I should've known better by the first time that I came to this shop. It was the same story as my 1st review with the appointment does not matter because they were short on help. So I had to leave my car and take an Uber home for full synthetic oil change and tire rotation. Get back to pick it up and I noticed that they did not rotate my tires (I am assuming that they probably didn't put synthetic but even worse after waiting more than it should've taken they mangled my lug nuts and now I need to buy new ones. Do not come to this store unless you want damage or terrible service. read more

These guys put 4 trailer tires on my travel trailer. Was very happy and professional. During a trip, a valve stem failed and a tire place in New York replaced the rubber stem with a metal one - problem solved. I asked these guys "if I bring in the other three tires, can you replace with metal ones like the 4th one and they said NO. "We don't repair trailer tires. We'll sell you new ones but won't replace the valve stems without you buying new tires". Wow. I've heard of upselling but that's obnoxious. I went to put air in my front driver tire, I noticed my tire was not only bold I could see wires sticking out. I thought to myself this isn't safe. I went to 3 different places looking for a tire to fit my car and everyone was over my budget or they had to order it and it wouldn't be in stocked for a few days. I couldn't wait that long I had work. I made it to tire choice store 1267 in palm harbor where I met Andrew. I hit a deep pothole that caused the alignment on my 2020 Tacoma to become skewed. I saw Tire Choice had an alignment special on Groupon, so I purchased it and then called to make an appointment at the Palm Harbor location. The person I spoke to took down all of my info, along with my vehicle info, and got me an appointment the next day. When I arrived the guy at the counter told me he couldn't do an alignment on my Tacoma because it requires some special equipment to reset the on-board camera system (which he said most tire shops in the area do not have). He added that if I went to any Firestone or Mavis they'd tell me the same thing. He finished by telling me that he was something of a Toyota "nerd" and a front end alignment on my 2020 Tacoma was a Toyota Dealer only job. I'd never heard of this in my life. Later the same day I found myself close to a different Tire Choice location and decided to stop in. I asked them about getting the alignment fixed. I was told 'sure, no problem.' I made an appointment for the next day. So the guy at the Palm Harbor location is incompetent, or he made up that fantastical story because he didn't want to honor my Groupon. Either way, this is the last place I'd ever take my vehicle if it needed any type of service. There are plenty of other tire shops out there; like the one in New Port Richey that corrected my alignment issue, and accepted my Groupon. read more

This company has shady marketing and business practices. They lure you in with half off oil change groupon specials. When you take your car in there is always some reason the prices is not honored and you end up spending full price for your oil change. This happen to myself and my wife. We will never do business with this company again....buyer beware! read more

I had to reschedule my oil change appointment a number of times because they kept canceling they said due to staff shortage. When I was finally in there, they informed me that appointments mean nothing, they take people first come first serve. Then they informed me that they won't order my air filter until my car is in the bay, which means a wait of at least 2 1/2 hours...for a simple oil change. Finally, I used a Groupon, Tire Choice is the only place that adds extra charges on top of the Groupon... I've used a Groupon for oil changes a number of times. This was the first place to do that. The guys in the shop are very nice, otherwise this place is poorly run and a rip-off. BTW, they claimed my tires were practically bald, which is very much an exaggeration, and that I need a new battery, which now I don't trust. read more

Update on the headlight issue from yesterday (where they would not change my headlight - the guy saying he didn't want to get electrocuted and said take it to the dealership)... A great deal on an oil change got me in the door as well as a past experience getting a routine safety inspection for Uber. I called on a Sunday and they were too backed up to take me in that day, so I made a 7AM appointment for Monday. 7:00, 7:01, 7:02, 7:03...FINALLY someone shows up to open up, but I don't think he's a technician. It's now 7:10 as I write this and there's still nobody here to do a simple oil change on my car that I made an appointment for. A good deal is only worth the effort to benefit from it when the merchant delivers the service as promised and honors an appointment made in advance. I just went here with my Honda Fit and a coupon I got in the mail for an oil change for $17.84. I was told my car could not use that oil and my car needed an oil change that would cost $65. I think not! I promptly left and made an appointment at the Honda Dealership where I can get it done for $29.99. This place tries to rip off women. Look out! read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!! I had a coupon that was good for a free oil change from the shop, and they honored the coupon. However, as I expected, they came back and told me I needed a whole slew of repairs, including a $500 power steering hose. I wanted to get an opinion from someone I trusted, so I took it to my uncle who is a trained professional that works for Hyundai, and can completely disassemble and assemble a car. He told me there was nothing wrong with the hose. Then, we checked my oil level and it was extremely low! They didn't put enough oil in the car. We checked for leaks, filled it up with the appropiate amount of oil and checked again every week for a month to find that there was no leak. Stay away from this shop, they are not honest and are only out for your money. read more

I went here for new tires. Recommended my boyfriend try the place. They charged him $70 for a oil change. Beware ask for prices before you say to go ahead with oil change. They act like they are giving you a great deal and ended up being more than Acura dealership quoted. read more

I have to say, I have found an auto service company that I feel confident in. I was getting ready to leave on an extended road trip, knowing I would be depending on my car a 1999 Avalon to take me aproximately 4000 miles in 3 weeks, I knew I needed to have it looked at from end to end and they did just that. They checked everything made reccomendations of what I should do before I leave and made suggestions of maintance I should get done when I get back. I liked that. I did not feel they wanted me to replace things just to replace them. The manager Keith said he would take care of my care like I was a family member taking this trip and I really feel like he did just that. This is about my experience with Tire Choice here in Palm Harbor, Fl at Curlew Rd and US HWY 19 N. After working all night at the Animal Emergency and Urgent Care clinic a couple of doors down, I went outside to load up my truck with my animals to find I had a flat tire on Monday morning. Tire Choice is just 2 businesses down from the clinic so I called to see if someone could help me get my tire off and replace it if needed. They do not normally provide road side services, but Andrew the new manager himself came over and changed my tire. I went over to see if the tire was repairable, I had just had my tires rotated and checked out Friday at a Ford dealership, we discovered the tire had a split on the side that in the right position leaked air and also that another one of my other tires had a screw in it. Not impossible that both happened in 2 days, but unlikely. I feel that the dealership had missed this and put me and my animals at risk for a blow out. I am thankful I had someone like Andrew and Tire Choice go out of their way to help me and my pets and were able to properly find replacement tires that I needed at a reasonable price. Stay away from this location. I've been here several times and this is the last straw. Deceitful customer service. Stripped bolts on my oil pan cover. Told me tires were rotated and they were not for the second time. Parts prices for repairs super inflated beyond dealer prices. If I'm going to pay dealer repair prices I'll go to the dealer. Missing hub bolt cap. They claim it was not present on oil change. And on and on..... There are other shops.I'm DONE here. read more

I Highly Recommend You Go Elsewhere when it comes to Repairs! $1452.00 for Front Brakes & Radiator? And they Did a Complimentary Oil Change . Only to find the mechanic Left the Caps off all the Fluids & they Lost the Oil Dip Stick. After that Overcharged Bill, there is Constance Leak after there complimentary Oil Change. Told, this is common. Or, It could be a engine seal leak, which is costly. Well, Lost my brakes while driving 6 months later. That leak was not an engine seal leak but, the brake line. So, if you want to NOT have a safe car with Unaffordable Prices, The Tire Choice is for You!!!
