They have a sign with the prices as you pull up to the door with prices that price does not include a oil filter.. when was the last time you had your oil changed with out a filter, 10.00 for a filter added on if you need more the 5 quarts it's $10.00 a quart. They send to a lobby they don't show you your oil levels after the oil. That just leaves you to hope they put oil in and the right amount. read more

Copy of my Google review: I'm leaving my previous review here just to show this isn't a one off. I've been going here for years. Tommy ran a great ship and was honest, kind, and knowledgeable. But apparently, they've left the ship to the lady that used to run the cash register and whoa what a difference. Had the police called on me today because they decided to give me one price and charge me more without telling me, after it was already done. I understood the guy made a mistake, he didn't know the car and gave me the wrong price, but it fell on her to make sure I knew the cost before they changed a special oil filter, of which I'm not even sure what was special about it because nobody explained anything to me. She didn't nor did the other guy, she verified in front of me that the employee didn't tell me it would be more. Rather than apologize for the misunderstanding, she flew into a "there's bigger things going on in America right now than this", shoved money in my face to attempt to act like she was doing me a favor (literally opened the drawer and handed me $20 when I hadn't even paid yet, I should have walked off with a free oil change and $20 but I'm not that kind of person), then when I gave her the money back and tried to give her my credit card she said it was free and to just leave, and when I asked for any kind of receipt saying that it was free so I wouldn't be arrested for stealing once I left, she called the police on me. Then, I love this part, threatened to prosecute me if I posted anything online or in social media. She refused to give me her name, refused to provide me with a managers name, saying she pays the bills there and no one was above her, refused to give corporates number. I explained to the police why I hadn't left, and they understood. They also laughed when I told them she said she'd prosecute me for a bad review online. He informed me she can't do that and I am free to leave any kind of review I like. So here it is. A simple mistake on one guys part by misquoting a price and I ended up with a free oil change and the police called on me. Smdh, they need to get Tommy back or hire someone else to run this shop. Horrible attitude on her and from how frazzled she was, clearly not ready to run a shop on her own. Review from 10/2017: the guys at this place continue to have great customer service. The general manager here, Tommy, is top notch. I never feel pressured into services or feel like I'm being lied to. If you spend 5 minutes watching you can see the GM is on top of his guys and is adamant about quality customer service and services. read more

If you want a courteous and helpful oil change this is not the place to go. The guys in the shop are great but the front desk gal needs a head adjustment. Won't go back especially at $97.15 for an oil change only!!!! Don't need her rudeness! Yes they accept credit cards IF their machines are working! No, they do not tell you when their machines are down when you call. Check, cash, or they write down your credit card number with all the info from your card then you get to make another trip back to the Grease Monkey to pick up your receipt when they finally run the card!. You get no type of written verification of how much they are charging you:-) No appointment necessary but beware of the front desk gal! There are so many more places in town to go for an oil change. read more

My car decided to inform me that it needed an oil change an hour away from where I reside. I picked Grease Monkey because I loved the name and am so glad I did. The entire staff was incredible, so friendly! The owner made sure I wasn't bored while waiting on my car (he's funny!). They gave me a very fair price. Wish you could rate a place with ZERO stars because this place is ZERO and less than zero. Ladies don't let these monkeys touch your car, especially the tires. New care require you to reset the tire monitoring system and they can't do it. Therefore when your warning light comes on saying the drivers rear tire is low it will be wrong because the tire which WAS in that position will be the one whose monitor is going off. The manager is a a real jerk and the owner only cares about taking your money. read more

Service member was rude when I did not wish to have synthetic oil put kin my car for additional money. He said Chevy insisted we put synthetic in the car even though we have had it for two years and always use conventional. He refused service and we left. They dont put the proper amount of oil in your car. I took 2 vehicles for an oil change, they are both fairly new, (SUV and a Van) and don't burn oil. About 2 weeks after the oil change both vehicles needed 3 quarts added. This is the second time this happened and I don't think it's a coincidence. read more

The absolute best experience at a oil change facility I've ever had. The manager made small talk but not too much. They are extremely fast and yet don't skimp on thoroughness. We first used them in Murray,KY 2 years ago and we were impressed then as well. But this location is absolutely impressive to how clean it is the speed at which they take care of the service, to the friendliness we experienced. Was going there for the last 3 years....best price in town but I now know why. Every time I went I was shorted 1/2 Quart of oil. They shorted every customer this was big time money savings for them. When I brought this up the manager got very defensive with me which told me he was doing this knowingly. The last time I went about 1 month ago or so (and my last time I will go there) I came home and checked oil and it was 1.5 Quarts LOW! I called and Manager told me to drive it for a day or two then check it again...I SAID "WHAT" ...NEVER BEEN BACK. FAIR WARNING. I also always wondered if they even changed the filter...I sometimes doubted it. I also reported this to the main headquarters and they did not even seem concerned! I will never return!! Went to Grease Monkey on 8/28 to get an oil change, tire rotation and fix a tire losing air pressure. Instead, I got an air filter and (hopefully) an oil change. Altho, I'm really not sure as the milage for my next service date is 772 miles ago and its only been 2 days. The employee couldnt find the Scion owner because the vehicle he was working on was a KIA SOUL!! They told me they rotated my tires front to back, and according to the receipt they checked the tire pressure to 35psi (33 is recommended).... and were recommending a tire rotation. Well, the tire pressure in the front left was 17psi... and that is the same tire that was in the same spot when I got there. So... DID I receive an oil change? Did the Scion? Because they obviously didnt look at my current milage, check the air pressure, fill the air, remove the nail, or rotate the tires. WTH. P.S. Tommy, the manager was the person who recommended this on my last visit, also who I spoke to on the phone three days prior, AND was on site and rang me up this day as well. read more

Also if that so was the case there would be many others coming forth with this statement seeing the store manager has been there 2 yrs. And the head manager been there also for 4 yrs. And everyone knows these gentlemen and know they could come back for free top off and or check and would be handled and well taken care of. As you can read reviews below many say great words. Horrible experience. I brought my Kia in for a simple high performance hose. I was told it would cost 220.00 and take an hour. Fine. An hour later I was told no one in the state of Florida has this hose they need to order it and they would call me in morning when it comes in. They never called I called them at noon they said yes it's here I dropped off my car they said it would be done in an hour. I came back an hour in half later wasn't even started they said another hour. I came went home called to see if it was done they said yes 20 minutes I went back in 30 minutes they told me they stripped the hose to the and couldn't fix on Saturday. They said they were at fault they would come In On Sunday I drove bye no one came in they called me at 3:00 on Monday it was finally done they had the nerve to tell me I was lucky the didn't charge me fixing the stripped part. And charged me the entire 220.00 kept my car for 3 days. Never go here again read more
