This place ripped my son off on a car repair! He needed a starter and they put one in that cost almost 3 times what it should have! I went in on his behalf to question it. They told me the part cost them $130 but they had to charge him $289! Told me they had to make a profit, but that's highway robbery. Unbelievably bad. The incompetence is rampant from the front desk attitude to at least one guy taking care of the vehicles (attitude). Came in for a simple patch. Guy at desk says no problem. He checks out wheel in question. We proceed. He says have a seat it will be a little while. I did not have an appointment so okay. One hour and 50 min later someone finally gets vehicle into the garage. About 15 min later someone comes out of garage and says you need new tires. What!? I have been here for two hours. And now you tell me you can't patch at that tire depth. Two hours later. Comical. How about the guy that first looked at the tire? Sir the tread looks a little low and we will not be able to patch. The maintenance professional who worked on my tire two weeks ago never returned the unique tire key tool that enables one to remove a flat tire. Well today I got a flat tire. The auto shop I stopped at and Porsche roadside assistance were helpless without the tire key. Had to get towed to the Porsche dealership. So now I'm stranded an hour from my house at the dealership having to buy new car parts due to the errors made by Tires Plus. I asked to be refunded for the services from two weeks ago because now I'm going to have to pay for a towing fee, a $100 Uber, aftercare school fees and panic for my 6 year old who is now stranded bc this business never returned all of the proper tools to my vehicle, and replacement tires for non matching tires from Tires Plus that should never have been sold to me. Have to get a whole new tire key made. Won't have my car back until it is. My husband had to leave work to go pick up our kid an hour from his office. The Tires Plus manager on the phone refused to refund for services after explaining this horrible situation. Literally a disaster because of an irresponsible car technician not returning parts and an indifferent sales manager who clearly doesn't care about customers returning. I WAS a returning customer, but I won't be anymore. People seek repair services to make their lives easier, not to be put into extremely difficult situations. Don't go here! I will be calling customer service for my tire plus credit card charge from 2 weeks ago to be refunded and I will be filing a huge complaint to corporate to report this location for malpractice. Don't misplace car parts and give customers tires that aren't meant for their specific vehicle and be jerks after the fact. The manager truly has no soul and no care in the world how his team performs. Refused to admit they were in the wrong. Porsche explained to me that the tire that Tires Plus put on my car 2 weeks ago doesn't match the rest and it burns out the car having non matching wheels. They said this is basic information any car maintenance technician would have definitely already known. Tires Plus knew that I knew nothing about cars and took advantage and I'm the one left to pay for new parts and tires and all the costs that went with getting from point a to point b with this disaster. Greg and his team are AWESOME! They service all 6 of my current cars and have ALWAYS exhibited first class customer service. On a recent visit, I needed over $4,800 of repairs to replace my rear axle assembly. Brandon and Josh were great in coordinating the repairs and keeping me informed of my vehicle's status - Brandon work with the technicians, documented the issues and repairs needed, took pictures and got on the phone with my extended warranty company to secure coverage. Brandon was able to get an additional $1,600 of reimbursement for me on these repairs -- simply OUTSTANDING!!! And the technicians at this location (Chris, Steven, Sean and team) are top notch in both their diagnostic skills as well as their repairs. For this most recent repair, Chris even came in on his day off to supervise the rear axle installation and ensure it was performed to his standards and delivering my car 1 day earlier than promised!!! Another example of the great customer service I have experienced at this facility over the past 20+ years. I love dealing with the guys here. It's a painless process with them. I've brought every problem under the sun to them and they've always fixed my issues at a fair and competitive price. They never push me on BS sales like new windshield wipers and junk like that. Last year we heard meowing coming from under the hood of my dads Lincoln. After a day of trying to get a baby kitten out to no avail, we brought the car to Tires Plus. The guys spent a good bit of time taking apart the car to get the trapped kitten out. Late on a Saturday, Josh a sales associate was able to fit my emergency car in for repairs. I noticed after he did, he was turning away everybody else. This place stays very busy and closes at 5;00. I was here last Friday (Or the one before? I can't remember now!) to pick up a new tire since one of my existing ones was on its way out. My mother suggested that I check this place out, and it wasn't difficult for me to go along with that, especially after my less-than-satisfactory experience at Tire Kingdom in Longwood earlier this year. (See my review.) Upon arriving at the shop, the employee I talked with showed me a thorough selection of the tires available for my vehicle. I decided upon an affordable one, and he concurred that I was making a strong choice. The tire was ready within only a few minutes, which was a pleasant surprise since the shop appeared to be quite busy and since I didn't really have an appointment or anything. My mother went here the next day (after I was here) to have all of the tires on her car replaced. It sounds like this is our family's new car-care place. They've done a great job so far and I'm expecting more of the same if/when we have to return. read more

