My experience with Tire Kingdom, specifically this location has been more than troubling. To briefly summarize my experience, I purchased tires from this organization prior to relocating to Michigan. At the time of purchase and when scheduling the appointment to place the tires on the vehicle, I conveyed that I was moving, that I needed to have tires that would last and be good in winter and summer climates. When I booked my appointment for a week in advance I was called very quickly to schedule to come in same day and that I would get a good deal. I went in to have the tires installed and again conveyed that I was moving to Michigan and that I was going to need these tires to last as they were going on our family vehicle. I was assured that they would work and that Tire Kingdom stands behind their work. After signing off to have the work done, Ryan, the Manager started to inform me of all the great benefits of Tire kingdom when he had to retract and simply stated that they did not have any tire kingdoms in Michigan, so I wouldn't get access to all the great perks. Unfortunately, this also meant that Ryan did not sell me road hazard insurance on the tires. A service any tire seller work offer, to protect my $500 investment from things like potholes and other road wear breakages. So after only 1200 miles of driving, the front left Somitomo Tire began to develop a large bulge in the sidewall. We took it to a place up here (in Michigan) who stated that it appears to have been a pot-hole (though we do not recall encountering anything that would have damaged a tire let alone ruined a brand new tire). When I called Tire Kingdom to see what could be done, it was suggested that I drive from Michigan nearly 3 hours into Ohio (on a tire that is failing) to their shop, where they may be able to look at it, but if it was a road hazard issue there is nothing more they could do. No attempt at a good will repair or replacement on the tire - when they specifically failed to offer the warranty that would have protected the tire investment to begin with. I then went to Belle Tire to see if they could request the good-will replacement on my BRAND NEW TIRES but the model of tire is branded to Tire Kingdom. So they are not authorized to deal with those tires. Basically Tire Kingdom purposefully chose to sell me a tire that they could not warranty and which failed in under 45 days of ownership. When Ryan knew there were no stores in MI he should have advised me that he could not provide me with the warranty coverage, and should not have sold me the tires. this was a take the money and run situation. When I called back to express my discontent and that I wanted to know what could be done, he expressed that Tire Kingdom does not give advice and did not "sell tires" he basically "took my order like a McDonalds drive thru teller." If that is the case, I think that it should be known that they view their salesmanship, consumer responsibility and purpose with customer satisfaction to be on the same level as ordering a hamburger. This is unacceptable. A large national brand like tire kingdom who deals with tires and road hazard and warranties should not take advantage of their consumers. I have tires that cannot have road hazard warranty. This is the same as selling me a home that is uninsurable (when you know in advance that it can't be insured). Ryan stands by his notion that this is an issue of "buyer's remorse" when it is in fact an issue of a seller, choosing to make a sale instead of doing what is right by their customers. If they could not have issued the warranty, and if they knew that I would be at a disadvantage as a consumer they should have informed me as part of their fiduciary responsibility. As a side note - Costco (the place I purchased my other set of tires from for my Passat) provides road hazard warranties on every tire sold without question or additional up-charge. I could not be more dissatisfied with this situation and the position taken by Tire Kingdom. I feel that if they will not work to rectify the issue, that I will ensure that as many people as possible know about the terrible service, and their stance on how they treat their customers. Clearly, if you are looking for knowledgeable staff that would provide you with full disclosure, detailed help and honest advise on the best choice to make, then you should look elsewhere. If you are instead looking to consume tires and automotive care with the same level of concern and discretion as you would put to choosing a value meal, and expecting the same degree of advice and involvement from the retailer - then this is your place. read more

As a woman with little knowledge of cars, I have been to several car repair/tire shops that have tried to take advantage of me. However, that is not at all the case at Tire Kingdom on Aloma Avenue. They truly have some of the most honest and kind people working there. I have been to this location several times throughout the course of my time living in the area, and EVERY single time that I go, everyone with whom I interact there is so wonderful. They always explain to me what is wrong with my car (in terms that I can understand), often do not charge me for little things like fixing a tire, and explain the charges that I do incur while there. The first time that I went, I thought that maybe I was just lucky and had worked with a really nice mechanic. However, I have had the same great experience with everyone who has worked on my car since then as well. I have moved again, and I am actually driving somewhat out of my way just so that I can keep coming back to this Tire Kingdom because I really trust them. They are really excellent and I cannot say enough positive things about them and my experiences there. read more

They specialize in correcting other car repair mistakes and they gladly put things right. The guys are the best around. They do great work at very good prices and there is a nice waiting room in case you have to spend time waiting. They treat each customer well and I have yet to see a bad situation walking out the door. read more
