Outstanding Performance by the service department on February 6, 2026. I called in to Ben due to having a hole in a Good Year run flat tire on the back of my wife BMW. I had visited two other places in Athens and no one could assist but wanted to sell me a replacement tire for $320.00 and keep vehicle till Monday. I came in around 5 pm with a nail in one of my tires. They took a look and said they could take care of it. About 25 minutes later, they hand me my keys and tell me I'm good to go. I asked how much I owed, and they replied, "Nothing. We take care of people." Yes they do. I like that they take of small issues for people, and that is a good use of the word community. Terrible service. Nate was awful and when I confronted him about making me pay $900 for repairs they never did he told me to calm down and informed me that's how they do diagnostics. They make you pay then do nothing to fix it just to fuck you over and tell you to calm down afterwards. Then he tried to give me a quote to fix the problem like I was giving them more money! These guys are a joke! I'd rather let the Girl Scouts handle all my tire needs from now on. read more

Brought my car in for a tire rotation and fix a flat. Made a appointment I thought but still took 2hrs and plus the flat could not be fixed that it needed to be replaced and they would need to order one. When I called about having the new tire put on they told me to be there in the morning they could get to me. Two hours later..... I don't mind waiting but I do mind being told one thing and it not being followed through. This isn't my first issue. But it is my last. Nice people, nice waiting area. But.. they have no respect for your time. So if you can drop of and leave it and wait for a phone call to pick it up that's all you can expect. "Don't " think you have an appointment because it's seems they don't have any sort off system for that. read more

Brought my son's car in to get some work done before he heads off to college. The young lady that helped us (Helaina) was amazing. One of the best customer service oriented people I've ever met. She was truly sympathetic when the news was worse than we feared and was very knowledgeable when giving us recommendations on what our options were. She kept in touch with us while his car was being serviced to keep us updated on any changes and she was an absolute pleasure to speak to. We've been here before to replace tires and the young man (unfortunately I can't remember his name) that took care of us then was also extremely good and was a great help. Horrible!!! My tires were purchased and installed at the county line/ 72 Tire Discounters in 7/2023 with a 70,000 3 year warranty. I am not near my warranty period maximums. My wife had to instruct the regional manager to their limited warranty policy on their website for him to read it. He isn't fully understanding of their own polices and like to add stuff to it that doesn't even appear even in small writing. All of my service appointments for rotations, balances, and alignments were all done at this location. Here we are 8/2024 one year and 2 weeks after purchase and installation of the tires we find out that my tires are needing a replacement. Hooowwww? Especially after I have had my tires serviced in all ways through you. No one ever mentioned before the Full Warranty 1 year replacement about my tires wearing extremely fast. No one at your store mentioned it. Now after that time frame has ended ya'll feel comfortable with advising that these defective tires need to be replaced and ya'll are willing to give me $300.00 proration to get new tires. Even with the $300.00 proration it will cost me more with that credit applied than what other companies are charging for 80,000 mile warranty tires without any type of credit. This company has been very difficult to work with and very conniving. Beware. I will be moving forward with my complaint. They are not right and not to be trusted. Take your money elsewhere. I purchased 2 new tires and after they were installed I was leaving the parking spot when I was hit by another customers car. A Tire Discounters employee was driving that car! Poor guy he felt so bad. But Tire Discounters paid for all damages and got me a rental car to drive. Accidents happen, I know, and they went to great lengths to make sure my car was repaired. The customer care and service was excellent! I will purchase tires from Tire Discounters again! read more

Well, I really do like taking my car to Tire Discounters. This last time was a challenge. I took my car to them to fix my air conditioner in September 2020 but apparently they did not fix all of what they needed to fix. So now in February 2022, the air conditioner is broken again. They said they have to replace everything. So it was not repaired correctly the first time. I am not happy to have to spend a whole lot more money to fix a problem which they caused. And of course it was past the warranty time so I had to pay for all of it to be repaired if I wanted my air conditioner fixed. They gave me a little bit of a discount but not enough for all the problems they caused in the first place. I may think twice about taking my car back to Tire discounters. read more

I purchased almost 2 thousand dollars worth of tires from this location for a 2008 dodge dually in September 2020. On February 15th 2021 I took truck in for a rotation and brake inspection. They did the rotation wrong and put two tires that were worn way down and put on outer tears which started skinning them fast. Less than 200 miles down the road and the rear brake pads were metal on metal yet they supposedly just did a brake inspection. Today I took truck back so they could address the issues they cause and they wanted me to pay for their errors. I was fine with covering costs of brakes but the tires was their error. They did want to take care of me the customer. I picked my truck up and will leave this same review on every site I can find and contact an attorney Monday morning to address this matter. read more