Went in for a lifetime tire rotation and balance. That turned into a disaster with the manager screaming at me after his worker stripped the lug nuts on the car and expected me to pay for their screw up. He admitted to having trouble removing the lug nuts and using a hammer. At this time Sir this would have been a good time to notify the customer of the problem, not after you screwed up!! The worst ever was to put the car back together and attempt to hand me bad Lug nuts to drive off unsafely. Moreover being told I don't have integrity, being cheap, and not welcomed back, who does that? With your customer service I don't want to come back. I did bring my car for rotate and balance on Sunday in the morning and for my bad luck they only have one to tech working on 10 cars and so when my car was getting back to me my wheels were chipped. They seem to be shorthanded, that was not customer service you are rude and when the car was finally done they didn't tell me I had to myself literally get inside and tell them that my car was ready. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR SERVICE!!!! AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS. I took my VW Golf here for a SIMPLE O2 sensor replacement. At first they could not even find the correct sensor. It took three different trips for them to even fix my o2 sensor while giving me the run around that it may be other problems adding to this issue. Two weeks later and I am having the same issues with a new representative telling me I need some kind of adapter for my vehicle. I then add and pay for this adapter and my vehicle has now been returned to me with every single error light turned on. After going to tell them to look at my vehicle for errors I have never seen and only having it a few days from their shop they tell me its another 100$ to even look at it after paying more than 500$ for something supposedly that was fixed. Do not take your car here they care about absolutely nothing besides you swiping your credit card or some sort of payment. I will never come here again. If you want to waste your entire day, this is the place to go. I dropped my flat tire around 9:30 am and was told that it would take "a couple of hours" to get it repaired. Around 12:30 pm I called them to ask if t was done and was told again that it would take "a couple of hours " again. Around 2:30 pm I decided to go there to see if they were working on it, I found out that it was repaired but they didn't call me. So this is an update as to what has transpired in the last month or two. Tire Plus credited me for the life of the old tires after haggling with them over a better credit on them for the horrible service. They agreed upon $300 for tires to be installed, balanced (emphasis on this is HUGE), and the alignment to be redone. Three days later, I get the shakes on the steering wheel again. The manager at the Tires Plus did let me know that there is a "suspension" problem that is causing the shaking on my steering wheel the last time I was there. Supposedly.... I took it to the dealership today to get some warranty service work. Guess what the technicians found? ALL 4 TIRES WERE SEVERELY OUT OF BALANCE! At this point I am boiling mad and tell the technician to go ahead and do the alignment themselves. They do so and guess what?! There is no shaking on the steering wheel! Man oh man! Imagine that! They balanced my wheels and there is no longer a shake! WOW! Seriously, stay away from this particular location. The people there are shady and the customer service is horrendous. I would rather go to the Sanford, Deltona, or Orange City location before I ever consider the Lake Mary location again. As a matter of fact, I don't even know why I even consider Tires Plus at all at this point. I had to pay out of pocket to get something rectified that I already payed Tires Plus to do. I have to deal with the debt and I had to resort to the dealership to take care of of what they could not. Unbelievably horrible service. Would not recommend to anyone. I brought my car there for a standard oil change. They list a conventional oil change online for $19.99 (including oil filter) or $39.99 for a high mileage. Well, they tried to say it was $60 because "the oil filter is $40." We called around to a couple of local auto parts stores and they had the filter for $14.99 to $16.99. After I said that, they said it really was they didn't want to do it. They wouldn't honor their prices and they were trying to pull a fast one. I was told they were busy, but to come by, they'll get it taken care of for me. When I arrived 10 mins later, I was told I'd have to wait three hours. Ok, I need to provide an update based on what I've been told by other shops. I've now gotten 3 other opinions, from 2 places in Longwood / Altamonte Spring, and 1 other in Lake Mary. All of them have assured me, that there is NOTHING at all wrong with our struts, and that we don't need the $1800 worth of additional repairs we were quoted. I have been told that 2 of the other things they recommended, are services that we do need SOMETIME, not right away. BUT, these shops have all quoted me between $250 and $300 for parts and repairs. Of those 3 shops, 2 of them informed me that Tires Plus has sales goals, and that they have been caught tell people they need services that they don't, just to help meet those goals. I don't have any insider info myself to confirm this, other than what Im told, and the fact that somehow, Tired Plus is the only company in the area who believes my car needs $1800 worth of repairs. I have been taking my cars to tires plus for years. I have never had an issue there until I moved to the area and used this location. I have taken my car there three times, almost all with issue. The first time, they put standard oil in my car when it takes synthetic. After finding that out a month later they fixed the mistake free of charge. This week, I took my car in again for another oil change. When there, they found a nail in my tire so I had them fix that as well. When I was picking up my car, I watched the tech peel out of the parking lot and do a lap behind the building driving like a jackass. His excuse was that he had to reset the tire pressure alert in my car which was a lie. Will not be returning to this location. read more

