So who wants to wake up and discover their tire is flat? No one. Right. And I honestly DREAD mechanics, but listen y'all--this place is awesome!! I Yelp'ed them first because that's what I do, then after discovering their awesome rating and that they're 10 minutes from the house, I drove over. But first, I called Keith to find out how long the wait would be, and was given a 45-60minute estimate. No big deal-I have four hours until I have to be at work. Sooo, I drive up, and get excited because there's no cars in the bays. WooHoo! The gentlemen at the front desk was super cool, and by that I mean he took my information, and within 15 minutes, he came back to let me know I had an ENTIRE SCREW in my sidewall ‍ that they actually showed me. Personally, I hate the "waiting to find out what's going on" so I loved and appreciated the fact they kept me informed the entire time. $110 dollars, some exceptional customer service, and 60 minutes later, I drive off with a name brand tire cheaper than I've paid ANYWHERE else, and a new favorite auto shop!! read more

Do not buy from this place. I ordered a Kunimoto tire specific to my car and they sent me a similar that looks like a Kunimoto but doesnt say on the sidewall Kunimoto. This makes me believe they are some sort of knock off. I order Kunimoto tires! When I tried to contact them through the contact portal..It doesn't work. When I tried to call and leave a message it doesn't work either. I cant believe I waited a week just to get ripped off! read more

I ended up with a leaky tire on my way to work from Nashville to Murfreesboro and my GPS lead me to this shop. I can honestly say I don't think I've ever been so impressed by the customer service I received. The shop is beautiful inside and the staff are prompt, courteous, and honest. They worked diligently to figure out what was wrong with my tire even when it wasn't immediately obvious. They kept me updated the whole time (which I love; I hate sitting around for awhile wondering what is going on). While it's not convenient location-wise to where I currently live, I could not recommend this location highly enough to anyone in the area. I drive in from Nashville to come here because it's a place I know I can trust. I went in because I had run over a pot hole recently (hey, it happens... please don't judge me). I was worried about the damage to my car. They kept me up to date while I waited so I knew what was going on with my car in detail. This meant a lot to me because I didn't just have to take their word for it, they showed me detailed computer reports and diagnostics, which led me to make an educated decision on what options to choose. The staff is really friendly and compassionate. I felt very taken care of. I called beforehand and when I got there they had everything ready for me so there was no wait time for my car to get worked on. This saved me a lot of time where other places would have told me to come back another day with it being so close to closing hours. The waiting room is comfortable and spacious, and much like a decorated living room with a large flat screen tv and hotel lobby like amenities. A work station for a laptop computer, coffee, and you get to watch Ellen if you plan your visit at the right time of the day. I've seen places where you had to sit in waiting rooms where you can see the staff through a window waisting time and joking around with each other in the garage while they come up with crazy things to charge you for. In the meantime your getting sick from the smell of exhaust and you're praying that they will finish soon because you will do anything to avoid using the bathroom. If you are nodding because you know what I'm talking about, this place will seem like a beautiful island oasis compared to that. You can even kick back and treat yourself to a drawing session with your kids if you have them, because they have all the supplies. (For kids of all ages of course). One thing that blew me away was how much they went out of their way to save me from any extra charges by fixing things when they could without having to charge me to replace the part. My experience here was not great. First they are not welcoming when you come in. Not even a hello. After checking in for my 4pm installation appointment I sat in the waiting room 30 mins before they realized they didn't have my tires in yet and it would be another 3 days. A call to reschedule before I had driven there would have been ideal. I'd suggest Discount Tire on Sam Ridley instead since they are who I called from the TW parking lot. They agreed to beat their price, had them ordered, called me the next morning to confirm the tires had arrived, then installed by 10 am. They get the job done and greet you as soon as you walk in the door. read more

