I took it somewhere else they put air in it and said it was fine. A week later still fine. They checked my oil said it was low so they tried to sell me an oil change Had it changed already not even 3000 miles since.The point I'm making is don't sell me something I don't need. I am writing regarding my 2013 Ford F-150 Truck. I initially brought it in for a valve cover gasket replacement around April 29, 2024. Since then, I have had to return it three times for the same issue. Each time, the service team acknowledged the leakage. I paid $1610.14 for the first visit. For the subsequent two visits, they agreed to replace the defective parts again at no additional cost. The last time I picked up the truck, I drove it home and parked it. On July 9th, when I drove it again, it initially ran fine but then started acting up. The "add engine oil" light came on, and the vehicle stalled. I had it towed home and noticed a puddle of oil where it had been parked. I did not check for leaks before driving because I was assured the issue was fixed. I called Tire Plus and spoke with Jason, the supervisor. He claimed it wasn't their fault that the vehicle was in such a condition. I explained that they were the only ones who had worked on the vehicle. After some discussion, he agreed to have it towed to the local Ford dealership, where it has been since around July 11th. The service representative handling my case has since left, and the matter has been reassigned. I have made several attempts to resolve this issue and have been patient throughout the process. I just want my vehicle to run as it did before the initial repair. I have spoken to the area representative, Andrew, once and the regional representative, Bruce, twice. Both assured me they would look into it, but I have not received any follow-up calls. I've been trying for 10 days to speak with someone in charge. I have placed three calls to customer service and been promised three times someone would call. I have yet to receive that call. Why must a 20-year customer continue to request something as simple as a phone call? 600 dollars for parts 1400 for labor. And have a skip when we picked it up. Even tho there was no skip when we dropped it off. And we are told we need to change spark plugs and wires for another 600 some dollars because of initial issue. Ummm no. I'm so tired of being ripped off by tiresplus. This is ridiculous. I understand being paid labor but 1400? And we have an account with yall. Everytime we take our vehicles in...we get calls about replacing things that don't need replacing. Like an ac compressor on my car. It was changed just months before getting a call saying this. How does a place like this stay open. Half the workers don't know crap. After receiving the call about my ac compressor...I refused and brought my car home and fixed the issue myself by replacing the rubber ring on my ac line that needed replacing only. Which i had told them was the problem to begin with. But that told me how they do their customers at that moment. Because they are only trying to get as much money as possible from people. Some people know what the real problem is but doesnt have time to actually do the work. But i made time that day. And im a female. So maybe i should open my own business. Appointments are meaningless. If you have a day to waste then this is your place. Prepare to add an hour to your appointment before they even take your care into the garage. Then the real waiting games begin. Single tire replacement, hour and half after going into the garage. I presented to Tire's Plus on 10/30 for a courtesy battery check because my vehicle would stutter before starting. Stacy provided me with battery check and I was informed it was it at 97% and was not the reason for the stutter start on my vehicle. Due to my battery being good I was informed that I possibly needed a new starter or alternator but that this determination required a vehicle inspection. I returned my vehicle to this location on 11/1 and since it was late in the day told a vehicle inspection would be started on 11/02 to determine the cause of the stutter start. On 11/02 I received a call at 10:57 AM from Stacy informing me that the battery and starter were not the problem and that I needed a new alternator along with some other recommended maintenance. I agreed to having a new alternator and oil change completed. I was called at 4:02 PM and told by Stacy that my existing battery was dead and that I needed a new one and she needed me to authorize the maintenance. I questioned as to how a battery that was checked multiple times prior to was now dead within such a sort span of time. Stacy was unable to provide a clear answer. She eluded to my alternator killing my battery but the battery was at 97% per her check and deemed serviceable . I continued to question how my battery was now dead when this was never an issue prior to the new alternator. Stacy was not able to explain how my battery was now dead within a few hours. I was then forced to purchase a new battery in order for my car to be serviceable. Upon picking up my vehicle I asked for an itemized list of maintenance. I was charged $49.99 for a standard oil change and had to request a coupon be applied so that the oil change was reduced to $32.98. I do believe that my car battery was left not charging while maintenance was conducted and that this location is at fault for my battery going dead. In total I spent over $1100 for an oil change, new alternator, new battery, and vehicle inspection. After further review this location has a current F rating on the Better Business Bureau. I made an appointment for an oil change for Friday at noon earlier in the week. Tires Plus used to have a 30-minute oil change guarantee with appointment. I didn't inquire to this but still hoped I would get out of there in around 30 minutes as I informed the front desk I would be waiting on my vehicle. Arrived a few minutes early and