They are a registered installer for tires purchased from Tire Rack. The installed price for Tires Plus is listed on Tire Rack's website. But the price I was charged was more than the quote. Tires Plus told me if I wanted them to install the tires it would be at their price. It still seemed to be a good price until things got added on. Ultimately it was $46 more than what was listed in their quote at Tire Rack. Tire Rack reached out to them but they have not responded. I have had great service from Tires Plus in the past but I'm disappointed in them now. read more

My most previous experience retired plus in Morrisville was great. Tom Doherty went above and beyond and suggest the future repairs needed.

Tires Plus tried to cheat me several months ago. I still get angry thinking about it. Three months after I bought new tires, I had a blow out. I went to my regular tire guy, and he couldn't help me until 9 o'clock the next morning. I decided to try Tires Plus and went there. I must point out that I told them the tires were new. They had my car for about an hour or more and came back to tell me they couldn't fix it because it had already been patched. I told the man that the tire was new and had not been patched. He said he was sorry but it had been patched, and I'll need to buy a new one. I kid you not! I kept the appointment with my tire guy at 9 o'clock the next morning and, of course, found out that there was no patch on the tire. I went back to Tires Plus a few days later to report this, and a lady there was not helpful. I explained what had happened and this transpired. Her: Well, is it fixed now? Me: Yeah, because of my guy. Her: Well then, what's your problem? It was taken care of. Me: Aren't you concerned? Her: What would you have me do? Went into get 4 brand new tires on my bmw 440i. Women in the front hands me a bag with a lug nut in it and says it's stripped and informed me that they didn't have any lugs to fit my car and it must of came in like that which it didn't she informed me they only get stripped putting them on and not taking them off which is a complete lie.So I pull out and 2 tire pressure sensors said my tires were at 28psi. So I went to Wawa quick to put some air and saw 2 of my 4 tire caps were missing. Not to mention 3 of my tires are exactly the same and one has different marking but said I was same tire. Place is completely incompetent. I read the bad reviews and still decided to give the place a chance what a complete mistake. Please take the reviews you read to heart and stay clear of this rip off of a business. My 2 bmws will never be serviced at tire plus again just wishing the 4k I spent in the last six months with them could take back. read more

Andrew promised my car at 11 am - 12 pm. I called at 1225 pm and was told my car would be done in 30 or so minutes. i called back at 2 pm and was told it was ready. When i said that no one had called, Andrew said "oh, they must have gone to lunch". No apology. When i picked up my car, it was the same. Andrew was chatting with 3 other employees and barely made eye contact. Do not take your car here! I would give it no stars if possible. I thought we could trust this place but after I complained to the manager that they should suggest a customer not put $4500 into a car that may still have an engine problem and isnt even worth $4500, she told me that's not what they do after all "we can fix it". Her attitude made me question if she really was the manager at which point she accused me of asking that because she is a woman. She just kept saying "everything is written down". I explained that the morning the car was brought in my dad suddenly died, leaving us shocked and very vulnerable, she let me know she could care less. What a scam this place is. Not the first time it has happened either. Brought my car in for a slow leak in the tire, assuming a nail was causing it. After the car being at the shop the entire day, they call me informing me that there is a hole in the inner tube of the tire and that it can not be repaired. They quoted my over $250 to replace one tire. I took the car home and brought it to a locally owned auto repair shop and they removed the nail that was stuck and repaired the tire in less than 20 minutes for less than $25. read more