I am in shock as to how I was treated this time. I have done A TON of business with Tire World- LaVergne for over 20 years and based on previous experiences, could never have dreamed of this experience. I called last week to let them know of the issue I was having (check engine light on, code p0016), and asked if I could set an appointment to bring it in. I was told I couldn't set an appointment but just show up at 7:00am when they open and they would get to it and depending on the issue, it should take half a day. So, I arrived at 6:50am yesterday and was second in line to check in. My wife picked me up after check in. At around 5:00pm (closing time), I realized I had not heard a word from them about the vehicle. Decided to drive down there to see if they might still be open. When I pulled in, I realized my vehicle had not moved from the spot I parked in that morning. The door was locked and no one around. Tried calling to see if someone would answer. This is inexcusable! To not call me at the end of the day and let me know they were too busy to even look at my car is very unprofessional and inappropriate. I came back home, got my spare key and my wife and I went and picked it up and brought it back home. Still this morning, no one called. Drove down there this morning to retrieve the key they had. Asked to speak to a manager and was told he was one of them. I think his name is Keith and he was the guy who checked me in yesterday. Explained my dismay and asked for my key back. He apologized and said they were 2 days behind but had no answer when I asked why he didn't tell me that yesterday? Have never experienced such neglect from a place I've spent thousands of dollars at over the years. So unfortunate as we had built a trust with them but I'm sad to say, we can't continue doing business there anymore. read more

A bill of almost $800.00 for repairs due to check engine light being on. Diagnostic testing was performed and were told of the possible causes. Still, the check engine light is on. Well, an additional $400.00 or more needed. Then we are told there is nothing more they can do and refuse to perform any more work on vehicle. We were visiting from Chicago for NYE. On 12/31, we noticed our rear passenger tire was flat and called a couple of places trying to get it fixed so that we could head home the next day. We were getting frustrated as a number of establishments were not interested in fixing our tire as they were getting ready to close for the weekend. Fortunately, Joey said he would see us, even though they were closing in 20 mins. I told him we would hurry, and his reply was, 'take your time and drive carefully'. They were able to fix the tire without replacing it & Joey spent a lot of time giving us a run down of what to do while we were in Nashville. They were super friendly, very quick in fixing our tire & were amazingly generous with their price. How thankful were we? $53 worth of Nashville's best donuts were delivered Monday morning - we decided to stay an extra day to show them our gratitude. Came in for a tire plug only and ended up paying $100 more for a new tire. Not sure if it was an up-sale ploy to get more money but I didn't like that. Why is it when I go to the smaller places they always find some reason to want you to pay more money. The guy made me feel so insecure about driving on the tire, I felt I had to go ahead and replace it. The tire price he quoted was the normal average price for that size so at least that was honest of him. Pros: Place is nice looking inside Seemed professional Cons: Didn't like the up-sale tactic Took longer than expected (was one of the first ones there in the morning) Overall my experience was ok until the up-sale started. Part of me feels I was taken advantage of because of my lack of knowledge of tire repair. I recommend to people in this situation to make sure you have knowledge of your issue before taking it to these types of places. read more

On Saturday mornings there is a line out the door at this place. When they open the doors they have several staff checking in customers for service at once to make it go faster. There are always customers who are in a hurry and hoping to get in/out quickly. The Tire World staff is so kind and patient with each customer in the midst of the weekend rush! Their waiting area is very clean and nice, stocked with water & coffee for your wait. This morning a staff member even brought around fresh donuts to all of us in the waiting room. They always take good care of my vehicles and I never feel like they try and have me complete work that I'm not ready or able to complete yet. La Vernge's WORST service ever! After speaking with a service writer, telling her what I needed done and scheduling an appointment yesterday, I go in this morning just to find I will STILL have to wait 2-3 hours and have their diagnostic done for $69. I reluctantly agree, I mean "I" already know what is wrong I just don't have the tools or experience to fix it. Guy on You-Tube done in 20 minutes! Over 2 hrs pass and they bring me the "diagnostic" report. "Yes, I KNEW that...Yes please fix it and also please replace the oil sending sensor". 1 hr later he returns with the price for THAT. After 5 1/2 hrs THEY still had not begun ANY "service" work. Told me another 2-3 hours. "We had other cars he was working on..." Well that's funny because I was the ONLY one sitting in their "nice, comfortable" waiting area for THAT long with only a small complimentary water and nothing to eat all day. "Did your tech take a lunch break?" I asked. "Well, yes he did" was the reply. "That's great. Y'all leave me sitting here, uninformed, uncomfortable, and unhappy while y'all piddle, eat, and have your afternoon siesta!!! Just bring me my damn car! NOW!" Funny how fast they got it back together and around front...they hadn't loosened ONE bolt! NO. I didn't pay the diag fee and NO I will not return. I didn't think I was talking that loud . To tell the truth they were talking louder than me. So I give one star they need to improve on their manners and not talk to customers that way.