got checked in. It wasn't too busy with maybe two other customers wandering around and plenty of employees in the shop bays. After 10 minutes my vehicle was pulled into a bay and I thought this might turn out okay. At the front desk Manager Guy never looked up from his phone as he played a desperate game of Mobile Strike. Throughout my stay in the customer waiting area I could see Manager Guy through the large picture window in his reclining chair as he struggled to defeat his persistent enemies in that addictive phone app game. After 30 minutes I looked into the shop area and my vehicle was on the lift and the oil might've been changed, I'm not sure. Manager Guy was engrossed in his mobile app contest of wills. A Front Desk Worker was there now, too, but he was absorbed in his own cellphone antics and couldn't look up from the counter to see me walking around wondering if my vehicle was ready. Finally, after I walked outside and peered through the closed bay doors to see if anyone was working on my vehicle I spotted an employee inspecting the under carriage and taking notes. I went back inside on a hopeful note. Now, at the 45-minute mark, Manager Guy sprung out of his seat to go check and find out what was really going on. After several trips in and out of the shop area, Manager Guy fully assessed the situation and informed me he could now charge me for the service to the vehicle. But at the same time, Manager Guy took several phone calls, and even rang up another customer, as I waited at the counter for the total bill. The other Front Desk Worker oddly could do none of these things; I assumed his skills lay elsewhere In the end I spent an hour at Tires Plus waiting on my oil change. For the price and time invested I should have went to a Jiffy Lube which would've cost a few dollars more but be done in 20 minutes or less. I know from previous visits to Tires Plus when I've bought tires for my vehicle and my wife's vehicle (as well as routine oil changes) things used to be quicker. But I guess customer service isn't what it used to be. read more

I had an appt on Jun 13 2021 to have my front brakes changed and an oil change. I came in on time and was told they would get me in when they could. I would be waiting on my vehicle. After 2 hours my vehicle still hadn't been brought in and I asked how much longer would it be. I was told it would be at least another 45 min to an hour or maybe longer before they could bring it in to start working on it. I asked to reschedule for another day. The new date was June 18th at 4:00 pm. I came in on time and they registered me and took my keys and my tire lock. 25 min later they told me that they could only do the oil change but not the brake because the tech that could do my brakes got off at 4:00 pm. The same time as the appt they gave me. I was upset because I had to take time off work for this appt. and the rep told me I could come back on Monday which meant I'd have to take off again. ‍. His manner wasn't customer friendly at all and I asked him to just stop and let me speak to the manager. He went into the bay and shouted loud enough for everyone in the bay and the store to hear the conversation with the manager about the situation and just what did I want him to do. I was mortified and embarrassed while everyone stared. He came back and told me to give him my keys that the manager said the tech would do it. By that time I just asked for my keys back and still requested to see the manager. He said the manager was busy doing other things. By that time tears popped because I was angry and embarrassed. I politely told the guy the manner in which he handled the situation was unprofessional and uncalled for. He apologized and my brakes are being fixed. I don't think COVID has to do with this. You are an automotive shop and telling me you close at 6 and shoving me out the door with your tone of voice is ridiculous. And as a shop, not able to fill a transmission with fluid is very unacceptable. You should put on your sign ONLY tires and brakes. No to pour fluid through a funnel is utterly ridiculous. I know this because I had an automotive shop and I know the capabilities. I just don't have the tools to fill a transmission, a funnel to fill it. I brought my car into this location to repair a nail in the tire and get an oil change. They had no appts available so I arrived at 8:30 as a walk in. It ended up they could not repair tire because of the placement of the nail. I opted to get 2 new tires because it is always better to get two tires instead of one. Out of 3 possible tires to purchase, I was told only to most expensive tire was in stock and that the others would need to be ordered. I opted to buy the one in stock because I was already there and I didn't want to drive around with a bad tire. It took an hour and a half for them to take my car into the shop area. Then it was revealed they in fact did not have the tire and stock and instead had to have tires delivered from Napa auto parts. In all I was at the location over 3 hours and paid 700 dollars. I've only rated them 3-stars since the service was merely to check something out. I have slight 'grinding' sounds under braking which would normally lead one to believe worn pads. My pads are in great shave with only slight grooving on my rotors. There's also pulsating at higher speeds when not breaking which tell me worn tires or other unsavory suspension problems. I had Tires Plus at this location check the concerns out and received a call an hour later that my rotors are warped but my pads are fine. This slight warping could cause the grinding/skipping sounds while braking. They claim the pulsating is due to 'cupping' on my tires. That is a common problem with tires. The disconcerting thing is the tires are 1 yr old though have about 15k on them. I suspect they should last longer. The staff was courteous. The wait was acceptable. I will consider taking my car to them to replace the rotors/tires in the near future. They are open from 7a-7p which is a great convenience as well. read more

