I strongly recommend Tire Tracks in Mendota. Upon looking at reviews, it should be noted that management has changed at this store. The new store manager is Mitchell. Also, Brian, formally of the Lube Cube is at the front desk as a service writer. I have found both Mitchell and Brian, very respectful and knowledgeable. If you are in need of repair, it never hurts to get a second opinion and see what Tire Tracks in Mendota has to say. Very friendly attentive courteous did a great job but they charge a 3% rip off fee so you don't get five stars get rid of that and then you'll be a 5 Star Place! I'll have to shop elsewhere where they don't charge at those places read more

Quoted $500-600 for a brake job around 8am. Called around 1:30pm and asked how everything was going, was told that they still needed to install a rubber hose. I get a call around 3pm, and the bill was $930. He said they couldn't go down any lower and wouldn't offer a military discount. I could buy the entire rear drum brake kit from O'Reilly's for about $200. The idiot charged me for each individual piece of the brake kit individually then said the job took nearly 3 hours, and he was only charging me for 1.2 hours of labor. Total scam artist. And after I drove home and noticed that my hood was left open and was rattling, on top of they failed to put hub caps back on right and one fell off and got lost and when I called them to ask about it all I got was them not owning up to it. Took the car in to have them inspect a leaking tire they installed/sold, as it was slowly losing air over the course of a week. They took the car back to inspect it, only to come back a few moments later and tell me there was a nail puncture. When I asked to see it myself, they informed me that they'd already removed the tire, begun patching it, and were charging me accordingly. At no point did I ask for them to repair my tire, as there are other places locally to do it for a fraction of the cost. I specifically asked them to "see if the tire was installed incorrectly". If I had wanted the tire repaired for twice what I could have paid, I would have asked them to do that. Even all of this wouldn't have warranted such a low review if it weren't for the sheer rudeness of the man behind the counter. When I informed them that I had not wanted them to patch my tire, he spared no words in trash-talking his competition. This alone speaks volumes about a business. Good service speaks much louder than insults. My next set of tires isn't coming from here, lest they fall victim to another phantom nail. There are many good places around here to get a tire changed, but this isn't one of them. read more

I would not recommend Tire Tracks USA of Mendota. After researching tires and prices, I settled on a specific brand and make of tire. Tire Tracks also had far better pricing on this tire. I called ahead to make sure they had a specific brand (and size) of tire and was told "yes, we have that tire in stock." When I showed up for my appointment, I again verified they had this tire. They told me "yes, we have that tire." When my car was up on the lift with tires removed, they informed me they in fact did not have that tire... and they would "give me a deal" on another brand of tire. These turned out to be the worst tires I have ever owned. They were extremely loud, they wore prematurely (even after recommended tire rotations) and performed poorly in rain and snow. After talking with others about my experience here, I found out Tire Tracks has pulled the same stunt on others in this area. read more

Came here to have new brakes put on. When i went to pick up my car I was told my emergency brake had been broken. Not only did they refuse to fix there mistake they had the audacity to give me a estimate on how much it would cost me to be fixed. I would only recommend coming here if you want your car to be in worse condition coming out than coming in. read more

I would NOT ever go to Tire Tracks in Mendota. I took my 2014 ford escape there for a simple spark plug change and they broke off a plug. they wanted to pull the head at my expense. They said "it came in broke". The manager behind the desk is a complete arrogant ass. From Tire tracks to ABS to Tire Tracks to Mendota Ford and 8 weeks later we received our car back. They made us buy a new motor and then they couldn't get the new engine to run. We asked several times for a loaner car with no avail. The guy who broke the plug is also a arrogant ass. He is not a mechanic anymore than I am. When we finally got the car back, we have two flat spots on the back tires for being on floor jacks to long. I obviously will not be taking it to Tire Tracks for new tires. Just a word to anyone thinking of doing business there, please turn around and run fast. Tire Tracks in Mendota should not be in business. They are the worst company I have ever run across. read more

DO NOT GO TO THESE CROOKS. I have had ok luck with them in the past but new management is crooked and dishonest. I brought my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 mega cab here for new tires a few months back. I drove on them for 3 months and went in for a rotation and they found the ball joints bad. Tires were worn unevenly from side to side, tire tracks said it was because I drove on bad ball joints for 3000 miles, but the wear is indicative of a bad alignment which is what they supposedly did. They replaced the ball joints and said the alignment was fine. Tires are continually wearing unevenly, the manager said it was due to my driving on them with bad ball joints , my question is why they did not replace the bad ball joints when they put the tires on. They did not do correct alignments, and lied to me about the tire being lucky to get 30,000 miles, even though the idiots sold it to me as a heavy duty tire. Place is a joke, they will not take responsibility for their mistakes, I hope this place shuts down so more people don't get bamboozled by these dimwits. read more
