow, both times I visited the same men were working the weekend. They didn't go out of their way to provide good service, barely even talking, and provided no info about the car or what was done. One gentleman couldn't have been more dismissive to every customer who came in without an appointment. Almost the first thing out of his mouth "we don't have time for that today". Really? You couldn't have looked at the tire he hauled in while the other guy working the desk was doing nothing? I bought my tires for one of my cars at this location in 2013 and had a very good experience. Sad to say how quick they have gone down hill. I won't stop visiting TD, but I will this location. read more
