I've come to this location sparingly over the years. Honestly, I haven't had a bad experience here but I wanted to post a review bout my encountered yesterday. My step daughters rear tire had a nail in it.. and even though there was no sign of the tie running low or deflating, she wanted to latch it. I drove over to tire kingdom to handle it. About twenty minutes after dropping off the car, the sales guy came over and advised me that there was a nil, but no puncture.. therefore, nothing to patch. He simply handed me the keys back and wished me a good rest of my day. Honestly, he could've told me they patched the tire and charged me and I would've never known. So we called the number they offered us in this review and this is what has happened. A lady answered the phone she said she had to fill out a form to have them connect us... We called the very next day after I posted this review. As you can see it has been 15 days and no one has called us back. Also this is NOT the only place I place reviews. If a review can be posted I will if need to be including locally. So I wrote a review on Citrus County Word of Mouth I was shocked the amount of people who have had similar issues at this location until the one below came through on the stream. This customer experienced the same exact lie we were told and they over charged the same way. This is something they do all the time. We are currently working together to help others. She was shocked to see my review. This is thievery, and we are getting legal advice because she is surprisingly not the only one. I was there for an oil change and tire rotation. They said that two of the front tires are bad so I decided not to replace them since they were fairly new tires with 18K. I took the tires to where I bought them to see if it under warranty but there not so I called Tire Kingdom and they gave me a quote for the new tire and them replace. They are very honest and they are pushy on items that required replacement or service. I highly recommend them. read more

The attention is super bad, I had a very bad experience, the older gray-haired gentleman has a very bad temper and is rude. I just went today, Saturday, December 28, for maintenance and it turns out that they even changed a new tire for me when I didn't ask for it. I left the key to my car and they were supposed to call me when it was ready, and it turns out that they didn't call me and I decided to go. When I arrived, my car was ready and they didn't tell me absolutely anything about the tire change. This is the second time it has happened to me that they change the tires without telling me anything. Don't waste your time with this place! I needed a new tire as fast as possible, as I had a flat and was riding on a spare, so I called up on a Sunday and spoke with someone on the phone who checked prices with me and told me they had the tire I was looking for in stock. He told me the only appointment he had was for about an hour before they closed, so I agreed and received an email with the confirmation for the appointment. When I drove over at the time of the appointment, there was only 2 people working there in the shop and one of them (who was a nice guy) told me they had no info about an appointment and had a few customers and would not be able to get me in. Even worse, he told me he wasn't even sure what tire I needed and if it was in stock. Apparently the person I spoke with was in a call center and not even on location, the guy informed me they got bought out by Mavis a few months ago and things were working differently. So, instead of an easy tire change I was left scrambling and running around the city on a donut to try to find another place to get my tire changed on a Sunday afternoon before everything closed. Thanks! Great job Mavis / Tire Kingdom. I understand being busy is a thing but it's not fair to the customer to promise them something and have them drive all the way down and waste their time and money for nothing. These people are either stupid or don't know how to put tires that fit your vehicle after buying shocks and new tires. I find that they don't fit properly since they run against chassis when you make a hard turn. They said that I needed bigger shocks so I accepted their opinion and put on the bigger shocks for an additional 400$. However it did not cure the problem. The tires are still rubbing against the chassis. Took it back and they said it needed spreaders to remove the rubbing of the bigger tires which they recommended. So now they want more $ to install spreaders. Why didn't they install the spreaders after they installed the first set of shocks? They don't know what they're doing and just want to get your $. Stay away from them if you want to replace your tires with larger ones. They're idiots and don't know what they're doing. read more

Greeter was nice and I told him that I needed 4 tires mounted. 1 hour later (the store had 3 customers including me), the manager comes out and says he cant change my tires because my car is too low. Granted my car is low, but not ridiculous; youre able to fit a floor jack without wood or anything extra. They refused to change my BALD tires because they were simply too lazy to use a floor jack; I suggested the floor jack and he just shrugged in discontent about it. Again, the store was not busy and it was obvious they just didnt want to work. Theyre open until 7pm, so it was a matter of pure unprofessionalism. two thumbs down. read more

