made an appointment for 8 am June 27, 2026. made appointment on line on June 25, 2026. received verification text that same night. received reminder on th 26th of appointmen. got another reminder on morning of the 27th. I arrived at 7:45 am for 8 am appointment. only to be told that I should have called to verify appointment by manager because the internet system they have doesn't work too good. ( I had set up previous appointments for different services. tires oil changes, etc.). So manager had no mechanic schedule to come to work til ten am. On a day that had a 8 a m appointment. and shop opened at 7. why would a manager open at 7 and not have mechanic there til 3 hours after shop opened. I have done business with Tires Plus for over 30 years. Most of that being in Wisconsin. last 2 years with this shop. I do not recommend this shop or will I use this location again. My parents had a terrible experience today. I downloaded the $24.99 coupon, set up an appointment and write in the comments that we had the coupon, and all the car details. When my parents got my car there, the guy in the office (tall, with glasses) told them rudely that it would cost $48 for my Toyota Corolla and they couldn't get the coupon price. When they said it was what they wanted, he said they'd have to sign a waiver, holding them harmless if my car stalled in the middle of the road. My parents turned to leave and he suddenly discovered that he could actually give us the standard oil change with no issues. He was still rude to them the rest of their time there. We will never return. The rudeness and the attempts to intimidate two senior citizens into a more expensive service is not something I will tolerate. I took my company car there to have the tires checked and see if my fleet company would replace them. I let them know my low tire pressure was on and it was due to a problem with my left rear tire. Its low but there a problem with the stem that makes it hard to inflate. I pick up the car and they say they completed a wheel alignment but the fleet company did not approve tire replacement. I get in the car and the low pressure light is still on, no biggie it will go out before I get home. I arrive home 2 miles away and the light doesn't go out. I call the shop and guy at the desk tells me it could 5 to 10 minutes before the light will go out, In my experience it only takes less than 5 minutes as I usually drive around my neighborhood and it goes out in less than 2 miles. I check my tire pressure and the left rear is at 26, the other are between 32 and 33. They should be at 36 PSI. I JUST LEFT A TIRE REPAIR SHOP THAT DID NOT CHECK MY TIRE PRESSURE!!! Car needed fixing due to knocking in the front end. after wasting several days and paying $400 to have it fixed. The issue still remains. When I drove off the lot, nothing was fixed. The exact same clunking sounds still existed. I was assured that it was fixed and not making the sound anymore. They obviously didn't drive the car after it was fixed to verify resolution. Now they're saying the knocking is coming from my driveshaft and I need a longer one due to the lift kit on my Jeep. I asked about the $400 previously paid, and they said that repair was any way necessary to do the alignment. Stay away from this shop!! They don't know what they're doing, terrible communication, and just guess at what is wrong. UPDATE: I took it to another shop. In 5 minutes and a test drive, the mechanic identified the sway bar link was loose. Tightened it and everything was fine. Stay away from this Tires Plus Location! read more

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!!!!DO NOT USE THIS STORE!! especially if your a WOMAN!!! went in for squeaky belt, they fixed it. BUT then the recommended items to be done. They sent pictures of everything BUT the motor mount that Hosea said I needed. So I set up an appointment to have motor mount replaced. when I go in there they state they don't know which one!! Took 4 hrs for them to tell me which one and they had to order the piece. They give me estimates and pictures of everything else but motor mount! Piece comes in, take it in for couple hour job. it took 6-8 hours. They didn't test drive it or anything. They ALL knew the car wasnt running right. I finally got car home and call them. They said bring it in the morning. I go at 9am on 7/21 store wasn't even opened until after 9, just to be told mechanics don't come in until 10am. So I waited. One guy said they damaged the other motor mount, then was told motor mount they installed was defective. So the manager said he was ordering an another part but I had to call him and remind him. So since I contacted corporate he said my piece was at the bottom of his to do list. So now I cannot go to work!! I've already taken off 2 days for this runaround. PLS if you don't want to be in a court room with Tire Plus, think twice before you pull in this place. read more

