I had an appointment for noon . I arrived 10-15 minutes early. i stood at the counter watching the manager (Oscar) sit behind the glass at a computer for about 5 minutes. finally an employee (Massimo) came & took my information. Just then Oscar appeared from the back & said I had to leave the car & he'd get to it by 7pm. I informed him of my appointment & he said that's to bad it'll be 7pm. I told him that hie was very Rude & his attitude was Extremely unprofessional. I've had a business' for 26 years & if my employee acted like this he would definitely be looking for a new Job. I won't be back & this will be re posted as a review elsewhere. I failed to acknowledge that the previos day the gentleman (Rick) that set up my appointment was very helpful & informative letting mr know they are short staffed & my work would take approximately 1 1/2 hours. also, at the store Massimo was peasant. My real problem was with the RUDE, ARROGANT, OBNOXIIOUS store manager Oscar. If I could give this shop a 0 STAR I would. I've never met any mechanics as uneducated as these guys. If your looking for a good scam this is the place to start because before getting my tires changed I took the lug nuts off and they were perfectly fine however mid tire change they asked to replace the lug nuts however, me and my fiancé said no and then they changed asking to forcing by going in the back and stripping my lug nuts and bringing them back completely destroyed. I would have pictures if they would've let me keep my lug nuts but they got extremely rude and would not let me take a part that they didn't pay for home. They then changed my bill to almost 2,000 for a tire change. Also we were told they had all the parts for my car however, a 12pm appointment turned into 5 hours and they sat in the garage goofing off the whole time because they needed to "order the parts." All I asked was for a tire changed yet they wanted to get a good look under my hood and inside my car for some shady reason. Good thing I took all my valuables out These people also will treat you like your scum of the earth even though they need to scam us so they can keep their store running Please whatever you do find another mechanic shop! My girlfriend went here for new tires based on my recommendation. The tire price was $10 a tire above the competition but she / we want to give local business the sale. They never suggested she have the tires aligned until after they road tested the car. The mess they left on the wheels took both of us hours to clean off. I'm going to need tires soon and I'm not going here. I've been using Tire Plus since the mid 90's, in the last 10 - 15 years, the service has really deteriorated. read more

Had an unseen tire issue after work, so I popped in praying they could fit me in on a busy Friday. I was warmly greeted by the manager. Despite his wearing a mask, you could see the genuine smile in his eyes. He was honest as to there being an hour plus wait before they could start my repair. As they're near several restaurants, that wait was not an issue. So I left the crowded waiting room and had a late lunch. When I returned my vehicle was ready. They performed the routine inspection with recommendations, and I appreciated his not trying to push other repairs on me today. He reviewed my needs and having known I need another tire and front end alignment prior, I'll be choosing this location due to their friendly staff. It's always nice when an unseen repair turns into a pleasant experience. As a result, I'll be back next week for the rest of the work I need. Also, they have a phone and computer charging station, but you'll need to bring your own charger if you have a newer iPhone or laptop. read more

Caught a flat on my way back from Miami coming from a cruise. We went to 2 different places before coming here. Walmart stated it would take up to 3 hours. The second tire choice took the opportunity to overcharge because I was in a bind. I called this place the nice man said they would get me in immediately and were $50 cheaper than the other place. The staff her is a fun crowd and from my limited experience aren't about taking advantage. We were in and out in less than 30 min. This is great customer service for a person in a bind. So I took my car for an oil change. And the next day on the way to work at 4:45am my car is making a lot of noise do to the fact that when they did the oil change they never bothered to put anything back. All the cover plates on the bottom of the engine bay were loose rattling and I had to miss work. Took it back to them and all I got back was a we apologize. Oh so that takes care of me missing a days work! Screw you guys. Tire kingdom is right across the street that's my new spot. Good thing I wasn't getting my tires changed could have lost a tire on my hour commute and we apologize were not going to be enough. Irresponsible as hell if I could give a zero star I would. Today my family member went to the Tires Plus on Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte to have a tire repaired. She picked up a screw on a tire that was only three weeks old, it's stinks, but it happens. The first problem is she waited 5 1/2 hours to get a tire plugged. Worse, after the long wait, she found her belongings were stolen while the car was in their care! I wish she had thought to call the police. She may have stopped this thief from doing this again, but she was so upset that they seemed unwilling to look into this, she just left. This warranty repair was very costly! I would caution you to find another business for your auto needs. I only rated this one star because you can't choose zero. read more

i come back to my local tires plus with every car ive had for like 15 years now. they are honest and trustworthy and reasonably priced and they stand by their work. my cars are always treated well and the staff all know me by name and vice versa. The manager is an awesome guy. they service my mom's cars and my uncles and friends. I'll always recommend them. I'm switching to an electric car but will come back to tires when brakes and anything else they can help me with on it. read more

After getting price quotes from my local Ford dealer and one other place, I stopped into Tires Plus and their prices were lower by $300 due to a buy 3, get one free promotion. I made an appointment for the next day to get them installed. They were very busy that day and weren't able to get my truck into the shop until 20 minutes or so past my appointment time. The manager on duty was extremely apologetic and offered a free alignment for making me wait. This was an extremely generous offer and much appreciated. read more

22 dollars to look at your car. Bleading the breaks is 80 dollars (20 dollars in parts???) sold me 20 dollars of breakline and fittings for 60 dollars, 310 dollars labor for less than 2 hours work. If you are going here, bring your own lube because you are going to get shafted hard. When I complained, he said he was saving me money. Making breaklines is by the hour when I got the quote since lines have to be made so not a set price but when I get the vehicle, it is by the book and not by the hour... they will say anything to rob your wallet... they spliced my breaks and missed the complete line replacement quote by less than 20 dollars... saving me money??? After a long argument, he dropped the price to 435 dollars for a 300 dollar job even at the 112 dollars an hour they charge for labor. read more

Shady, in my opinion. First, they gave me an "out the door" price quote over the phone for two tires. When I showed up, the counter guy said they had a sale going on and he could save me fifty dollars if I would buy Firestones instead of their house brand. What he didn't say was that the Firestones were $100 more expensive, but on sale for $50 off. In other words, my cost would actually be $50 more than the quote. Next - two hours later - I was checking out and went over the bill. They had added on a $21 charge for a one-year road hazard warranty that no one had ever asked me if I wanted. In my opinion, road hazard coverage is just wasted money, but tacking it on without asking is just plain unethical business. read more

Arrived on a Sunday for a 9 am appointment. I was there at 8:45am. The employees where still arriving. Went to follow another gentleman in who was wearing full camp. I thought he was another customer. No, he was not he was an employee. So when he went in I followed. But, had the door slammed in my face. Then, I was informed when I was allowed in that they would inform me if anything else was wrong. I told them they will not find anything wrong because I just got my car back from Ford in Venice. An hour and a half later that same gentleman brought me out to the garage (Where there is a sign that said No Customers Past This Point.)and tried to get me to stick my hand into the strut. Made an appointment for tire rotation a day in advance, took in my truck and was told it would be about one hour. I went back two and a half hours later, the truck had not been moved, no phone call to say it would not be ready, no sorry we will get right on it. Just an excuse the bays were all full. Then why make a reservation and why tell me it would be done in an hour. Sad that no one cared enough to even call or tell me that they were too busy and cancel when I came in. read more

Every time I come here they are friendly, knowledgeable, fair, and prompt. I never feel like they are trying to sell me stuff I don't need or want, but are actively taking care of what I do need.
