I took my car today I needed to install 4 new tires , with balancing. $25 each. And they manage to brake from right NUT so I was left with only 4. And that's not all. After leaving I heard a noise from the back it ended up that the whole tire was loose ! The damage could have been enormous. I personally would never ever recommend this place to anyone. I had too, because it was Sunday and everything else was close. Next time I will wait. I also have time to mention their way of talking to costumer is awful. Who they dare to come after damage they did, not even apologize, but try to blame it on my past tire guy ? You guys are wrong and karma will visit you boys real soon. Shame on all of you. read more

This is my go-to place for ALL my tire needs. They are quick, affordable, and very friendly. I love how they are a family businesses going back 2-3 generations! Since Oakland has terrible roads, you can guess I always have tire needs. I am always getting slow leaks on my tires that need a patch-up. I take my car to Fernando's and get a patch up in under 20 minutes for a very, very reasonable price! Would give zero stars if that was an option. We had a nail in our tire and were losing air fast. Looked up the nearest tire service open and Fernando's came up. Their hours of operation were until 6 pm on a Saturday. We quickly and as safely as we could drive to Fernando's only to find a fella closing up shop at 5:25pm. Shoutout to the homies here for hooking it up. Short and simple: I've been here twice because of tire issues. First time I was just to fill the air in my tires. They charged me a dollar to do all four. Second time was because I had a nail in my tire. How it works is: If you want a simple check up on your tires (lets say your tire pressure light is on), they'll charge you 5 bucks to check them all. They charge 15 if they need to do something to the tires, such as take a nail out. In my case, I had a nail in my rear tire. The prices vary by a couple bucks depending on tire size. 18" was 15 bucks I think. They brought the tire to the back, took the nail out, patched it and everything, bam. Good as new. Took a total of maybe 10 minutes. Seems like a family business, the people are very friendly and straight forward. They're just doing their job and they do it well. I'll be back if I have tire issues. Recommended. P.S. when you arrive, just pull into the actual garage (its very small and fits one car) but just pull in. They'll take it from there. I'd give this place a zero if it was possible. This place has truly gone down hill since the first owner. It's all new faces now. I have called to ask about a tire rotation where I was told it would cost me $15. When I arrived, he watched me pull in but as I got out of the car he went out back and didn't show up for a few minutes. Once he finally showed up, I reminded him that I called about the $15 tire rotation which he then says 'no its $20'. Wasn't happy about it but I okay'd it. He asked me to pull up which I promptly did. I asked him if he wanted me to put it in neutral, which he answers with 'yes', then screams at me because the car started to roll a little. I asked again 'park or neutral?', and he continues to scream and refused service. Prior to this little incident, he had a disagreement with another customer that was asking about tires. This use to be my number one tire shop. Now, I wouldn't even look it's way. read more

You get what you pay for. Needed to mount 1 tire in rim.with balance . Prices is cheap . I was told tire is perfect balance needed no weight in rim. Total bullshit. Wobbles steering wheel at 45 miles on the road. Now needed to find a real store with real balancer. Too bad I own several cars and truck for work. This place replace my tires in 20 minutes or so I had a flat and had to look for the closest tire repair shop and it was only 3 minutes away so this spot was my only option. I already knew my rear tires traction was not that good so I just decided to get a new tire for the right rear side and They helped me right away and finished quick. I decided to purchase 2 new tires to exchange my worn out 2 rear tires yesterday 9/09/22. After it was all done I went to the store nearby. While I was driving home, the low tire pressure icon turned on, I drove straight to Fernando's Tire Service where they told me that it takes time for the icon to go away but they still put more air into the tires. Sure enough, after the guy put air into the rear DRIVER tire that I had JUST purchased 30 minutes ago it went away. Woke up the next day to that same tire inches from the ground! Drove straight there where they insisted it was my tire pressure sensor(THAT HAD GIVEN ME NO ISSUE THE ENTIRE TIME I HAD MY CAR UNTIL I CAME HERE TO GET NEW TIRES) and the tire was fine according to them. They tried to charge me more to see what the issue was. After I just bought 2 "brand new" tires from them and they didn't even make sure that everything was all good before sending me off. I went straight to Big Discount Tire Pros in Alameda where they assisted me swiftly, and came to the conclusion that my tires were over filled with air erratically (all of them different air pressure) and the tire sensor was not put on right and had gunk in it which was the cause of air leaking. Keep in mind I never had any issues with my tire sensors in the past until I came to Fernando's Tire Service. Imagine having to deal with this after work and not being able to get to work the next morning due to the same tire shop who put two new tires on your car messing up those same exact tires. Save yourself time, trouble, money and stress by going somewhere else. Most definitely not worth the price, they'll mess your stuff up and will have the audacity to charge you more to fix the issue they caused!!!! read more
