We ordered the Thanksgiving feast with sliced turkey. It was delicious. Everything was very fresh. Ordering and pick up was a breeze. I've had them cater for a company event and a private event in the past. Their food and service has always been outstanding. Tiscareno Catering is professionally managed and did a great job at our venue. The food was excellent and they did set up all the tables very beautiful. Having the catering company handle everything from the food to the table set up was magnificent and really took a load off the bridal party and everyone involved. I couldn't have asked for anyone better to help with the production of my gorgeous wedding. Tiscareno Catering allows you to taste the food and full detail, and also provides references for wedding planning and cakes. Whatever you need, they will be there. I would definitely hire them again and am appreciative of everything that they did for our wedding. My husband and I got married one month ago (07/29/2022) and Gaby took part as our caterer and day of coordinator for our wedding ceremony and reception. She is so well organized and detailed with her work, she also makes sure that every question we had was answered and even offered recommendations for things we had no idea to. For context, my husband and I are both the first to be married in our household so we did lots of the planning ourselves and were very nervous for the outcome once the day came. Thankfully, Gaby knew how to make everything simple for us yet elegant. She is kind and generous with her work, the food her and her staff make are delicious and have a lot to offer. Celebrated my husbands bday for approx 25 people. Went by reviews ordered pineapple Fresca, Mac n cheese, sausage & peppers, brisket and a few other appetizers. Everything was delicious and plenty of left overs. I ordered large sizes except mac n cheese & sautéed carrots 1/2 order pan size and still have left overs! Overall great experience and will use them again! PS. Sausage & peppers did not come with pasta so if we get it again will add pasta or make my own! read more

My work used Tiscareno's to cater for our holiday luncheon in December. The food was a huge disappointment. I had tried the catering from this place before and it was good but this was absolutely terrible. The food tasted bad and even looked gross. The sweet potatoes looked like they were in gelatin. The steak was dry, the chicken tasted terrible, even the au gratin potatoes tasted gross. I don't know what happened to this place but the food totally ruined the party. The salad was good and the desserts were okay. But overall very disappointed. read more

I recently booked Tiscareno's for a large event and all I can say is WOW! Everything was perfect! I dealt with Edward, and he was extremely easy to work with. They were timely and all staff worked well and looked professional. The food was very tasty and displayed well. They made a whole salmon and decorated it with cucumbers, capers, and shrimp. These folks were on our list of places to try and they recently offered an Easter Feast package. I ordered it via telephone, got a text asking to confirm... then a reminder text when payment was due. I confirmed the order on Friday for a Sunday pickup. I have to say, both people I spoke to on the phone were friendly, clear, detail-oriented, and made me feel that they wanted it to be a pleasant experience... even with all this social distancing stuff. So, I picked up the food at the agreed upon time... I did have to wait a bit... they seemed busy (and my potatoes weren't done). But, since I'd paid over the phone by CC, there was no contact needed. All my items were placed in the trunk of my car safely. And we all loved the food! Ribs, corn, potatoes, salad, rolls, cupcakes... plus bottled water and plates and utensils. All of the food tasted great. The whole family was in agreement! And it's hard to get a whole family to agree on anything. Gaby is truly amazing at what she does, my wife and I had our wedding on Aug, 26 2017 and it went off without a hitch. We had hired Gaby as our coordinator and for catering and she truly went above and beyond for us. She cares about the details, her and I spent hours talking about every single item and how exactly the big day was going to play out. She is very knowledgeable in all things wedding, she helped me plan a beautiful wedding for me and my wife. The food is also SOOO good, all of my guest were so happy and pleased with the food and the service her staff provided. We used Tiscerano's for our Mom's surprise 80th birthday party. From my first phone call until returning the catering items Edward & Gaby were fantastic. Edward helped us pick a menu that would work for our family. We had 20 guests and that crowd included children, teens, picky eaters and vegetarians. The sandwich and salad choices were perfect for an afternoon party, poolside! (The California Salad - AMAZING!! Big hit with everyone. The Caprese sandwiches were a super hit as well.) Gaby checked and double checked with us to make sure the menu was just as we wanted it on the Monday prior to our Friday party. Edward delivered the items and setup everything for us. It looked great! Everyone complemented us on how good the food was and how nice everything looked. Needed catering for a house party for about 100 people and everything went very well. Ordered Isla chicken thigh, BBQ beef brisket, Mac and cheese, tomato linguine, and CA salad - everyone was a fan! Tomato linguine and BBQ beef brisket went so fast I didn't even get a chance to have any! But there was plenty of food for everyone. Chicken was a little dry but that's how chicken goes. Everything went almost perfect, they were about an hour late - a phone notice would have been nice, and date on final contract was off but luckily it was caught in sufficient time. Overall everything went smoothly from start to finish (except for what was mentioned above). Gaby was very helpful in deciding what entree to order. Set-up and pick-up was seamless. This was our second time ordering from Tiscareno's so they are definitely our preferred caterer for non-asian food. read more

I had Tiscareno's Catering take care of our staff holiday breakfast for 75+ people. They did an AWESOME job! The had two chef's on-site to make made to order omelets, bacon, sausage, incredible breakfast potatoes with peppers and onions, scrambled eggs, all kinds of breads, pastries, fruits, and all different beverages. My staff LOVED it all....they were very professional, delivered exactly as I asked, and we had plenty left over to boot. I will use these guys again and will recommend them to others that I know. I probably shouldn't Yelp when angry, but I will never use this company again. Having the food arrive 15 minutes after the event has already begun (and 45 minutes after they were actually scheduled to arrive) is a huge no-no and embarrassing for the person who arranged for the catering (in this case, me). It is especially unforgivable when the company is only a couple miles away, there is no traffic at all, and you are in a building that is extremely easy to find with plenty of open parking spaces. And the driver never called me to direct him even though I called the company three times asking where he was. The only thing that gets them two stars instead of one is that their food and prices are pretty good. It's a shame - if they would actually show up on time, they would have gotten a lot more business from me and I would have referred them to others. But after this morning, I will never use them again. *UPDATE* It is now the end of the day and the manager/owner who I worked with to book this event has not even bothered to call me to apologize.
