We were supported by a great staff from sales through install. Everything looks fantastic and the kitchen was installed on time. I will continue to refer them for any home projects.

After selecting our remnant, we were rushed into choosing our templates prior to the installation the following day. When I noticed a spot marked with a green X, I was assured it was a small hole that would be filled with epoxy and we would never notice it. We moved forward based on that assurance. When the counters were installed, we found 10 to 15 visibly mismatched epoxy repairs and a noticeable scratch. The one repair I had specifically asked about was the worst of all. A technician came out the following week, acknowledged the repairs didn't match, and admitted our salesperson should have disclosed them -- but suggested most predated Colonial's purchase of the stone, meaning we were sold a heavily repaired remnant with zero disclosure. What followed has been four months of inexcusable customer service. I called 3 to 5 times per week and almost never heard back. When I finally reached Wendy in management on April 2, 2026, she was unaware of key details and said she'd follow up with the service department. It is now June 1, 2026, and I have not received a single callback since. I want to be fair: the counters themselves are beautiful, and every service technician who came to our home was professional and exceptional. This is purely a failure of customer service at the management level. We live 45 minutes away and have busy lives, but we are now left with no choice but to drive there in person just to find someone willing to speak with us. We were prepared to give Colonial more of our business. Instead, we have been ignored for months over an issue that -- at least in part -- was clearly their responsibility. The lack of basic decency in returning a customer's call is something I never expected from a professional company. I would urge anyone considering Colonial Marble & Granite to think carefully before trusting them with a significant purchase.

The flooring itself came in quickly and the install was scheduled. We took a vacation day from work for the installation, only to receive a text from Karly the day before saying they needed to reschedule with no explanation or apology for the late notice. Once the carpet was removed, we were told a subfloor needed to be installed. Even before the carpet was taken up you could clearly see that the kitchen floor was higher. Why did Karly miss that when she came to measure? The subfloor was installed so we rescheduled the install. We specifically scheduled the install for 1:00 PM because we had earlier commitments.  The installers arrived early and immediately complained that they had been "sitting around all morning doing nothing" and asked why we didn't call for them to come sooner. There was a full unopened box and another half open box of flooring left over. While cabinets were going to be installed in part of the area, that information apparently was not relayed to Karly. However, even accounting for the cabinet area, there was clearly still too much flooring left over for such a small space. When I called Floor Concepts to see if we could return the unopen box Karly was extremely rude and insisted she personally measured everything correctly. (even though she missed the kitchen floor being higher than the room we were renovating) Talked to Sean and got nowhere with him. I later went into the store to show them a picture that the installers reused the old transition instead of installing a matching new transition. It looks terrible. Once again, Karly was extremely rude and blamed us, saying we must have installed the wrong thickness of the subfloor. That was not true. The subfloor height matched the powder room floor, which was also being replaced. Karly had personally measured the space and it was obvious even before the carpet was removed -- that the kitchen floor sat higher than the flooring being installed. I called and spoke with Sean again and once again got no where with him. He told me there was nothing he could do other than offer to sell me a custom transition piece for another $200-$300. Seriously, for a 2.5' piece of wood? Shouldn't that be included in the price? At that point, I was completely done dealing with Karly's attitude and Sean's unwillingness to help with anything. While the flooring itself looks nice, except for the transition the customer service, communication, scheduling issues, and unwillingness to take responsibility made this a very disappointing experience overall.  I did not feel like a valued customer.  There are plenty of other places to choose from for our next flooring project.

Interior shelves are NOT soft close. I spoke with the sales woman and after looking into it she discovered that those items do not come with that feature with that line of Merillat cabinets. Evidently, she doesn't understand what the word EVERYTHING means. I would have been more that willing to purchase a different line, even if it meant more money, but now we're stuck with subpar equipment. She offered to give me partial credit if I purchased a new countertop through them, but I refuse to do any more business with them. Why give them another chance to screw things up. I will not name the sales woman. She's a representative of Reico so it's a direct reflection upon their company by hiring her in the first place. UPDATE - I received a personal phone call from Jim Grace, VP of marketing for Reico Kitchen and Bath. I have to admit that I was stunned that someone in his position would take the time to contact me to let me know that everything was going to be corrected. More companies should take a lesson from him. When the problems are fixed, I will happily change the rating to 5 stars as it would be deserved. Thanks again Jim.
