I as over charged by $330(that being 2 hrs of labor they continue to insist is justified). I simply stopped in for a front end alignment and to have them "swap " my two front tires. They mentioned wear on my brakes and I agreed to have a brake service on both axles, but all they did was replace the pads. They also inquired about changing the brake fluid. So to change the fluid, replace the brake pads,and a front end alignment...I was charged $856!!?? Never again!!! read more

This is your sign NOT to take your car to Tire Kingdom on Columbia Blvd. I brought my Jeep in for a squeaking in the brakes and was told I needed new rotors, brake pads, and an alignment, $800 later the brakes are consistently squeaking worse and worse. Apparently their "alignment equipment" is down and they didn't provide that service or tell me. They will not refund you, the DM is a total d-head who argued and hung up the phone, contacted the Better Business Bureau and spoke with the VP who also is useless and wouldn't return calls. I called inquiring about the cost of mounting a set of tires I purchased through an online resource. My vehicle is a Ford Super Duty P/U with 18" wheels. First the guy said his equipment is limited to 10K pounds and will not lift the truck, which weighs 5300 pounds. Then the guy said to mount and balance a set of tires not purchased from them is $100.00 per tire or $400 + taxes and whatever else. The funny thing is I drive by this particular Tire Kingdom (2965 Columbia Blvd) often and they never seem to be that busy, so I thought I could get right in. Well there business model of supporting only the products they sell explains it. Interestingly, I went to Tire Kingdom and asked about tires for my truck and was told they were out of stock, therefore I couldn't get a quote. Quoted $89 over the phone and verified that the tire balance was included in the $89 price. Showed up to pick up my vehicle and my total was over $200 because my vehicle was a 'speciality' vehicle so the alignment was $124.99 and balancing was $15.99 per tire, plus of course $18.90 in 'shop fees' and $11.48 in tax. I was shocked. After I told them I was quoted different over the phone, they said it's because they didn't put my vehicle year make and model in the system (my fault, how? I told you it over the phone...) and that there is 'no way' they would quote a balance free with alignment (well, you did and I have a witness that you did). I purchased 4brand new 70k mile tires on Jan 26th 2022from Columbia Blvd store,sorry my father bought them as a gift which we have the same name except im a Jr. That's all the slack I will give them. I e been goin there since 2013 and never will again. 2hrs after installation 1 of the tires threw a weight so I had to go back they put the weight back on and down the road I went jumped on 95 and at 68mph it would start to shake your fillings out. So I go back and have every month . Mike and every manager there has tried to put it all on me because they are horrible managers . Not sure how they even got the job. So finally I said to just change the damn tires out im tired of shaking my truck and my filling out they say I'm past that time. Don't understand why they didn't have the brains to just send the tires back and replace them I mean they do make bad new tires. So instead they let me come for 9 almost 10 months with this problem and tell me to go to Parks Dodge to get a road force balancing and of course this is after me asking them to let there mechanic look under my truck and inspect to see if anything would make it do this Mike says we are in the middle of hiring a new mechanic come back in a couple weeks which turned into another month gone by with the shaking. So I go to Dodge and low and behold you'd never guess , there is not 1 but 2 bad tires . 1 took 4 ¹ /² Oz to balance and was crap tire the other took 3 ³/ Oz and another crap tire. So I have almost 18k miles on a 70k set of tires on top of that the tires that were bad were on the front and Dodge also said that my tire have shook for so long that my tiered was starting to get some play in it bit nor necessary to replace immediately. So now they have Dodge telling them what's wrong because they don't have the proper equipment to check for that problem and only want to put 2 tires on my truck after 9 months of going in there and they should have just exchanged all 4 tires so they would wear the same instead of 2 having 18k on them and 2 new what a joke. Then I wad told they are ordering 2 tires thats it , period which tells me that there lack of preparation is no priority on my part. So I was scheduled to come get the 2 tires and couldn't make it on time because I'm disabled and have to get injections in my back, neck and shoulders every month and I'm sore after anyways I made an appointment and went at 7am to meet the other crappy manager after 45min he says Mike the head crappy manager the 1 that said I had 70k on my truck when I brought it in to get tires and it had 97k on it had ordered the wrong size tires which I still can't understand because we have the same receipt same tire size on it but he did. So now John the other crappy manager tells me I have to go find a dealer that sells continental sure contact tires you know the tire made specifically for tire kingdom so it's already a goat roping now I have to go find a dealer that sells my tires and John says he has the paperwork on the warranty so I find a place and that manager calls John and asks how it will be handled and guess what there is no warranty