Had my auto insurance company set up a tow for my car to be brought there. Contacted Mike the morning of, had never been at the location before but he took all the info and handled my car perfectly. Only giving two stars because of the customer service I received by Valerie and waiting area is decent. But everything else was price gouged and I can tell you I was taken advantage of. I came in today to get my vehicle diagnosed, my vehicle wasn't turning on, had corrison on my battery as well as a sulfur smell. I drive a 2016 Chevrolet LT Cruze, 40k miles. Never had any issues on my vehicle, always up to date with maintenance. I needed to see what the issue was, guessing dead battery or catalytic converter because of the smell. Leaning towards dead battery. I drop the vehicle off, Valerie checked me in decided to Uber home - get a call back 2 hours later from Al confirming it was my dead battery and telling me it would require an AMG battery and it would cost upper 300s, mind you without the diagnostic fee incorporated of 100. Then of course he tries to upsale, telling me I need an alignment, new tires, air filter and wiper blades. All for 1200, offering me credit check for their card. I decline. I tell him I will call back because 300 sounds pretty expensive just for a battery. I call back and notify that Id like to just pay for the diagnostic and will install my own battery. I Uber back arrive a little past noon. Al is there, notifys me that the vehicle isnt ready. Okay, I go sit in the waiting area. Al then tells me that my old battery is not functioning any longer and my options are to have a battery brought here and I could install it or of course to pay. Mind you I left my house to pick up the vehicle. I was given the okay. So I panic, I dont have the time to get a battery, Uber back again. So I ask what are my options? Al "graciously" gives me a 10 percent discount and I end up paying 408 dollars for an AMG battery, diagnostic test and labor. Feeling better the situation is fixed, no! I get a phone call 2 hours later from Al asking me if Valerie explained to me that my alternator was in critical condition and was the sole cause of my battery dying and that I should NOT drive the vehicle and get it fixed as soon as possible and he could do it for a whopping 589. I tell him No. What kind of business establishment lets you leave their practice after spending money to call you and tell you not to drive your vehicle after you already payed 400 dollars? Tires Plus does. Drove myself to AutoZone to get a 2nd opinion and they ran a FREE diagnostic test and my alternator came back free of issues. This place is a joke! read more

Horrible experience. I've been to this location once before for tire changes and alignment. No issues other than their attempt to up-sale me on a new battery when I didn't need one during my last visit. In this most current visit, their up-sale tactics went up 100x folds. I went in for an alignment again this time and they accused my truck of having a power steering leak therefore; they couldn't do my alignment. I asked them to point out the leak but all they did was point where it was leaking inside the tubing. They quoted me $900 to fix it. Obviously I said no cuz I don't trust them from a hole in the wall so I brought it to my mechanic. Sure enough, he didn't see any leak. Opened my power steering reservoir and saw my fluid level is adequate. I ended up going to a competitor of Tires Plus and they said power steering fluid has nothing to do with alignment. My family and I have brought a minimum of 2-5 cars to then consistently for new tires, tire rotation, alignment, balance and oil changes (standards stuff). In addition repairs and we have the credit card..... we've been coming for over 10 years!!! They went down hill so bad after several years I brought my car to another location and would drive 45 min plus verse 5 min to other places and were lake mary residents. What a joke. Apprehensive and gun shy for any tires plus is how bad they ruined the companies name for us not just on one person in our family but several over several occasions over several years with various cars. It clearly is a consistency in terrible service, or pay for service you don't get and ridiculous excuses or no communication at all. It just so happened in another state we were traveling and got new tires at a tires plus (extremely apprehensive) but was Limited options and they were fabulous, helpful, timely, respectful, knowledgeable and seemed to genuinely care about customers no matter if they had thousands or one. I was hoping since it's been years I would give the lake mary location another try. Apprehensive again I thought let's just try and be the bigger person. Well big mistake, it isn't just today, today was the last straw and I'm done with giving more chances. Never ever again will I go back and we had an appointment this week for my fiancé (a newer customer) and cancelled that immediately. I was very kind to the current manager mike and he didn't have anything half best to say. He didn't even care I requested to cancel my fiancé's appointment since we were not coming back there and he didn't care and said ok. Well then you don't care that is a major problem and the owner should be furious and the company. I called another location far away and they will gladly take us. Other managers of other locations have even commented lake mary has so many customers they don't care. Clearly they need to re-evaluate and too bad they haven't been forced to shape up or shut down with complaints. Better yet it could be the owner who doesn't care also if they are cleaning up milking people financially. I'll go support another location and as soon as these tires and plan is done I'll support local small shop that cares and has ethics and professionalism. I wish I documented all previous situations and put in formal complaints with company and owner. What's sad is it used to be great in early 2000's and mid. Then who knows what happened. Clearly if you read other comments they are shady and when your gut tells you something listen. Don't go! - newly added, photos of the stuff they left out of my console and left stuff open and on the floor. