we have had multiple good experiences with this location. our first experience involved needing air in our tire when our pump died and we offered to pay of service but they just helped us out. The second time we went for tires on our sports car. Our original appointment had to be delayed a few days due to a delay in our car being added to pour insurance policy for the summer (can't drive in winter). they were gracious and moved our appointment no problem. They were gracious and even asked me to come back in a few days to check that everything is going well. the building is rough, sure, but it's a tire shop. I don't need a fancy store to buy my tires, I just want good customer service. read more

Keep reading, rat infestation being "treated". Ever since it became a Tire Warehouse (used to be independently owned I believe), the service has gone downhill, but the outside of the build is prettier Employee turner over seems high (typical for a tire store?). Management seems to change based on previous reviews mentioning different manager names. Scary bunch of guys working there, one reminds me of Shaggy from Scooby Doo (dim bulb). Turn around time on jobs is very long. Management parks their cars in 2 of the 4 bays, why? Guy that is allowed to work register has personality of a dead fish. Ok , now about the rat infestation. Seems that above the false ceiling and in roof insulation has been home to many a rat. So much so that the rat feces piled up on false ceiling and was dropping into store. That includes the waiting area! Was asked to wait outside during my cars service (didn't need to be asked twice). Whole ceiling is opened up. No one wearing masks (including guys cleaning/repairing the damage). So just maybe, the long wait, terrible attitudes and service and parking in service bays was due to the current rat epidemic going on there? And who is this Monro Service replying to Tire Warehouse comments? I did see a van in parking lot for them ("enquiring minds want to know"). read more

Made an appointment the day before, which was confirmed, took time to drive there for a swap of winter tires already on rims first thing when they opened . Said they don't go by online booking - waste of time, rude little clowns. Went to Ford dealer around the corner who gladly helped me and agreed that place is a joke. My wife got a flat tire across the street at McDonald's. The manager spent his lunch break, crossed the street and put a spare on for them. She is pregnant and had 2 toddlers in the car. Great family and local customer service. read more

Have been to this store 3 times. Have been treated like crap, lied to, and skipped in line 3 times. This time went in wasted 10 minutes with no one in the customer service area. Another guy comes in stands behind me. Finally the guy comes from out back talking with his buddies and decides he's going to help the guy that just walked in cause it will only take a minute. The guy proceeds to ask numerous questions and the conversation turns personal and they just talk. After 10 more minutes I walked out. That's 1,200-1,500 in new tires that just walked out. Third time I've tried. Will never again. Same skinny dirty manager every time. I'd give a zero if it was an option. read more

I called the night before (to confirm they had my tires because they screwed us the last time, we arrived for our appt to NO TIRES!!), I was put on hold; when Alan came back, he told me there were NO TIRES AGAIN and that he'd have to "call me back"! I will never, EVER order from this business again!! 2 different cars, 2 different appts, arriving to NO tires!! I have been going to tire warehouse for about a year now. I have had them change my tires from regular to snows and back, I have bought new tires from them, I have had tire repairs done by them. They always have the best price. Their customer service is excellent as well, the guys who work there are really sweet and work hard. The online appointment request option doesn't work very well but I don't fault the shop guys for that - just call them for an appointment and they will pick up the phone and get you right in. I work a lot and really appreciate that they are open til 7pm on weekdays and open on Saturdays as well. I couldn't ask for a better local tire shop. read more

Needed to swap out rims. Guys there were extremely helpful with the service I had requested. Helped me carry in the 8 tires I had brought in and again when picking up. They were ready that same day. Price was less than I had expected as well. Definitely going back for all my tire needs! read more

