We just bought 4 tires and were asked to pay an extra $107.52 for their Road Hazard Protection Program and 24-Hour Roadside Assistance. Seeing how we already pay AAA for road assistance we tried to decline their offer, but were told we had to pay it. Since we had trouble for a few days getting our tires replaced due to another issue, we were pretty worn down by this point and just paid the money. But it just isn't right. Quite possibly the most absurd and insulting interaction I've ever had with a customer service rep over the phone. I got a flat only 3 months after getting 4 brand new, all season Hankooks. I said my car is AWD and no shop would put on a single different tire and that I needed the exact kind to match my other 3. I told him my size and that they were Hankook New englander 4s. I was told "those tires are specific to the store you purchased the others from, you need to go back". The fact that I got them in RI and now live in NH isn't even the point but is a poignant reminder of his ignorance (who's to say I didn't get them in Florida?!) This is my 13th car; NEVER in my life have I ever heard this! I called town fair who had 50 of them, in my size, in their warehouse. Wish I got this idiots name. You've been warned. read more

I had the pleasure of dealing with the store manager, John Hafford who helped me pick out the best (Michelin) all season tires, even though my main concern was what's best in snow. My daughter was relocating back to the beautiful state of New Hampshire and I wanted a tire she didn't have to worry about. The manager fixed me right up and I was out of there in less than an hour, without an appointment! I purchased the tire protection plan so that my daughter can go back anytime to have them balanced and rotated. I will most definitely use this Derry, NH Tire Warehouse location in the future. Call and have the tires ordered ahead of time and then show up for the appointment and they can't find the invoice and don't even have the tires. Drove up from Boston for the service. Horrible experience. Brought a tire over to be put on a rim Saturday morning. We were told to come back Snday morning at 9 to pick up. Arrived at 9 am only to be told that we "weren't in the system" and that we would have to come back Monday" and that there were 17 people ahead of us, that was only one tech available. The tire was sitting right there. The man would not provide the service and just kept saying we weren't in the system. we just left with the tire to have done elewhere. 100% would not recommend this location. I ordered 4 new tires ,over $10000.00 instead of charging me a deposit they charged the entire purchase price! When I went to my appointment for installation they did not have the tires. The location in Derry was very slow to handle the problem. Never heard from the manager. Had to call customer service to get help with the problem myself. Amazing service. John responded to a call from our daughter. We were in need of a tire repair and could not get to Derry on our donut spare before his closing time. John waited for us and happily took excellent care of us. Did not try to sell me four tires and explained why one only was needed. I'd give them zero stars if I could. I could not have even imagined this level of unprofessionalism in a business! My daughter, who lives in Plymouth, was in Derry visiting, and got a flat tire. Around 3:30 pm she took her car to tire warehouse and was told it would be "a little while" but they'd call when it was done. She left, and waited...and waited...and then around 6:00 when we realized the business closes at 6 and we hadn't heard anything, she tried to call. And they were CLOSED. They NEVER called her, and never told her they weren't going to finish her car that day, and she had no way to get home!! She had to spend the night in Derry and wait until the next day (meaning she had to call off from her job that night!!). If that wasn't bad enough, when she showed up to get it the next day, they told her they had found another issue with another one of her tires, and had replaced TWO of her tires with brand new ones, and they handed her a $206 bill. She was expecting to get a flat fixed. They NEVER called her and told her there was an issue with a second tire, never asked her if they should proceed with the work; they just did it, and charged her for it. She would NOT have given permission for them to replace two of the tires if they had asked. We would have taken it elsewhere. So, a college kid was ripped off of a whole week's pay by these people. AND missed a day's wages because they didn't tell her they were keeping her car overnight. If this isn't ILLEGAL it should be. At the very least it was disgustingly unprofessional and I would warn anybody not to deal with this business EVER. OH! and let's not forget this one-- they handed her one of the lug nuts with the bill and said they had only put 4 on one of the tires, because they couldn't get the 5th one on! WTF. read more

The store was great when the manager John was there, now that he has left the store does not have the service it had before. I had an appointment and when I got there was told it was still an hour + wait. I did not wait so returned later that day and again was told over an hour wait. My mom had a nail in her tire and she needed it plugged in a Saturday afternoon. She called Tire Warehouse, and they said to come right over. They took us right away, and they were done in about 15 minutes. My 2 year old daughter watched (from a safe distance, lol), and she loved it. If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband took our SUV to have our tires replaced, and while they were servicing our car he watched them drop the car from the jacks at an angle, resulting in smashing out our entire rear window. You would think they would be horrified by causing such damage to a customers car and offer to have it fixed immediately (especially since we were expecting a snow storm the next day and I explained to corporate this is our main family car) but corporate claimed they needed to investigate the report, even though the manager told the corporate office in front of my husband that it was their responsibility, and have blown us off now for 2 weeks. We had to pay for the window repair out of our own pockets and now have no choice but to bring them to court. Needed tires twice this last season for two separate vehicles and due to my work scheduled I usually don't make it until 5/5:30 both times they drove to a supplier and had the tires on and ready to go before close. Great service and great pricing. Friendly service and was great at helping decide between tires. They even pulled two different tires in correct sizes so I could compare side by side. Offered additional services and explained the benefits but was not at all pushy when I declined. They do have an excellent protection plan and if I put more miles on my car I would have definitely opted for it. Explained the available rebate offers very well. They were quick and careful and did not damage my rims which has not been my experience at other tire shops in the past. They also use Hunter Road Force balancing which is a more advanced balancer system (no upcharge either!). I will be using them again very soon for our other vehicle. read more

Sent my wife in to see these guys about 4 new tires for her 2010 Corolla. I had a very good experience with the Tire Warehouse in Hudson NH so I figured we'd give these guys in Derry a try. Wrong! They overcharged her by $20 a tire! I called the supervisor and he gave me some BS story about her not having an appointment and not mentioning the "Online Pricing" I told him he's full of it and to refund her the difference, he said send her down again. My wife shows up to get her refund and complain about the set of Yokohama's they sold her were very noisy and rough riding, they refunded her the extra money they charged her but told her they were too busy to help her today. TW advertises we will beat any dealers price quote or the tires are free. Remember this is a written quote which means you have to go to the other dealers, get their written quote and bring the quote to the TW to beat it. I have a coupon for buy 2 get 2 free and told TW I was interested in an eligible Falken tire, the only brand they carried for the coupon to be good. I call the guy on the phone and tell him which tire I want and which coupon I have and what the estimate will be for the 4 tires with buy 2 get 2 free. He says I need the other dealers price in writing. I ask for an estimate, he says he cannot give me an estimate because the other dealer is probably forcing me to buy lifetime alignments and I say they are not, only hazard and install. I tell him the size of the tire and he says I don't even have that in stock and I tell him I don't want to install them today. He refuses to give me an estimate and I tell him Ill just buy the tires elsewhere. REMEMBER WHEN YOU ARE BUYING TIRES IF YOU HAVE A WRITTEN ESTIMATE YOU CAN BRING THAT ESTIMATE TO ANY OTHER DEALER AND THEY WILL BEAT THE WRITTEN PRICE, THEY WANT YOU TO DRIVE AROUND WASTE YOUR TIME AND GAS AND THEY GET THEY WILL SAVE YOU FIVE BUCKS.
