I HATE having to get my car checked. Being and looking like a complete noob when it comes to cars, I can't tell you how many times people have tried to up-sell the crap out of me... All I needed was one, cheap tire. I went to Big O' Tires for one and they wanted to sell me three for $600 (um no....). In their defense, they talked of warranty and such...but I just hate the feeling that I'm being taken advantage of. As for Tire Express, Ali helped me out and he was just fantastic. He didn't try to upsell me at all (thank you Jesus) and did the best that he could for my car. He offered me a tire patch at first which is really cheap here but he checked my car and realized that I needed a new tire. He explained the situation to me, inflated my tires, and told me to call him if anything wasn't working soundly. He felt trustworthy and that's hard to find when it comes to car maintenance. Just do yourself a favor and go to Tire Express. con: the lot is pretty small so you might be waiting a while depending on the time you come. An honest shop. Found a screw in one of our car's tires, and the first shop we took it to (major chain) took a quick look and said that it wasn't repairable - this is a fair assessment, as it was borderline on the shoulder. Decided to get a second opinion at Tire Express, and after a short wait, they took the time to take the screw out - turns out it was tiny/short. No repair required, certainly no replacement. $5 for their time and we were out the door in less than 20min total. I know where we'll be back in the future for our tire needs. read more

Went to pepboys to have a screw removed from my tread. They said they couldn't do it and I would have to buy a new tire. I showed them that it was a full 2 inches into the tread away from the tire wall. Guy simply said sorry store policy they can't fix that and I need to buy a new tire. I took it here and faster than the time it took for me to talk to the pepboys guy he had it fixed and back on my car. No longer than 10 mins in and out AND only 10 bucks to fix. I called today to see if they had 4 used tires for my 2013 Dodge Dart. They did and quoted me at $140. The $140 was for the tires, balance and everything. I got there around 2pm and was told it would take 30 minutes. Five minutes later the man working on my car came in to inform me that I only needed THREE tires replaced. The left rear tire was fine. I'm a pregnant woman who knows NOTHING about tires or cars. He could have replaced the 4 tires and profited off of my stupidity. Instead he was honest and I walked out of there with more money in my pocket. Looks can be deceiving! This place is a hole in the wall, but the people who work there are friendly but more importantly HONEST. As a woman I am constantly afraid of being ripped off by mechanics or tire experts, so this was refreshing! The whole process ended up taking 20 minutes. I definitely would go here again! Took in my 2015 Kia Optima to replace a tire. Let me tell you this shop and Ali are great. Not only did he have my tire in stock but he also checked out my other tires to make sure they were in good condition. My car would veer to the left and he advised me what could possibly be wrong. My husband found this place on yelp and I was in need of used tires to get by until I can afford to change all four of my tires in one shot! I called them up after calling America's Tires and to my surprise Tire Express had used tires way cheaper! The guy I spoke to was very genuine and didn't try to sell me any more than what I was looking to buy. When I got there he even offered to rotate my back tire forward so my car will drive straight without steering to the side due to different brand name tires. Awesome guy! They defintely get a 5 star rating from me for sales, service, and honesty! If I wasn't expecting a baby in two months and still in need of items for my newborn, I would have totally tipped them! These guys are great! I came in looking for some cheap used tires. My tire size is kinda hard to find and I needed all four. They had a couple but none with a matching set. Mike told me he was gonna go to his other shop to find me the tires. He ended up finding some that were really good and let me inspect them before they put them on. Basically brand new, out the door for 150. I really liked that he went out of his way to find some tires that would fit my car. I was in and out in 20 minutes for the installation and balancing.
