if I could give this place a Negative 10 I would. let's start off by saying that you can call the Arcadia location and ask to speak with the owner there as well ame she will tell you her self that I am not the only person that has had issues canceling the membership. she said it's is an arm and a leg just to cancel. She has spoken to over 6 people in the last month. They are a franchise so they don't have a corporate phone number they are independently owned. I signed up on sept 17th. The owner was not even there someone had to walk her through how to sign me up, took over 30 min just to get enrolled. I signed up with the intention of goin in there for " open gym" i specifically asked the girls working the desk that I wanted to not take classes but just go in to hit the bag, she than said that the KEY FOBS will be installed no later than the 6th. i than went Into the gym on the 9th still NO KEY FOBS and I had to wait 30 min for the class to end to hit the bag because the trainer did not want me to disturb the class witch I can understand. I was more dissatisfied because it wasnt what I was told when I signed up. Lol even after they said it would be open gym? I than called to cancel and I get a text from the owner " 480 7378464" number and tells me that I have to pay another month since it's a 30 day notice. I responded and said no that is not fair please cancel me without any further billing or I was going to write a bad review just like anyone else would lol and that I was not paying $100 for 1 visit. she did not respond so I called Title boxing gym around 5 pm the next day and explained the situation to the nice front desk girl I told her what had happened. she Even agreed with me lol I mean she gave me the owners number...... I did not lie to get her cell. She GAVE me the owners phone number and TOLD me she was at a suns game lol I honestly giggled and though that could be why she didn't respond. I am assuming that her staff must not like her. The owner than answered and got pissed She was not nice and got "offended that I told her that if she did not cancel me out that I would write a bad review explaining the experience I got. I mean we do have freedom of speech this is America lol I should not be threatened by voicing my experience. so think twice about joining this so called boxing family gym lol if you " defame" them you will be legally threatened lol oh and they will come after you These are all facts let the judge decide I will be waiting :) not scared of owners / bully's like you. The proper thing to have done is cancel me out with no further billing the first time. Refund would Have been great considering the bad business I got . read more

Amazing atmosphere, Nick and Aaron are super cool. You can tell they are passionate about their craft and as a business owner myself. I highly respect that. Workout was 45 minutes long, fun, and challenging but not impossible as long as you don't give up. Aaron coached the class when I went and really enjoyed it. I tried this place out for the first time recently and I was totally disappointed on how misleading this company's advertising is. I did enjoy the class but I was charged $14 to RENT gloves that I'm never seeing again.. I purchased a Groupon and it does say you need gloves but when I went on their website to see prices they don't have any listed. And then I found in the section what to bring to class and it states your first time will loan you the gloves. I'm like cool bcuz I don't even know if I'll like the class yet why would I invest in gloves. I did try contacting the mgr/Owner Ashley but she never returned my call so I called again and luckily she answered. When I explained my situation she acted like a total B**** she kept blaming the corporate office and saying it has nothing to do with them ( her company) umm.. it says your name on the Groupon. It has everything to do with ur company. She kept saying no it's corporate and it states on Groupon u have to buy gloves or have them. Well your website says otherwise and how would a newbie know it's not for someone who has a Groupon. Title Boxing website doesn't mention none of that. I was totally thinking of signing up with them and my friend who went with me but she lost as potential customers. The mgr could of offered to refund it this one time but no never even offered a way to make it better nor did she apologize. Really bad customer Service. Do not join this gym. I canceled my gym membership with them last March due to safety concerns from Covid and come to find out they did not cancel my membership and instead continued charging me for over a year. The only way I found this out is getting a letter from a debt collection agency! I never in my life have been contacted by a debt collection agency. What a horrible, greedy company. Buyer beware. TITLE Boxing Club represents way more than a gym, they are like family. At the beginning of the pandemic, I drove by a few times just seeing what it was all about. When I built up the courage to walk in and ask questions about the club & classes in general, all my questions were answered and was invited for a free class. The club unfortunately shut down due to state mandates shortly after I joined, but the staff was in contact with members & provided access to the on demand workouts and kept members updated through social media as well. After the club reopened, they have taken extra measures to ensure the health & safety of everyone. Beyond everything else, the trainers are very motivating and supportive! I can honestly say my energy level & mental health have drastically improved and have been dropping weight with the great workouts! Been waiting to write this, as I usually wait a few months to a year before posting anything....my husband started in November 2016...he became addicted immediately and up'd his membership to a family plan and our boys started going. I didn't start to go until May of 2017 and that was all she wrote! I've been coming here and taking PT, sometimes coming twice in one day! I'm over 40 and have tried every other gimmick and gym to try to motivate myself and nothing has worked....I can only attribute my success to the level of customer service and commitment that every member of their staff possesses. As for the cancellation process, I came here on referral from friends who moved and had to cancel their membership....I reached out to them and let's just say....if you have a contract you can't cancel arbitrarily...and in most cases when you are in a position to cancel there's still a 30-45 day gap that is required and requires payment. Come and try them out and see for yourself....they're good people doing great things....if you aren't a good person who has a positive attitude and open mind, then maybe private message Pam W. and find out where she works out and join her. read more