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE.....On 12/5/17 I came in and got all 4 tires with a warranty and road hazard on each of them. I don't believe I needed all 4 replaced - but I hadn't had any new tires in a while and the price was reasonable so I decided to go ahead and replace. Today, I woke up to a nail in my tire and wouldn't ya know " the warranty didn't cover it" - I asked why and they said something about it being unrepairable due to the nail being in the wheelwell or something to that sort - UNACCEPTABLE - so what DOES the warranty cover. I seriously had the nail in the tire for one day and the damage couldn't have been that bad. I admit I'm no expert but I am quite sure that I shouldn't have had to purchase a new tire AGAIN - since I was just in less than 30 days ago - I could have went to the hood and got a 10$ tire patch up repair and been on my way. I can guarantee these guys work off of commission and get a bonus with every little thing they sell - hence, why they ALWAYS find something wrong - warranty or not - I will NEVER come back here FOR ANYTHING...they can keep that warranty. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS! These people take advantage of people and make used car salesmen look like saints! This is a very scummy company littered with unethical people! Here's my experience: I was on my way to vacation in South Florida and while driving through Lake Mary, FL. I had a flat tire at around 1:30 AM. I had a tow truck drop my BMW off at the nearest tire shop (unfortunately this one) and then I arranged to get a ride down to South Florida for my vacation. The next day I received a call from someone at this Tires Plus letting me know that they checked in my car and he recommended that all four tires be replaced, although only one was flat- so against my better judgment, I trusted them. We talked about the options and agreed on certain tires. A few days later when my vacation was over I arranged for a ride back to Tires Plus but I would not make it back to Tire Plus during their business hours so the service guy said that he would leave the paperwork in the vehicle along with the key. When I got to the vehicle there was no paperwork in the car so I drove the car back to my hometown and waited a couple of days to see if they would send me a statement in the mail... to my surprise, a week went by and nothing came in the mail. I called the shop trying to pay for the tires and the lady I talked to on the phone informed me that I need to settle up with First National Credit Association, I told her I have no idea who/what they are and she told me that it was the credit card I signed up for (WHICH I DID NOT AND WAS UNINFORMED ABOUT-- I NEVER STEPPED FOOT IN THEIR STORE OR SIGNED/AUTHORIZED ANY CREDIT CARD OVER THE PHONE OR INTERNET). I called First National Credit Association and opened up a fraud investigation on the account, a few days later they responded by saying it was not fraud because my vehicle received new tires and I "benefited" from their service so I am liable for the money owed. I told her that this is incorrect, I did not benefit at all from this. Come to find out, First National Credit Association is owned by Tires Plus and that's why they ruled that my case was not fraud. I asked that they provide me with documents to support their case and ALL the documents were FORGED and signed by a "point of sale" system which would have been impossible for me to do given that I was on a beach a couple of hundred miles away and never stepped foot in their shop. They forged my signature on the invoices, reports, and CREDIT CARD APPLICATION! When I looked into this further, they charged me a hell of a lot more than what was agreed upon and conveniently signed my name on the invoice saying that the overcharges were approved by me- WHICH THEY WERE NOT! Then I looked into my vehicles onboard data logger (which records the vehicles speeds, when it was turned on/off, braking, etc.) someone DROVE MY BMW FOR 12 MILES AND AT SPEEDS OVER 65 MILES AN HOUR AFTER THE TIME THE INVOICE SAID THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN RETURNED TO ME- WHICH WAS FALSE- I PICKED UP THE VEHICLE A COUPLE DAYS LATER (AFTER MY VACATION). So long story short, PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SCUMMY PEOPLE. THEY WILL MISTREAT YOU AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR MISFORTUNE. THEY DID THIS TO ME BECAUSE THEY KNEW I WAS ON VACATION AND COULDN'T COME BY TO MONITOR THEM (WHICH IS ALSO WHY ONE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES TOOK MY VEHICLE HOME WITH THEM). NOT ONLY DID THEY OVERCHARGE ME WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, THEY COMMITTED FRAUD BY OPENING A LINE OF CREDIT IN MY NAME, AND USED MY VEHICLE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, WHICH I WOULD CONSIDER VEHICLE THEFT. I sent the company (sent certifieds to Shop address, corporate address, First Credit National Association and the parent company) certified mail demanding them to remove the debts from my name and I did not receive any response (and its been over 6 months) and just last week I applied for a credit card and I was refused because this is a delinquency on the credit report. I have a tremendous amount of economical damages from this experience and now the area manager, Sara Rutledge, of Tire Plus who I called and left a voicemail for twice last week has not returned my calls.
