I would not refer this tire shop to anyone. Why? We bought two tires from them. We drove a mile and the tire sensor light came on. We returned to the tire shop and told them. They said we had to manual clear the error message. We was not aware of resetting the sensor so they assisted us. The next day while driving over the bridge the sensor light came on again. After my trip to the City, I went back to the tire shop, the worker checked the tire pressure again and said it's ok It's the same pressure from yesterday. They advised me to go to the dealership to check the sensor The next day I went to the dealership, the technician check the tire pressure and all four tires had 10 pts more than it specify for the car. He released the excess pressure and cleared the tire pressure message. Since then, I had no other issues. You would think the technician at the tire store would know to check the label in the car door of what the tire pressure should read. read more

High priced used tires and they always scratch your rims. When you complain about any damage they argue with you or give you some kind of run around no matter what it's not their fault and will not make it right. My car was wobbling so I knew I had a tire problem. I couldn't problem solve myself so I called and they were available to see me immediately. I went in and asked for a tire balancing ($10 a tire). After a quick check they discovered a bubble on my tire and recommended a replacement instead of a balancing. They had a used tire my size. For the tire AND installation it was $60. My wife had a tire with a slow leak. She was told in SF that that tire was fine and it kept leaking. We needed a quick fix on Sunday late in the afternoon that I was little skeptical about getting it fixed and was going to wait till Monday. I called them and was to just bring it in. The tech replacing my tires was trying to get a weight off and instead of using the scraper properly, just decided to start whacking at it with a tool and literally dinged the entire inside of my rim!!! When trying to talk to someone, Jacob - the manager, just told me it is what it is and what do I want him to do?? I asked to discount the tire or something to make up for is and he just shrugged me off and said no, it wasn't their fault, that's just how they do it. Extremely disappointed!!! Found a huge nail in my tire. Pulled in, showed it to them, and they had it fixed -- all in about 5 minutes. Great price, too! We also had come here several months ago for what we thought was a minor repair, but turned out it was in the sidewall so we needed to replace the tire. They did it efficiently and charged us a reasonable price, and we've had no problems with that tire. read more

Let me share the horrible experience I just went thru. I went to replace a tire at this tire shop and was given a quote over the phone and told they had my tire size. When I arrived, they confirmed they had the tire for my car and changed the tire. Once it was time to pay, the worker was quoting me $30 higher than the quote given over the phone for the same tire. Once I made a mentioned this, receptionist explained he was mistaken, but couldn't explain why I was being overcharged. It does NOT end here. Today I had to take my car to an auto mechanic because of a noise it was making & also driving differently. My car is 4 matic all wheel drive and only ever services in the dealer. It is a luxury car. Turns out I was sold a completely different tire that DOES NOT GO WITH MY CAR and was driving around without knowing this. Mechanic immediately urged me to replace the tire and to return to the dealer to assess for damage after (as this can cause damage to the transmission & engine). When I went to the shop with the purchase receipt and asked to speak to the Owner, he accused me and said I 1.lied because the tire looked brand new. I had original receipt of purchase. I didn't care about the money or tire I cared about them knowing they had damaged my vehicle due to their error and Owner just said tire wasn't purchased there and it looked new. Makes no sense. I was insulted and humiliated after purchasing multiple tires from here in the past I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone again. Unprofessional. Very rude and zero customer service. I'm so grateful they were open today, Sunday! Had a leaking rear tire on my '24 BMW X3 M and for three days had to reinflate my tire every 25 miles. Had to go to work later today and Monday. Nobody else open. They immediately and efficiently, albeit quietly, went to work on my car right there in the parking spaces. Found the offending nail and actually had the unusual high performance replacement tire right in shop! In and outing about 40 minutes. Very pleased... Great work guys! read more

Stay far from this tire shop! I would not recommend Tire Sales and Service Co in Oakland. My wife recently purchased a set of brand new tires from them, and not only did they break our tire pressure monitor system, but they also charged us $80 for the privilege. When I brought the car in, there was nothing wrong with the system, but three days later, one of the tires went flat on the freeway. When we went back to the shop, they refused to replace the tire, even though it looked like it was a defect. The staff had a terrible attitude, telling me that I must have hit a pothole, which was not true. They then tried to sell me a new tire for $180, I said no and shopped around and got the same brand for $130. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and we will not be returning to this shop.
