I purchased two new Continental high-performance tires from Tire Kingdom and paid for installation and balancing. Shortly after leaving the store, my vehicle developed a severe vibration at highway speeds, starting around 80 mph and becoming extremely noticeable by 95 mph. I returned to the store to have the issue checked, and after another inspection and balancing attempt, I was informed that the tires had not been properly balanced. My concern is that a customer should not have to make multiple trips to correct a basic service that should have been completed correctly during the original installation. These are premium tires, and I paid for professional installation and balancing. Having to return several times for the same issue is inconvenient, wastes my time, and reduces confidence in the quality-control process. A severe vibration at highway speeds should have been identified and corrected before the vehicle was returned to the customer. While I appreciate the staff's willingness to recheck the vehicle, I am disappointed that it took multiple visits to address a problem that should have been resolved on the first visit. I hope Tire Kingdom improves its balancing and inspection procedures to prevent other customers from having a similar experience. read more

Got a NASTY massive screw and 3 nails stuck in my Porsche panamera with no spare. I pulled into the 7-eleven , about 800ft from tire kingdom in wesley chapel. I spoke to Mike the service manager and he came over within 5 minutes and lifted the car took the tire back to the shop and came back 10 minutes later. From the time that I called them until the time it took them to fix my tire was maybe 35 mins. They are MIRACLE workers. I brought my care in for a tire repair to Tire Kingdom on Wesley Chapel Blvd. The service person call me up and told me that I needed new CV joint since they were leaking and going to cause severe problems. I wanted a second opinion so I brought my vehicle over to Christian Brothers Auto repair to inspect my CV joints. They sent me back pictures showing that the CV joints were in great shape and did not need replacing. Tire Kingdom has lot my business for ever and I will always recommend Christian Brother Auto Repair. read more

Had a vehicle I was selling inspected here for the customer (there request). Tire Kingdom said the tires were to small to my customer when they were the original manufacturer recommended that I put on brand new. Also told her a lot of suspension work was needed costing over $2,500. Total BS from these people. I lost my sale from her but God sent me a better buyer. Don't take your vehicle here, look at previous comments there in it for the money and not to HELP. They need to keep the lights on some how . Be careful here. read more

Went in today for brake pads for rear asked them to check front they came back and said my front and rear brakes at a 3 and I had to get rotors even if not needed but just because I was at a 3 and said $800 something for all. I asked them why they are making me het rotors when they are not needed and all they could say was because I was at a 3. I had no damage to my rotors. I go to Pep Boys in Lutz just asked them to check my brakes they said your ONLY at a 3 for rear and 7 for front. Wow the lies they told trying to just get that money! I am calling corporate office tomorrow so everyone, get second or even a third opinion before dishing out for these types of services read more

You people should be ashamed of yourself! My daughter went in because her check engine light was on. So they gave her a $3,000 estimate to replace the exhaust the manifold and all her sensors! I went for a second opinion and it turns out it's her converter! Had she let tires plus do this It would have been highway robbery! I'm just wondering how many other customers you've lied to about work that doesn't need to be done and charge them anyway because you lied and convince them that it had to be done? I'd like to believe in this day and age that mechanics don't still see dollar signs when they see a single woman come in, but I'm quite sure that was the case today. I came in for a full synthetic oil change on my Audi, and after a free inspection, I was told I need new tires (that are only 2 years old and about 7k miles on them) but also needed shocks and struts to the tune of $1,800 to $2,000. Lucky for me, I have a friend that specializes in European cars and who I took my car to immediately after my appointment, and he told me that I needed neither. I'm not one that's easy to screw over but it makes me sad to think of the people (men, woman and elderly) who take your shop at their word and have work done they don't need. We are all currently struggling financially, whether it be the economy, the aftermath of the back to back hurricanes, or both!! DO BETTER!! read more

ATTENTION LADIES, DO NOT GO HERE!! They will take advantage of you thinking you know nothing about cars and then turn around and overcharge you to fix something that isn't even the problem. My daughter has been a loyal customer ever since we moved into this neighborhood. Her husband is a mechanic and can do oil changes for her but she comes here for convenience. This passed week she took her vehicle in for a basic oil change and they messed up her car. My daughter didn't realize it until the next day we saw a pool of oil on my driveway. She took her vehicle back in and they told her it had nothing to do with the oil change they did and it was another issue which was going to cost $1000 plus. Trying to take advantage of her, so my daughter brings the car home and has her husband look at it. Within a few seconds he noticed they messed up the oil filter housing. Now we are all humans and make mistakes but what pisses me off is instead of admitting your mistake you try to take advantage of a young female to gain profit. So unprofessional! A simple mistake that should have been resolved immediately when she returned to the car. It took her husband going there and providing proof of their mistake to fix it. Now I have a huge oil stained driveway that I'll have to pay to get cleaned and our wasted time. read more