Horrible experience here. I brought my van in because the AC in the back wasn't working. Was blowing out hot air. I told them that the front ac is fine. It's just the back. They proceeded to tell me that in order to see if my compressor is working or not, that they have to charge me 200$ to have my van filled. That there is no other way around it. After they filled the freon all the way up. They tell me that it now has cold air that it's not as cold as it should be that the compressor is going out. But it did in-fact now have cold air. After I paid the 211$ I go outside to leave with my child, and decided to to test the a. In the back. IT WAS HOT AIR! I asked what are they talking about and what exactly did they do, and he proceeded to tell me that the ac never even checked the rear air conditioning! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That's why I brought my van in. They ripped me off. I called a few other dealerships and they told me that they can test the compressor with out having me pay 200$ that tire plus ripped me off! I was quoted by tire plus almost 700$ to replace my compressor! If they would have just been upfront and not ripped me off. I would have paid that 700$ to fix my air conditioning. But now they lost out because of how I was treated. The supposable 3 gallons of Freon that they added to my van made NO DIFFERENCE! My air conditioning was COLDER BEFORE THEY MESSED WITH IT! I don't recommend this place to anyone. I am now stuck paying 200$ to them and I honestly don't even know if they actually added freon to my van. I really honestly don't because like I said, the air worked better before they messed with my van! So whoever the owner is of his place, you should be really upset that your employees took advantage of me and lost your business another 700$. Arrived several hours before closing to purchase a tire as I was passing through town on business and blew a tire. They only had one mechanic! And he was too busy to throw a tire on for me. I was told that I could make an appointment and return, mentioned to the clerk that I was passing through and was willing to wait. Was told that wasn't possible and that I would need to schedule an appointment. I've been to tires plus in several other states in my travels and this one has put me off so much that I will no longer be giving them my business. read more

Just DON'T COME HERE! I had issues with my tire and asked them to take a look. After taking a look they said they took care of it. That same day my sensor went of that there was low air in the tire. I took it back to them, the guy quickly filled air without inspecting it, and said it was fine. Four days later I got a flat tire! Also, I showed COVID symptoms which I informed them about on Monday. The CDC says 5 days in the quarantine period. When I called to schedule them to look at mt tire AFTER quarantine, the rude receptionist Christine said "Didn't you say you have COVID? I don't know about the 5 day quarantine". I told her that's the CDC policy. She is ignorant and unprofessional. The first thing she should have done was apologize that I had to to return for them to fix the tire, which is what was suppose to be done. Worst place ever! They totally scammed my elderly mother and I am furious. She borrowed my car for a few days, and had to take it in this morning with a flat tire. She was told the tire couldn't be repaired, however, I know that tire has a patch which probably just went bad. Then they told her they only had one tire available for my 2016 Honda CRV, hardly a unique vehicle, and charged her $185 for it. I'd previously received quotes to have the tires replaced for $100 each, mounted and balanced. A quick internet search shows that tires for this vehicle should be between $75-$120 each. BEWARE of SCAM ARTISTS! I brought my car in for a routine oil change and was told that I desperately needs new brakes pads, roters and calipers. I was skeptical, as I drive less than 8,000 miles a year and just had my brakes completely redone 9 months prior. I was finally able to get a hold of some tools and have my brakes inspected by my father (he was visiting from the west coast) and sure enough, nothing was wrong with the brakes at all. As a woman, this "establishment" completely took advantage of me and warned that when I opted for a second opinion that I was driving away in a "dangerous vehicle." I would give this place negative stars if I could. Today, I brought my car in because the (almost brand new) driver's side front tire was losing air. My husband had removed it from the car and used Fix-a-Flat on it. I went to Tires Plus and waited for almost two hours for them to fix the tire and put it on the car. Turns out, the receptionist finally came and got me and said that they couldn't fix the tire because of the Fix-a-Flat inside. He said that they needed to use "grinders and other electrical tools" that could ignite the flammable Fix-a-Flat. Then he tried to sell me a new tire. See where this is headed? I told him I wasn't prepared to purchase a new tire at this time, and then he told me that it was "against company policy" for them to patch my tire because of "safety concern." He suggested that I take it to a gas station and see if "maybe they could do it." So, I left (at least I didn't pay for anything) and took it to a tire place up the street. The owner rolled his eyes when I told him about the Fix-a-Flat flammability (trying saying THAT ten times fast) issue, and said that he could patch the tire from the inside, no problem. When I picked up the car, the owner said that yes, Fix-a-Flat IS flammable but that you can just clean it out and patch the tire from the inside without incident. Apparently, two to three customers PER WEEK show up at this other garage after Tires Plus screws up their car or tries to sell them hundreds of dollars of repairs they don't actually need at all. So, basically, the guy at Tires Plus saw a young woman walk in and thought that he could manipulate me into spending five times as much as their fee to fix a punctured tire. I am soooooo angry at Tires Plus and will never, ever consider going there again. read more

