Today, I went in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. This took 1 hour and 40 minutes. By the time I got home (15minutes), my truck would not start. They did not put the cap back on the air filter. When we called to speak to the manager, he said I will talk to my employee, that is it nothing more. I've been here twice. Once to patch a hole in my tire the second which was more recent to see what was wrong with my car. I originally made an apt even though I wasn't sure what was wrong. When I got there I explained what was happening and they said they would take a look to let me know what it is before they do anything. It ended up being my tires. I got two new tires and was only there for about an hour. Everyone was really helpful and explained everything that was going. These guys all knew what they were doing! As long as I'm in the Orlando area, I will be returning here if anything is wrong with my car! read more

I have been going to this location for several years. They are not necessarily the cheapest in the area, but they are always efficient, friendly, and trustworthy. The last time I was there they ended up running behind by almost an hour after the promised time for my car to be ready. Even though the service I was there for was not really eligible for their 1 hour or less promise, they still gave me the free oil change and $59 dollars off (promotion is 59 minutes or less for new tires or $59 off). read more

I was in a pinch to get my front brakes fixed and holy cow did they take advantage of me for it. I looked up all the parts they replaced and what they cost after the work was done, and everything was marked up at least 100%. Talked to 2 mechanics afterwards and both said they would've done the job for near half price. These folks robbed me and I will never go there again. Could've just got another car for what they charged me. So much regret. read more

LET ME JUST SAY WHAT A GREAT TEAM WORKS AT THIS TIRES PLUS !! first i had thought the manager was this young man who greeted me and my wife name was frank. He made us feel great and satisfied with our time being there. He was especially honest with us with what was wrong and also took the time to explain to us so we had a better understanding. Young man knows what he's doing ! very respectful, i would recommend if you go here for even a simple oil change talk to frank he will help you out the best of his ability. If the manager does't trust his mechanics, why should you? Our family has been going to Tires Plus on Kirkman Rd Orlando since they opened, roughly 20 years. We have seen the best and worst of Tires Plus, and recently have seen Tires Plus improve in the management, and employees over the past 5-6 years to a truly well run machine. Then came Bradley Thompson their new store manager. Many of the old faces have gone, and in our first interaction with Bradly he called me a lier, and his mechanic untrustworthy, because he could be in collusion with me. This is a 8+ year employee with a excellent record. We chose to leave and let Bradly at his suggestion call the former store manager and "check out our story", Bradly never did call us back, when I called him the following week he had a new tune, show me the paperwork and i'll give you a credit or a refund. I called Dave Perry, Tires Plus's regional manager 561-239-2806 and explained the situation to him and received the same, we don't trust you, show us the paperwork. In the meantime our daughter went in with her 2008 Toyota Camry, and had an oil change done, and had her Camry looked over. According to Tires Plus on Kirkman Rd Orlando, the Camry needed wiper blades, an air filter, a break flush, a transmission service, coolant flush, new hoses, belts, had (3) warped rotors - replace rotors or cut them, plus front brake pads, AND the right front strut was leaking and needed to be replaced. She paid for the oil change and came home. We took the Camry into Central Florida Toyota on OBT, we have used Cerri Perce as a service advisor for a number of years and have found her knowledgeable, honest and professional. She took in the Camry and had it inspected by Toyota mechanics. The found the one front rotor was warped from a brake caliper that was sticking and would not allow the brake pad to fully retract. They cut the rotors and replaced the front pads for $159. I also had the do a throttle body cleaning because of a rougher then normal idle. The car showed no engine codes. The front strut was "weeping" not leaking and had no loss of function. This front strut replacement if needed, would have been just under 1,000.00 @ Toyota. Cerri said; her dealership doesn't even keep these struts in their parts stock because they just don't go bad. PS; the air filters and wiper blades were just changed by me about 3 months before we went in for service, so it is unknown why Tires Plus on Kirkman Rd Orlando wanted to replace them again. And the transmission service, the Camry has a sealed transmission, which does not require a transmission fluid change, so what could Tires Plus possibly do? I STRONGLY suspect the Manager gets a kickback on the service that goes through his shop. The more dollars you pay Tires Plus on Kirkman Rd Orlando, the more money Bradly takes home. If you do chose to go to the Tires Plus on Kirkman Rd Orlando, be smart and get a second opinion before spending any money. Or better yet... These are my experiences and my views, take from them what you will. read more

My car broke down and will not run and am at the mercy of having to tow my vehicle. This location would not help me by providing me an approximate quote for a specific service so that I could then have it towed to this location. I understand, it could be a little more, but help a consumer out so they are not having to tow a vehicle from one location to another to another. read more