I got into a head on car collision 7 years ago and spent a month in the hospital. During this time, I had to relearn basic functions, walking, memory loss, coordination etc. I have gone to many rehabilitation centers and signing up at gyms working on multiple coordination skills for me to always lose interest. One day I woke up and said get up, get going, try something outside your box. I found Ahwatukee Title Boxing Club and my life has changed to the highest level. I am on my 5th week there and now have worked up to 4 times a week. I absolutely love it! My coordination is starting to improve, and the exercise is off the charts! Everyone there is so nice, caring, helpful and makes you feel so comfortable. Its intense but you work at your level of strength and keep building up. The boxing trainers are ALL amazing and help you the whole time through class no matter your level of skill, it's addicting! I loved coming to this place. The trainers were friendly and motivating. However, the cancelation process has been a headache. And would I have known back then how much of a hassle this would be, I would have never signed up. I signed up for the month to month plan because I knew my time in Phoenix had an expiration date, per I travel for work and relocate frequently. I initially paid $188 to sign up and then $89 for a monthly recurring fee. When I left Phoenix in April I called to cancel, I was told I had to come in and sign paperwork, which was impossible for me since I now lived in Colorado. The man on the phone (one of the trainers but I can't recall his name) took my info and said he would have the owner call me back. Two months later, no call back. read more

I've been a member here for over a year now. They have an excellent staff of coaches, and the workout is appropriate for all levels, from total beginner to advanced. I started as a beginner, and couldn't even wrap my hands the first few weeks! Don't worry, they're there to help. Classes are offered throughout the day, from sunrise, lunch time, and multiple evening options to suit all schedules, open 7 days a week. I don't typically write reviews, but being apart of a gym that's like family, it didn't take much time to hear from my workout family that a previous member showed their true colors on social media, were called out on it and now are hating on a gym that has had such a positive impact on so many people's lives to include mine! Title offers classes based on class members ability to attend, they've had instructors who live in Goodyear and teach in Goodyear drive all the way to Ahwatukee to accommodate a small group of members who wanted to take a class either early in the morning or the middle of the day. They keep me motivated, they are positive and push me and have faith that I am stronger than I think I am..... A friend forced me to join and I'm glad she did! read more

If u don't have a medical condition that may stop you from going, DONT sign up here. I've always love title boxing. But when I signed up here I had no idea I was pregnant. My husband had just had a kidney transplant so getting pregnant was the last thing I thought would happen. I had a high risk pregnancy, so they let me hold it. But my baby a had heart condition when he was born and they would not let me cancel the membership. I couldn't drive 16 miles there and take care of a sick child while running to doctors appointments. They didn't care. They said I had a contract and that was that. And then they sent me to collections which is almost a thousand dollars!! Needless to say if you have sick ppl or could be potentially sick do not go there. This is a great gym, and my favorite Title location in the valley. When I first started it was a come-and-go kind of atmosphere; I recommend that if you try it you stick with it for a while. Great workout! I loved this place when I first started there... however with new management things have changed so much that I don't LOVE it anymore. They've lost some great employees that where the heart of the place. The new owners have been caught lying... they've increased prices (especially with personal training) to ridiculous rates... especially when they don't even have great equipment there. Title Boxing Club is a total blast! You are guaranteed a work out that will not only kick your butt, but you will have so much fun you won't want it to end! The staff is incredible, they all put a focus on being engaged with each members goals and putting their all into each class whether is 6AM or 7PM. I joined 3 months ago and go to class 5 days a week, it never gets old or repetitive. Each class is different enough to challenge you in a new way every day and still work on the fundamentals so that you are improving your technique. I can't get enough! read more

I am sorry to say this, but my previous review was just a tad over a year ago and made only after being a member for two months. I would advise to make reviews after spending a little more time than this at a gym as my experience seven months after joining and leading up to the end of that time was to say the lest very disappointing. We initially were told this gym was an open gym and that did not turn out to be true. The only time you can attend this gym is a few mins before a class or use their equipment off to the side while a class is in motion. They have limited times to attend and are pricey considering the limited times they are open. If you work full time or on weekends; don't expect to get in for a class work-out. When my son and I's work schedules became too busy to be able to make any classes we tried to cancel our membership. That was not handled properly by the staff and my son who was paying our membership was over charged and then they tried to charge him an extra two months. I try to give people a chance and ignored other reviews about people having a difficult time getting memberships cancelled, but unfortunately we experienced the same bad treatment. After we finally were not members we were treated very unfairly on social media and attacked and it was obvious ill feelings were spewed on us. We experienced very unprofessional behaviour from both staff and owner. I am sad to say this, but I would never recommend this gym to anyone and if you are a member; don't ever get suckered into social media with any staff as you will be a target of slander should you ever leave their gym. I want to personally thank the owners and staff at Title Boxing! I've been a member at this location for almost 5 years. I'm not one for basic gyms and treadmills. What I love about working out at this location is the classes kick my ass, the willingness of the trainers to work with you and the friendly environment. Ashley and Michelle have worked with me, due to my crazy work travel. I'm gone three weeks a month and they have had no issues with allowing me to freeze my account. Some might say to cancel, but I love this place too much. I've done personal training as well with Kim, and she tailored the training specifically to my limitations of the knee. I'm sure there are the bitter angry people that have something negative to say, but pay them no attention and come do a class. The staff are doing something right, because I've seen the same individuals the past five years. Some will come and go! That's normal, however most stay due to the challenging workouts. Dang, I love title boxing ahwatukee so much!! The owners run a bangin gym with classes that are consistently challenging and different from the last. Showing up for classes here is an imperative part of my physical and mental health, and the staff are all super nice and knowledgeable. Each trainer brings something unique to his or her class. My wife and I have been there 1.5 years. The classes are high energy and the more conditioned you get the harder you can push. It never gets boring and the 60 minutes go by quickly. All the instructors are motivating and they do extra contests and club activities like fantasy football. They do a good job of trying to build a welcoming community atmosphere. TITLE Boxing Club revealed to me the painful fact that I was never in shape. My first class was FREE, which is an awesome way to show members what they are buying before money is exchanged. While I could barely walk to my car afterwards, I find myself eager to return as soon as possible. Prices seem competitive and the trainer I had tonight was very friendly.