Tried using the Hillsborough location multiple times. Each time, we waited all day after them saying we would get a call when vehicle was done..no call. We tried calling them several times to get out on hold and disconnected each time. We show up at closing and vehicle was done, they were all outside working on their own personal crappy Honda type vehicles. We try another time for a basic tire job and they say that they're backed up a couple days...drive by multiple times, they are out there at their own vehicles screwing around. I would never recommend the Hillsborough location as the assistant manager is one of the rudest men I've encountered. I had a tire blow out that was replaced 30 days ago by this location. I called and spoke to a man named Brian, which I'm confident as I confirmed his name twice, and told him I would be in soon for them to check out the tire. I approached the counter restating my situation and that I had spoke to a man named Brian about what happened. The man at the counter rudely told me I didn't speak to a Brian. I asked who I spoke with he he stated me, Dylan. I asked Dylan if a Brian worked there and he responded he's the manager. After asking to speak with him I was told he's working at an unknown location. I'm never one to request a manager, I simply wanted to speak with the man I originally spoke with on the phone. Now I understand mixing up names, but the fact that I came up with the EXACT name as the manager and was rudely told I'm wrong is quite ironic.......... A few service men took a look at my blown tire and said it was not patchable but they would see what could be done. They felt terrible because the tire was literally brand new. I went back inside, and the service men explained the situation to Dylan. Dylan told me there was nothing he could do as that's the managers job. I asked if he could contact the manager and he told me he wasn't going to pick up without even trying. I pleaded and asked him to at least try and reluctantly he did. He, as in Dylan, was extremely rude and condenscending during our entire interaction. After speaking to another location, I asked Dylan to have the servicemen put my tire back in my car. He rolled his eyes and rudely walked away without acknowledging me in anyway. As an assistant manager, I'd like to think one would have a more friendlier customer service approach, without the fraudulent claims. I was nothing but kind and was NOT looking for a handout. I went to another location, same store, and they were INCREDIBLE. Helped me out as much as they could and were extremely respectful and kind. I told them my interaction with the Hillsborough location and they heard similar stories from other customers. read more

I have been coming to this location for many years long before they were bought out by Tire warehouse. I have been in there twice since the were bought and and will not good back. They are extremely unprofessional and really don't seem to know what they are doing. On one occasion they had rotated my tires but neglected to tell me there was some usually wear meaning I need a front end alignment did not find that out till I brought my car to my mechanic. Also twice I made appointments online through their corporate website no one ever got back to me and confirmed they told me they did not get any email the place is a train wreck stay way read more

My niece brought her car in for snow tires and winter wipers. She needed these to transport her Veteran Husband to his dialysis 3 x a week and also to the VA hospital. When she arrived home she realized that she was missing a key fob for her car! The person who did the work admitted to putting the fob on top of her car. She called and was basically laughed at. Disgusting way of doing business! Tire Warehouse should be paying for another key fob for her!! Makes me sick that Tire Warehouse treats their customers this way! -Predatory business practices- Not only do they not seem to have any inventory in-store, so much so that every not name brand tire wasn't available that day..they also don't like to be transparent about the costs. Eventually I settled on a set they had in-store. When I asked how much they were I was told it would be about $200/tire for the ones I wanted. That would include: the tire, disposal and installation (which is fine) but it wasn't until I received the itemized receipt (after my card was swiped) that I was noticed the guy behind the counter had also included the optional premium insurance on the tires, which was a $123 up-charge. It was never indicated that I was being sold the insurance, I didnt want it, when he gave me the quote he never mentioned it. I plan on contacting the 1800 # on Monday to try and get a refund. I get wanting to keep your sales up, but I'm just another 9-5 worker trying to keep their head up during a pandemic too. Bad business practices and predatory sales tactics. Maybe they could post their prices somewhere so you don't have to rely on someone else reading you the prices? read more

These people were wonderful! Fast, accommodating, easy to get into! Convenient location, walked to Shaw's while work was done. All four tires and brakes replaced. Pricing was very good! Did not slide once after the work was done, and there was a significant blizzard going on. I drive a front wheel drive vehicle, which are bad in the snow and ice. read more

I purchased tires with cash from here over 3 weeks ago and returned them a day later. The manager told me I had get my refund as a check in the mail. After a couple of days of waiting, I called and the manager send it gets mailed on Thursday's. But clearly he had no idea and was just saying anything to shut me up. It has now been over 3 1/2 weeks sense I returned the check. I tried to call him again and he still had no idea what was going on or where my check was. Blaming it on the postal service. So I decided I would call the 800 number and the lady told me it was mailed today...... odd, the manager said Thursday.... clearly this business is not commicating with their corporate office. Very very dissatisfied with this company. Very unprofessional as well. Take days on end to return my phone call. They have the tires back and still my money. read more