DO NOT COME HERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A WOMAN ALONE. They will assume you know nothing about cars and try to rip you off. I came here out of desperation and fear on a Sunday with a flashing check engine light and was told my car needed almost $2600 dollars worth of repairs. When i dropped it off the guy at the front wouldn't make eye contact with me while I was explaining what was wrong with my car, and then proceeded to try and sell me a credit card before he even had my key in his hand. Suheily was who I spoke to on the phone after they ran the diagnostic: told me my car was basically not safe to drive. She implied that rear brakes were failing (???) and causing what ended up being a simple spark plug and coil replacement, which I got done the next day at a trustworthy establishment for less than $300. They also failed to mention that my back tires were dry rotted, though of course, on my estimate they wanted to replace all 4 tires but with no explanation. I don't know where all these positive reviews came from, unless these people have so much money to spend they don't care about what's actually happening to their vehicles. Or unless i was targeted as a young woman and everyone else gets their "trustworthy family service for a great price." I can literally walk home from this place and I will never return. I've told everyone i know with a car to avoid this place like the plague, which in Orlando is everyone. I can only guess that they are trying to take advantage of stranded tourists. 535 Auto is a great place, or even the Tuffy's down the street. But please don't go here. RIP OFF ALERT ! went in with a nail in a tire, Travis greeted me professionally, took my info, reached over the counter, shook my hand and said we will patch it on the inside and have you out in no time. 30 minutes later he calls me and tells me that it can't be fixed my only option is to BUY a $285 new tire. I knew the nail was not near the sidewall and left. I went to my Ford dealer, never said a word other than while it's here go ahead and change oil, rotate ,and all new wiper blades. 30 minutes later, Mr R. your car is ready, I spoke to the tech and he laughed and confirmed that the nail was no where near the sidewall and said " they clearly tried to rip you off ". The only Tires Plus location I will use!! I pass at least a dozen other locations to get to this one, but the staff here is unparalleled to anywhere else. Travis M. is by far the most helpful associate and will always take the time to explain and answer any questions I have. I'm always in and out (mostly oil changes, but I've also purchased tires) - and they don't mess around! What's better than friendly, efficient service?! This place is like crap, they treat you like s***. No level of customer service or repairs. They listen to you, like they understand what your saying. They act like they fix your car and send you on your way like everything is all done and didn't even do 1/2 the job that was supposed to get done in the first place. I hope no one ever comes to this location, you will be better off without extra headaches. Go to the Kissimmee location; it may seem far from where your at, but they treat you like a respected customer and the wait time is no longer than 45 mins-1hr, if you go before 10am. read more

I called to get a price on a tire, and they confirmed that they had it in stock. When I got there, I waited a long time to actually be attended. When the salesman came out, he told me that he would not put only one tire on the car. He would have to change two to try to sell me on an extra tire. The other tire was still new with 90% tread, so there was no way I was replacing a new tire with another one! He never mentioned on the phone that it was mandatory to change two tires. I immediately went to a local competitor and got ONE new tire without any issues. read more

Sad to write as the customer service I experienced upon my first visit was great. Typically, they tried to oversell on the tires, air filter, etc. What I did not expect is to receive my vehicle back with malfunction. I noticed immediately and placed a call. When I returned the customer service was not so great as they felt I was pointing the finger. Truth of the matter is my vehicle which was owned for 5 months, practically new, now has issues it did not have prior to my visit. My car now has irreperable technical issues and I apparently have no leg to stand on as they simply stated there was nothing they could do about it. Now I have to make a trek to the dealer and try to explain to them and hope they can fix. Until then, I have to live with a subpar vehicle that I highly treasured and adored prior to my visit and potentially dish out more $$$ for something that I thought could be trusted by a company who specializes in these issues. read more

They'll do the job for the highest price in town. The staff is nice BUT, look elsewhere to get big jobs done. I was charged over $500 for a shifter cable to be installed. After looking it up online, I saw it was under 70$ for the part, so their labor cost is UNREAL. They then quoted me almost $900 for a new radiator because mine had a crack. After saying "hell no", I ordered one online for $45, then found a friend who installed it in less than 2 hours. Be careful, especially young ladies or people who know little about cars (such as myself) because they will take you for everything you've got. When they explain the breakdown of their price, it simply does not make sense as to why the labor cost is so high. They also do not take outside parts, so finding one half the price and bringing it in wont work as they insist of ordering the most pricy one that they choose. Find a different non-commercial place. The only thing this place is good for is an oil change, which is still 10$ less at Walmart. read more