paper and nothing is covered by any1 . I go back and cuss his ass out for making me go do what they do which is lie to somebody and tell them something that isn't true. So I had to pay $384 to replace the 2 bad tires I was sold by tire kingdom and have only 18k miles on them . Now I have 2 different tires on front and back and I'm out 384$ and they are all still under the new tire limited warranty supposedly covered by Tire Kingdom. I have talked to managers ,corporate people and any1 else that suppose to have some clout there to get nothing . I should not have to have or settle for just 2 tires when I've been goin in the store since 2 hrs after they were put on and every month since when they should have just exchanged them all. On top of that I also have to pay to fix my tie rod that there tires have screwed up. We were looking for tires for our car and saw we could book an appt online. So we did and they gave us an appt on July 4 for 4 Cooper tires. We get there on July 4th and they are open.... But their warehouse is NOT open and once we get there they say they cannot get the tires. Understandable.... Right?! Said tires will be there 8 in the morning so we reschedule for 12:30. Get there a second time .... No tires again!!! Some story that they didn't have 4 of that kind of tire. So we decide to wait for them to come up with 4.... I go home. So I had an appointment today at 11 to get a nail removed from the left front (purchased 2 sets of tires with road hazard insurance from them). This is the Tire Kingdom by Target--NOT the one by Ace Hardware downtown. So back to the appointment, I watched a man come in ~30 minutes after me with no appointment and get his car put on the racks immediately. I asked why. I was told it was a sensor light that he had light up on his dashboard panel. Also, I chatted with the man and found out he had no appointment--wtf. Tire Kingdom sold me ROAD HAZARD INSURANCE. Hazard implies it's for safety issues yes? Then how does a sensor get you waited on immediately as soon as you walk in the door with no appointment? Kinda seems like insurance fraud here or misrepresentation of an insurance product which is a misdemeanor in the great state of Florida. Needless to say I had it fixed elsewhere and will be seeking a refund of the cost of the road hazard insurance from Tire Kingdom. Beware -- appointments with them are meaningless too. read more

It's not just the cost of the tire, it's all the other stuff- mounting, balancing, shop fees, disposal fees, et al. If another place does have lower prices on comparable tires they will price match. I got a flat just before closing on a holiday weekend, and immediately called to see if they could patch me up before they closed. Even though they were trying to finish everything up to go home, the men here didn't miss a beat to squeeze me in. My friends and neighbors. My rant ! , if this is removed I am sorry for posting. Just have to tell folks my pain. My 2015 truck has only had oil changes at the dealership purchased until 9/2017. At that time I took the truck to @tirekindom on Washington (US1)in Titusville FL at that time. All good. December 2017 I took that truck to @tirekingdom on Columbia in Titusville for a oil change, all good. Yes, I have receipts. So 4/28/18 I take my truck back to Tire Kingdom , Titusville on Columbia for a 9am appointment. I get a bomb shell dropped on me by them saying "someone" stripped out my oil drain plug and put helicoil in to fix the stripped thread. When the drain bolt was removed the helicoil repair fell out and now the drain plug will not go back in because the thread is stripped. The cost to repair would be replacing the oil pan. That will be $2,500.00. That is $450.00+ for the Part and 13 hours of Labor..... Boom! So come to your own conclusions? How in the Sam Hill can that happen when you're the only one that changes the oil? I have the receipts that clearly show the mileage accurately. Let me guess. When the oil was changed by your store in December of 2017, your person cranked down on the plug screw and stripped it. Then panicked. Slammed a helicoil in for a quick fix and thought that would not be discovered. Then the store person who was extremely polite tells me, "it is against store policy to do such a thing". I asked what is a helicoil, and that very same store person opens up a drawer at his desk and pulled out a "bag" of them in different sizes. Holy crap, really? Do I look that stupid. If using them is against store policy then why do you have a bag of them? I stopped them right there. Had my truck towed to the Chevy dealer , no engine oil, and that is where it is at waiting to see what can be done to fix something that "not me" did. Lesson. I will keep my tone civil. Just beware. My car was running rough & they diagnosed it as a bad ignition coil + needed a tune up. They charged $271.59 for the ignition coil. There is a line item for labor to R&R 6 ignition coils. They only replaced one. Understood that the coils have to be removed to replace the spark plus, but that line item is misleading, if not intentionally dishonest. They also charged shop fees of $35 on a $846.74 sub-total which is almost 4%. I called their corporate customer service about the cost of the part (you can get all 6 for the price they charged for 1), the discrepancy in the work performed vs. the invoice, and ridiculous $ shop fees. Would not recommend. Went in for a basic oil change, left with a brand new oil pan. After dropping the car off I get a call about 1 hour later that there is a problem, asked to come back to the shop to discuss. Turns out the tech over torqued the drain plug and it will no longer stay in. Was told my options were to pay them to fix something they broke or tow my car away. They refused to come down on the price or do anything. Then refused to take my car off the lift without a tow there to take it away. I will never go there again. read more