Bought my car here to get serviced before I went on a trip. Paid the extra to have a tire rotation and an overall check and I also have the lifetime alignment. I made mention that my oil light had been coming on as well so they cud check that. I've gotten my last 5 oil changes done at Tires Plus but not this one. Paid and picked my car up. No tire rotation was done(realized that the next day when I was getting a bad tire replaced and it was in the same spot it was the day before), no alignment was done.( Had my coworker check it on our alignment machine. He showed me before and after specs and you could tell nothing was done.) Found out that there was probably not an oil change done. 1 month later I check my oil level and there is absolutely nothing on the dip stick. I had to add 4qts of oil to my car. My thing is this, I'm paying you for a service because I want to maintain the quality of my vehicle. You are supposed to be the pros and I don't get the service I'm paying for. If I can't trust you to do what I'm paying for then why do you exist. I'm probably going to learn to change my own oil and other maintenance stuff so I know that its done. Oh, and when I called the next day to let them know my tires weren't rotated, she said "OK, you can come back by and we'll rotate them." Why wasn't it done while the vehicle was there. I had a terrible experience with the Tires Plus on Peach Orchard rd, the manager at that location decided that my wife was stupid and rich, and rather than honoring an internet appointment and quote, lied about not having the tires quoted, refused to sell her tires that cost less (claimed that they weren't good tires and it would be unsafe to drive on them), and tried to convince her to spend twice as much, it didn't happen, I called the store on Robert C. Daniel, and they confirmed that they had the tires, that they would honor the quote, and that they could get the tires and alignment done in a reasonable time. She drove across town, and true to their word they honored the quote, got the car in and went to work, taking no more time than what you would expect it to take. She was very happy with the professionalism and respect they showed her. read more

I set an appointment online and was called to be told the appointment time was not available so don't count on that time being a possibility as I heard them call others to reschedule times set online while I was there. They have a guarantee of new tires scheduled online should take 59 minutes or you get $59 and an oil change for free. My TWO tires took an hour and 40 minutes. I received the $59 after speaking to the manager but not an oil change: not sure I would have wanted it anyway due to how long it took and the individuals I talked to that spoke down to me and acted as if my wait was nothing. They told me I needed engine air filter, cabin air filter (both costing more than the original dealership prices: and I had just taken my car to the dealership one week previously for an oil change and they told me I needed one but not the other that was more expensive) as well as an alignment. After the alignment, and having them move the tires they just put on since they put them opposite of what front wheel drive should be put, I had been there over 2 and a half hours. The manager was nice after realizing I had scheduled an online appointment but I was very underwhelmed with his staff. I cancelled my boyfriend's alignment appointment for that afternoon because we were not going to have hours to wait on it and I refused to deal with those individuals again. I'll never use them again! Oh and prepare yourself for your email address being filled with spam advertising emails. Brought my car in here because I heard the deals were great....Which they are. My only issue is that I had to bring the car back to get it realigned because my steering wheel was crooked after they got done and I didn't notice until I got half way home. The same thing happened with my girlfriends Jeep. I'm sitting up here now. The service is good and the workers are polite as well. No issues there...I just hate the hassle of having to bring our vehicles all the way back here to Augusta from Washington...That is not a short drive at all. On Saturday October 13th at 7:00AM, I took my 2015 Chevy Malibu to the Tires Plus store located at 271 ROBERT C DANIEL JR PKWY AUGUSTA, GA 30909-0808 and asked to get my brakes check and I noticed the service is free; Andy was the manager on duty and the person to check me in. I left my keys and I proceeded to go to work. At 1:54PM, I received a call from the store and someone said they couldn???t locate my wheel lock key and I advised them to check the trunk, I got a call back at 2:01PM and they still couldn???t locate the key, so I said, ok??? I will call you guys back and let you know if I find it, so I drove home to see if I had it and I didn???t. The last shop to touch my car was Tires Plus on Thursday October 13th where they performed a tire rotation and I never got my key back from the Sales advisor (I have now reordered a replacement key and I feel Tires Plus dropped the ball and didn???t give me my wheel lock key back). So I called the store back at 2:47PM and spoke with someone for 8 minutes and 42 seconds and I advised them to go ahead and remove the wheel locks because I really need to get my brakes checked. Keep in mind, my car has been there since 7AM. I got off of work around 4PM and go back to Tires Plus to see what the progress is on my vehicle. I get there and my car was up on the lift but my tires and wheel locks were still on the vehicle. So I asked the guy what???s the problem and he tells that I never called back and I told him I did. I asked to speak with the manager and the advisor said that he was working on a vehicle but my car had been there since 7AM, so they goes back to the manager