I sent my suburban in fo tires there was just one other car there it literally took over 2 hours my daughter wanted me to do it so she can get to work on time. The second time I went l bought 2 brand new cv axles they wouldn't use them they wanted me to use their parts so l went to a mechanic In Trenton NJ that l know and he used my parts. The third time l ordered 4 315 70 R17 firestone mt2 and had an appointment set for 3 week's later when I got there they said they didn't get them because they wanted me to put money down but never contacted me to let me know. I'm glad l didn't need them right away. I ended up ordering the tires from tire rack and they shipped them right to my house and took them to firestone in feasterville pa by my job to be put on. We went to get a slow leak repaired on a tire. They told us that we had a damage that not could be repaired so they tried to sell us a new tire. They would not even installed the spare because it is their policy not to install used tires. New tire cost estimate was $130. There was no charge but we took the car to a nearby auto repair shop where they fixed the problem immediately for only $25. Their honesty and integrity have been compromised. So I would recommend to avoid this place of business at all cost. read more

I have been going to this TP location for almost two years. I have had a great experience there. They have very competent mechanics, and the current managers, Mike and Tom, really understand what customer service is. I stopped going to the dealership where I bought my car for maintenance and repairs...much better prices here. In addition to routine maintenance, such as tires, brake pads and oil changes, I had a catalytic converter and engine manifold pipe replaced. They did a great job on both. I also have saved a lot of money with the alignment plan, which is basically the cost of two full alignments. (The roads in Greater Philadelphia got really chewed up these past few winters, leaving many pot holes.) Today, I had the fuel system cleaned, and the car is running much better. read more

I took my car in for inspection last year and this year. Last year, I was told I needed to have my brakes replaced, and it would cost me about $800. This was a real disappointment, because I had just finished paying off the car loan the month before, and I was looking forward to having no car payment for the first time in about 20 years (long story). Then this came along. I was offered the Tires Plus credit card, which allows 6 months to pay it off with no interest, and of course I had to have my brakes, so I told them to go ahead. This year, I was told all I needed to pass inspection was some wiper blades, so that was fine. But then I was told the valve cover gasket was starting to leak and the spark plugs had reached the end of their lifespan and should probably be replaced. They also recommended flushing out the coolant or something, I don't remember all the details. But the total cost for all of this service plus the inspection, oil change, and wiper blade replacement was going to run me close to $1000. This struck me as ridiculously expensive, so I refused the extra services. As soon as I got home, I started doing some research online to find out what the estimated cost for the work is in this area, and I discovered the cost I had been quoted to have the valve cover gasket replaced was more than twice the average cost of such work in this area. I had also been told the work would take many hours at Tires Plus, leaving me without my car for the entire day. I found someone else to replace both the valve cover gasket and the spark plugs for $220, a savings of nearly $350 over what Tires Plus would have charged me for the same work. And the work only took about 90 minutes. I feel like everything they told me at Tires Plus has been an outright lie, and I am outraged. I am also now wondering how much I would have saved on the brake job last year if I had taken the car to a more reliable mechanic. Never again. read more

Had wanted the same brand as the other 3 (goodyear), said it was in stock, dropped car off and upon return in fact they put a mastercraft on that was a private labeled cooper brand. Atrocious Customer Service and buisness ethic. Tires Plus Morrisville is taking advantage of its hard working customers. Bought 2 tires a few weeks ago. Long story short I find out my metal valve stem was snapped and my new tire is leaking air. Yesterday I go for an inspection and to get the valve stem replaced. Head home 2 hours later my tire is halfway flat. Since it was raining I could see the bubbling by the valve stem and hear the hissing. So back we go to the Morrisville location. Cashier was extremely numb to what I was trying to explain barely said a word to me. I wait 10 mins then she shows me a large puncture hole. She says "It looks like you punctured it with something but its not in there anymore. Tires not losing any air where the valve stem is." My son told them right there that there was no large puncture when we brought it in and that due to the rain we could see bubbling around the valve stem. The worker just stared at us then offered to see if the tires I bought had a warranty. Which I was told I had. Guess what. I had no warranty. They wouldn't offer to do anything so I had to have them put the flat tire back on. Can't drive my car and now I have to find an honest, reputable company to help me. If I had that puncture in my tire it would have been completely flat not just half way losing air like it was when I brought it back. If you value your hard earned money then take your buisness elsewhere. Customers obviously are not valued at Tires Plus! read more

