My 82 year old mother went in for an oil change. The not so nice woman at the front desk bullied her into applying for a credit card (which my mother didn't want but the woman was insisting and my mother was upset so she did it) This is predatory behavior. Clearly this company has a credit card quota that they need to fill so going after the elderly is their way to do it. Despicable. read more

In order to receive discount, they recommend you apply for the credit card. CFNA is owned by Bridgestone and is a scam. I send checks every month prior to the due date and every month they charge a late fee because they generally don't cash it until after the 13th. When I call to dispute the illegal and/or immoral behavior. They blame me for not paying thru their website. So I came here to get a tired replaced and they did it fine, but then a week later I had another tire problem and when I went to change my tire, the wheel lock was missing. Lo and behold this place apparently likes to keep them safe for you, so if you're looking for your tire key and you've been here in the past, I suggest popping by to see if yours is here. Just had an awful experience at Tires Plus on 38. Had an appointment 2 days in advance, they didn't have the oil for my car but I didn't find out until after I was sitting there for 1.5 hours. No one told me or talked to me. 2 hours later and $160, had my oil finally changed. Awful customer service. Not prepared to do the job that was scheduled. Update: Noticed a discrepancy on my bill and called the store owner Bill, and asked him about the discrepancy. He said it's an overcharge. I asked him what an overcharge was and he told me it wasn't necessary for him to explain that to me. read more

My recent encounter with this establishment has left me deeply disappointed. As a long-standing customer, I brought my car in for a power steering fluid leak, which they repaired. However, persistent bubbles in the fluid raised concerns. Despite providing video evidence and explaining the potential issues, the staff dismissed the problem as normal. When I sought to address the matter with corporate in the lobby, they took an extreme step and called the police on me for alleged trespassing. called made an appt for a simple tire plug. was told on phone they do plugs. brought in the vehicle in the am and again repeated the screw is on top tread not sidewall and needed a simple plug. 1 hour later the tech comes to me and states he his unable to patch and recommended tire replacement but they didn't carry the specific tire on my brand new 2 month old vehicle. I told the tech it only needs a plug and he said they don't do plugs - they only do patches (WTF)...! why waste my time & yours just to try and cheat me into getting a brand new tire..this is truly a bait and switch tactic. Do not go here!!!!! I'm not one to complain but when you put my child's life and my own life in danger I feel as though others should know. My first time here. Wanted to stop in before work. Convenient location so I thought I'd give it a try. Waited over an hour for an oil change. They recommended that I got a new air filter, so I agreed. My $70 oil change went up to $110 with the filter. They told me 20 more minutes. An hour later I asked what was going on and they told me that the filter was "on it's way." I couldn't wait any longer because I had to go to work so I said I'd return the next day. I drove the car, like normal. Got to my destination and there was smoke billowing from my hood. Turned off the car and popped the hood and my cars engine was literally on fire. They didn't screw the cap back onto the oil canister. Oil was everywhere, which caused the fire. Complete negligence. I also almost had to beg to just get an apology. Will never return. Carelessness could've costed me or what's worse, my child's life. Been a customer of Tires Plus for 20 year. Had a 7:00 am appointment for 100k service. At 8:30 am Manager informed me five hours worth of work. Said okay. Have to leave by 2:00 to get to my job at 3:00. At 1:30 asked associate status of service. He said it was going to be another hour. Told him I couldn't wait another hour, had to leave at 2:00 for work. At 1:50 the manager tells me it's going to be another hour. Told him again that I needed to leave in 10 minutes for work. Said he would have a rental car brought to the store. At 2:20 rental car company shows up and says I have to go to their store to get the car and sign the paperwork. Said the Tires Plus manager never asked for the car to be delivered. Didn't leave car rental store until 2:30. Was late for work. Tires Plus manager couldn't of cared less if I was late for work or got fired from my job. read more

I took my car here twice. First time, I didn't make an appointment, the second I did. For the first visit, I just popped in and was desperately needed an oil change before driving from NJ all the way to Massachusetts. I expressed my urgency and was told the oil change would be done in an hour, no problem. Well, an hour later, the car had *just* gone into the garage for service. Furious but I thought, ok, the guy at check in was new, maybe this won't happen again. Fast forward a few months, I made an appointment for the second visit. I brought my car in on time and again, it didn't go into the garage until WAY after was promised. I had made the appointment soon after the garage opened and the guy who specialized in my kind of car hadn't shown up yet. He performed the service quickly once he finally arrived but again, I was angry. Just found out today after another oil change at NOT this place that the wrong oil was used as well as the wrong filter. So the "expert" wasn't so good at being an expert. Forget this place! Took my car there to get the brakes and oil changed. After getting the car back some time later, I had issues with the car I've never had before. Irrelevant to what they had already fixed, out of no where back to back. They pushed a Tire plus credit card making it convenient to pay off any fixing needed but it felt like they assisted in me bringing the car back to get something else fixed if you know what I mean. I purchased some off size tires for my car from Tire Rack. Listed in the installers they deal with was Tires Plus. I called up and scheduled an appointment after my tires were delivered. After the tires were installed, the manager almost refused to honor the Tire Rack agreed upon pricing. He kept complaining on how I was the last one, and he can't make money. He said he was going to call Tire Rack and take Tires Plus off the list. I told him it wasn't my problem the owner negotiated something with Tire Rack. He also would not honor the lifetime rotate and balance either. In addition, he has refused to provide the courtesy service inspection. Originally I was told they only do it if asked. Now they want to charge $15 for it despite it still being called courtesy. He still didn't do it, and told me I could wait another hour for the inspection. I have been going here for 6 years, and will probably not ever go back. I will have to find another Tires Plus to honor the lifetime alignment, and other services I purchased. read more

Not only was Ed very pleasant to speak with, he did everything that he could to lay out what the costs would be and didn't try to upsell me (which I find very rare driving a BMW). The incorrect tires were installed on my vehicle and they did not correct the error. I would give zero stars if I could.

