Recently, after a car wash, I noticed a gash on the sidewall of one of the tires, I probably hit a curb. I had just dropped off my wife at Tampa International Airport and stopped in to see if the tire could be replaced. I forgot to bring the original receipt. I explained the tire status and my situation to the attentive clerk. After looking up my information she instructed me to wait in the waiting area. Approximately (90) ninety minutes later the tire was replaced, renewed road hazard insurance, new valve and tpi installed, balanced, disposal/recycling fee, and the prorated tire was sold to me for a reasonable $125.00. No they did not have my make of tire. They could order it, but would take till Monday or Tuesday. He had a tire, the right fit that would not stand out from my tires, it could be on my vehicle quickly & the price was good. Oil change + tire rotation. Told me they close at 5pm, which is also what their hours online show. I got one missed call from them after 3pm, no voicemail. I call back around 3:40 when I saw they had called and she told me my battery is bad, and asked which tires do I want rotated. Oh by the way we actually close at 4pm, do you want to pick it up tomorrow? No. Appointment was at 2pm and we dropped it off around 1:30pm. Used to be a decent place but now the customer service is practically nonexistent from what I experienced with the female at the desk. I have given this shop numerous chances. Every time it's a disappointment. Started with tires for my truck. I told them I had a tire vibration. They insisted my rear drums were out of round and I needed a brake job. $500. Left the shop with the same vibration. Replaced tires, vibration gone. Took truck in for cooling system flush. Leaving shop truck overheated. Low on coolant. Took truck there a third time for oil change and tire rotation. Was told they couldn't rotate the tires because of a bent wheel. Took truck to Goodyear, they dismounted the tire and spun the wheel. The wheel is 100% perfect. Took my Prius in for an oil change. When I picked up the car the maintenance light was still on. I was told it no longer can be reset. I reset it in 30 seconds. These people are incompetent. They are trying to learn cars at other people's expense. Stay far away from this place if you value your car. I will never go there again. I've given them chance after chance and they just keep proving how incompetent they truly are. read more

I highly recommend this location for your tire needs, I ordered mine online, arrived to my appointment and they took my keys straight away, they let me know around what time to pick it up and I was on my way, quick and easy. They called me a few hours later said my car was ready. Had Tires Plus replace a tire pressure sensor on my vehicle. They either put on one that is not compatible or one that is defective, it kept failing and they would r r program it , but it kept dieing. I PUTon one that is compatible and not defective , it works just fine no more failures. Tires plus Informed they would not continue to reprogram the sensor. They got my money and never cared that they degraded the safety systems of my car. Do not trust them to do anything to your car as they are not trust worthy and only care about the money. read more

Their team is very experienced and only replace what truly needs replacement. I have both of my vehicles serviced there this past week. I called Tires Plus and showed up with less than an hour before closing. I'm here from NH, visiting my daughter and newborn granddaughter. On Sunday 6/15/2014 (Fathers Day), I was headed to Ocala around 1:30, the front end of my car started shaking pretty bad. A very nice man took me to this Tires Plus, I arrived around 2 pm, I was greeted by Vinnie, (hilarious guy). He told me he was booked solid but if I was willing to wait he would fit me (thinking it was a simple balancing issue), It was around 4pm (closing time) they took my car in, the first kid (I think he was new), said he couldn't find anything. Vinnie insisted he check a list of things. tires were slightly off but no big deal. Vinnie, had another tech take it out. After speaking Vinnie came in and said nothing in the front end was found, but he thought I needed to get my car to a MINI dealer ASAP that "something" was definitely wrong with my engine. All staff were very patient and kind, explained everything. When, I left around 5pm an hour after closing, I was certain I would be back there for a oil change before leaving FL. Vinnie was VERY right, my MINI went to the dealership on Monday the 16th, I got him back today Thursday the 19th and $5200 worth of work later thankfully covered. My back story first, them what happened, Lastly a ask from me NO MONEY JUST A CALL TO THEM.. I have suffer sine 2010 I had to leave the work force. I had a few strokes then heart attacks that damaged my body and cause mental damage. I have had diabetes, COPD, and Mental unhealth. I am fat and unhealth yes I am to blame for that. I have lost all my family members from grand-parents, aunts and uncles, I have a sister and niece that I have no contact with for years. I have 1 son that is a gift from God doing great in college becoming a medical examiner hopeful. Doing it all on his own with working it with grants and anything he can do. As his father I failed to him in his education. He lives with his mother my first wife of 15 years now moving there after his 17th birthday to be close to school half way across the state. I have a great 10 year old girl here with me and my 2nd wife of 13 years. We survive on my SSID and her part time job barely. We have a 30 year old golf cart that is my world to get out driving to feel human it is hard now and not wise for me to drive a vehicle much. Our only vehicle is 17 years old and got used last year because our 18 year old van died. HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED 1-3-2020.. Tires Plus Garage in New Port Richey I will post there information at the end. This group of managers and Mechanics have helped me keep our van running for awhile. They help me feel good and take time to show and explain things so I can mentally understand they have gone beyond the extra mile. They probably hate seeing my golf cart pull up not their fault it takes extra time and effort to guide me. I have saved money up to get the oil changed. But the water temperature gauge was not steady while my wife took us around to pay bills I had just gotten my SSID. So, I called them for a price and pawned things and got the van there because I felt good that afternoon and my wife needed to get things done at home I drove there it is close. Like normal the people were great and I felt great being out 95% of the time I am homebound to help my health. They finished our van and I paid. I went out to the van and it would not start just kept turning over. I just watched the van start and the man test drive