Extremely rude and incompetent. Dropped off my car to get a tire fixed and after I get home, they call telling me that they can't find a tire key. I told them that it was under the spare tire and the response was they checked and that I'm welcome to come down to look for it because they searched. I go to pick up my car and get home and check and there is the tire key right where I said it was. I call them back and let them know and again I am met with unprofessionalism and rudeness from their manager, Christine. I have never had an issue with this company before but this location is extremely incompetent and rude. I will stick to the one I usually go to. read more

First issue with this pathetic place. Scheduled an online appointment it took almost an hour after the appointment time before the vehicle was taken in, the excuse given was they were havinga problemwith another vehicle that was on the rack but no vehiclewas on the rack. Issue 2 the incompetent employees couldn't get the nuts off to do an alignment. I had no problem taking them off the prior day and had no problem taking them off after getting home from that appointment. Issue 3 when making an online appointment you have to fill in your full name, complete address and phone number but despite doing that they charged my sisters credit card and billed it in her name. When asked why they did that the moron said we go by the phone number on the account. So according to the incompetent employee my sister has a phone number she doesn't know listed on her account. They billed her credit card that's on file without asking for any identification, listed NJ as the plate despite it having a Pa plate. read more

I went to Tires Plus in Morrisville several times, but NEVER AGAIN. The first time, I just needed tires and I had a coupon, so I got 4 tires there. No problem, but that was several years ago. I think I might have had 2-3 inspections done there, and I always passed, but they always "recommended" that certain services be done. When I asked if these were things that would cause me to fail inspection, they would say no, but they really, really should be done in the next few months. I know they need to try to sell extras, and depending on the person working, this would be a hard-sell or a soft-sell. I met a lady there in the waiting area last year who told me her son had quit working there because he was being pressured to sell customers extra services they didn't need, by convincing them that these were serious safety issues. But the last time I went there was the worst. I had a leak in one tire. They said it could not be patched, so I had it replaced. No problem so far; I knew I'd need new tires in the next 6 months anyway. I also asked for an alignment, but they came out with a whole long story about how they could not do an alignment because a "control arm" was bent badly. It would be a few thousand dollars to fix this. I said I'd have the Honda dealer check it out instead. Honda guys examined it with a fine tooth comb and said nothing was bent, and did my alignment for a really good price. Tires Plus also likes to tell you that you are due or overdue for manufacturer recommended/ scheduled services long before you are due (like timing belt and water pump). When you tell them your owner's manual and the Honda website say it's not due for a long time, they say "oh this is a NEW recommendation that Honda just put out." When I checked that with the Honda service dept, they laughed and said to "watch out for places like that." Right before my bad experience my boyfriend had his car there for a repair, and I drove by and saw his car left unattended out in the parking lot, with all the windows completely rolled down, and his belongings still in the car. I ran in and asked about it, and they said they only left it open for "a few seconds." Riiiiiiiight. Go there at your own risk! read more

I used to go to Tires Plus, but never again. They have changed their customer service, or added to their customer service, which was already too crowded. And now every one seems to be after your money. They have started taking much longer than before. Their prices are more expensive than surrounding firestones, Mr Tires and others. Two days ago I went to Tiresplus and got an oil change for $23, today on my other car they are saying that it would cost me $44, even when I told them that I just talked to them and they said $20 for the oil change. There is even a coupon on their website for $21 oil change. As a result, I took my car to nearby Firestone and got the oil change for $21. read more

