I took my vehicle in to get two new tires on a Saturday and was told they would have the tires Monday morning. I bring my car back Monday morning for them to tell me they don't have the tires and told me they would arrive by noon and they would call me when they come in. 2pm rolls by and I call them and they told me the tires are in, but they never called me like they said they would. It took them almost three hours to swap out the tires and check my alignment. I paid and left and made it 100 feet down the road before realizing my alignment is so far off I have to turn my wheel a few inches to the right just to have my car travel straight. If I could I would give them 0 stars! Got a price on tires for wife's car. When she dropped off car they called her and told her car need a alignment ( the car just came back from a Cadillac dealership where oil was changed and car was inspected ) so she had an alignment done done. They then stripped all but one bolt on center cap. And left one bolt in to hold center cap on. So we paid for an alignment which car didn't need and now I have to fix center cap where the drilled out bolts. They take advantage of women knowing they don't know about cars and sell you shit you don't need!!! Stay away from this place at especially if your female or you don't know about cars read more

Customer service skills are apparently not taught, nor valued at Tireman (Fremont,Ohio). Management is habitually rude to the point I'd like to never have to come back. I'm the past ten years I've had roughly 20 individual services done. Of those 20 I'd say roughly 3 were done successfully the first time. most recently I had to take a vehicle back in three times to have one alignment completed correctly. The best part was I arrived at an appt that I had scheduled and there was no mechanic that was able to do my work. so I had to drive 1:00 round trip and spend $20 in gas to get absolutely nothing done. read more

I'm posting this review as a helpful review for you to know my experience. I dropped off my Saturn Vue at tireman in February of 2011, to have them repair a job on my vehicle which included replacing the upper valve gasket.. I dropped it off Monday and I didn't get it back till Saturday. I was to polite by telling them to take their time, because I wanted the job done right and not fast and sloppy. So of course they took advantage of my hospitality. When I picked it up, I honestly was well pleased. As a few months went by I noticed it dripping oil again?!?! So I took it in and they seen where they 'so called master mechanic' slipped the gasket in. Which. To me made me think he slapped it together quickly and not correctly. So they replaced it and also put rtv sealant on it. Well another few months go by again and it started to leak again??!!?!!! So being fed up, I emailed corporate and told him. He called me 2 days later and asked me if I would drop it off in Perrysburg, so I agreed and they also gave me a rental free of charge. So Perrysburg replaced everything and did it correctly. Perrysburg said that they tried to reuse the same gasket and your not supposed to do that. Once you use a gasket that's it, it's not reusable. Of course they tried to deny it and say they did everything by the book. The book my eye!! If you love you vehicle like me. Never ever bring your vehicle here. read more

From my understanding, most of their work specializes in light mechanical (i.e. oil changes, changing spark plugs/belts) and work on tires (i.e. rotating, patching holes, balancing). I've had my car in there 2 times for an oil change and once for a belt replacement on my Hyundai since I've lived in the area (not long). The very first time I went for an oil change/tire rotation, they said that the lug nut on a tire would not come off...that they needed to remove the bolt however they could and replace it for $29. So immediately I felt trapped. They didn't offer for me to see it for myself or anything, but the price on "their" lugnuts was around $69 (?!). So they said they could help me on the price of that. Whatever. Do what you have to do, I guess. Second time, I came in for an oil change right after something starting whining around my alternator/belts. I requested that if they see an issue while under my car, please let me know. No one said anything about the whine other than I needed new belts (which was true). So I arranged a belt replacement service and requested again to find out more about the whine, twice. Nothing was said to me about the whine when I went in to pay and no notes were left by any mechanic there for the front desk. It's situations like this that make me wonder if I'm just being given a run around or not. They do keep the car running as it's supposed to, but not without sharing caveats of things to come down the road with the car. My biggest issue so far is how they break the news to you in the middle of the waiting area where other people have to share in the moment where you get hit with the bad news about your car and how much stuff costs. I think that's just bad taste. A doctor knows not to walk into the waiting room and deliver horrible news to you in front of others; why can't you have a system that gets people to come up to the front desk and go over the options there? It's easy-to-get-to service and a professional team that work in this location, but changes in practices and giving customers options/info is the name of the mechanic's game (at least it should be). They seemed very nice and helpful until they told me a I need a alignment and to reset my system on my dashboard. I thought this was strange so I took it to my dealership where I bought the car. They told me nothing was wrong with the alignment at all and I didn't need to reset anything. Apparently you can't be a young women without trying to be swindled. The Tireman team was fantastic this past week. My car broke down on the turnpike the day before Thanksgiving. They took me in and got me turned around very quickly so I didn't lose any time over the holiday, after I'd been turned away by at least a half dozen other places in town. Had an appointment for noon. Was told it would be done in 2 hours. At 2pm my care was still in same spot in the parking lot. Asked for my keys back. I had a professional discussion about customer service and making appointments then no follow through. Response was, I can try to set you up with another appointment. There was one couple who dropped their car off at 10am to have a tire fixed due to a screw in it. They came back at 12:30, nothing was done. Their car was taken in at 1:30. A young lady had been there from 11:30 with an appointment for tires and was still waiting at 2pm when I left. Very disappointing experience. Took 2 hours of vacation time for the appointment. read more

This is the 4th time I'm sitting here waiting on them to fix my brakes. I waited 4hrs the first time and this time my car was suppose to be done. When I left the first time my brakes would no disengage and would start to engage when getting to highway speeds. The customer service is fine but the guys working on the vehicles should not be doing this kind of work. I do not recommend this place to anyone and ask you to look else where for services read more

I would totally give this zero stars if that was an option. This week I traveled from Michigan to Ohio to be with my sister during surgery. When I arrived to the town of my destination my tire pressure light came on, and my tire sensors on the dashboard said my front left tire had 12 PSI. I thought it was strange that the tire was not flat, but took it to Tireman on my way out of town. I dropped the car off and told them about the PSI reading, then my family walked to a restaurant. We returned about an hour later and the car was finished. At this time, I asked what the problem was. The clerk yelled into the garage and someone yelled back, "Nail." The next day my tire sensor said it was at 5 PSI, but it looked fine. Again. I went to a gas station with a tire gauge and checked all my tires. They were fine, but the one they 'repaired' was at over 80 PSI. I drove home from Ohio on that tire, with my family in the car. On the expressway. It could have blown and we could have been killed. Avoid this business. It might save your life. read more