it and get out and walked in. They came out 3 mechanic's and 2 managers working on it to find out what happened. They pushed it back in the garage the manager once again got my dead cell phone on a charger for me they are like the family members you wish you had always making me feel special. I was seating in the office when the manager came in and sat down across from me knowing I guess this was not going to go well. My Cam position sensor and Crank position sensor gave out. They walked me out and the 2 then 3 mechanics and managers showed me and talked to me seeing my panic and tremors starting I guess. Told me and walk in and relax they will get me a price. I started freaking out I did not have a meds with me I was alone. I had to get up and go outside I was so stressed I vomited 2 times and went back inside. Then my world crashed they told me the cost of it. Embarrassed now but then I panicked and started emotionally crying. We have no money saved or extra I had to get 6 teeth pulled during Christmas had a infection in my jaw and mouth. I lost my 4 front upper teeth and 2 back teeth on the bottom. 1 shattered and took well over a hour to get the parts out. I had to get out of the office they did not know this was earth shattering to my family without that van I could not see my son the one or times a months I can afford the gas. This would cost my wife her job to get food and pay bills for our family and even would effect my ability to get my girl back and forth to school. I still owe a couple thousand on it from financing it we could not afford to just buy a vehicle. I have been selling all my belonging for a long time and even in market place on Facebook and E-bay. After many visits and talks between me and managers and the mechanic's coming out and checking on me and talking to me I was outside having a emotional and mental breakdown crying and getting very sick. They came out got down on my plane and told me they will fix it and it will not cost me they will do it. I did not know and understand to afterward from the staff it was already started and will be done. I am not positive how they got it done and covered I was lost in mental and psychical hell. When your live is controlled by illness and medications your just there. Manager Bradley gave me a great deal on a set of 4 tires and the service tech kept me informed of all progress and gave good explanations of all work needing to be done. I felt comfortable with all the decisions and trusted I was not being lied to as many shops will do to a woman. The service was done in a timely manner and everyone there was very friendly. if i could give -5 stars I would. Have been to this location about 5 times now for them to still not fix the SAME issue. Went in to get front tires put on about 3 weeks ago. All they did was put the tires on and not balance them or align them. Left and had problems with the wheel shaking and veering to the right. Went back and they balanced the tires. Left and still has issues with a shaky wheel and I could feel it very bad in the pedal. Went back again and they aligned the tires. Left and STILL had issues with veering to the right. Went back yet once again for them to order more tires and replace them. Guess what. Still had problems when I left after getting different tires. Not to mention they never test drove the car to make sure it was fixed after each time I was there. So went back again got new tires AGAIN for them to still not be right. so yeah basically they suck and can't fix tires for shit. I mean you work at a tires plus and you're having this difficult of a time with tires? Not to mention I have found out yesterday an employee recently quit because he and i quote said "they half ass everything, especially alignments". If i would've known before I would've never stepped foot in this place. So yeah then all they offered us for the inconvenience was a $25 standard oil change, when my car takes full synthetic oil. Dropped off my flat rim and tire off at this location at 8am. Told the technician I would be back at closing to pick the rim and tire back up. They called me and left me a voice mail at noon to assure me my rim and tire was fixed and ready for pick up. I trusted their work because 6 months prior I spent nearly $700 on a new set of falken performance tires with all the bells and whistles. I arrived 45 minutes before closing to pick up my rim and tire that was supposed to be patched and filled to the proper psi. The guy working the counter inside answered 2 phone calls after I had walked in the empty building and told him I was here to pick up my rim and tire that I had dropped off that morning. I wasn't greeted and I was ignored for the first 10 mins to finally be asked my name and told to sign the piece of paper and to go get my rim from the garage. I didnt know they allowed customers in the work bay. I went into the garage where I asked the busy technician where I could find my rim. He pointed and I went to get my rim when I realized as I was carrying it over to my trunk it was completley flat. Brought It back to be inspected for any holes the first technician missed. Surely there was another hole in the tred pattern. As the green tech sprayed the flat tire I stood there baffled. No wonder they missed the additional hole after patching it the first time. This is no bull shit the kid was spraying a flat tire with soapy water. Well he couldn't find any other holes so I let him continue to spray the bead and the valve stem instructed by the counter guy who refused to tell me his name when I asked. I could not believe what I was witnessing. These clowns were disrespectful and threatened to remove me from the building. After realizing the tire had two holes. I would have just had the tire replaced at that point. I had asked the guy at the counter if they would just replace the tire completely at this point. He said no and said I was trying to take advantage of them. I purposely dropped the rim and tire off that morning and gave these guys all day to patch my tire. So I wouldn't be an inconvenience in such tough times. Guess the counter guy went to call his boss to tell on me because he thought I was trying to take advantage of them. Counter guy came back in and said would I like a new tire as the technician is just wrapping up the complicated tire. I said of course I want a new tire. We have been going to this shop for years and have always received awesome service. Brad is honest and presents cost saving options. Recently, we took my 2007 Suzuki in for repair and they could not get the part from the usual suppliers. The car needed a connector, however Suzuki only would sell the whole harness, which would have been a more costly job. Instead they rebuilt the connector and fixed the problem. The car is working great and a lot of money was saved. They could have easily went with the more costly part and charged us a whole lot more.