and he???s talking to him and I see him through the window, the advisor comes back to me and says that the manager said I never called back to say what to do and I told him that was a lie, I talked to someone and advised them to go ahead and do the work. So the guy goes back and talk to the manager again (the manager didn???t want to handle the situation as a manager)???. The advisor came back and showed me a piece of paper showing the measurements of my brake pads and I said how you can check my brakes effectively if you didn???t take my wheels off. So the advisor said that if he had to stay over to do the brakes, then he would, so at one point I told him to go ahead again and do the work. I then changed my mind and went back to the counter to advised them of my decision to decline the work but no one was at the counter. I noticed the manager Andy kept looking through the window and never came out to acknowledge me or my request. A new customer enters the store and she standing there talking on her phone, waiting for someone to come to the counter and nothing. A third customer came in the store and still no one came up front. The manager Andy was still walking back and forth and not coming to the front. The Manager Andy eventually came out and walked right passed me and went to the customer on the phone and asked her how could he help her and I said, ???Excuse me but I was standing here before her??? and the customer agreed with me. I told him he was very rude for doing that and I told him that I wanted my car dropped and my keys. I asked the advisor for the corporate number and who was the manager, I asked the manager what was his name. The advisor gave me a card and I left the store. The advisor was way more professional than the manager of this store. As a customer, no matter how much money I spend, I should be treated with respect and dignity. I told the advisor that was talking to me that, he shouldn???t have to deal with customer complaints but the manager should of and it wasn???t fair to him to feel my anger and disappointment in that store. read more

Got a screw in tire while visiting out of town. Staff was friendly and professional. Told me screw was too close to sidewall to patch. Would cost over $300 for new tire and labor. The Robert C. Daniel location is the WORST experience I have ever had! I took my car in for a brake alignment and when I left (after only 22 minutes of 'aligning' the car - which alignments for my specific vehicle should take much longer), it had a hard pull to the left. I took it back a second time (under warranty) and the man at the desk was extremely rude, condescending (treated me like I didn't have a brain in my head because I'm a female), and insulting. I sat at the window and watched him work on my car and he ran a alignment test then took some kind of long flat steel pole and shoved it down the side of my car near the left tire a few times, ran another alignment test and came in and told me that there was 'no problem' with the alignment because everything was registering within acceptable limits even though the numbers were very different between the left and right side. I left again and this time the pull was even worse and now there is vibration in the steering wheel which had not been there before. I am taking it today to a different tires plus that my mechanic referred me to and I am hoping they can fix it. DO NOT trust the Tires Plus on Robert C. Daniel - especially if you are a female because they will treat you disrepectfully and like you are too stupid to know anything about cars. read more

Tires plus is very slow, they told me it would take about 1 1/2 hrs to change my tire and it has been almost two hrs and my car is still in the parking long. I don't know which is slower, then or their WiFi. This will be my last time there. So after sitting here for two hrs and being told I was second in line and watching several cars move ahead of me I asked why is it taking this long, the guy at the rest tells me appointments get to go ahead of me. Why didn't he tell me this before instead of wasting my time. I feel as if I wasn't given enough information to make an informed decision. I could have left and returned at a later time. They're very inefficient. They had my car 24 hours to do a 2 hour job. They lie constantly about the progress of the work and readiness of vehicle. I've never had an issue until lately and now it's one thing after another every time I go. They take in more work than they can handle. They should definitely stick to what they can handle and downgrade on the "services" they offer. read more

I had my car towed here because it was the closest place from where my car broke down. I asked for an estimate on the parts of my vehicle that needed to be replaced, and after I realized they were significantly over retail (that I could get at a local parts store, like Auto Zone), I asked if they price match or would discount the price, I was told no. I told them I would have to make other arrangements because I could not afford this price. I called a friend that is a mechanic about attempting to jumping my car off or replacing the battery in order to get it running long enough to get it to his house. The serviceman John apparently overheard me and after I ended the conversation, told me "you can't work on your car in the parking lot, by the way." I was like...what?? I went to dinner and about an hour later, when I opened up the hood to take a look AFTER the business was closed, an employee walked out and told me that I could not work on my car at this time -- they literally wanted me to tow my car out of the parking lot to look at the battery...If I would have known better, I would have told them to go ahead and the call the police...but I ended up backing off. Now I clearly see they were trying to force me into using their services...and I'm telling everyone who will lend an ear how terrible this service is! read more
