Can't say enough good things about this location. We b have been taking our vehicles here for at least 15 years. Service is great, and the employees do what is needed to satisfy our needs. The wife had a tire go flat on her vehicle. I had it towed to Tire Discounters. Bill and his crew received this vehicle around 2 p.m., and we drove it out with 4 new tires at 7 pm. I have seen several bad reviews for this loc, but either we are lucky, or the reviews are very biased. Nothing but great service here for us! read more

I had an appointment at this shop recently. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was told the wait would be about 1.5 hours, but it ended up taking over 4 hours with no updates or communication.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] While waiting, I witnessed several concerning practices: technicians working without safety glasses or gloves, and one employee actively vaping while busting tires. This is extremely unprofessional and a serious safety hazard -- especially when they need to test drive customers' vehicles. I chose not to leave my car with them. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this shop to anyone. read more

Would leave 0 stars if i could. Got my tires replaced here: 4 new tires, tire rotation, tpms sensor replacement, alignment, and oil change. Prior to dropping off my car, everything worked perfect perfectly. When getting my car back I noticed a crack in my windshield and that my tire pressure sensors weren't reading. I was told to come back the next day- where a guy told me the sensor in my back tire probably "ran out of battery" but they could replace for $80. I questioned was I not given the new tpms sensors that I paid for? oh that is a different piece on that sensor... strange, but OK I said that I would take it home and order the piece myself. After that, he came back and said that he noticed that there was damage to the sensor and they would replace it for "free". That fixed one problem, but still leaves me with a cracked windshield. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They told me it would take a little bit to review footage. I said no problem and waited over the last 2 months. I've called 5-6 times in that span to try to see if they had reviewed anything.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I called again today, and was told that the footage shows that they did not do any damage to my windshield. I told them that that was strange since it sure wasn't not cracked before bringing it in and I asked if I would be able to review the footage myself in case something went flying or anything. Also strange that they had no intention on letting me know. He said no problem and he would send it over, but it might take a few hours. Then I get a call back saying that they don't have pictures from the original crack and that they would like to fix this for me and resend in a claim. I make my way there and met with someone to take photos. Then [[HIGHLIGHT]]Joe comes out, tries to make me feel bad because he's some special guy that had to come from Cincinnati![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I told him he could've come anytime in the last two months but okay and then he said that there's no possible way that we could've cracked your windshield- yeah I mean I wouldn't hope so but again it was perfectly fine prior and you guys damaged another part of my car without realizing. I didn't fight with him, but I did tell him I would still like to look at the footage. He refused and said that it didn't matter because they couldn't have done it, and that I could try my insurance and if they wanted to make a claim to tire discounters then to go ahead. I asked why I was asked to even waste my time coming out there- lol. Either way the entire situation was very unprofessional and it seems like they only want to help you or replace something for "free" when they know it's their fault. I don't think anyone has even looked at the footage, but I will not be back. Now I understand why everyone says that Tire Discounter's sucks. That's all on my rant- KY has free windshield replacement anyways, it was more the principle for me. read more

The good news is they installed my tires and I can't complain about that. The bad news is this is a shop that tries to scam you into expensive repairs. I am a DIY car guy. I just did my brakes and checked for wheel bearing and suspension issues two weeks ago. this place told me my control arms were totally broken and destroyed. The best part was my car is a more rare car and you have to order the part and it will take a week to get it. But they told me they can do the job today. I got home and checked and control arms are totally fine. The car is tight and handles perfectly. The lesson here is shops try to prey on people and pretend like they are doing you a favor. At the end of the day, if you take your car in and it's driving fine, don't let the shop tell you something is wrong. read more

The service to repair the problem was great. Recently installed tire sensors had already gone bad. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My issue was with not being kept informed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had a 9am appointment, my car did not go into the bay until after 10am. After sitting there for about 45 minutes, which was longer than I should have. I went to the front desk to talk to someone at the counter. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The person explained that they had a couple issues with vehicles that had come in earlier, and they would get to my car as soon as possible.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]All I ask is to be kept informed, after 20 minutes or so, come out and tell the lobby we are having issues with a couple of the vehicles and we will be with your vehicles as soon as we can.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I saw 2 people leave because of the slow service and lack of information being given to waiting customers. read more

