My son scheduled an oil change. When he showed up he was told they wouldn't be able to get to his car because they were without power for several hours & fell behind. His appointment was after 5 PM. No one contacted him to tell him that. He asked for a discount for basically wasting his time. The manager agreed to a $60 oil change. I took the car for him at the scheduled time the next day. It took 2 hours to do the oil change. Oscar wouldn't honor the agreement that the manager made the day before. He told me it was because he wanted synthetic oil & he was giving him the online discount. When I spoke to my son, he said the manager already knew he wanted synthetic oil & he did in fact agree to the $60 price. It's not okay to waste people's time, then renege on an agreed upon price. Worst customer service! Had 2pm appointment, arrived at 138pm, was told it would take an hour to get my car fixed. It is now 357pm and they just started working on my car. Never received an update. I finally asked the front desk attendent what was the delay and was told he didn't realize there were two cars in front of me. read more

i have been buying tires at Tires plus for at least 15 years, but no more. customer service quoted a price less tax using the words "all In". but At checkout they add other charges for me this is at the very least a omission. they also take on fees without telling you such as the tire warranty. i adise getting a quote in writing before you drip off the car read more

I have been a long-time customer (25 years) but I am a former customer now. At my last inspection (June 2023), I requested and paid for an oil change and new wiper blades. With an oil change, they are supposed to top off/fill the wiper fluid. That didn't happen and that's not the first time that happened. Also, I was charged for new wiper blades and installation but the wiper blades were definitely not replaced. Accordingly, I am taking my business elsewhere. read more

Do not come here. I went online and set an appt and picked out tires. Said I would need to leave car for the day for TWO TIRES. Needed tires for my old Hyundai Accent ( I know... ) Went on-line, made an appointment, and went over there. They looked at the tires, got the info, etc. They had to order tires in from the warehouse and that happened very quickly. Got a call a little later that the car was done. They let me know that my front brake pads were a little low, but they didn't try to upsell me or anything. Good service, good price, great experience. Solid 5 star rating. read more

Called tires plus and spoke the Eric, I explained to him I was smelling radiator smell every time i turned off the car. I then explained I wanted them to do a pressure test to see if there was a leak anywhere. They did the test and nothing came back as a leak but they did see another problem with a small head gasket leak. Thank you so much for seeing this problem, I'm having the work done this coming Tuesday. These people are disgusting.. They will definitely try to over charge you for parts and labor. They charged me $450 for a starter plus $200 to put it in. Go online and check out what starters cost at Pep Boys or Auto Zone. They only charge $150 for actual starter. So in other words, Tire Plus charged me 3 times the normal purchase price.!!!!! read more

Went there a few times because of an emergency (they are across the street from me) and not once did I leave feeling like I didn't get completely ripped off. We have used this locations many times in the past with no problems. But after our last experience we won't go back. I can understand everyone is experiences workplace shortages right now but when you make an appointment in advance and then are told they don't have anyone to do the repairs it is frustrating. When a district manager called me she told me "not to use the online service to make an appointment". I was told even though we booked an appointment for inspection and brakes and received conformation the store was only notified of the inspection (and didn't have someone a available to do the brakes). She also told me this was a know issue and they are working on upgrading the computer system. Like I said I haven't had issues in the past and maybe they can upgrade their computer system and not have these issues in the future. I would advise to call the store or stop In and make sure they know what services you need completed since having a confirmation email does not mean they have the same information. read more

I have gone here for years. I just went for inspection and an oil change. They changed tires and control arms. The next few days it seemed okay then I see oil drips all in my driveway and my engine light is on. I am so mad right now. I never ever had a stain or drop in the driveway. I was approved for a large amount of credit during my visit so I feel very suspicious that I now have a brand new issue within a couple days after I got my car back. read more

My car overheated near Franklin Mills and I left my car here overnight. I called them in the morning to clarify what I had written on the key-drop slip, and they were already checking my car. They called me back a short time later and gave me an estimate of the costs of the problem and the time needed to fix it. Both estimates were met exactly as they had communicated to me and that was more than fair considering the dire situation I was in. I have been going here for years and recived terrfic service. yesterday i went for an oil change with my 2017 dodge and after it came out of the shop has the check engine light on (It didnt when i dropped it off) i approchaed the cashier and he srugged his shoulders at me and said "oh well". I had amechanic check the error code and it read "Implausible Engine Temperature Signal Received" which is directly related to the oil change. This brand store is owned by Bridgestone/Firestone, they also own Mr Tire, Firestone, and now apparently Pep Boys. Their prices are fair and they get you out in decent time but doing a major service might be a bit much for them. Their strengths are tires, alugnments and preventative maintanence (oil changes, fluid flushes,etc) They sell name brands as well as some private labels produced by Bridgestone. read more

Was a customer here for years. Over the last two years have had multiple issues with incomplete service. Most recently in February had an oil change and tire rotation. Broke down on the side of the road two weeks ago and was told4 of 5 lug nuts wee missing and stems broken off, almost lost my tire and could have flipped my truck and caused a serious accident. Coat over $600 to fix by my new mechanic because when I called tires plus they would not accept responsibility even though they were the last ones to work on the vehicle. During trials it was discovered that all four tires were loose. Very disappointed in the quality of service and lack of responsibility after being a customer there for more than five years. read more