First off i walk in and tell the desk guy i have tires in my car that i need switched. He tells me they dont switch used tires. I look at him funny and say you dont do that? (a tire place that doesnt switch tires) he goes its a liability but thats beyond me thats not what i ment, i say no i have wheels in the car i just need switched. Hes says oh so you just basically need a tire rotation and says do you have the right lug nuts? Again i look at him funny because you can use the lug nuts that are already on the car for the new wheels. So he says i just want to make sure youll be safe lets go take a look at the wheels. I comply and we go look. So he looks at the tire and sees they are rims and says the tire lip is close to the rim so we wont be able to put these on your car because the tire may slip off the rim and we are liable. (seems like he was lookin for any reason to decline buissness) i made sure i did my research to get the right rim and tire for my specific car so this should have been 2.5 switch and go thanks for nothing. read more

Having dealt with them for 6+ years, I finally decided to leave. In the beginning, they were decent and polite. That was the main reason to keep them as my car mechanics even that they were (still are) overly priced. One of time, I took my car in for tire replacement and oil change, they forgot to reset my oil reminder. It was during closing and the mechanic was rushing to go home and claimed not knowing how to reset and I have to wait to the next morning. I spent 1 hour learning on how to reset in manual and YouTube, a perfect time waste and money well spent. Most recent, I found the front desk rude and not useful. When asked a question (not knowing much about cars), I would get a mock response. Having called them for a quote and asked if I am still covered under their warranty, they simply said "It should be and will cost little to nothing to fix, you need to come into the office". When I arrived, I got an estimated bill that was without warranty since I was one month beyond my warranty period. What can't you tell me that over the phone? Love this place. Have always had a good experience when taking my car here and have never felt cheated. These guys tell it to you straight and are great at what they do. Have had a range of services performed here and have always felt the service was fairly priced and well done. Came in 2 days ago for an oil change and a clicking noise. They changed my oil, checked a few other things and gave me the run-down on what I needed to know and what I needed to do. When it comes to your car, you should know all you can so you take good care of your vehicle to avoid as much damage resulting from "user error" as possible. Typical chain automotive place. Work is more reliable than a quick lube place, and staff is friendly. Expect them to try to sell you some services you didn't go in for, some of which are the typical unnecessary bill padding you'll get at any chain, and if you want your car back in a reasonable amount of time, say you'll wait. Went in for an oil change and breaks, had a 7:30 AM appointment time, car was finally done around 5:30 PM. I've just walked in for an oil change, and been done in an hour. Long story short, they're fine for routine maintenance, but know what you want before you go in (check what the manufacturer recommends for your car/mileage) and don't let them sell you any extra. For diagnostics and repairs, I'd take my business elsewhere to an independent garage. read more

I had a tire bubble on my wheel so I made an appointment while I was at work for 2pm. When I got to my car to head over on my lunch break, I have a voicemail from 1:30. The man told me that I was late and people were waiting to get in. He proceeded to tell me to get there in the next hour. Confused, I check my email and confirm that I was supposed to be there at 2. I cautiously drive there (anxious was an understatement, I do not recommend driving with a tire bubble). I get there at 1:45 and ask them about the Voicemail. He tells me that they are booked and he would not be able to help me for an hour to an hour and a half. I tell him the appointment was for 2 and I am on my lunch break, I just needed him to change the tire. "well I tried to warn you by calling you". Seems like he mistakenly thought my appointment was for 1 and took walk-ins. If you want better service, go to Goodyear at the Moorestown mall. read more

I brought my car here after having trouble changing brake pads. they were spongy after the fix and tires plus looked at them. before i worked on them they worked great just squeaky due to old pads. they quoted me $850 with all these repairs that had to be made. ithought how outrageous it sounded and said i just want the spongyNess fixed. i ended up having to pay $100 just because they looked at it. went to another local mechanic and paid under $50 for a brake flush now car is good as new. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TIRES PLUS. my mother had a similar incident where they blatantly lied to her and the car dealership told her that their diagnosis was incorrect. STAY AWAY!! read more

Lied about the need for new rotors, claiming they rusted by sitting three weeks while I was on vacation. When I tried to decline the work, the manager used scare tactic to get me to agree to it saying the car might not stop when the brakes were applied. Since I had to travel 175 miles home, I agreed to front rotors only. My regular mechanic examined the old rotors and said they didn't need replacing. The minimal rust would have worn off through driving. Stay away - rip off artists! read more

Quality service overall and great customer service from Rob or Phil. Very honest, fair and trustworthy. Prices are reasonable and they go out of their way to work with you. Not the type of place that will sell you something you don't need! I get all my cars serviced here. Quality of work has always been good. I've had AC repairs, suspension parts replaced, brakes, tires, oil changes and maintenance service done over the years and never had a problem.
