Carne Asada Taco no guacamole
Jacqueline C.

Place has kids running around behind the counters with and in and out of the restaurant. Cashier gave lots of attitude and food was okay not great. Their Kids hitting other cars that are parked. The quesadillas have raw cheese not even melted and the carne asada tacos that were suppose to have guacamole are plain. No coming back. Don't recommend at all!

Carne asada chile relleno burrito

I first heard about Tita's taco shop on Taco Fiend's TikTok page and decided to give it a shot. I chose to get a Carne Asada chile relleno burrito. The taco fiend got a surf and turf chili relleno burrito with guacamole. There was a lot of Carne Asada in the burrito and the chile. Riano definitely changed up the flavors for me, but it seemed to be lacking something. Maybe it was the fact I didn't include guacamole. I definitely enjoyed the burrito but next time I come here, I will include the guacamole. Also, when I'm in the area and I stop by. I will definitely try out some of their other dishes.

California Burrito

The burritos were good. Not my favorite California burritos because they use potatoes instead of French fries. It also felt like it was missing some seasonings. The surf n turf burrito got great reviews I think the rice and beans? I'm not sure if there's beans in there but the rice was really good. The staff was nice but there limited seating in there. So if it's busy it gets uncomfortable. Not my favorite, but if you like shrimp and beef in your burritos this is a good one.

Surf N Turf Burrito so much flavor very filling.

I came to this place. I seen it on what Kev eats. I had very high expectations first and foremost. It's a very small restaurant with a pretty in-depth menu. I ordered the surf and turf it wasn't bad. It was very filling very heavy and had a lot of flavor but I disagree with Kev in the sense that I have had better. It's a good burrito, but I don't know if I would come back to try it again it just wasn't a wow factor to me. I guess onto the next hunt.

Horchata

I came here with my partner excited to try their Tio Taco Burrito Special since I love chile rellano, and it did not disappoint. When we came, we placed our order and our server was super kind. He gave us recommendations, and we followed through. Inside has some seating with lots of decor. We waited a few minutes before our burritos came with the horchata. We ate inside and the burritos were so flavorful. The meat was tender and every bite had a bit of everything. It is more of a dry than wet burrito, but the freshness and quality of the ingredients really stand out!

The Taco Fiend burrito

So I had been meaning to come here for quite sometime now and today was the day. I ordered the Taco Fiend Burrito (Tio Taco) as seen on TikTok and I must say it was absolutely delicious. The taco shop was very clean and customer service was on point. Definitely coming back to try some other items on the menu.

Texano Burrito
Norma M.

Service was good but food was disappointing. Surf and turf was bland and over filled with rice, not at all what I was expecting. The Texano Burrito was missing the pico, fries were somewhat stale. Fish taco did not have chipotle sauce and small thin strip of fish. Not sure we will be returning. Spent total of $60.34, I honestly do not believe it was worth it.

carne asada quesadilla and adobada tacos
Celine K.

i personally liked the quesadilla more than the tacos and preferred the carne asada over the adobada but both were great options. loved the salsas they had too. there's limited parking in the plaza but street parking nearby too

Telling others about Tita's Taco Shop, their service was great and friendly. Although I did not see "Tamales" on the menu. Know that the tamales are advertised on the window and are available. (HINT)- Tita's tamales are highly recommend. What else was noticeable was "Tita's peanut sauce", OMG!!! if you like spice or spicy check out their peanut sauce, it is a very complex sauce that includes peanuts. To me the flavors were so new and incredible. I'm pretty sure this sauce alone will, and can enhance the already flavorful food of Tita's Taco Shop. This goes for their tamales, tortas, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, combinations, alternative meals, or soups. Check out Tita's Taco Shop for yourself.

Not only was all the food amazing, but the portions were generous and made for some great leftovers. My parents were in town so we were out to dinner together and we all got different dishes and each one was better than the next. The quesadilla was probably the best thing we had. Our server was attentive and quick while still giving time to be friendly. When they were out of a couple items for the drinks we wanted, she was ready with alternatives and always offered to at least double check in case there was something they could do. My dad even got a little preview of a new version of their Old Fashioned since they were in the process of phasing out the old one and were out of one of the ingredients.

This was my first time visiting Casa Gabriela. I saw the menu and it looked really yummy. The major…read moredraw was the Cafe de Olla. I had to order it. It came with a yummy almond galleta dusted with powdered sugar. The coffee was perfect. I dipped my cookie in my coffee and truly it was the perfect bite plus perfect treat as I waited for my food because I was HUNGRY! Our food took a while to arrive it was a Saturday morning at brunch but it wasn't crowded. The wait was the kind of wait you do where you look at the tables around you to see who has food and who doesn't and wonder what was the seating order of the folks around you and if they got their food before you and why. So when my food arrived I was sooooo ready! I ordered the chorizo and crispy potatoes burrito. It looked great when it arrived! I strategically cut my burrito about a quarter of the way in. I knew I would at least eat a quarter but I knew I definitely wouldn't eat the whole thing and I didn't want to waste a perfectly good bite on all tortilla. I cut my burrito and put a bite on my fork and as I put my food in my mouth I looked down and find a long curly hair. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. I was disappointed for several reasons. 1. The bite I took was all egg and tortilla. No cheese no chorizo no potato. 2. I was starving! And 3. I knew I wasn't going to have anything to eat until after the other two people I was with finished eating and I could go somewhere else to get food. I didn't let it damper my mood. I showed the waiter who was very apologetic and took my plate away. When he walked away. It hit me I didn't tell him to not bring me anything else because I was going to eat a remade burrito. So I got his attention because I didn't want them to waste anymore food. Here is what I will say. To replace my food, I was given a pastry platter that was AMAZINGLY good! The concha was legit the best I've ever eaten. The banana bread was delicious with delicious toasted pecans which added a caramelized texture to the banana bread! No joke, it was so good. What I will also say is that I was visited with no less than 3 people including Gabriela herself who was absolutely apologetic about my experience and assured me it wouldn't happen again. What's also nice is that I wasn't charged for the food I ate which believe it or not has happened to me before MANY years ago. My peeps whom I was with absolutely loved their food. One had the Sopes and the other had the huevos rancheros. So while I have to be honest about my review, I really think this was a one off mistake and at the very least I would highly suggest ordering cafecito and pastries from Casa Gabriela!

Mild as far as spice level but very flavorful addition to my rice and beans. Taco had lots of beef, delicious!! Enchilada was yummy too as were rice and beans. Luis, our server, was friendly, quick with food, requests and had a good sense of humor about him. Quality food, drinks and good atmosphere keeps us coming back! In my previous review, I mentioned how good the salsa is. It's still true today. When we almost finished our salsa, they brought us some complimentary chorizo beans with some cheese to dip our chips in. That was also delicious. This time, I ordered the steak fajitas and a mango margarita. The steak fajitas are definitely larger enough to be sharing size, and their flour tortillas were homemade! Both were good, but I will say that the steak was quite dry today... I think I was overcooked. However, my mango margarita was delicious and strong, and only $8.75! A great deal for a margarita compared to other stores.