Trust the reviews here. Scheduled an appointment through their website. On the site I selected my car make model and year. It told me they had a tire and allowed me to schedule an appointment. When I showed up they informed me they don't change tires for Teslas even though their website will let you schedule with you make and model identified. No apologies just showed me the door..... Giving these guys a 1 start review because I gave them the chance to make this right and they barely put any effort into getting this resolved. On 9/21 my wife decided to bring her car in for an oil change. She gets her oil change pays her bill and drives back home. Later that night she goes to drive the car and the car is leaking oil all over the driveway. She immediately turns the car off and waits for the next day. 9/22 she brings the car back into tire kingdom and without even throughly looking over the work they had performed they deem the oil pan to be the source of the massive oil leak that is pouring oil onto the ground and tell her with the upmost confidence that has nothing to do with the work they did while performing the oil change. My wife not knowing much about cars takes the car right back home luckily we live only 1 miles away but in that 1 mile the low oil light came on. So I get home and decide to take a look at the car myself because the amount of oil leaking out just doesn't make sense. With in 30 seconds with the car on I clearly see the stream of oil shooting out of the side of the oil filter housing. Which is something they just touched! So now I go over to tire kingdom myself and see explain the situation to the service advisor Victor who I will was very helpful and understanding of the situation. I ask if I can speak to manager and he says they are not onsite but he will get this taken care of. Victor had a tow truck at my house within a few hours to pick up the car. He calls me at the end of the day and tells me that they fixed the leak and the oil filter housing o-ring was the problem the entire time. I came in early the next morning to pick up the car and inspect the work. They did fix the leak but never cleaned any of the oil in the engine bay or under shield ask to speak with manager again and of course nobody knows when he will be in and I have not even received a call from a manager. For $120 that we paid for the oil change I will from now take our cars to the dealership and happily pay triple the price as the headaches and inconvenience isn't worth saving the extra money. Dealer confirmed TIRE KINGDOM reused my old oil filter AND OIL WAS SPLAYED ALL OVER BASE OF VEHICLE. TIRE KINGDOM charged me for a new oil filter. This was verified by a dealer and their investigator and also verified by my professional investigator yet TIRE KINGDOM refuses to pay for their damages to my car The engine seized 10-14 miles after TIRE KINGDOM OIL CHANGE. If I could give Negative Stars, I would. Ford SUV went in for a front wheel alignment. One of the bolts on the upper passenger control arm fell off completely after two weeks; almost resulting in a vehicle accident. Took the SUV back in for them to fix and they would not accept any responsibility for their POOR Workmanship. They wanted to charge labor and parts to replace the control arm bolt and nut; which they should have made sure was correct and locked in place to begin with before it left their Shop. I had to repo the SUV back from them, pick up a bolt from Ford in Lakeland and order a locking nut online and install it myself. I have bought many sets of Tires from Tire Kingdom over the past nineteen (19) years... Not anymore... I will take my business elsewhere where they have REAL Mechanics and Management that take Pride and Responsibility for their repair work. HORRIBLE -- ZERO STARS IF I COULD For tune-up work on my Honda Accord they charged me the following: for 3 ignition coils that can be purchased in any auto parts store for under $100 they charged me $377; for the labor to install them and 6 sparkplugs, which you can see in any YouTube video would take even a non-professional mechanic about 30 minutes to complete, they charged $350. Along with additional labor charges for the diagnostic, the total bill for a basic tune-up was $972. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS BUT IT GETS WORSE After posting a poor Google review they posted a response phone number, which I called and was told a regional manager would return my call promptly to discuss the situation. That was 2 weeks ago and it's quite obvious that their response was only a cynical attempt to appear to the online community that they respond to customer complaints, when in fact it's clear they have no intention of acting in a fair, decent manner. Go to Tire Kingdom if you want to be criminally overcharged, mislead and generally taken advantage of, because that's the actual service that you're going to get. read more

I made the mistake of trying out some other service centers based on recommendations after more things started acting up after expensive repairs I told my wife I'm going back to tire kingdom because in my opinion they have never let me down, they proved once again that they will continue to be my go to shop, the problem was air in the cooling system so they did not charge me anything and the car is running great. I bought a set of 5 tires from Tire Kingdom I thought i was getting a good deal, very professional and a good price, today however I asked how much for mount and balance? good question I thought answer $16.95 per tire OK fair enough, I bought new tires for my trailer and wanted to have the old tires removed and repaint the rims while the tires were off and have new tires put back on the rims, for this it is an extra $10.00 per tire, gee I hope to get some lube as well because I am now getting FU**ED! read more