It saddens me to have to write this bad review. I moved to Cincinnati a little over 3 years ago and was delighted to find a semi-local service station with great service, great techs....just great everything. Michel Tires Plus was the only place I'd ever found that could actually FIX my car where all other service providers failed. But things have changed in the past few years... The past three times I've gone to Michel Tires Plus in Florence, I've walked away upset or disappointed. I just walked away today for the third and last time because after having left it there for over 24 hours and being told what time I could pick it up, no one at the shop bothered to start working on my car until I showed up to pick it up. It was utterly frustrating to have to sit and wait for more than an hour for someone to start working on my car, and I even had to cancel another appointment elsewhere because my vehicle was not ready. To add insult to injury, the cost of the repair was almost $100 MORE than I was quoted on the phone. The manager, Joel, apologized for the misquote and claimed the employee who quoted the price was new and forgot to add taxes into the quote. $100 worth of taxes?! What actually happened was that there was a very pricey diagnostic added to my services without my prior knowledge or consent. Joel was kind enough to take $30 off of that, and explained that the supposedly new employee should have explained things to me clearly beforehand. While I agree with his assessment of the situation, it didn't change the fact that I had to cough up almost $100 MORE THAN I EXPECTED...after waiting almost two hours for a car that should have been ready when I arrived at 3pm. It appears as if there are a lot of new employees at this location, and it's becoming more of a hassle to deal with the quirks associated with rapid turnover than it's worth. When I went in, they told me that those tires were too difficult for them to get and the best they could do was another set for $750. Visiting from out of town, and the underbody shield clips had broken and the shield was nearly dragging on the ground. I needed to have this fixed before driving back home on the interstate. Brought it in to the shop and the very nice team had it fixed within an hour or so. Then, they told me there was no charge!! I will definitely be back and would use them anytime! read more

The manager at Michel Tires has super knowledge about the company and service. I was so impressed with my last visit. I bought a set of tires from him, he gave me the best price. I usually go to the one in Erlanger on Dixie hwy but they couldn't fit me in so I came here. I called before I came up to make sure they had time to do it and they said they could. I've been waiting for 2 hours and they just took my truck back. Its a Wednesday night and there's only one other car here- every worker walks around like they have nothing to do, not in a hurry, just a bad experience. My husband needed tires fast and we were in the area but didn't have an appointment. I called and they said they had no available appointments for the day but to just stop in, then they'd try to get to us whenever they could. I wasn't going to come in because it didn't sound like a sure thing but my husband called back to ask more questions. What they meant was if we waited they'd squeeze us in whenever they could so we went. We had to wait about an hour and a half which sucked but at least we got it taken care of the same day. We also paid more than I wanted to pay but I guess tires are just expensive. They offered credit cards with a 0% APR for a limited time... but who wants a credit card for a tire company??? The people were nice; at least they had magazines and a newspaper to read while waiting. I don't know if I'll ever go back. When I received the repair estimate he said the $60 coupon had already been applied to the price-but I never mentioned a coupon. We have been using Michel's franchise locations since before we moved to the Cincinnati area from the Orlando, FL suburb of Ocoee and have never had a bad experience. Thanks to tiresplus.com there is not a need to pay full price for most services, just log on, and use the store locator to find discount coupons for your neighborhood location. For the most part, I trust them; within the last year, I dropped off the truck for an oil change and got a call from the service adviser suggesting that the main engine belt be replaced because it was showing wear and cracks. At $90+ dollars it was not exactly welcome news, but based on my past experience with this location and the franchise in Ocoee, I felt comfortable in telling them to go ahead with the replacement, without inspecting the belt myself. On another occasion, the service advisor told us that because of the synthetic oil blend we were using and the model years of our vehicles, we did not to change the oil as often as we had been, suggesting changing every 5000 - 6000 miles instead of every 3000. On the other hand, we invested $50+ in a suggested fuel system cleaning that an after the fact web search led me to believe could have been accomplished with a $7 off the shelf additive from any local auto parts store. It's is a great peace of mind feeling to have an auto repair place you can trust, for me that is Michel's. read more