I took my wife's car for a 50K service, the store is convenient and very close to my wife's work . - This store charged me for a "fuel injector cleaning" I did not request. Unresolved. - The service specified a spark plug and oil change...that was NOT done as initially requested. Another trip back - After the tire rotation and balance, the tires / wheels ( original purchased there ) made very loud road whine that was not present before. I was told the technician rotated the tires "incorrectly". It was redone...the noise is quieter but still present making the car almost undriveable. 2 return trips. Unresolved. - 5 months later my wife was driving back from work when the car started missing and the Check Engine Light came on. She was next to Tire Kingdom when this occurred and rolled in to the store. She ask them to check it out. The charged her $102.dollars for the privilege and informed her it was a bad spark coil and required a special tool to remove it...go to the dealership. 5 months earlier they removed the coils, either with out the tool or they had the tool to remove it to change the spark plugs. If she had called me I would have told her to continue to drive home but she made the choice and I cant fault her for that. - I called another Tire Kingdom with out discussing the problem and they informed me that changing the plugs \ spark coil assembly was no problem and a engine diagnostic and safe check was 59.99. - The day after I called the manager and he said they would refund the charges for the "engine diagnostic" he said for her to stop by and get the credit/refund. She did. They refused saying she need to come back when the service tech who rang up the original sale was there. 3 trip Unresolved. I hope it's just this one store, regardless, I will not do business with them in the future. For that reason I can only recommend Tire Kingdom for simple tire sales, only if they have the best price and if you mount them yourself at a reliable vendor. I took my daughter's Jeep to be serviced at the Titusville, FL Washington Ave location on June 6, 2015. The sole purpose of the service was to ensure she would have no issues when she returned to her duty station in NC and I told them that specifically. They did a transmission fluid drain and fill and must have lost a very important clip and replaced it with the incorrect size. In South Carolina the hose blew off and stranded her several hours from her duty station. Luckily she left a day early. After the tow, the night in the hotel to wait for her Jeep to be fixed properly, the cost to replace all the transmission fluid she lost and get the RIGHT part it cost her $726.53. I reported all of this to the Manager Al Krieger who said he would forward it to "Corporate" and I have heard NOTHING from them. My car was serviced for brakes at the tire kingdom on Columbia drive and was NEVER fixed properly, NEVER worked, Mark the manager said that he would contact the corporate office in hopes to get my money back and apparently he NEVER did because he NEVER called me back. This was so much BAD customer service and I will NEVER bring my car their for tires or anything else. I do NOT believe the technicians knew what they were doing. My car was a 2009 Lincoln MKX. I had my vehicle in their shop October 9, 2018 and have ALL the receipts that I PAID them $982.42. I had to have my car towed to the Merritt Island Lincoln dealer, I used C&L towing and have the receipt ($131.00), I also had to rent a rental car from Enterprise ($138.69). I do have ALL of the receipts. I would like to be REIMBURSED for all the money I spent, a total of $1251.11. Be aware that making an appointment means nothing. Something they fail to tell you when you call to make one. All it means is that WHEN you arrive you will be put on the list next. My 5:00pm appointment turned out to be "Well with all the people who just drove in we can get in about 7." I told the manager to push the truck out and I would have my pickup towed to a different provider. He refused. Said for liability reasons he would not release the truck until the pan was replaced. I came by here simply to fill up water jugs I had in order to get my car back to my local mechanic. They were willing to fill then up for me, and the mechanics there were interested in what was going on with my car, which was unknown to me, as I had been doing small items to try to narrow the problem down. They had some guys who were experts at Honda, which my car is, and they helped me realize what my car needed. They were very professional and friendly the whole time. I picked up my car after the repairs and a few days later something else happened,.not directly related to what they had done, and they took the car in and handled it at no charge to me. Mike the manager is extremely friendly and professional, one of the guys even gave me a ride home when I needed to leave it the second Time. The guys kept my car clean while they worked on it and provided timely updates. They did exactly what we asked them to make sure they had identified the entire problem and then went above and beyond repairing a short in a wire after the initial repair at no charge.