I was driving my husband's car, I was at the exit of 137th ave on 836, when all of the sudden the car starts beeping and on the dashboard a red little sailboat turns on. I immediately stopped and called my husband. It turns out the car was overheating so I needed to let it cool and take it immediately to a car shop. My husband takes his car to get oil change and anything that has to be fixed at Tirekingdom. Well the closest I had was this one. I got there and explain to the guy what happened. He tells me that they need to do a diagnostic test which costs $105.99. I asked if I do any repairs with you will the $105.99 be deducted and he said no that they could only credit $30. I couldn't believe he was saying that how they ripped me off just because I'm a woman. I had no other choice but to say yes because couldn't drive the car. By the way the SALES ASSOCIATE'S name is "HECTOR L. DE LA CRUZ" Diagnostic came back saying Thermostat needed to be replaced because was not functioning the way it should and that it is not opening up the way it should. I really don't know anything about cars, and he knew it. Well the total to repair the thermostat was $444 with $70 discount that HECTOR said that he deducted because he was helping me but that he was doing it without managers knowledge because could not be giving any discounts, wow did he really thought I was impressed by his kindness. I know he was not trying to help, he just thought I would actually believe that BS. When the car was ready and I had to pay guess what? I see the actual paper stating everything they had done. They had done and replaced so many things that added to the $444, the thermostat was only $141.80 so basically the guy told me that to change thermostat would cost me $444 in total, never did he said well I'm adding other things that didn't need to be replaced. Well a day after I had paid $444 the AC stopped working and my husband took it this time, well they told him what they found something else and that they would charge $105 to repair the broken AC, but that they would not charge for labor, WOW really how nice of them. So basically for a repair that should have been no more than $250 they charged over $300 on top of what should have been charged. Another thing while I was there, I saw guys walking in and from what I heard and saw some whee friends and some family members, and would ask the guys working there to do things for their cars that not once did I see Hector who was helping them go on the computer or charged them, all I saw was lots of hugs and handshakes. And I know they were friends because Hector mentioned to another coworker that the customer that he was helping had dated his cousin. I went to this location 2821 SW 8TH ST. Everyone was very nice. I had made an appointment for 2:00 pm. Miguel took my information and looked at my tire. He said it would be about 30 minutes. 1 hour and 30 minutes later they finally got to my car. It took less than 10 minutes to fix my tire. Again, they were very nice. They just did not seem to care that I was waiting for them. I only saw them finish one car the whole time I was there. They don't seem to care, and I seem to be interrupting their "meetings" in the parking lot. I just moved to Miami and I was warned to expect that I should not expect good customer service. I am an optimist and I think I will find a car service I can trust. This company/location obviously is not that. I needed 4 tires cause they were bald since this place is fairly close to me I went in there was no wait I spoke to a gentleman named Hector got a reasonable price for four tires on my 2009 Mercedes Benz C300 I was quoted between 100 & 200 dollars more on the phone from other places for cheaper tires. Just find out rear side still OFF. Went to get manager to let him know. Manager claims he is the technician and doesn't know how to read alignment computer. DO NOT RECOMMEND. My Dad and I went here after my car broke down. They charged us $100 just to check what was wrong with the car. Then they charged us $900 to put the ignition coils which came with a year warranty. In a hurry to fix it we agreed. Afterwards we found out that those pieces are sold anywhere for less than $70 and my dad with a youtube video could have fixed it. Fast forward to a year and four days later, my car starts with the same problem. We checked with a mechanic and it was the ignition coils. Fortunately this time my dad was able to buy them and fix it himself. My car works perfectly and the ignition coils come with a year warranty themselves. However, before he fixed it he called this Tire Kingdom and they told him that they would look at the car even though the warranty was four days late. But of course they would be charging him the $100 in diagnostic test. Instead of wasting our time going over there and arguing we took the loss and learned our lesson. IF I were you I would NOT come to this location! BE AWARE!!! The staff is very unprofessional and has terrible customer service by the manager and associates! This tire shop is completely bogus; the staff members are disrespectful and thieves. My boyfriend came one day to do a maintenance and change his brakes; and what ended up happening was unbelievable. After my car being in the shop from 10 AM until 6 PM; I finally was able to pick it up. Upon arrival everything looked good; but once I left it was a different story. When I would break, my car made these strange noises. The store had already closed so I had to wait until the next day to see whats going on, but I decided to not even go to the same tire kingdom. The bad reviews are not without reason. The guy that looked like is in charge is extremely rude and after three hours they call to say they couldn't do the job because they didn't have the tire. There's a Tire Kingdom closer to my house but I go to this one because I've always had a great experience. The place is clean, the staff is professional and they don't try to rip you off. They removed a nail from my tire that I didn't know was there and they didn't charge me anything (I went for an oil change and tire rotation and was leaving the next day for a lengthy road trip). Not a big deal to some, but I appreciated the extra time and effort, as well as not have to deal with a flat tire on the side of the road. 2 people in the front counter: 1 on the phone, the other on the computer. The one on the computer never acknowledged I was there and I had to wait at least 5 minutes for the other employee to finish on the phone. I already had an appointment so I thought it would be a quick oil change. An hour later I check outside to see if I see my car, it had been done for a while but they never called me in the waiting room to pick it up. If I didn't look outside I would have been waiting there forever. Then my oil change included topping of the fluids and tire rotation. I checked my fluids and they were empty and I had marked my tires and it seems they never did the tire rotation. First and last time I'm going there. read more