I was traveling for the holidays when I had a flat tire. When I got to the store it was about a half hour before closing. Obviously I was concerned about the time. I went there to have a tire fixed. Their price is 2Xs Walmart and then I was told I needed calipers, rotors and brakes. The charge would be $1500. I said thank you. When I took it to my mechanic, after Jeff Wyler Honda told me I only needed rotors and brakes and using after market it would only be $500 - my mechanic said I didn't need brakes. I purchased a new tire less than two months ago from this establishment. The tire self destructed on the highway yesterday. When I asked about any kind of warranty they informed me that there has never been a defective tire sold there. I wax told this before they ever even seen the tire. So be warned, if anything should go wrong with their product after driving away they will not stand behind it. You will be responsible for it. I dropped the tire off at 10:00am and they told me it would take about an hour to get another tire to put on. After 8+ hours I called them and they informed me it was done. [[HIGHLIGHT]]So be warned, they will not call you to inform you of the status or when the job is finished.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A company that operates like this is self destructing like their product did. This location had us wait 3 hours to locate the problem, which in my mind is unacceptable for poor workmanship within their business. BAD SERVICE!!! I have never in my life witnessed or experienced the aggression and threats from a General Manager of a store. First off you ask me when I come in rudely what I am in for? When I go to begin my response of "I'm here for the price of the inspection for things you guys found wrong a day ago" you then cut me off ask me where my key is I show it in my hand and you just grab it and run off not telling me what your doing or anything. I go outside seeing my car is gone. In which I had to look around the whole building finding you (Corey) in the back just talking away with me frustrated and confused on where my car had went and why I wasn't informed you had began another inspection that was done prior. You (Corey) had no concerns about me as a customer and if I had things to do for my afternoon. I was given no explanation or reasoning to why you guys had lost my paperwork that I had asked for copies of when I got the inspection the day before. The man (Willie) who had helped me that night denied that he was the one who helped me at all and I asked why it seemed no one in the building is concerned about the issue I have at hand with (Corey) just yanking my keys and car without discussing anything with me. (Willie) then goes and tells (Corey) the GM that I am still expressing my concerns in which I hear loud and clear (Corey) say "I'll tell him to get the f*** out" not realizing I'm standing right around the corner. (Corey) progresses to walk up to the counter basically tossing my statement onto it causing the papers to fall on the floor as he pushes my key towards the edge and says "he isn't the one to f*** with" and what is that supposed to mean. The whole time while he is running his mouth, cussing, threatening to kick my a**, asking me non-stop to come back into the store so he can so call kick my a**. While thinking he can follow me outside the store front door still threatening, cussing, calling me a loser and stupid and that he'll make sure no one around any town will work on my car then as my fiancé drives off with her car he makes statements about her and rambles on about being this and that. No one like COREY should ever be running a store especially if you can't handle the pressures of your day to day job and I'm like the third customer I've witnessed you bump heads with in one day today. I was provided no corporate number or any apologies at all. Employees just do a stare down and yell things as I drive off. When I left I noticed my car was in more worst shape then when they took it from me. Now I'm in fear that they had intentionally done something worst to my car. It wobbles and shakes in which it did not at all before this experience. 10/10 don't recommend and I will need to hear from corporate since I supposedly can't go to any other location according to your GM Corey. I drive my kids and such In this car each and everyday and now someone as in me and maybe others have to fear their safety because it seems to be an abuse of power and threatening circumstances coming from A GM and location. I ran over a nail and it was in the tread of my tire. I thought I would be able to have it patched, but Jim pointed out to me how old my tires were, as well as worn down, and rotted out. He wasn't wrong. I hadn't checked my tread in a long time and it was getting very low, even dry rotting in some spots. Jim took the time to not only explain all of my tire options to me, but to talk to my dad over the phone and explain it all again to him. He was fantastic! They have a waiting room inside, although there are many restaurants and a mall about a mile or so away if you're up for a walk or something else to do while you wait. They got my car in and out with all new tires in less than 3 hours. read more

Wish I had the option to leave no stars. Went for my first "FREE" tire rotation at Florence, KY Tire Discounters. I look up and this 18 year old kid was grinding the paint off my brake rotor hat. A back story on me: I take care of my car myself including all services and anything else it needs. Tire balancing and alignments are the only things that don't justify me buying expensive equipment to do myself. All the workers back there were ACTUALLY TRYING TO CONVINCE ME that it was good practice and that it was what they do to EVERY CAR!!!! One of the workers said it's okay, you need brakes soon anyways!!! Definitely stay away from this place. read more