I went in their to just get routine oil changes on my cars, one of which happens to be an older model Mercedes from 1972 that turned out to be quite tricky! Joel, Zach and Scott took great care of my car and gave me excellent customer service, and didn't even charge me extra, even though they had to do a LOT of extra work. I was taking my autos to Michel Tires Plus on 42 in Florence. I took my Kia Sportage there and they told me I needed a new radiator and would need new brakes and rotars. I had them replace the radiator. I had to actually borrow $700 for the repair! I thought about it because I had been putting a lot of money into this car. The guy there knew I needed to weigh whether or not it was worth this kind of cost to fix the car because I had conferred with them about other repairs. He assured me that this repair and brakes/rotars would make the car safe to drive. So, I borrowed the money, and I got the car back and a friend said he'd fix the brakes and rotars for me. The man at Michel tires told me the car would be drivable when I got the brakes fixed and that it was metal to metal. He said I would eventually need a clutch fan but that I didn't need it yet. That is all he said to me. I was taking the car to my friend. I had a friend following me so I could leave the car there and have a ride back. I was at a stop light on 27 in Highland Heights right about at the entrance to NKU- an extremely busy stop! My hood flies open, smoke is everywhere, smoke and white fluff blow into the car throught the vents and white stuff flows out of my hood and lands on neighboring cars. I was wearing sandals so my feet were burned with steam and hot air from the floor vents. I took my foot off the brake and my car moved forward but the light wasn't green yet. I panicked at the burning sensation on my feet. My friend behind me and the cars around me thought my car had litterally blown up and that I was going to die. I wasn't sure what happened! It was a terrifying experience. I got the car off the road with assistance by nearby drivers. I got witness info and called my friend who was going to fix the brakes. He came up and we called Michel tires. They came and towed the car back to their shop. Later that day they tell me I need a Heat "lamp" or "board" or something. This was like $1000 to fix! I told them to take the radiator off and return it and my money that i couldn't afford to put more money into this car, expecially $1000 more after I'd just borrowed $700. They refused. They refused to help me at all! I explained my feet were burned, I may even be liable if the surrounding cars were damaged by the flying stuff that landed on their cars. THIS BUSINESS COULD CARE LESS! I called a friend of mine and he opined that they knew if they told me the repairs were nearly $2000 I definitely wouldn't have repaired it so they gave me the least expensive and they knew I'd be bringing it back for another temperature related repair and they were banking on that I'd just spent $700 which would almost require me to go the additional repair. They never warned me I needed a heat board or anything else. I ended up junking the car. I still owe for the repair that was absolutely useless. I'm a single mom and I have to watch every penny. I hope that no one else gets duped by Michel Tires in Florence, KY! read more

I have all three cars serviced here. The store manager & Service manager have been there for 6+ years & live in the area as well as work there. Competitive pricing (they will beat other estimates from like facilities no problem, so far they have had the best price) have great warranties nationwide. They are owned by Bridgestone ( huge co.) , they have even given me rides bk to work when the work needed, would take several hours to complete, just ask them. I've always been dealt with with honestly & respectfully. I really love the hours & they are my one stop place for car repair, major or minor repairs. Ohh just mention the coupons u know they have out @ the time & they will always give them to you, however u have to mention them. I get 19.99 oil changes everytime when we go- it seems to always be the special? Compared to surrounding auto shops they are friendly & easy to talk too. If there has ever been a problem with service it has always been corrected fast & to my satisfaction from the store manager. The other managers seem capable of satisfying all customers which is great but if they can't satisfy your concern the manager has always rectified any & all concerns. read more

If I could give NO stars, I would. We bought 4 tires for a Mercedes c300. The front and rear tires are different sizes. They were late getting the car completed, I didn't care about that thinking I wanted them to do a good job. When I checked their work (done by their expert guy), he had installed the front tires on the back and rear on the front. If I had not noticed it would cause $2000 of damage to the front end. Their rude expert argued with me about the mistake and told me I would have to wait till he completed two other jobs (3.5 hours). I asked to speak to the person in charge who was at least courteous and they swapped the tires. I then noticed a rubbing noise. Again the expert argued with me even after I showed him damage to my front shock. They had not only installed the wrong size tires front and rear, but they had installed the front tires on the rear rims, etc. Had I not noticed that too, I could have died on the highway. What shoddy work! They damaged my rims, all of them. They never apologized or offered to fix my rims or anything. DO NOT GO THERE FOR ANYTHING IF YOU VALUE YOUR VEHICLE AND LIFE!!!!!!!!! read more

Its one thing to be incompetent, another to be dishonest. I will try to keep this short, I was replacing the brake pads on my car, one of the calipers (the thing that presses the brake pad ) froze. I had replaced the brake pads on 3 of the 4 wheels, and the rotors were fine on all of them. I gave up and had it towed up to Tires plus, gave them the brake pads in case they would install them (most shops won't install any parts unless they supply them, and get to mark them up 50%), and told them that all they need to do is replace the caliper on the single wheel. After waiting 24 hours the shop called me and told me that my inspection showed I needed new break pads on all 4 wheels and rotors. I reminded them that I just asked them to change a caliper, and that I had just replaced all of the brake pads and that the rotors were fine, let the stuttering begin. He said he couldn't put on the break pads I brought, and wouldn't let me leave the lost unless he put his break pads on the car. I mentioned a call to the police department might change his mind. Bunch of dishonest ass $%&#, trying to turn a $70 job into $700. Guess they got kids to put through college, and the bad part is they always hit the people who need there cars and cant afford these kind of expensive repairs, they have no issues doing repairs that don't need done, no souls.