I had been a loyal customer of Tire Kingdom for almost 20 years. Until a couple days ago. In March I bought 4 new tires for my son's car. They were "mid level" (Sumitomo). Had them before and they were great tires. I wanted him to be safe. So yesterday my son is driving on I275 southbound just north of the Bearss Exit - when the L rear tire BLOWS OUT (at 70mph). He manages to get into the medial strip - right against the concrete barrier. It's only about 2 feet wider than the car, so traffic is flying by at 70-80 mph - just inches from his car. It is a miracle nobody plowed into him - which would have probably would have severely injured him and his GF. Long story short - After the spare is in place, I take the car to Tire Kingdom Wesley Chapel. I rolled the shredded tire into the lobby. I showed the guy at the counter (Bob) my receipt from when I bought the 4 tires in March. Paid $987.65 which included "Road Hazard Warranty" ($23.84 x 4 tires = $95.35 total). The guy at the counter is more annoyed than anything. He tells me "we can replace the tire. It'll be $50.00." I pointed out where I had pre-paid for "Road Hazard Warranty." His reply - "Yes. You are paying ahead for the next time." I said, "So you're telling me anytime I come in with a bad tire - like this - and I 'must pay it ahead every time?'" His reply, "Yes. That's how it works." I asked him if they would look at the other 3 tires to see if there were any visible faults that could cause any of the other tires to "blow out." His reply, "No." Well, Tire Kingdom got my $50. And has lost me as a customer. I WILL NEVER buy another tire from Tire Kingdom again. If you are a member of Tire Kingdom management - look me up - you will see I've bought many tires over many years. What good is paying for the "Road Hazard Warranty" - when you must pay $50 "for the next time?" So then the "next time" you'll pay another $50, and so on, again and again. I guess so you'll "have the privilege of pre-paying again." Anyone out there who is looking for tires - beware. read more

He only acts professional to you if you entertain his conversations but if you don't boy oh boy will you be waiting forever for anything to be done to your vehicle. 4 hours for an alignment when i had an appointment and was there on time. Maybe if the manager talked less and made up less stories things would get done sooner because he wouldn't have to spitefully delay work on your car because you brushed him off. Ah, automotive...the impossible to please the customer industry, right? Well I have to agree with Kimberly on her assessment of this place. Service was quick and prompt, but I felt like I was dealing with a log. Seriously, the guy, Thomas, was like a robot or something, except that a robot might do a better job at making eye contact. Or smiling. I have to say, that my ex-husband worked in automotive, and I know that there are plenty of genuinely decent people that work in the automotive industry (too bad he isn't one, hehe). Anyhow, he decided to call around to the local tire places for me to pull some connections and get me in quick and for cheap. Even with me being referred there by someone who deals directly with Tire Kingdom (a supplier of parts) the dude had NO personality. Awful. I even asked how long, he said an hour, I asked if they called and his response was that he'd call if I wasn't there. Did he? Nope. And when I returned he dealt with customers showing for the first time instead of having someone check me out. He only did that when someone came up front and asked if anyone was picking up since 2 cars were waiting outside. I was actually called, "green shirt", lol. Good news is, the other guy was AWESOME. It took me three tires to figure out the pattern that every puncture is "too close to the sidewall" to repair and you must purchase replacements. That third tire was quickly patched by another shop. As an experiment, I took a 4th tire. Same reply and once again easily patched down the street. Once they even tried to sell me a replacement air filter. The inexperienced tech did not recognize that it is a Borla intake system with a lifetime filter. read more

Sooo many repair shops would have taken advantage of me there. No charge for my visit and their trouble, and when I got outside, they had washed my car! DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR OR TRUCK TO TIRE KINGDOM WESLEY CHAPEL! While Tire Kingdom was able to get my car in to their shop for four new tires, their work was terrible. And costly. Tire Kingdom put four new tires on my car. When I left the shop with the four new tires on my car, I still had a tire pressure warning light on my car. I was told to drive on my tires for a couple of days and the light would go off. It didn't. I called them three days later to describe my issue and I was told that it would be a quick, 15 minute fix. It wasn't. They had my car for an hour. When they finally brought my car back, I was told that every single warning light on my car was flashing and that it was that way when I brought it into the shop. It wasn't. I had one single warning light going off, not 12 different lights and bells and warnings. They suggested that I take it to the car dealership because they didn't know how to repair it. The car dealership was able to fix all of the electronics that Tire Kingdom massively screwed up on my car. For the price of $300. Can I prove it? No. But they did. Did they completely screw up my car? Yes. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR OR TRUCK HERE! (Unless of course, you want to have them do a crap job.) Would not let these people work on a Hot Wheels car! Misdiagnosed my battery as bad, after removing it and having it tested elsewhere as good, they retested it and it was good. Just had to pay $128 to fix their "alignment ". They FAILED to retighten things when they were finished. By the way, they also won't take responsibility for their ineptitude!