Just stopped by here after a sams club stop. A piece of cover from underneath the driver side of my van had popped out and was scraping along the road (making a very loud scraping sound while driving!) I pulled into tires plus and was greeted by Mike who directed me to Josh to assist me. Josh was able to put my van up on the lift and zip tie the fallen piece up. Anything helped! We have the piece ordered and on its way but the sound was embarrassing and annoying actually. So this absolutely helped!! The guys said it was no charge. I was seen and out within 15 minutes! I have purchased a 1998 volvo s 70 i have done a lot of repairs from the pcv oil trap and the mass airflow sensor. I have since driven it over 400 miles. The readiness monitors have still not set. I have done all emission repairs and this shop does not offer emission waivers horrible. read more

He would do everything he could to help you out, find you the best deal on tires and get you in and out of there in accordance to your busy schedule. Jason was hard working and friendly. He was also knowledgeable and made you feel like a respected customer. Jason has since gone to their Warminster location. I have now dealt with Mike (a nice guy) and JIM - not so great! Jim always sounds very stressed and irritated. He was unable to work with me on price and he came across as annoyed when I was asking questions about the work that needed to be done. I dropped my vehicle off for a simple oil change and a tire rotation. After I got home I realized that over $300 of my work tools that were in the back seat were no longer there. I tried to contact the manager and all I got was the run around. They said they would look into it and call me back. They never called me back. I had to go back down to the store and the manager tried to say that his guys would never do something like that yet I was still missing a bunch of tools that were there when I dropped my vehicle off. Then he said maybe they just moved them. Theres no reason to move anything in my back seat for an oil change and tire rotation. I was born in the daytime but it wasn't yesterday .Then he tried to hide behind some sign that says they weren't responsible for anything lost or stolen. So basically if I get a job at tires plus I can rob customers blind and nothing will be done about it. I also discovered that the shop doesn't even have any cameras anywhere. Who, in this day and age, doesn't have cameras in their business? Theyre responsible for peoples vehicles worth tens of thousands of dollars and they don't even have cameras!!! I guess that's so they don't have to reimburse anyone for theft or damage since they don't have it on camera. So, I finally talked to the regional manager since the district manager was unavailable. He said they would reimburse me but the district manager would have to do it. I never heard from the district manager. I had went down to the store again to get the number of the district manager and they gave me a number that isn't even a tires plus location. So, to sum it up don't leave anything of value in your car if you plan to get service here. It might not be there when you pick it up then your just out of luck. read more

The guy that works the counter is awesome. Jason, he will take very good care of you. You can tell he likes his job. The problem is the mechanics. They do not know how to deal with people very well. They came off to me like (insert your obscenity here) . I felt as though they wanted to take advantage of my money and being I am a female dealing with a car situation that goes against me as well. I came in there with a brake fluid leak. I just wanted that problem fixed.No more and no less. once they inspected my car and looked at the issue for a $10.79 charge. A mechanic came to get me and handed me safety glasses and brought me in the back to show what they discovered with my car.He was accompanied by another mechanic. They both carried on how rusty the underside of my car was showing me this and that chipping and rusting,telling me my car should never have passed the inspection. Then they showed me my brake lines that were leaking and deteriorating.They told me if I want the brake lines fixed it would cost around $500. Then they told me if I should get anther car for what I'm going to pay. First of all I know my car is rusty.The car is a 99 Mercury Sable with over 166grand on it. It's obviously not going to look brand new. Secondly where am I going to find a newer car for $500.The one jerk replied Craigslist. Ok, and on craigslist a car for $500, you're lucky if it has a motor and runs. Unbelievable! So I'm in tears with what they're telling me. First of all I didn't even have the money to pay for this repair,never mind going out to buy another car. So once I found a way to get this paid for. I told them to fix the brakes.Then they weren't clear about how many needed to be replaced. They told me two lines had to be repaired and the car would be ready the next day.ok So then the next day they took forever to make contact with me and actually they contacted my financier. When I finally got word about my car they claimed a third brake line started leaking after they replaced the first two. So now they would have to keep my car a third day to repair the other brake. So after taking two days off from work and now I'd have to take a third day off,I was pretty upset. The only good thing was this garage claimed they would replace the other brake line free of charge being it happened on their watch. unbelievable. So finally i got my car back. It seems to run fine so far. I just feel they inconvenienced me and I think it's ridiculous it took them 3days to fix this situation and they charged so much to do it. If I could have taken the car to my private mechanic I would have but the car would not have made it there. He would have done it for a lot less and I would have had my car back in a day as opposed to 3 days. I do not suggest taking your car here unless you want to be overcharged and stranded without a car for days. read more

NO! NO! Find another tire center!! I was quoted one price for new tires and then told another after they already had my car. I was told my battery was low, yet it was 2 months old. I left and within an hour I had a flat, that they stated was not their fault. I had to go back and have them replace the air sensor on my tire; which they stated would have been $180. but they would cover it for me. The following day I went to start my car and it would not start because the battery cable was completely off. Not a good experience at all read more
