What can I say...Tires by Stan was the last place I stopped at after looking for tires for about 2 hours. Stan's worker showed me quite a few tires that looked exceptionally good for being used. I noticed a thick silver nail on my rear driver side tire . I went to a tire shop by my job in Sherman oaks since i thought it was going to just be a simple patch and go . Once I arrived The gentleman informed me that the nail was to close to the edge and didn't want to have any liability for a patch and referred me to a different shop up the street from his location and have them look at it . So once I get there the service manager took a look at my tire and without hesitation told me I needed a new tire and I was looking at $410 since they are Goodyear eagle f1 runflat tires . I did my research and found the same tires for $250 on the Goodyear website, SAME EXACT ONES !!! So on my drive home I decided to yelp tire shops and find the best deal on new tires. Here's where Stan comes into play . I called his shop w/o mentioning I have gone to other businesses, but I did tell him the nail was to close to the edge . He told me to bring the car in for a quick inspection. Surely enough he said it was close to the edge but it was still in enough on the thread that a patch would "seal the deal". Oh and not to mention $390 he saved me. Basically the whole point of my review is , while other businesses were afraid to take liability , and others were just trying to make a few hundred bucks, Stan really does know his profession, and his honesty to the customer is what gained him a new one in me and a whole lot new referrals when people ask. read more

I woke up to a low tire today and after inflating it, I took it to be checked out at the local Just Tires. They said they couldn't patch it but offered me two tires for $493.00. That was after they didn't take the tire off my car, and as a former fleet manager and car salesman, I've seen it all. I went to Stan a few times and there were some decent people. Though on one occasion I went in for tires and the next day it was flat. Now...I've only gone here for all my tires. Imagine my surprise when a completely different guy there a week later told me someone had used fix-a-flat and the rim had to be patched up. He fixed the issue...but not everyone at Stan's is looking out for your best interest. So...it's a crapshoot. For the price, you are gambling. Stan himself is a cool dude, but his employees need to know that they represent him in skill and professionalism. I've lost confidence in them. read more

This place was not bad for cheap tires. We got 4 tires and an alignment for a good price. The man putting the tires on needs to be a little more gentle though... the put the old school waits on with a hammer, didn't torque the wheels down, etc. there alignment made my car even worse. All they did was drive the car onto the track, make sure the fronts were green, and that's it..the back right wheel was red so the car pulls right now...they even had a guy there test drive it around the block and he lied and said it's good to go. ive spent literally $100 on tires here in the short span of about a month. and you would think " Oh for some used tires? thats not bad!" Well that money was spent on one back tire....3 times... first time was just blown out. the second one of them being only on for three days before blowing out. The third time, they changed it out and "gave me a deal" and only charged me 20 bucks, but that was because the owner wasnt there and saw the guy who changed it pocket the money. Now you guessed the tire has BLOWN AGAIN. Showed my friend who is a mechanic and showed me how the tire has been re-treaded! WHICH IS SO DANGEROUS! ESPECIALLY BECAUSE IT WAS RAINING WHEN IT BLEW OUT ON THE FREEWAT! im honestly sad because they were so nice, but i guess when you have a customer coming in for a product that your selling as a good when it really isnt, youd be nice too.