I am now convinced that these guys are crooks who will sabotage your tires so that you have to come back. About two years ago I had a slow leak in one tire on 2010 car. Tires were getting worn anyway so when I was told that I needed new tires I believed them. Hell, I'm not an auto mechanic. Four new tires, problem solved and now ready for winter. But within a couple days the low tire pressure light comes on, one of the new tires is low on air. OK, I top it off and within a week the light comes on again, same tire. I take it back and there's damage to the side wall, they can't patch it, but at least they comp me the tire. So far so good. With a week the low pressure light comes on again. Now a different tire has a slow leak. Again, sidewall damage, so cannot be patched, another new tire. Do not recall if I paid for that one or not, but I probably did. With a week the low pressure light comes on again. Déjà vu? Nope. Another tire had a slow leak, again it was a different tire. Frustrated I drove around with it for a couple months, checking the pressure every other day and topping it off at least once a week (usually on a Sunday, so I knew that I'd be OK for the work week). After driving around for over three months I decided to take care of this once and for all, went back to Tires Plus and told them how this has had a slow leak for months now, since my last visit. Can you guess what happened? Sidewall damage, tire cannot be patched, another new tire. Within a week the low pressure light comes on again. I shit you not! Another slow leak in a different tire. I went to a completely different garage and guess what? Tire got patched, no more leaks! Now just two days ago I went back to Tires Plus, figuring it'd been a couple years and maybe they had a bad apple working there. I didn't recognize anyone. I had a wobble on the steering wheel and a knock in a front wheel well. Uneven wear on the front tires, plus a bent sway bar - $400 dollars later and I drive home happy, the car is running great agian! Until the next day, when I wake up to the low pressure light - one of the rear tires now mysteriously has a slow leak. I am not made of money or time. This Saturday, when I have free time again, I'm going to a completely different garage and never looking back. read more

Well, they did it again. My wife took her car in for inspection, was told she needed a new muffler, but they would do her a favor and could fix it for $700.00+. Luckily it was only the pipe back from the catalytic converter, and another 400 for brake work. They failed her inspection. I took it for a 2nd opinion, and there is no problem with the exhaust. I had my oil changed at Tire's Plus last week and paid extra for a "complete check" of the car. A week later I notice a strange noise coming from my front wheel. Decided to bring the car to Nissan instead of returning to Tire's Plus. Apparently Tire's Plus failed to put my front wheel on tight!!! Rip-off artists!!! I was driving to work on Rt. 1 N and hit a pothole and blew a tire. I made my way over to the shoulder, called AAA, and prayed for the next half hour waiting for them. The shoulder was narrow and I was over the line into the right lane. The cars, trucks, 18 wheelers were flying past me making my car shake the entire time, and trust me, I was terrified. I was towed to Tires Plus, and I explained why I was towed and told the girl behind the counter of my harrowing experience sitting on the side of Rt. 1 to explain why my hands were shaking. I told them there was a tire with a slow leak in the back that just needed a plug to replace the tire I just blew. They came back and said I had to buy 4 new tires. I said, no, I want the older one repaired for now. They said they absolutely could not do that and I had to buy at least one new tire. I had previously gotten a quote for $100/tire installed but was waiting till next paycheck to buy them when this happened. So, I figured ok, pay them $100 now for the one tire. But no, they charged me $185!!! I am older, walk with a cane, needed to get to a business meeting and was frazzled, and I feel that they took total advantage of me because of it!!! And it took them 2.5 hours to replace the tire and there were only 2 other vehicles in the place when I got there, so I missed my business meeting. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! read more

Tires plus in Morrisville Pa or any other tires plus or Firestone is the worst company to work for, or to get work done. This is y tires plus is designed to rip off the customers, on a daily basis the management including the district manager jay Sporn demand services to be preformed on cars. These services are including but not limited to brake flushes coolant flushes alignments and other services, they demand each store to get a number of them per day so in return they push it on the customers even if they don't need it. Another scam is the complete vehicle check. You come in for a problem and an inspection and they charge u for both when in reality the inspection for the state is the only one you need because the mechanic has to look over the complete vehicle anyway. Another scam is the selling if tires. They tell people with all wheel drive vehicles that they need all for tires if a tire comes in to be fixed because they can't just replace one. That is just not true you can replace 2 or even 1 if its the same tire. They will also sell people tires that are even needed. They will tell u the tire is 2 old or the tread is low and in fact it doesn't fail state inspection or violates any laws. Tires according to the state is 7-10 years old when tires plus is 4 years. Also brakes. Tires plus will fail you for warped rotors or pitted heated rotors or pads under 2 32nds and most of the time it doesn't fail. The lead tech is the one that is the biggest rip off and they don't even stop him. They feed him jobs and the lead tech will tell you it will cost you over 1000 dollars to repair your car when in most cases it would be a couple 100 dollars. But he adds in extra parts that don't need to be replaces. As you see the company should be investigated for fraud because they care scamming the customers and the mechanics will do anything to make commission.. DON'T NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE IT WILL BE A MISTAKE. IF YOU DO GET A SECOND OPINION BEFORE U GET ANY WORK DONE THERE. read more