I paid for my daughter to have a brake job here because she was moving back to Texas. They charged me $620. All the way to Texas, her brakes squealed. When she got there, she took her car in to an auto shop. They told her tire Discounters did a shitty job. I called tire discounters to complain and he said he wanted to talk to the mechanic that looked at them in Texas. So I gave him the number and they talked. I called the mechanic back and he told me the guy was very apologetic for the bad job they did. I feel like I should get a partial refund as I didn't pay $620 for a shitty job. I filed a complaint with the BBB but they have not responded. If you take your car here, be aware of what you're getting into Also, they tell you they will get in touch with you soon so they look good on yelp, but they NEVER DO. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! I took my 2013 truck in on a Friday afternoon for a rotation and balance. When I picked it up on Saturday, the ABS brake lights and traction control lights were on. I immediately went back inside and explained the issue. They told me they would handle it. I called back on Monday and they said it was a tire pressure sensor so they replaced it. It didn't fix the issue. They then said it's a different tire pressure sensor so they would replace all of them at no charge. I called today, 6 days later, and they tried to tell me that it's a steering control sensor and that I would have to pay for it plus pay for the other three tire pressure sensors. The manager claimed that it now wasn't their fault and that they didn't have anything to do with the issues despite it happening immediately after they worked on it with no prior issues on the truck. So 6 days later, no truck, and trying to make me pay for repairs for issues that they caused. I'm picking it up today and taking it elsewhere. read more

I have a 2019 Jeep Wrangler JL 2-door Sport. Recently I had the tires changed out, and I noticed that every time I am driving around 65-70 MPH it started to shimmy and shake quite violently. I called Tire Discounters in Madison, Alabama. They got me right in, balanced the tires, rotated them (at my request) and had me out the door in less than an hour. The technicians were very friendly and professional. The wait area was comfortable and clean. The area around the store was well kept and organized. From now on, this is where I will be going to for all my tire and wheel needs - great job!!! read more

These guys are incredible. ALL OF THEM! I have always gone to Discount Tires ...up until now. I have never met a bunch of guys with better customer service than these guys. We had a situation where we were traveling in our BMW i3 and had a blow-out and nobody- not even the BMW dealership in Huntsville had the tire in stock that our car required. Each and every one of them genuinely cared about our situation and never stopped trying to help us figure it out and get us back on the road. These guys went out of there way and took care of us and got what we needed done. If I even lived in a 50 mile radius of this store and these guys they would have my business all day long. I cant say enough about these guys... it makes me feel really good that there are still people like this on this planet. The tell of two tire stores. While traveling through Alabama on my way home to Kentucky from Mississippi I had a blow out on my trailer. I put the spare on and stopped in Meridian Mississippi at a Walmart to try and get a new spare but they didn't have the size in stock. So I called ahead to a Tire Engineers store in Tuscaloosa Alabama and talked to the Manager Shannon who said they didn't have it in stock but it was only about 15 mins away in a warehouse. I asked him what time they closed and he said 6pm, I looked at my GPS and told him it looked like I would get there about 5:57, he said he thought that was cutting it too close so I continued on. While passing through Tuscaloosa, one mile past the exit for there store my second tire blew out. I pulled off at the next exit at a Travel America, check there truck repair but they didn't have anything that small. I called back to Tire Engineers about 630 and Shannon answered and I told him what had happened and he said they were closed but could get me in at 7 the next morning. So I unhooked the trailer spent the night in my truck and was at the store the next morning at 7. They said they had to run to the store to get the tires, I ran to Lowes and returned around 730 and they had still not left to get the tires, as I walked in they said they were going to get them. They arrived back at 800 with the tires and a bag of breakfast sandwiches which they all decided to set around and eat instead of replacing my two tires, after they finished eating they decided it was time to get to work. Finally at 838 I was back in the road. Tire store #2, Tire Discounters, after making it through Birmingham Alabama and heading North on I-65 tire #3 blew, I stopped and replaced it with the spare and called ahead to try and find a tire. Tyler answered and said he didn't have the tire in stock but would call me back to let me know when he could have it. I decided to eat lunch, Tyler called back and said he could have it in about 1-1 1/2 hours, since I was only about 45 min from his store I told him thanks but I would try somewhere else since I was already way behind, he said he was sorry I said that's ok. As soon as I got on the interstate he called me back and said that the route driver said he'd stop at his store first to get the tire there before I arrived. I pulled in and all the service bays were full so I was like this is going to be a awhile. Tyler walks up and said lets get the is wrote up and had a guy immediately start on my tire. Can I give ZERO-Star? On 8/24/2021 I paid for a set of 4 tires and an oil change. I was given an appointment for 8/26/2021 at 9 am. I dropped off my car before they opened and left my keys in their dropbox. They waited until I showed up at 6 pm to pick up my car to tell me that the tires had not arrived and my car was not ready. Not once did they pick up the phone to tell me this, nor had they touched my car at all, when I showed up to pick up my car they didn't even know where my car keys were at (want to take a guess where they were at? Yes in the dropbox). After 9 hours No tires, No oil change. After I left a so-called "manager" calls me to say I HAVE to go back and sign to cancel the transaction, NO I will not be wasting my time with this business anymore, TIRE DISCOUNTERS has wasted enough of my time, I will be disputing this transaction as services were not rendered. I was expected to pay for the tires ahead of time to ensure I would go get the tires, this business failed to keep up on their end and have the tires by the said date. Shouldn't they pay me a fee for wasting my time? Horrible customer service, and even worse communication. I Will not be doing any business with this location. read more