Tonia answered the phone, heard i was panicked, and even though they were fully booked and 30 minutes to close, she told me to come down right away. When we got there, Tonia was so nice and extremely helpful. they ended up saying way past close to get my tire fixed. She walked me through everything they did and why they were doing it. Gave me some awesome tips for my car. Tonia, if you see this thank you so so so much. When I bring my car here to get oil changes, tires rotated, or anything else, I'm treated with respect and they get my car in and out of there. Took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. Service was done in about 1 hr. Technician came out and told me it was ready but my car was blocked in by a semi. I figured ok, about 10 mins. I waited an hour for this semi to move and free up my car. What kind of customer service was that. In addition, they charged me over $150 for the service. Been coming to TD for years. Ive never had an issue until today.. my car had an appointment for oil change and tire rotation at 11am. Said it would be about an hour, no big deal. I dropped it off 945 in case they could do it earlier. 1140am they call and say that they stripped the oil pan somehow and need to find a new one (free of course). 1210 I call and ask if it'll be ready before kids pick up and my appointment. They said they're still looking. 1230 they found the part and are JUST leaving to get it (drive is 30 minutes there 30 minutes back) 215 I call and ask if it's ready because I leave at 230 to get my kids. The guy tells me the person JUST got back and they're working on it. I told him I was told 2 hours ago it was getting picked up and he's JUST NOW getting back? He laughs and said, "well.. it is a ways away (Beechmont)". he'll try to hurry. Here I am 310 no phone call or anything. What would happen if I didn't have my parents car to get the kids? I arrived for my appointment 15 minutes early, and first thing I'm asked is would I like to set up another appointment because it's going to take at least 3 and 1/2 hours to balance and rotate my tires? You weren't even mad a bit that I came in on Friday night when you were closing in two hours. Tire Discounters of Florence, Kentucky on Fuller Street is by far the worse I have ever dealt with! They ordered back brake pads, back rotors, back calipers and were supposed to do a full break flush, 4 wheel alignment, oil change and replace the front brake pads that I gave them... all labor and parts for $1,300.00 and full warranty. They have had my car 10 1/2 hours now and still not finished and now saying they can not warranty my parts that they previously promised! This is ridiculous... don't waste your time coming here for other than a patched tire or maybe tire replacement! By far the worse I have dealt with in my life time!! read more

Came here today to get a tire patch. They didn't do anything, even though I brought it in specifically letting them know that I had a leak and needed a patch. I got home from work today and noticed the audible sound of air escaping from my front right tire. The tire was deflating quickly, and tire discounters florence was the closest place I knew that I could get my vehicle to in hopes that it would be patched and ready to go so that I would have no doubts or worries about making it to work on time tomorrow morning. I called and the woman on the phone assured me that I could bring my car in, and it would be taken care of same day without any worries, even though they close at 8pm. (this took place around 5pm). I dropped off my car in a hurry because I knew I had limited time before the tire was completely deflated. I was reassured by the kid at the front desk that it would be ready to go same day, and that I would receive a call when it was done. I received a call around 8pm. I informed them that I was on my way to pick it up. I get there and the kid at the front desk tells me that the rim was off just a bit, which was creating the leak and that the problem was solved and no payment was necessary. I was ecstatic. As this place had in the past, really screwed me over before, as well as multiple family members. One of which, was my little brother who needed his brakes done on his truck, and they neglected to reset the ABS system creating an extreme safety hazard as the computer system was not braking In sequence with the brakes themselves. (He took it back to them and they still neglected to fix it so he gave up. Eventually sold the truck) Anyway, I said thank you, grabbed my keys, got back out to my car and checked the tire. It was still leaking. I get in the car and turn the battery on, the air pressure light was still on. All they did was put air in the tire. That was it. There's no way, that they didn't notice it was still leaking as the literal sound of the air escaping the tire was loud as hell. Not even taking into consideration that they clearly didn't even check to see if the tire pressure light was still on. So honestly I can only assume that my car was the last in line for the night and they just wanted to go home. So they filled the tire with air, and gave me a bs story about how everything was fixed and ready to go thinking I was some idiot who wouldn't notice until way later. I will never ever ever ever take my car there ever again. Maybe I am an idiot for giving you guys another shot. Now I have to find a ride to work tomorrow morning. Thanks again guys. Recently I had a problem with my brakes and we discovered that my last brake job was only 9 months ago, so without question, they gave me a new brake job, pads & rotors, for no charge! Defective parts I was told. That's the kind of service I have come to expect out of these guys. If I have just one complaint over the years, it is the fact that the managers come and go to different locations, so just when I get to know one, they have moved on to another store and I have to re-train a new one! ;-) read more

I have been going to TD for many years, and along the way I have dealt with really great guys!! I completely trust them and never worry that I'm being lied to about work my cars need. I had my first experience at this location and I am even happier!! I have followed one of the managers I met over 8 years ago to all of his TD stores and I'm really going to take advantage of this location. The waiting area is really nice and comfortable.