What a horror shop. I Take in my car to change tires and when I get it back the passenger window was half way down and would not go back up. When I question the store manager "Jorge" why my window is suddenly not working he said "it was already like that" knowing that the Windows were both up when they got my car. He said they need to put the windows down on all cars when working on them. which is understandable, but if you see my window won't go back up after messing it up, at least be professional and mention it to the customer instead of trying to hide it. The manager (Jorge) was a rude unprofessional piece of and had a nasty tone the whole time. I was so upset I asked The manager (Jorge) for his supervisor or district managers business line/Phone number, he simply said "I can't give you that" wow really? It seems the district manager will never hear the negative feed back and truth of what a terrible way the current store manager is running this business. He then offered to take my info to then inform his district manager to then contact me which still to date has NOT. The guys are great but the prices are way to high compared to the average prices in Dade County . I don't have any complaints on the guys that work there ...but they need to be more responsible towards their actions . So when the mechanic started working on my vehicle I decided to go outside and watch how they work on my car and while the mechanic was working on my car the wrench he was working with accidentally fell on the front passenger side of my vehicle. I saw when it hit my vehicle , I was a few feet away from him . To keep myself honest my vehicle has a few dents and scratches but that dosen't take the fact the wrench hit my car and it was a hardsh hit . The mechanic acted like nothing happen and I stayed quiet. Sometime passed and I made the salesperson aware of what had happend he looked at me like I was crazy or most likely lying he had a blank stare...which I dont know why . The first thing he did was point out the other scratches and dents on my vehicle. I even told him to look at the video tape that way he can confirm that I was not lying . He went ahead and looked at the video and it clearly shows when the wrench fell . Unfortunately the part when the wrench actually hits the car was blocked by the mechanic...so his excuse was ...that I heard when the wrench fell but I didn't see the wrench hit my car . My point is .. If anything happens to your vehicle in this repair shop they will find a way not to be held responsible ...even after the fact he went back to look at the video tape . He is a cool guy but he is doing the impossible to protect his position . I personally will not go back to this Tire Kingdom or any other of their locations. read more

I went to get my breaks checked Dyer just getting them done at this tire kingdom location 2 months ago and they told me I had no new break pads ever put on! They charged me for a job they didn't ever do, and corporate had to deal with the store manage Jorge. The manage Jorge and his employees are extremely unprofessional, and rude to their customers. I have visited this store in the past and paid $20 for a flat tire patch, this particular Sunday, I went in and was quoted $47 for a flat tire patch, when I asked why so high a price, they told me that it was due to having a new car with new rim and large tire, I have a Mazda cx9 (not large tires at all). I also called two other Tire Kingdom stores and was quoted $19.99 over the phone. I took my car, luckily I had enough air to drive it, drove down the road to Discount Tire and Auto and had my flat repaired for $18. I feel sorry for those who are not able to drive away. charging over double the price of other places in the area is shameful to say the least. I will never step foot in that store again. read more

An incredibly bad experience! Around 3.30pm on December 31 I notice a bolt stuck in one of my tires. I realize that I better get this fixed if I am going to celebrate New Years Eve tonight. Drive To Tire Kingdom, Show tire mechanic the bolt in my tire. He tells me tire patches are 21.35 with tax. I say OK no problem. I go inside Store Manger tells me that I got tire rot and he can't fix it. Without even seeing it. Then he comes out to show me my tire rot. Sure my tires are not new but they don't suffer from tire rot just a metal bolt that stuck in them. The guy told me he was not going to patch it. Considering this and other reviews elsewhere I would recommend staying clear of this particular Tire Kingdom for the time being. read more

I had hesitations because of the reviews I've read on Yelp. I went early at 8:30am during the week to get 4 new tires installed but there were many people ahead of me that I would've had to wait 3 hours for my car to get even inside the shop. So the service manager told me that if I wanted to wait less for the car that he was having one of his guys go in to work at 11am. So he suggested coming back at 11am and I did. I couldn't afford to lose 3 hours due to lack of workers that early in the morning. He had taken down all my information down when I first got there at 8:30am, so when I arrived at 11am all I had to do was hand my keys. As I was waiting for my car he would constantly be updating me on the status of my vehicle. Prior to then taking off the rims he called me over to show me that there were scratch marks on one of my rims, to make sure that I knew there were there before them starting on my car. After that I went inside to wait on my car for about 1hr and 10 minutes. Throughout that whole time he kept on updating me at least 2 times during my wait. He also at one point came to ask me if I wanted to get them aligned so they could wear at the same rate being new tires and i told him I did. I got the alignment because my tires were wearing down unevenly. He even knocked down $25 off a 1 year service I got. Overall I was really pleased by the service given and the service manager Alex Sigaran who made sure that I got great service. Would definitely go back again. read more
