Paid for tie rotate and balance last time I had it done it lasted about a week, and no l didn't land in a pot hole. Barely drive 30-50 miles a week and mostly right here in Hendersonville. The mechanics there are not same ones there from 2016 that I rember. This past week took my wife's jeep in to repair tire, $43 dollars later tpm will not turn off, they put 42 psi in others tires I keep them at 36 as per mfg. not only am I having to replace the tpm sensor her sun visors have dirty smears on them both sides, why? No reason for them to, makes me wonder if they were going through my car. But any way won't be back don't trust them nor do I feel I get quality work. read more

Something has happened at this location. The customer service is not good anymore. When I asked initial technical questions about the service I requested it was meet with yeah we do that but it will cost you more. Instead of answering my questions. When I returned to pick up my vehicle I asked what they found and requested any technical information found during the service. They said they didn't know/remember the technical information. It shouldn't be a bother when someone requests information like this. Also, 1 individual was very dismissive. I chalked it up to them having a bad day or they were extremely busy. Made an appointment to just get my tires rotated and balanced. Stayed there 45 mins to get done and turns out they didn't even rotate the tires... took pictures before hand and they didn't change spots, so went back and talked with Melissa about it and she said they just had a kid/young guy in there who just didn't do it. So I went to get an oil change that comes with a free tire rotation. I was given this information. I didn't even ask about a tire rotation. I know how these places do so I decided to take pics of my tires before getting my service. I know every nic and ding on my rims. They call me up and tell me about all this other stuff I need done to my car. So I tell them with my next oil change I will get that taken care of. I pay my total of $113.58 for an oil change and come out to my car. I check my tires and as you know they haven't rotated a damn thing, although my receipt shows a free tire rotation was done. You know it's hard enough out here without everyone trying their hardest to get over on everyone else!!!! Like do the fucking tire rotation if that is what you are advertising and having the audacity to tell me you are going to do and it's free. I had two other vehicles I get serviced here for years. I have been going to Tire Discounters since 2016. I have never had a problem until a couple of weeks ago. I went to Hendersonville, TN main street location. A different store manager. I got a brand new set of four tires on my Chevy Impala. I got a friend to pick me up before we finished breakfast they called car was ready. I was so excited went in paid. Got to Rivergate stopped to get gas and noticed a huge big scratch on my rim. I begin to walk around and noticed everyone of my rims were scratched 2 worse than the other. I immediately called hadn't been 15 minutes. Melissa the manager said oh no worries if we did anything we will replace them. I get back there 15 minutes later. Melissa and guys from the shop comes out takes pictures acknowledges they see it. Melissa makes a call and said she has to submit it for investigation. Ok for me no problem yet you told me on the phone it would be replaced. This is a Thursday I call back Friday it's out my hand just wait patiently. I call Monday and Melissa is very impatient with me saying it's Monday. They are probably busy. She begin to get very irritated and basically hung up. September 21st was my day of Service. No one to this day has contacted me. I have waited patiently. After the manager was rude and hung up. I love Tire Discounters I have taken multiple vehicles and have bought 3 sets of tires on different cars. I have sent several of my church members and Realtors friends here. This is unacceptable and I asking from assistance since this is out of Melissa control as the manager. read more

I phoned early morning verifying the availability of the tire that I needed. The tech confirmed. I asked for an appointment to have the one tire replaced and she gave me 11:30. It was 3:00 when the mechanic pulled my tire into the bay and finished in 15 minutes. While I do understand the appointment she provided was her best guess, it was an awful guess (poor if you ask me given the info she had). I did not have a good experience at all. She had only on tire mechanic on duty with several customers ahead of me. There was no way that he would get to me at 11:30. I could've delayed my arrival until after lunch at least. They should simply stop accepting appointments because it sets an ill-advised expectations leaving TD exposed to disappointed customers. read more

The service was probably fine but the young lady behind the counter did not know what she was doing. The cost for the service is supposed to be $84.99 (regular price) with immediate discount of $25 and a mail in discount of $20. The young lady behind the counter would not provide the mail in portion of the transaction and she added a $30 "fee" for labor . . . now I'm paying for a $115 oil change . . . glad I found out about their practices before I purchased new tires. I've had my oil changed here before and it was $64. Best to get the price in writing with this company. read more

