Thursday, 6/9/22, I called about needing at least one and maybe two new Pirelli tires for my back two slowly deflating tires. Aaron told me the price of the tires, and the total price with labor. His price was much better than another tire place and my Hyundai dealership. But he didn't have the tires yet. About 2 hours later, he called me back to let me know that he ordered them and if I came in Friday, 6/10, at 8AM, they could check my tires, patch them if they could be patched, and if not, put on new tires. When I got to TK this morning, Yesenia did my paperwork. She was friendly and efficient. Aaron introduced himself, and one of the techs took my keys to get started. I went home, & 90 minutes later Yesenia called to say they patched one, but I needed a new tire on the other side. It had been patched in March, and they had said it might not hold. It held for 3 months, but no more. She gave me a new total - less than the estimate she'd given me this morning for 2 new tires. After another 90 minutes, she called to tell me my car was ready. Back at TK, Yesenia gave me the paperwork, explained how road hazard insurance works (all Tire Kingdoms and NTB Centers outside of FL). I paid her, and was on my way by 11:45! I was impressed with efficiency, prices, and professionalism. I will be back! Fun fact: In the 70s in college, my roommate's father was Sam Behr, the "Tires ain't pretty!" spokesman for Tire Kingdom. Flat tire went to bills auto next door to Tire Kingdom on us 19 in palm harbor, FL. They just plugged my tire, when I went to get my car it was sitting on its rim and I was almost out of gas, i had 4 bars when i got my car towed in.. They jacked up my car and the tire was shredded underneath. They said it would take a few days to fix, they almost ruined my rims. This store has gone downhill dramatically since COVID lockdowns. I have used this place for many years and always had a positive experience.....until yesterday. Came in for tires for the first time in 2 years and did not recognize any of the staff. The tires I ordered online were not in stock despite 2 emails to me confirming my appointment. No apology just you need to come back tomorrow. I came in the next day and after a long wait they fitted the tires. I drove 2 miles home. I left the house this morning and got about 1 mile when the car pulled violently to the right. I pulled over and the front tire had lost all air, it had not been mounted correctly. Had I been on the freeway it probably would have resulted in a fatal accident. I am sitting at tire kingdom now writing this review. I will be contacting an attorney Monday. read more

Went in to have my tire checked. 2nd visit because my original appointment I waited an hour and half and my car was not even looked at; didn't include that in my Google review. Sonya comes back within 10 min to tell me I need 4 new tires!!! Then I wait another 15 min and she says I need to replace all 4 sensors when only 1 was showing issue quoted $150 each Then she SONYA calls me and leaves a VM on how she was justifying why she quoted me out the door. They would not honor their price and told me I was wrong. They were not accommodating at all. I will not use tire kingdom ever again. Do you really want to do business with someone you have to watch? I had scheduled a 1:00 p.m. appointment for a conventional oil change and free tire rotation. I arrived at the store at 12:45 p.m., and after an employee recorded my VIN and mileage he stated, " It'll be about an hour as oil changes usually take that long." I stated, "I'll be here." I stayed outside for about 15 minutes before going into their service lounge. I noticed my vehicle was on a lift, about 3 feet off the ground with three tires off the vehicle, and the hood was raised. My thoughts were that the vehicle would be finished on time. Their service lounge has windows that one can see into the service bays. My vehicle was the only vehicle in the entire shop, and there were three technicians. One kept walking back and forth, one brought a black BMW X5 in to rotate the tires, and one brought a full-size pickup in and rotated the tires. At this point, I've been sitting in the lounge for 25 minutes observing absolutely no one going anywhere near my vehicle and seeing two vehicles go in and out. It's now 1:50 p.m. I left the lounge to go to the front of the store to find out the status of my vehicle. There were two employees sitting in the front office, and I asked the one who checked me in, " Any idea when my vehicle will be ready?" He asked, "Do we have the keys?" I replied, "You've had the keys for over an hour, and my vehicle's been sitting on a lift with three tires off for 40 minutes." He said, "Let me check." He returned and said, "I don't know how it happened but your paperwork's been sitting in the done pile. I'll have them bring it around." Any of this would have been understandable if they had been even slightly busy. My eyes don't lie, and they were nowhere near busy. I seriously doubt that any service was performed on my vehicle unless it was done in the first 15 minutes. If that was the case, why didn't they just bring it around so I could leave? There's and old saying that goes: "Burn me once, your fault. Burn me twice, my fault." I've never been burned twice, and I don't do business with people I have to watch. It'll be interesting to see if their corporate survey site, tkcustomerfirst.com, posts my survey of this store. I say this because one of the questions on the survey states: "May we post your text comment and overall satisfaction rating online for others to read?" I made sure to check the, "Yes, feel free to post my comment and overall satisfaction rating online." Their comments section is limited to 1200 characters ( I can see why), so it will be the condensed version of this review. We shall see. read more

