Wasn't a big deal but it was an inconvenience and without even whining or asking, they gave me a discount on the work done. I picked up a nail while driving through a construction zone. I was at Tires Plus when they opened at 7 AM and drove away at 7:40 with a repaired tire.The employees were friendly and courteous. The waiting area was clean, comfortable and stocked with magazines and coffee. To top it off, the service charge was quite reasonable. I realized my back tire was flat, and needed to find a shop that was open at a convenient time (which is how I stumbled upon Tires Plus.) I am often nervous when going to auto shops being that I am a young woman who is, as unfortunate as it sounds, stereotypically clueless when it comes to auto repairs. I always fear that I will be taken advantage of, and/or feel forced into purchasing unnecessary car products. All I knew was that I had a flat tire, and needed to get a repair. My technician at the Tires Plus Oak Creek location, Matt, was fantastic! He wasn't condescending in any way, and he thoroughly explained my issue so I understood exactly how he was going about the repair, and how to avoid tire problems in the future. Had tires and rotated and balanced. tech never put back the wheel lock left it rolling free in the truck of the car which was making a noise only reason i knew he didn't put it back. dropped ice scrapper and bottle of soda into compartment with of spare tire. Didn't put emergency brake on when parking the car and it is a manual. read more

I was driving through West Allis and heard the awful, wub wub wub wub from the passenger side of the car. Oh, shoot, I'm getting a flat and I don't have a spare. I really didn't want to get fleeced by a towing company, so I stopped at Kwik Trip and filled up with air. About 5 more miles passed, and I heard wub wub wub. Luckily, I made it to Clarke on 27th street. I filled up with air again. I recalled seeing Tires Plus down the street so I made one final push and pulled in to the parking lot. I watched my tire exhale one last time, and then it died. I made it without a tow, yes!! I realize this review has nothing to do with Tires Plus at this point, however, it does set the stage for my distrust of anything related to car repairs. I expected a recommendation of a set of 4 tires, with all of the bells and whistles, like rain guard or snow shield or no skid or self repairing (is there such a thing), but I was surprised when the manager called me with the results of the inspection. They were only recommending that I buy 1 tire, and it was way less than I expected. I believe that the people running this place are honest and truly care about meeting the customers' needs. They want repeat customers and it shows. read more

While putting new tires on our Jetta the tech lost grip of the compressor hose and it flung around banging our car up from bumper to bumper on one side. They did not offer an apology or explanation and were very flippant in telling us to just get an estimate. We got an estimate the next day $3600.00 plus a rental car for 3 days - and they lost it! In a days time they could not find our estimate!!!! We spent a day running that car around getting estimates and they could not manage to hang on to it. So we had to call around to get it refaxed. The inconvenience was bad enough, and we can understand accidents happen. But to have no regard or for what they had done is unacceptable. I will never go there again! read more

Don't go to Tires Plus!! They are ridiculously over priced and they try to tell you that there are things wrong with you car that really aren't broken. I went there because they did a good job with my husband's car but, they totally ripped me off. They tried telling me I needed new rotors when I recently had them replaced! They even wanted to charge me double for new rotors than the place I actually had them done! I think they try to take advantage of women because they think women are stupid and don't know any better about car repairs. read more

1st off i went there with a small coolant leak and a noise coming from the front of the engine. Tires plus said it was my water pump. 350 dollars later i still have a coolant leak and the noise. I replaced the radiator "the leak" and the a/c compressor "the noise" by myself. So i payed for a water pump i didn't need. Now i bring it in for an a/c charge for 150 dollars. I told my wife they may try to rip us off again. I get the phone call that my compressor is not working. "I just put a new one in". They want to charge me another 100 dollars labor plus parts to fix it. Now we are up to 290 dollars. I told then no ill be in to pick up the car. The man behind the counter tells me we checked all the fuses and thats fine so could be the compressor or a switch. First thing i check is the switch when i get home and it's fine. I check the 20amp fuse and its blown. I replaced the fuse and the compressor works fine. So they lied about the fuse and they would have charged me 100 dollars for a 2 dollar fuse or worst case a compressor. Do not trust these guys. So what would have costed 290 dollars or more only cost 50 bucks doing it yourself. They knew the fuse was bad remember they checked it. They are a ripoff intentionally or they just have incompetent mechanics. Better Business Bureau will be contacted. read more