Came in for a tire rotation and front end alignment at Tire Discounters Hendersonville. I was astonished to see all 4 wheels damaged afterwards. Spoke with Melisa and she said she had someone in Goodlettsville to look at them. They told me they couldn't repair them without making them solid black. Melisa talked about replacing them and then decided to set up an appointment with a mobil wheel repair contractor. I showed up at the time of appointment....he wasn't there. A real customer comparison (and lesson learned). After having been a long-time customer of Discount Tire, I ventured to Tire Discounters for new tires last winter. I made the change mainly due to their "free alignment with new tires". That trip was painless and is the only reason I give them two stars now. Fast forward to now . . . after having a flat tire, I went into Tire Discounters for repair. After waiting in a line 7 deep with one attendant working the front, I was told my car would be ready by noon. I waited until 2 and found my car still in the lot, untouched, when I arrived. The attendant working the front desk told me he would fix the tire and perform my rotate/balance himself, which he did; but, the next morning as I was trying to leave town to visit a relative on their deathbed, my tires were so shaky, I had no choice but to return to the store (they weren't answering their phone). The same one employee was working - dressed in shorts and a white undershirt - and informed me he was the ONLY one at the store and his ONLY tech wasn't due in until 9:00 (store opens at 8). He tried to call their 2nd local store to see if they could help (no answer at that store either). In tears of frustration, I left and decided to eat crow with Discount Tire and beg their help. Upon arrival at Discount Tire, I was met in front of the store by a professionally dressed young woman who got me checked in . . . I was almost immediately called to the counter by one of the professional FOUR gentlemen at the counter. After confessing my disloyalty, they explained it would be about a 2.5 hour wait but they would get me taken care of. I proceeded to ask them if it would harm my tires/car to drive as it was, as I needed to get to the hospital in east Tennessee. They immediately told me not to worry and they would get it taken care of. Not only did they bump be to first in line, they re-balanced my tires and had me back out the door in less than 30 minutes at no charge. The number of techs they had working in the back looked like a busy any colony. From a customer perspective, a COMPLETELY different experience that has taught me a good lesson! I write the comparison on BOTH company pages (albeit a 5 star review for Discount Tire) in praise for one company's leadership and in hopes the other might take something away from it. read more

Went in to hendersonville fir oil change. Supposedly had a coupon for a discount before end of year. The sign on counter said 64.95 for everyday price. Ended up costing 75.00 where was the discount? Also they left all 7 screws out of the cover underneath. I discovered it dragging the road as I was driving later. Had to stop and pay for someone else to put screws back on it. I was first person there and I was advised they could not rotate my tires until the next day due to the lift needed for my truck was already in use. I asked them why they couldnt use floor jacks which you could see in their garage. They didnt have an answer...went to their competitor across the street without issue. read more

When I had my oil changed, they did not even check the air in my tires, they were all low. I had to go somewhere else to have air put in my tires. Not sure if they checked the fluids in my car, they did not go over anything with me at checkout. I guess for $39.97 synthetic oil change, all they do is take the old oil out and put in new oil and that is all... I was kept waiting over 2 hours for a simple tire rotation. I ask them how much longer it would be. I was told there were 3 people ahead of me. I had a 8am appointment which i arrived on time for. They took in men before me and got them out quickly. I will not be back even though i bought my tires here and was suppose to get free tire rotation. It's not right to keep someone waiting who has an appointment. I feel like i was treated like this because i was a lady. I left and took my car to Ron Hibbard Toyota where i bought my car. They got me in and out in less than an hour. I had to pay $35.00 but it was worth it to be treated nicely and not have to wait. read more

DO NOT USE THIS SHOP. They will work on your car without letting you know prices have changed. Brought my car in for maintenance work and now one of my sensors don't work even though it did before being brought in. Explanation was "it must've went out" but didn't fix the problem while it was there. Have an expensive steering wheel that has been dropped and now dented. Called to see if when I received my oil change, did they rotate my tires. Man on phone says no. I'm like okay, how much is a tire rotation. He says they are FREE with oil change. Then why did I not receive mine when I got my oil change?? He then proceeds to tell me I must pay the 40$ to get them rotated when if it was done in the first place I wouldn't have this issue. Never use Tire Discounters for just an oil change. $57 out the door for conventional oil, they say they check fluids but they don't, they certainly don't cap fluids, their fake sale on oil changes has been going on for four years, they didn't even check my tire pressure. This was our first time coming here. We were getting new tires and rims for my husband's truck. I had heard an advertisement on Pandora about all the free stuff they include with tires. That was what impressed me most. Jon was the young man that took care of us. I feel we got a great price and we're treated very well. In a few years my car will need new tires and this is where I'll be coming for tires. They also offer a lot of other services and we will be using them as much as needed. I was really impressed with the service here. I don't get that at some of the other places I have gone for oil changes or rotate and balance. This place is top notch!!! read more

Needed oil and filter change. After two trips to dealer put me in the 2 hour wait line I went here for quicker service. Got it done in about an hour. Basic full synthetic change. They didn't check fluids or top off, check tire pressure or rotate as indicated in promo. I was pressed for time and accepted what they did. My fault.