My wife took her Jeep in for a routine, SCHEDULED oil change. Although she had an appointment for an oil change ONLY, it took them almost 2 hrs to complete. In addition, she had a slow leak in a tire that had been patched several times before. They indicated it was against the law to patch again and attempted to sell her 1 brand new mismatched tire. What reputable tire place sells one brand new, mismatched tire when all other tire have 32k on them. really!?!? When she didn't bite on their offer, after calling me for advice, they then patched the tire again (although, they indicated it was illegal). Won't be going back there again due to severe inconvenience and what appears to be highly questionable business practices. read more

Went back on 1/31 for appt 2 with a different issue. Turns out after the flat, I had a bad sensor causing TPMS light to stay on. Stuart and Bob the tech got me in and out and were very efficient. I normally would take my Toyota truck into Toyota for its service but I called and found out the price to have Tire Kingdom do the sensor was less so I had it done while I waited and everything has been great so far. No more light!!!!! Had a leaking valve stem issue causing my Tundra's psi to drop to under 10 lbs! (Turns out it was a tiny spring piece inside it that had gotten gummed up). In any case, I noticed my flat tire Sunday night and this was not good!! I really had to be to my job on time by 8am Monday. I booked the first available appt on line Sun night for 8am Monday. I put some air in it at 7/11 Sun night and drove to Tire Kingdom on US 19 Palm Harbor at 6am (!) Monday to insure I would be first in line at 7am for their regular opening time. Bret greeted me at 7 sharp and immediately provided excellent service. Not only was I offered a cup of coffee, but he fixed my issue in under 10 minutes at no charge. He showed me the little spring piece and how it malfunctioned without my even asking toand I appreciated that, being a woman with mechanical Interests. I was able to get to work early and my stress vanished!! The location was clean and organized and I am indeed GRATEFUL to BRET! Brought truck in for tires and had new tires installed, they said needed rear brakes had them install new rear brakes. Pulled out or tire kingdom and rear brakes were making loud noise and steering wheel was shaking when braking, brought back 3 times and they still didn't get it right , now front new tire is low on tire pressure after telling them to check and sounds like wheel weights falling off rims . This is the worst service I have ever had when trying to get a repair on a tire. I had a screw in my tire and when there because I had bought 2 tires from them and thought they were good to deal with. After waiting an hour I was told the tire could not be repaired and the other back tire also had 2 nails in it. I needed to buy 2 new tires. Fortunately I had to get home to meet a handyman who was there to do work for me. I decided to check another place for the repair on my tire and was told the tire could be fixed and the other tire had no nails in it. I was told that women are taken advantage of by some companies . I wish I could give them negative stars. They flat out lied and try to swindle over $500 from my wife... OK so on our way to Florida we blew a tire out. Our goal today was to replace that tire. Not knowing good places or bad we looked to Yelp. We found Tire Kingdom. We compared their prices with other tires shops... Easily the best price... That's where the praise ends... We dropped off the truck and soon after they started to leave my wife phone messages-- urgent ones. We must get our brakes changed! They are metal to metal and we will never make it to NY and we will lose our breaks come West Virginia!!!! Ummmm.... 6 months ago we got our breaks checked at a shop and they told me my break pads were at 50% and they will be fine for a while. Well when my wife got there to pay they told her that the price for the 2 tires was $40 more than they quoted her! the man claimed that at the quoted price he would lose money. They compromised $20... But man is it our problem they screwed up? Back to the breaks... When she got in there every guy who saw here cried about the breaks... They wanted to charge us OVER $530 to fix the breaks the pads rotors etc... My wife said no thank you and when she came back to the car we drove the truck up to Just Brakes. Jerry checked them walked me through everything showed me that we had about 10,000 more miles left on our break pads... 10,000 MILES. He wondered if the truck would pass inspection when we got to NY but said that it definitely would make it. If we were staying here in Palm Harbor I would definitely make a bigger deal of this. Really terrible place. At least if you need to repair a tire. I had flat tire because of small screw in it. They told me that I have to change rear tire and it will cost almost 200$. Without any additional options. I just sealed it in another place for 15$. I went in there to get a tire patched and tires rotated. They called me and said my tire had been patched and tires rotated. I paid for both, got home and realized that they scammed me and never rotated my tires. They saw a younger girl walking in there that they thought they could take advantage of. Upon realizing this and calling them, they attempted to cover it up and said they didn't rotate them because my good wheels are supposed to stay on the back. 2 hrs. for an oil change? Really? I had made an appointment earlier in the day and arrived on time. The lady in front of me was a stop in for a low tire, who amazingly was in and out in 15 minutes, by the same technician who serviced my car. Why do I make an appointment if my car will be put behind others who just show up? Once they did start on my car it seemed to be a comedy of errors. As I watched through the window 3 different technicians searched in vain for the oil filter on my car. All dutifully walking under the car, and looking up into the engine, when the oil filter in my car is located on the top. And this after he had spent 20 minutes obviously searching for the filter in the stock on the side of the garage. And then when my car was finally complete, virtually no spoken words from the manager as he checked me out. No apologies or such. Just here's your bill.
